      Mancxhester United have finalised deals to bring Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren in as part of incoming manager Erik ten Hag’s backroom staff.
      Van der Gaag has been Ten Hag’s No2 at Ajax since last year and helped the Dutch giants clinch the Eredivisie title for a third season in a row.
      Meanwhile, former England boss McClaren had the Dutchman as his assistant back when they won the Dutch title with Twente in 2010.
      And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that the pair will be arriving to work with Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
      Speaking on social media, he said: “Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren will be part of new Man United coaching staff, confirmed.
      “Full agreement at final stages and set to be signed with both of them”
      Rangnick to juggle two roles
      Ralf Rangnick is determined to make the most out of the consultancy role he has agreed to take up at Manchester United once the season comes to an end.
      Rangnick joined United in November as interim boss following a deal that will see him being promoted as a consultant for the club in June.
      The German head coach was later announced as the next Austria manager, which raised questions as to how he will be able to juggle his next managerial job when he moves upstairs at Old Trafford.
      According to The Times, however, the 63-year-old tactician is committed to his upcoming duties and wants his position at the club to be “meaningful”.

      Juventus star Paulo Dybala, who was previously linked with Manchester United, is set to leave Turin in the summer.

      If that’s so, the United are ruled out as they look set to finish either sixth or seventh.

      Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign outgoing Juventus star Paulo Dybala, who has been previously linked with Manchester United, but there is a catch.
      Dybala is only keen on signing for a club that will be playing in the Champions League next season.
      And that will make it even more crucial for any suitor to make it to the competition.

      Incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been linked with a sensational swoop for Chelsea star N’Golo Kante this summer.
      The takeover disruption at Stamford Bridge has convinced a number of teams that some of the Blues’ prized assets are up for grabs at the end of the season.
      According to The Mirror, this has led to United chiefs, including Ten Hag, believing a swoop for Kante is realistic.
      The news comes after SunSport exclusively revealed that the West Londoners were fearing the midfielder would be one of a number of players on their way out of the club.
      Chelsea are already losing Antonio Rudiger, who is joining Real Madrid, as well as Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen, who have been linked with Barcelona.

      Bayern Munich, who are interested in Ajax star Jurrien Timber confirmed he may join Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
      But Florian Plettenberg, a correspondent for the German champions, tweeted an update which is good news for United fans.
      Plettenberg said: “Bayern inquired about him but it is said the 20 year-old could join Ten Hag at Manchester United.

      Ajax star Jurrien Timber could follow Erik ten Hag to Manchester United in the summer.
      That is according to Sky Sports, who claim Timber is on his way out of the Dutch champions.

      Ince was handed the reins temporarily in February when Veljko Paunovic was given the boot.

      Juventus want to re-sign Pogba
      Juventus are ready to offer Paul Pogba an £8million-a-year payday to re-sign him in the summer transfer window.
      That is according to the Daily Mirror, who report that Pogba, who is out of contract at the end of the season, will be offered a mega deal by former club Juve.
      The same report suggests it will be worth £160,000-per-week, and will include a huge signing-on-fee as well as bonuses.

      However, Sport are reporting Neves prefers a move to Barca as he is close to agreeing a deal with the Catalan giants.

      De Jong transfer blow
      Barcelona star and Manchester United transfer target Frenkie de Jong is willing to leave nearly £6million in unpaid wages on the table to clinch a move to Manchester City, reports SunSport’s Phil Thomas.

      Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is set to leave the club this season with Man Utd and Barcelona keen.
      However, Sport are reporting the player is close to agreeing a deal with the Catalan giants.
      The player’s agent is Jorge Mendes and he is playing a big part in the deal.
      Neves was seen tearful yesterday as he said goodbye to the Wolves fans after their game versus Norwich.
      Ten Hag comments land him in hot water
      Erik ten Hag worked alongside former Arsenal winger Marc Overmars at Ajax helping to build a talented young team.
      Overmars left the Eredivise champions back in February.
      This came as a result of sending a series of “inappropriate messages” to female colleagues.
      However, Ten Hag categorically stated that he believes Overmars could still have a future at Ajax.
      As reported by newspaper Het Parool, he said: “If Johan Derksen can return to TV, Overmars can return to Ajax.”
      TV presenter Derksen, 73, seemingly admitted live on air last month that he sexually assaulted an unconscious woman 50 years ago, although he later backtracked on his comments.
      And while Dutch prosecutors have opened an enquiry, TV show Today Inside later revealed that he would be returning.
      When elaborating on Overmars’ situation, Ten Hag added: “We humans are in this world to help each other and not to shoot each other.
      ‘I have said many times: this championship is also his championship. We built this team together.
      “After the game against Heerenveen, I also congratulated Marc with the title via text.'”
      Ten Hag plans to keep Ronaldo
      Erik ten Hag has stated that he plans to keep Cristiano Ronaldo at the club and he does have a future at Old Trafford.
      He told Dutch media: “I want to keep Cristiano at Man Utd, of course. He has been very important for this club.
      “Ronaldo is a giant, because of everything he has shown so far and because of how ambitious he is.”
      The 37-year-old has scored 24 goals in all competitions this season.

      Tuchel wants Mount investigation
      Thomas Tuchel called for an investigation into abuse aimed at Mason Mount after having his FA Cup final penalty saved.
      The 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder was subjected to four-letter rants and branded a ‘bottle job’ by online trolls on social media.

      Christensen shock
      Andreas Christensen pulled out of Chelsea’s FA Cup final squad just hours before kick off – leaving team-mates stunned.
      The defender told boss Thomas Tuchel that he was not ready to play.
      Christensen had played the whole 90 minutes of the previous match at Leeds.
      Surprised Tuchel was forced into an emergency reshuffle of his Wembley plans and started rookie Trevoh Chalobah in the Denmark centre back’s absence.

      Antonio Rudiger wanted his Chelsea career to end on a high, following a disappointing campaign.

      Chelsea are reportedly in the chase for Poland legend Robert Lewandowski.

      Both PSG and Bayern Munich tried to snatch Rudiger from Real’s clutches by offering him more money, according to Diario AS.
      And Bayern were the most keen on Rudiger after getting dumped out the Champions League by Villarreal, the report also states.
      However, the chance to play for Real was too good to turn down and the defender ultimately opted for a move to the Bernabeu.
      Perisic wants Juve transfer
      Chelsea transfer target Ivan Perisic is reportedly eyeing a move to Juventus.
      Reports have claimed that the Inter Milan star has worked out a deal with Chelsea.
      But according to GetfootballnewsItaly, Perisic would prefer a move to Juve.
      Salah will make final
      Mo Salah will be available to play in the Champions League final despite picking up an injury on Saturday.
      The winger, 29, was forced off with a groin injury 33 minutes into the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
      While it looked very concerning for the Reds at the time, Salah has since confirmed that it is nothing serious.

      The accident happened around 8am local time on Saturday on the main road between the towns of Pujato and Casilda in the Argentine province of Santa Fe.

      Robert Lewandowski’s agent is piling the pressure on Bayern Munich to sell the striker to Barcelona, according to reports.

      Xavi not worried by Lew’s age
      Barcelona boss Xavi has insisted he is open to signing veterans amid the Catalan giants being linked with a move for Robert Lewandowski.

      However, Juve aren’t willing to pay Pogba the rumoured £9.3m he receives annually at Man United.
      But the Serie A giants hope to haggle him down when his representatives meet with the club in the coming days, according to Goal, via the Daily Mail.
      Arsenal agree Hickey transfer deal
      Arsenal have reportedly agreed a £21 million transfer fee with Bologna to sign Aaron Hickey.
      Hickey operates mainly for Bologna at left full-back and has attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle, Manchester United and Napoli in the past.
      And now it seems that it is the Gunners that have won the race for the Scotland international’s signature.
      That’s according to CalcioNapoli24.it, who state that a transfer fee of £21m has been agreed between the two clubs.
      They claim that Bologna’s sporting director Riccardo Bigon allegedly flew to London recently for talks with the Gunners.
      And those discussions led to an agreement being made for the player.
      Man United’s part-exchange plan
      Man United are reportedly hoping to use Anthony Martial in a part-exchange deal with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
      Napoli have already rejected an offer from the Red Devils for Osimhen.
      But United want to entice Napoli to the negotiation table by adding Martial into the mix as a makeweight, according to CaughtOffside.
      But United also have to fend off interest from Arsenal who are tracking the striker too.
      Former United star’s challenges
      Luke Chadwick has opened up on the challenges he faced while at Man United.
      Chadwick said: “Injuries throughout my younger years took a little bit of pace away and without that, I wasn’t at the level to go on to be a great United player.
      “Playing for Cambridge against United was mad really – it was a great way to end my career.
      “It was amazing going back there. I remember walking off the pitch at Old Trafford to a standing ovation and it meant so much. I didn’t even know that the fans would remember who I was. It was an amazing end to my career.”
      Sancho’s optimistic about Ten Hag
      Jadon Sancho is looking forward to Erik ten Hag’s imminent arrival at Man United.
      He told Premier League Productions, via United’s website: “To start again fresh, with a new manager coming in, we’re looking forward to seeing what his ideas and plans for the team are.

      Ten Hag’s huge mistake
      Erik ten Hag has already made a huge mistake before taking the Man United job by letting Edinson Cavani leave.

      Man United have been urged not to sign Barcelona star Frenkie De Jong.
      The midfielder isn’t the right fit for Man United’s set-up, according to Steve Nicol.
