      MANCHESTER UNITED goalkeeper Dean Henderson has travelled to the North East for talks with Newcastle.The Magpies have failed with an attempt to sign Henderson on loan in January.

      How Ten Hag should treat players
      Erik ten Hag needs to treat all Man United players the same, Paul Parker claims.
      He told indiabetting.co.in: “I think someone who comes in and just talks and doesn’t stutter and does not make eye contact. I would imagine, he knows all that stuff, it’s all the part of management. Hopefully, he is going to be a manager and not just a head coach.”
      “Not someone who’s gonna walk in and start looking around and going “well, he’s earned that much money, he’s earned that much money,” and you think: Oh, I can’t have a go at him because he sells so many shirts and he’s got so many followers on Instagram.”
      “Go in there, everyone is in exactly the same boat and you treat all of them the same, nothing different, and that’s the bit that I would be looking for.”
      What Ten Hag needs to do
      Erik ten Hag needs to stamp his authority at Man United immediately, according to Paul Parker.
      Parker told indiabetting.co.in: “I think it’s the same thing for any job really, establishing authority. You know, you walk in your first day into any job, I mean, it’s gonna be difficult.
      “The first thing; your first team talk, your first group talk, your squad talk, that’s your most important one. It is the one that makes you or breaks you. It Is the one where anybody who will have a bad attitude will be looking for an excuse to dig into him. He’s got to let everyone know, that he’s not gonna suffer any problems.
      “It’s as simple as that. He’s come across there. His reputation is at stake as well. You know he’s a well-known man in his own country. He’s managed a very successful club, a big club, a renowned club and he surely hasn’t gone to Manchester United to ruin all that.”
      “He’s in a position now, where it’s gonna make him or break him. That’s what Manchester United has done to the previous four or five managers, I’ve lost count now. So, he’s got to go in there and do something different to all of them.
      “If he hasn’t been given the license to do it, just grab it. Just grab it now and just say I’m gonna take it and if you don’t like it get rid of me. He can’t have people messing him about. He can’t have people who are not going to give him a hundred per cent.”
      Juventus plan Prem raid
      Juventus chief Federico Cherubini has reportedly arrived in London as he looks to secure a deal for Chelsea’s Jorginho.
      The Italian giants appear to have won the race to sign Manchester United’s Paul Pogba on a free transfer when the Frenchman’s contract expires next month.
      And the 29-year-old could be lining-up alongside Jorginho when he returns to Turin next term.
      Todd Boehly’s consortium hope to complete their takeover of Chelsea by the end of the month, which will finally allow them to get back in the game transfer wise.
      However, a big-name departure could be the first topic of conversation, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
       They state that Juventus have made Italy international midfielder Jorginho, 30, one of their top targets and have now begun their attempt to get him.
      Charlie Savage signs long-term deal
      Charlie Savage has signed a long-term contract with Man United.
      Robbie Savage’s son said on Instagram after penning the deal: “Great way to end an amazing season. Delighted to sign a long-term contract with this special club.
      “Thank you to my family for their support, without them this would never have been possible.
      “Also, a big shoutout to the @neweraglobalsports team for help making this happen, especially to Jake, Chris and Rio.
      “Time for a short break before going again and giving everything to keep pushing forward.”
      Wan-Bissaka allowed to leave Man Utd, say reports
      Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be allowed to leave permanently or on loan, report Sky Sports.
      Wan-Bissaka, 24, has endured a difficult campaign at Old Trafford.
      The full-back has started only 25 games with Diogo Dalot being preferred of late.
      SunSport exclusively revealed last week that ex-United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on Wan-Bissaka for Roma.
      Crystal Palace, who sold Wan-Bissaka to United for £50million in 2019, would be open to re-signing him.
      The full-back is also drawing admiring glances from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
      Dean Henderson in Newcastle to discuss move
      Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is “closing in on a move” to Newcastle United.
      The Manchester Evening News claim that Henderson, 25, was in Newcastle for talks on Wednesday.
      Discussions have been held over a loan deal but a permanent move has “not been ruled out”.
      Van der Gaag and McClaren to be part of coaching staff, say reports
      Erik ten Hag is claimed to want Mitchell Van der Gaag as his assistant at Old Trafford.
      Van Der Gaag is likely to be the man tasked with helping Ten Hag salvage the sinking ship at Manchester United as his No2.
      And reports say that Steve McClaren will also be re-joining the club.
      Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren will be part of new Man Utd coaching staff, confirmed.
      “Full agreement at final stages and set to be signed with both of them.
      “#MUFC Official statement for McClaren to join United could be next week, as @MrStephenHowson reports.”
      United’s transfer struggles
      Former Man United star Teddy Sheringham reckons the Red Devils have fallen down the pecking order as a destination for big players.
      Sheringham made the claims whilst discussing United’s interest in Harry Kane.
      The former England striker told Genting Casino: “Manchester United are falling down the pecking order for big players, but having said that, they are still a massive club, they’re still a massive draw.
      “If they do come calling, it’ll be hard to turn them down. Even if they’re not in any European competitions next season, it would still be a very tough thing to say no to Manchester United.”

      Ten Hag in England
      Erik Ten Hag has arrived in London on a private jet and could attend Manchester United’s final game of the season, writes ETIENNE FERMIE.
      The Dutchman flew in on Wednesday afternoon alongside assistant Mitchell van der Gaag.
      The duo had previously been working for the Red Devils remotely, so as not to distract from Ralf Rangnick’s preparations for United’s final game of the season against Crystal Palace.
      According to the Mail, Ten Hag and Van der Gaag could be in attendance at Selhurst Park to watch their new side in action.
      Both men are expected to meet with Red Devils colleagues today.
      Rangnick, however, will continue preparing United for Sunday’s final match.
      Good morning Man United fans
      Manchester United will have to pay £30million to bring Jurrien Timber to Old Trafford this summer.
      That’s the understanding of transfers journalist Ekrem Konur, who understands that Ajax have set an asking price of €35m – approximately £30m – for the 20-year-old.

      He said: “I think he’ll be a good addition. What’s good with ten Hag is that he’s already got a relationship from before.
      “And he will be able to steer him in the right direction.”
      Man City enter Phillips transfer race
      Man City have reportedly entered the transfer race to sign Leeds star Kalvin Phillips – with the ace allegedly set to snub rivals Man United.
      West Ham had a club record £50m bid for Leeds United’s Phillips rejected in the January window but are set to try again this summer.
      And the 26-year-old could be available at a cut price if the Elland Road club drop to the Championship.
      Manchester United and Aston Villa are also both interested in Phillips with Steven Gerrard having had his own bid for the Yorkshire Pirlo knocked back during the winter window.
      Now the Daily Mirror state that City have emerged as contenders for the England international.
      Barca track wonderkid
      Barcelona are planning to make an offer for Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick.
      That’s according to SPORT, who claim Barca hope to buy Endrick when he turns 16 in July and signs a professional contract with the Brazilian outfit.
      He would then remain with Palmeiras until he’s 18, and then join Barca in 2024, the report adds.
      It’s also claimed that Barca plan to table an offer with a fixed sum plus a variable component depending on the youngster’s progression.
      The news will be a blow to Man United who have also been tracking Endrick.

      Man United transfer target striker Sasa Kalajdzic is set to leave Stuttgart this summer.
      Stuttgart’s chief Sven Mislintat said to Bild about the attacker: “As things stand, we have to generate another significant transfer surplus in this summer of transfers.
      “So nothing other than the renewed objective of staying in the league is realistic for me. Especially if you take into account the quality of the already determined promoted teams.
      “It would be outstanding if we can keep Sasa as a player and guy in our team. However, in my estimation, this is not very likely.”

      Jesse Lingard was full of praise for Man United’s young stars who won the FA Youth Cup.
      Lingard told United’s media: “It’s brilliant. I think it’s been a long time coming.
      “With the team that they had, I’m sure they must have had confidence in the way they got through to the final and getting the job done.
      We knew how hard it was when we were playing in the Youth Cup. We had a lot of tough games but we stuck together and played the Man United way.
      “They did that, they stuck to their task and they won the Youth Cup, which is a huge honour.”

      RANGERS have suffered penalty shootout heartbreak as the Germans came up trumps from the spot once again.In a game of few chances, makeshift striker Joe Aribo pounced on a defensive error to give the Gers the lead in Seville.
      But Rafael Santos Borre poked home from close range to level for the Germans and force extra time.
      Ryan Kent had the chance to win the Europa League trophy with seconds left but a world class save from point blank range from Kevin Trapp denied him.
      And that meant a penalty shootout.
      After some brilliant spot kicks, Aaron Ramsey saw his penalty saved by Trapp as the Germans scored five out of five to win the trophy.

      A brutal end
      How many times have we seen managers bring on players just for a penalty shoot-out. I find it a strange tactic, but it happened again this evening with Aaron Ramsey. Rangers’ big-name signing came on in the 117th minute. Having barely kicked a ball, he stepped up to take, and miss, penalty number four. The Welshman will carry that burden for a little while yet.
      But in truth, it had to be someone.

      Kent’s golden opportunity
      Rangers came ‘that’ close to winning it in extra time. Kemar Roofe slid the ball across the box to Ryan Kent in the 120th minute. But with the whole goal to aim at, Kevin Trapp came out on top, denying the 25-year-old from point blank range.
      The German goalkeeper put on a hell of a show this evening.

      62 years of hurt
      Frankfurt are back in the big time and will play Champions League football for the first time since 1960.
      That year, when it was still called the European Cup, they interestingly beat Rangers in the semi-final, with a whopping 12-4 aggregate win.
      However they were downed 7-3 in the final by Real Madrid, who have enjoyed rather more European success in the six decades since.
      All is not lost
      Rangers may have lost the Europa League final but they still have a chance of securing Champions League football.
      The Gers will now have to go through the non-champions qualifying path.
      And as a result of all Russian teams being expelled, they will enter the tournament at the third qualifying round rather than the second qualifying round.
      That means they are guaranteed Europa League football even if they lose in qualifying.

      Borre stole in to level the scores in the second half.
      He then scored the final penalty to win it for his side.

      Caught in a Trapp
      Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp was the hero tonight for the German side with a point black save from Ryan Kent and a penalty save from Aaron Ramsey.
      And nobody will be more delighted than his biggest fan, fiancee Izabel Goulart.
      The former Victoria’s Secret lingerie model is a regular at his games with Frankfurt and was seen sharing a kiss with him after their wins over Barcelona and West Ham.
      In 2018, she even bragged that the couple make love five times a week, which can leave him tired for matches.

      Billy Sharp attack latest – Oli McBurnie ‘stamps on Forest fan’ as Sheffield United captain is left needing stitches

      NOTTINGHAM FOREST beat Sheffield United 3-2 on penalties to book their place in the Championship play-off final.But the triumph was soured by a disgraceful fan attack on Sheffield United’s Billy Sharp during the post-game pitch invasion, which left the player needing stitches.
      And in a separate video, Sharp’s furious team-mate Oli McBurnie appeared to kick a Nottingham Forest fan in the head while he was on the ground.
      Sheffield United said of the McBurnie incident: “There were football fans on the pitch, where they shouldn’t have been, and he was acting in self defence.
      “The video doesn’t show what happened before – or after – and it does not show that any contact was made.”

      Attack fan branded a “coward”
      Ally McCoist has labelled the fan who attacked Billy Sharp as a “coward.”
      McCoist raged on talkSPORT: “It’s as cowardly an act as I have seen at a football ground maybe ever.
      Billy Sharp is looking disappointed at how things are going, and some idiot, absolute idiot comes from his blindside and puts a head on him, gives him stitches.

      Agbonlahor calls for action
      Gabby Agbonlahor has given his thoughts on the Billy Sharp fan incident.
      He said on talkSPORT: “You don’t know what fans are going to do, that’s the problem.
      “Sometimes it might even be the player that plays for the team the fans are coming on for.
      “It doesn’t mean that because you’re playing for, for instance last night, Nottingham Forest that every fan is going to love you.
      “You might have upset a fan or… So it is very dangerous. They need more stewards, more police and maybe punishments for the clubs that allow the fans to get on the pitch.
      “You can stop them. I think it’s become a thing where they let the fans on, it’s a big occasion. But it needs to stop.”
      Forest face Prem punishment
      Nottingham Forest could face a Premier League punishment after the Billy Sharp attack.
      Forest are just one game away from Prem promotion after they beat Sheffield United on Tuesday night.
      But after Sharp was attacked by a Forest fan, the Daily Star report that Forest’s first game in the Prem may have to be played behind closed doors if they win the play-off final.
      Forest fans raise Sharp cash
      Nottingham Forest fans have decided to raise money in support of Billy Sharp.
      Sharp was left needing stitches after a brutal attack by a Forest fan.
      But Forest supporters have rallied together to raise cash for a charity of Sharp’s choice.
      The group labelled, A Just Giving Page was launched to; “to show our condemnation as Forest fans.”
      And so far the Forest collective have pulled in £2,600.
      Sharp attack was “absolute disgrace”
      The attack on Billy Sharp was an ‘absolute disgrace,’ according to ex-Nottingham Forest star Michael Dawson.

      Man United transfer target striker Sasa Kalajdzic is set to leave Stuttgart this summer.

      CHELSEA are reportedly ready to complete the signing of Jules Kounde as soon as Todd Boehly’s takeover of the club is complete.The Blues want to push the deal through as quickly as possible with the departures of Toni Rudiger and Andreas Christensen imminent.
      In contrast to lasts summer when they upped the asking price at the last minute, Sevilla are also said to want a quick deal so they can focus on signing a replacement.
      Meanwhile Thomas Tuchel has questions the attitude of outgoing Christensen as he revealed the Dane has withdrawn from Chelsea matchday squads on multiple occasions, as he did in the FA Cup final at the weekend.

      Christensen’s not wanted to play
      But it’s not the first time that Christensen has opted not to play, Tuchel revealed.
      The defender also refused to play at some point in the past few weeks, Tuchel claimed.
      He added: “But it was not the first time, as you can see over the last weeks that we had some of the same situations where he could not play so regularly.”
      Christensen’s absence in final explained
      Thomas Tuchel has lifted the lid on Andreas Christensen’s absence in the FA Cup final.
      He said: “Andreas came in the morning of the match to speak to me and tell me he was not ready to play the match, start the match, or be on the bench.

      City’s swoop for Spanish Seagull
      Manchester City are considering a £30million bid for Brighton’s Marc Cucurella, according to reports in The Mail.
      The 23-year-old has enjoyed a brilliant first season in the Premier League, and has been a key factor in helping the Seagulls to what could be their highest finish since returning to the top-flight.
      Cucurella has excelled whether operating as a wing-back, or on the left of a back three, and last week picked up Albion’s Player of the Year award.
      Pep Guardiola is known to be an admirer of his compatriot, and sees the defender as the potential answer to City’s problematic left-back spot.

      Angel and the Old Lady
      Juventus are expected to sign Angel Di Maria on a short-term contract this summer.
      The 34-year-old is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in June, and the French champions have not discussed the possibility of triggering an automatic extension.
      According to Fabrizio Romano, the former Manchester United attacking midfielder wants one final season in Europe before returning to his native Argentina, and has caught the eye of Serie A giants Juve.
      United could do the Botman
      Manchester United are considering a summer swoop for centre-back Sven Botman, according to the Football Insider.
      The Lille defender has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan, but reports now suggest that the Red Devils could beat the Italian giants to the 22-year-old.
      Erik ten Hag has already begun discussing transfer targets with United officials, and has reportedly made a left-sided centre-half a priority.

      Arteta in for Barca’s Umtiti
      Mikel Arteta remains interested in bringing Samuel Umtiti to Arsenal after it emerged that Barcelona were willing to sell the defender.
      The Daily Star reports that the Arsenal boss is considering a swoop for the 28-year-old this summer despite missing out on a loan move for the player back in January.
      The French international is supposedly surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp, and has now been told he can leave the LaLiga giants.
      The news comes in the same week that Gunners centre-back Gabriel was linked with a transfer to Juventus.
      Should the Brazilian exit the Emirates, Arteta may well decide to replace him with the experienced Umtiti.
      However, many Arsenal supporters are hoping to see William Saliba in the first team next season after the 21-year-old’s successful season on loan at Marseille.

      Real Madrid will announce the free transfer of Kylian Mbappe after their Champions League final against Liverpool.

      In other news, Tottenham will sign both Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent basis this summer, reports suggest.
      That is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Spurs have set aside €80million (£68m) to tie both loan stars down with fresh contracts.
      Kulusevski joined the North Londoners from Juventus in January on an initial 18-month loan deal.
      Romero arrived earlier last summer on loan from Atalanta with the option to buy for £42.5m.
      It is understood that there is also a five-year contract already agreed with the centre-back that will become official once his loan turns into a permanent transfer.
      Finally, Enzo Fernandez is set to become the subject of a three-way transfer tussle between three of European football’s elite clubs, according to reports.
      The 21-year-old River Plate star is being targeted by Manchester City, Manchester United and Champions League finalists Real Madrid.
      According to Clarin, the star is irreplaceable for Marcelo Gallardo’s River Plate side, but with a release clause of just £17million the situation could be taken out of their hands.

      N’Golo Kante has opened up about his Chelsea future.

      Barcelona president Joan Laporta has refused to rule out a transfer exit for Frenkie De Jong.
      The Barca chief will instead let club boss Xavi make the final decision on De Jong’s whereabouts next season.
      He said: “We will do what is best for the club. If the economic levers that we want to activate come off, no player will leave for economic reasons.
      “I insist. Let the sports management work. There are players who are quoted to have received offers.
      In the sports area, Xavi and Mateu Alemany rule and he ends up deciding the club’s sports management.
      “I will follow what the professionals of the club say.”
      Man United transfer boost
      Man United transfer target Nikola Milenkovic isn’t good enough to play for Juventus who are also interested in the defender.
      That’s the view of Italy defender Pietro Vierchowod who formed his verdict after watching Milenkovic’s performance for Fiorentina against Sampdoria.
      “I have to say I was watching Sampdoria-Fiorentina yesterday and I don’t believe Milenkovic is good enough for Juventus.
      “Obviously, this is just my personal opinion. He conceded four goals against a side that is already safe and with such basic errors, that’s just not possible.

      Kante would improve United midfield
      N’Golo Kante is guaranteed to improve the Manchester United midfield if the Red Devils are able to tempt the 31-year-old to Old Trafford this summer.
      United have been heavily linked with the Frenchman over the past few days, and Paul Parker believes the deal would be a no-brainer should it present itself.
      The former England international believes that Kante could fulfil the role that current United midfielders struggle with.
      In conversation with indiabetting.co.in, Parker said of Kante: “He will improve Manchester United’s midfield a hundred per cent because he can go and get the ball off of players without always fouling them.
