    Arsenal and Chelsea ‘handed major boost in summer transfer window as Victor Osimhen priorities revealed’

    ARSENAL and Chelsea have reportedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Napoli star Victor Osimhen.The striker has been heavily tipped to leave Italy this summer.

    He has attracted interest from some high profile clubs including Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
    But Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be leading the race to sign Osimhen, who is prioritising a move to the Premier League, according to reporter Ben Jacobs.
    It is claimed Osimhen is seeking around £250,000 a week, which Arsenal and Chelsea would be willing to pay.
    And it appears the Nigeria international would be open to joining both clubs as it would allow him to fulfill his dream of playing in the Prem.

    However PSG also have Osimhen “very high” on their wishlist and could try to sign him if Kylian Mbappe is sold.
    Mbappe looks set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer and PSG would be able to use his wages to fund Osimhen’s salary.
    Osimhen, 25, reportedly has a release clause worth £111million that Chelsea are willing to activate.
    Mauricio Pochettino’s side remain “relaxed” over a potential transfer even after Osimhen signed a new lucrative contract with Napoli.

    Alphonso Davies ‘reaches verbal agreement’ on Bayern Munich transfer exit after ‘several meetings in recent weeks’

    ALPHONSO DAVIES has allegedly reached a “verbal agreement” to leave Bayern Munich for Real Madrid.The versatile Canadian defender, 23, left Vancouver Whitecaps for the German side back in 2018.

    Since then he has become one of the top stars at the club, helping them to win five straight Bundesliga titles plus the 2020 Champions League.
    However, his contract at Bayern expires in 2025 and he now looks set to leave them to join Madrid.
    The LaLiga leaders are on the lookout for a new left-back and are believed to have made Davies their top target.
    Now The Athletic have offered an update on the transfer chase.

    They say talks have already taken place between Madrid’s chief scout Juni Calafat and director general Jose Angel Sanchez with the player’s representatives.
    And they claim that the duo have asked Davies not to extend his deal at Bayern.
    Several meetings have reportedly taken place already, including one in person earlier this month in Madrid.
    And they now claim that a verbal agreement has been reached for Davies to either join Madrid this summer or as a free agent next year.

    Meanwhile, Marca have also revealed how much it would cost Madrid to sign him at the end of this season.

    When asked if the smears could be bitterness on Barcelona’s part, Bergvall said: “That could be the case, absolutely.
    “There was a lot of speculation, but it’s nice that everything has settled down and that I can focus only on Djurgarden.”

    Silva has also made his no secret of his desire to one day return to Benfica.
    The departures of attacking stars Cole Palmer and Riyad Mahrez meant keeping Silva at the Etihad was important going into this season.
