Sources close to the player believe that all aspects are ready to go on the deal and that they are just awaiting the final seal from Fulham.

The Ligue 1 side, owned by British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, have offered a bigger fee to Shakthar and a larger wage to Solomon than that on offer from West London.

“I think he has one more year on his contract, so whatever he decides, let’s see.”
    Brentford eye ex-United flop
Brentford are plotting a swoop for ex-Manchester United flop Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.
The goalkeeper moved to Old Trafford back in 2014 from Serbian club Vojvodina.
He then suffered work permit issues that prevented him from making an appearance for the club.
And that led to his departure from United just a year later having failed to make any impact.
Now TuttoSport claims that Brentford are lining up a bid to give the now Torino stopper a second shot at the Premier League.
    Chelsea face Raphinha coup
Chelsea are fighting Barcelona’s 11th-hour attempt to sign Raphinha.
Blues owner Todd Boehly looked like he had bagged the Brazil winger after agreeing a £55million deal with Leeds.
But having seen off interest from rivals Arsenal, Boehly now faces the threat of losing out to Barcelona.
Raphinha’s agent Deco, who played for both Barca and Chelsea, was spotted at the Spanish giants’ offices on Wednesday in a last-ditch attempt to engineer a move.

We revealed Gers had made an improved £2m offer plus bonuses in a bid to prise Colak away from PAOK’s Dutch pre-season camp.

    Chelsea get De Ligt boost
Chelsea have received a major boost in their pursuit of Matthijs de Ligt after Juventus’ CEO hinted that the star wants to leave.
uventus chief Maurizio Arrivabene has appeared to have bolstered their hopes of landing De Ligt – saying they will be happy to do business as long as their asking price is met.
He said: “It’s impossible to keep players when they want to leave the club – but all the three parties in the negotiations have to be satisfied.”
    Good Morning football fans.
Man Utd are looking to hijack Arsenal’s bid to land Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.
The Gunners have put in a third offer for the Argentine centre-back – after being told their previous bid of £34million was not enough.
But United have now registered their interest to the Dutch giants and asked to be kept informed of developments.
Erik ten Hag was planning to switch his attention to his forward line now deals for Frenkie de Jong and Tyrrell Malacia have been set up.
However the Red Devils were concerned that the 24-year-old Martinez would be heading for North London unless they made their interest known quickly.
Martinez has set his heart on a move to the Premier League – although the Dutch giants will demand around £43m to think about letting him leave.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku is back in Italy ahead of his return to Inter Milan and has proudly posed with a club scarf.
The 29-year-old will link up with the San Siro outfit for a second time just a year after he re-joined Chelsea in a club-record £97.5million deal.
But he failed to hit the heights expected of him at Stamford Bridge, with Thomas Tuchel deeming him surplus to requirements.
And Inter have been quick to secure his services with the Serie A giants agreeing a £6.9m season-long loan deal with the Blues.
    More on Martinez
Arsenal’s opening bid of £26m was rejected – as was their second which was £8m higher.
Their latest offer is a similar downpayment but with more add-ons – so that may not be enough to tempt Ajax to do business.
They are now likely to wait to see if a firm offer comes in for Lisandro Martinez from United.
He had previously indicated he was happy to join Arsenal but the prospect of re-uniting with his former boss Ten Hag at Old Trafford may change his mind.
It would be a blow for Mikel Arteta who has also seen Chelsea move in for another of his key targets, Raphinha, in recent days.
Spanish giants Barcelona are also in the race for the Brazilian who is rated at around £60m by his current club Leeds.
Meanwhile United are happy with the way their move for Malacia is progressing – despite a late bid from Lyon to turn his head back towards them.
He is expected to move to the North West and provide competition for Luke Shaw next season.

    Everton in talks for Winks
Everton are likely to sign Harry Winks regardless of where Richarlison‘s future lies, according to Givemesport.
The Brazilian international is being strongly linked with a move to Tottenham, with a potential swap deal involving Winks under consideration, but Jones is confident the midfielder will end up linking up with ex-teammate Dele Alli, no matter what happens with Richarlison.
According to Sky Sports’ Michael Bridge, Spurs and Everton are in talks over Winks, although the north Londoners are pushing for a permanent transfer, while the Toffees are seeking a loan deal with an option to buy.
Winks has already been told to find a new club by Tottenham and has been valued at around £20m.
Meanwhile, the same outlet state that Spurs are interested in Richarlison and Anthony Gordon, as Conte hopes to provide squad depth ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League next term.

    Koul runnings
Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly emerged as a potential target for Chelsea.
It has been claimed that the Senegal international has been added to Thomas Tuchel’s shortlist in his quest to bolster his backline.
The Blues boss is desperate for reinforcements in defence after Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen departed as free agents.
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players, with the club reportedly having a £34million offer plus either Timo Werner or Christian Pulisic for Matthijs de Ligt rejected by Juventus.
They are also understood to be keen on bringing Manchester City’s Nathan Ake back to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile Sevilla star Jules Kounde remains of interest, however they face competition from Barcelona in the race to secure the Frenchman’s services.

    Tuchy subject
Romelu Lukaku did not enjoy a successful return to Chelsea and part of the reason for his failure was his strained relationship with Thomas Tuchel.
Lukaku, 29, first got on the wrong side of the German by publicly expressing his desire to return to Inter in a now infamous interview.
In the same interview Lukaku also criticised Tuchel’s style of play, suggesting it restricted him to too few chances in front of goal.
But Tuchel also irritated Lukaku with a jibe that poked fun at the striker’s relationship with his former manager Antonio Conte.
According to Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, Lukaku was left unhappy with Tuchel’s wind-up.
Kinsella revealed: “To see him talk so highly of Inter [during the Sky Italia interview] was an insult to Chelsea fans. It broke the relationship with them.
“And there was another incident behind the scenes that wasn’t televised or anything like that.
“Someone told me that Lukaku and Tuchel were watching a Tottenham game and Tuchel said, ‘There’s your daddy’, about Antonio Conte.
“It was just a joke, but apparently, it didn’t go down very well with Lukaku.”

    ICYMI
PSG star Neymar has been informed by club chiefs he is no longer wanted at Parc des Princes, reports suggest.
That is according to RMC Sport, who claim PSG are keen to rebuild without the star forward ahead of this coming season.
The Brazil international has been linked with a summer exodus from Paris this summer with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United showing interest,
United, Chelsea and Newcastle would be the only realistic transfer options for Neymar if he does leave PSG, whom he joined for a world record £200million in 2017.
The Premier League trio are the only clubs with the financial might to meet the Parisians and the striker’s financial demands.

    Raph news
Raphinha’s agent was spotted at the Nou Camp less than 24 hours after Chelsea appeared to move into pole position to sign the Leeds winger.
The west Londoners dealt a hammer blow to Arsenal’s hopes of signing the Brazilian on Tuesday by tabling a bid north of £55million for his services.
A deal has yet to be reached and talks with the player’s agent – former Barcelona ace Deco – are set to take place later this week.
But Barca could be poised to land the winger after Deco was spotted at the Nou Camp with club chiefs Rafa Yuste, Mateu Alemany, Enric Masip and president Joan Laporta.
Spanish journalist Victor Navvaro captured footage of the group leaving the stadium and shared it on Twitter.

    Spurs ‘set to snag genius’
Tottenham are set to snap up the set-piece genius who help fire Italy to Euro 2020 glory.
Veteran coach Gianni Vio, 69, is in talks to join Antonio Conte’s backroom staff ahead of the new season as the Italian looks to improve Spurs’ threat from set pieces.
The ex-banker-turned-deadball boffin wrote a thesis on set pieces as part of his coaching badges and claims to have more than 4,000 routines up his sleeve.
Vio helped Roberto Mancini at Euro 2020 last year and has previously worked at AC Milan, Leeds and Brentford.
Of the big six, only Manchester United scored fewer goals from set pieces than Spurs’ eight last season, meaning it is an area Conte is desperate to improve as they bid to bridge the gap to Manchester City and Liverpool.
    Southampton ‘sign Man City starlet’
Southampton are on the verge of signing Man City starlet Romeo Lavia, according to reports.
The Saints were locked in battle with Leeds for the 18-year-old’s services.
But the Saint Mary’s outfit have emerged victorious in the transfer race, The Athletic reported.
City wanted to keep hold of Lavia and have the option to buy him back, the report adds.

    Dutch courage
Everton are leading the race to sign Tottenham star Steven Bergwijn, according to reports.
Spurs are believed to be open to selling the Netherlands international this summer amid interest from Everton and Ajax.
Bergwijn, 24, has also admitted that he is seeking a transfer as he looks to play regular football.
And it seems Everton have the upper hand as they are willing to offer Bergwijn more money than Ajax, report De Telegraaf.
The Toffees are reportedly ready to match Tottenham’s asking price too, believed to be in the region of £21million.
But Bergwijn is said to prefer a move to Ajax due to the Dutch champions being able to offer Champions League football.

    Rab race
Adrien Rabiot wants to leave Juventus to join a Premier League club this summer.
The Telegraph claim Rabiot wants to leave the Serie A heavyweights to join an English club playing Champions League football.
And Juventus have agreed to his requests and will look to offload him for between £13-17million this summer.
Betfair think Chelsea are the frontrunners at odds of 5/2.
Three other Champions League sides in Liverpool (5/1), Manchester City (8/1) and Tottenham (10/1) are next in the betting markets.
Italian publication Calciomercato claim Liverpool are hatching a plan to swap Adrien Rabiot and Naby Keita, who are both 27 with 12 months remaining on their current deals.
There’s a large jump to Europa League duo Manchester United and Arsenal, who are locked together at 20/1.

    Eye of the Hag-er
Erik Ten Hag is close to making Tyrell Malacia his first signing as Manchester United boss and he has liked the defender for some time.
United are reportedly set to hijack Lyon’s move for the Feyenoord star in a £14m deal.
And Ten Hag knows a lot about the left-back from his time as Ajax manager – when he first set eyes on the youngster.
Footage has emerged from a match between Feyenoord and Ajax when Malacia certainly caught the eye.
Ten Hag is seen saying in Dutch: “That kid at left-back is amazing.”
He also tells his assistant Michael Reiziger to take note of Malacia, possibly with a view to signing him in the future.

    Mad for you
Atletico Madrid are reportedly in talks with Arsenal over a transfer for Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin, 27, spent the season on loan at Real Betis and a move back to La Liga could be on the cards.
ElDesmarque report Atletico are “already negotiating” with the Gunners over the full-back, who has told the North London club of his desire to leave.
Bellerin knows “first-hand” of interest from the Madrid side and it is making him rethink his future.
He is “seduced” by the option of playing in the capital but Betis remains his preferred option after his successful 2021-22 campaign.
The Spain international impressed for his boyhood club where he helped the Seville outfit win the Copa del Rey, as well as finishing fifth.

    Luk at that
Inter Milan fans turned out in force to get a glimpse of the returning Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku arrived in Milan for a medical today after Chelsea agreed a £6.9million fee to ship the 29-year-old out on loan.
And Lukaku grinned broadly as he waved to adoring fans from the window of the Italian Olympic Committee’s headquarters in Milan.
The Chelsea flop waved and gave a thumbs up to the crowd who had defied a warning from Inter Ultras NOT to welcome Lukaku back to the club.
Scorned Curva Nord fanatics urged fans not to “run and drool” after Lukaku following his return.
Instead they claimed he will have to earn their affection back with “humility and sweat”.

    Col me maybe
Southampton are considering a move for Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill as Ralph Hasenhuttl looks to continue his youth revolution.
The Saints have already snapped up two young players this summer in Gavin Bazunu – a goalkeeper from Manchester City – and 20-year-old defender Armel Bella-Kotchap, who arrived from German club Vfl Bochum.
And now Hasenhuttl wants to make another raid on Chelsea’s youth ranks.
The south coast side took three players from Cobham last summer with Tino Livramento and Dynel Simeu joining on permanent deals as well as Armando Broja spending last season on loan.
Now Colwill is in Southampton’s sights – with Premier League rivals Leicester City also tracking his progress.
The defender, 19, spent last season on loan with Championship side Huddersfield, who reached the play-off final where they lost to Nottingham Forest.

    Wright shares Jesus excitement
Ian Wright has given his opinion on what Gabriel Jesus will bring to Arsenal next season.
Wright said: “I started to think about what he brings and what he can do. I was thinking, he’s perfect. He’s perfect – I don’t think they have promised him anything, he is going to play.
“For him, to come to our place knowing that he’s our main man. See a player ready to be number one, go to a club that they want him to be number one, it’s got to be a massive incentive for him.
“If we are looking at Salah and Son sharing the Golden Boot from out wide and how Gabriel Jesus will play more regularly and hopefully score more goals.
“You don’t need to be in there as that number nine, scoring loads of goals to win the Golden Boot, you can do it from the wing.
“All that intense rivalry is needed (between Jesus, Smith Rowe, Nketiah and Martinelli) of quality players because everybody has to step up – that signing is an amazing signing in respect of what we want to do.”
    Jesus tipped for Arsenal success
Gabriel Jesus will flourish as the main man at Arsenal, according to Danny Murphy.
Murphy told the Daily Mirror: “I think being a bigger fish in a smaller pond and playing as a number nine and having the team being built around him will benefit him.

Arsenal starlet Taylor Foran has signed a professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old defender’s been with the Gunners for over a decade.
And now he’ll be rubbing shoulders with the big boys next season onwards.
Speaking on his new deal, Foran said: “I’m absolutely buzzing, it’s been a dream come true.
“Everyone around the building is so nice, the vibe is just unexplainable, everyone is out to help each other and I just knew it was the right place for me to continue my journey.”
    Why Arsenal didn’t sign Bissouma
Arsenal didn’t sign Yves Bissouma because they’re focused on recruiting Youri Tielemans.
That’s the view of Arsenal icon Kevin Campbell who made the claims when asked why the Gunners didn’t battle Spurs for Bissouma.
He explained to the Highbury Squad: “I think we bypassed Bissouma because we want Tielemans.
“We want more of a progressive player in that midfield, somebody who can do the job in midfield but somebody who is going to be a goal-threat.
    Arsenal eye two more transfers
Arsenal are aiming to make two more signings before the transfer window shuts.
That’s according to club legend Paul Merson who claims Arsenal’s transfer supremo Edu gave him the heads up during a conversation last weekend.
Merson said: “They are looking good. I’ve seen Edu on Sunday and we had a little chat. I think they’ve bought well, they’re trying to get a couple more players in.
But Merson remained tight-lipped when pressed on who the new arrivals will be out of respect for Edu.
He added: “I can’t say that, he was talking to me in confidence.”
    Good morning Arsenal fans
Arsenal are pushing ahead with plans to sign a new midfielder this summer.
The Gunners are prioritising Leicester star Youri Tielemans for the role ahead of Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Fabrizio Romano.
That is because Tielemans will cost the Gunners 40million less than Milinkovic-Savic.
The Belgium international’s contract expires in 2023, which means the Foxes could be open to letting him go on the cheap this summer, whereas Lazio are demanding £68m for the Serbia international.
But Arsenal, though, are still persistent in the transfer pursuit of Milinkovic-Savic.
The Gunners reportedly had a €55million (£47.2m) offer for the midfielder rebuffed as the Serie A side wanted more cash.
But the North Londoners are preparing to issue a new and improved bid for the 27-year-old, according to Il Messaggero.
However, Arsenal are reluctant to depart with the €65m (£55.8m) Lazio president Claudio Lotito is requesting.
Nevertheless, the Gunners are said to be in constant contact with the Serbia international’s agent Mateja Kezman to try and get a deal done.
Meanwhile, Ajax star Lisandro Martinez has allegedly told his club that he wants to quit and move to the Premier League.
Martinez is wanted by both Manchester United and Arsenal to bolster their defence.
The two clubs have both been haggling with the Dutch champions over the centre-back’s transfer fee.
But it is United that appear to be leading the chase after offering just shy of £40m for the Argentina international.
Now both the Red Devils and the Gunners have received a major boost after reports emerged that the 24-year-old has told Ajax he wants to depart for England.
Finally, Paulo Dybala is considering a move to the Premier League this summer.
Dybala officially left Juventus when his contract ran out at the end of last month and is now a free agent.
Inter Milan have been heavily linked with a swoop for the Argentina international, who met with the club’s vice-president Javier Zanetti just last month.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri have put the forward on stand-by following the return of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
The 28-year-old will now look to the Prem as his next potential destination as Arsenal have been in contact with his agent in a bid to lure him to North London.
Manager Mikel Arteta needs another centre-forward despite the arrival of Gabriel Jesus after he lost both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

United have reportedly tabled a fee just shy of £40m for Martinez.
The Dutch champs’ new director of football Klaas-Jan Huntelaar travelled to London on Saturday to meet with United reps, according to the Mirror.
And after talks with Huntelaar, the Red Devils are said to be confident of beating the Gunners in the race to sign the centre-back.
The Manchester giants have made a bid worth an initial £35.3m, with a further £4.3m available in add-ons.
The total package works out at £39.6m, with the Amsterdam giants reportedly valuing the Argentina international at £43m.
Martinez would rather reunite with former boss Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford than join the Gunners.

Christian Eriksen is set to sign for Manchester United on a free transfer with the Dane having a medical at the club with a three-year deal in place.
Meanwhile, wantaway superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is seemingly on ‘indefinite leave’ from the club after telling them he wants out.
The Portuguese icon has made it clear that he wants to quit and Ronaldo’s agent is reportedly in shock talks with Barcelona despite his Real Madrid legacy.
However, Manchester United are set to sign a minimum of FIVE players this month to soften the Ronaldo blow according to reports.
Frenkie de Jong is one of the top targets, with the Barcelona midfielder’s basic fee agreed, but add-ons appear to still be a point of contention between the two clubs.

    Juventus reach Pogba agreement
Juventus have reached an agreement to re-sign ex-Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba, according to Sky Sports.
Pogba rejoins Juve on a free transfer after running down his United contract in June.
The midfielder spent six years at Old Trafford after his record-breaking transfer in 2016 but struggled to meet expectations.
The France international played the best football of his career during his four-year tenure with the Bianconeri
    Man United ‘lack ambition’
Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club because it lacks ambition.
That’s according to United Stand host Mark Goldbridge, who said on talkSPORT: “This is what Cristiano Ronaldo is doing. It is not good enough for Manchester United.
“The ambition needs to be from the top and it is not there.
“Fans can dress it up as they like, but Ronaldo is leaving because there is a lack of ambition at Manchester United, and I agree with that”

    Ronaldo given ‘indefinite leave’
Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has “effectively been given indefinite leave” after his transfer bombshell.
Ronaldo wasn’t part of the returning crop of players for pre-season training on Monday as he was given extra time off due to family reasons.
United are insisting that the Portugal captain’s absence is genuinely due to personal issues and that he is not for sale.
However, The Telegraph states that it is “unclear” when he will return and that there is doubt over whether he will fly to Asia and Australia on Friday with the rest of the squad for pre-season.
And they also add that it all “effectively amounts to a case of indefinite leave” for the star forward
    Pereira to Fulham
Manchester United outcast Andreas Pereira is set to join Fulham, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano tweeted: “Andreas Pereira to Fulham, here we go!
“Full agreement in place on player side, three year deal with option for further season.
“Manchester United will receive £10m plus £3m add ons, deal was already agreed between clubs last week. Now it’s all set to be done”
    Cristiano Ronaldo stats
Manchester United could actually be better off without Cristiano Ronaldo this coming season.
Ronaldo led the line for most of last season, and despite him topping the individual charts, United only managed to find the net 57 times in the Premier League.
However, the season before the star forward’s arrival last September proved to be much more fruitful as they scored 73 goals in 38 top-flight matches.
You may think that is clutching at straws, but even the Portugal captain’s former club Juventus’ goal output dried up after he moved there.
Juve fired 86 goals in their 2017/2018 Serie A title-winning campaign but in the three years that followed after he joined from Real Madrid that tally dropped to 70, 76 and then 77
    Ron to watch
Manchester United need to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation as soon as possible, according to club legend Gary Neville.
That is because the transfer saga could affect manager Erik ten Hag’s bid of rebuilding the team after a disastrous season.
Neville tweeted: “The only important factor with the Ronaldo situation is that it’s dealt with decisively and quickly.
“This can’t be a saga that takes the focus away from Erik ten Hag bedding in period for the next two months.”

    Murtough on Malacia
Manchester United Football Director John Murtough praised Tyrell Malacia.
Murtough said: “Tyrell is an exciting, dynamic young footballer with excellent experience for his age, including five seasons in the Eredivisie, a European final and full International honours for the Netherlands.
“We look forward to seeing him continue to develop under the guidance of Erik ten Hag and his coaching team in the years ahead.
“Everyone at Manchester United welcomes Tyrell to the club”
    First Dybs for Paulo
Paulo Dybala is considering a move to the Premier League this summer with Manchester United interested.
Dybala left Juventus when his contract expired at the end of last season and is now a free agent with Inter Milan heavily linked with a swoop.
According to Sky Sport Italia, however, the Nerazzurri have put the forward on stand-by after the return of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.
The 28-year-old will now look to the Prem as his next potential destination with United keeping tabs.
The Red Devils are likely to lose Cristiano Ronaldo and need a replacement for Edinson Cavani
    Malacia’s first words
Manchester United signing Tyrell Malacia praised manager Erik ten Hag after being unveiled as the club’s first summer transfer.
Malacia said: “It’s an incredible feeling to have joined Manchester United.
“This is a new chapter for me, a new league with new team-mates and a tremendous manager [Erik ten Hag] leading us.
“I know from playing against his teams in the Eredivisie, the qualities that he has and what he demands of his players.
“Whilst I know that I am still young and will continue to develop, I can promise the United fans that I will leave everything on the pitch every time I pull on the red shirt.
“I’ll always be thankful to Feyenoord for all they have given to me and my family.
“None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for them. Now I’m ready to focus on the future with United, and help my new club achieve success”
    Ronaldo wages slashed
Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly “upset” that his wages have been cut by 25 per cent.
United’s failure to qualify for the Champions League has resulted in reduction across the board at Old Trafford.
And the salary slash is one of the reasons Ronaldo has sensationally asked to leave the Red Devils, according to Manchester Evening News.
Sources suggest the 37-year-old is “upset” his wages next season will drop by a quarter.
The star forward penned a contract worth £480,000-a-week when he made an emotional return to United last year.
That will now go down to a basic weekly salary of £360,000

Laporta said: “There are clubs that want him, not just United. We have no intention of selling him, he wants to stay.
“Frenkie is considered as one of the best midfielders in the world by all the experts. We are happy to have him.
“I’m going to do everything I can in my power so that Frenkie stays here, but there’s also a salary issue and that would have to be adjusted”
    Cristiano Ronaldo EXCLUSIVE
Chelsea are having internal differences regarding a potential swoop for Manchester United’s wantaway superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to SunSport’s Andy Dillon, new Blues owner Todd Boehly is a huge fan of Ronaldo but must now convince manager Thomas Tuchel to go for him.
Tuchel and Boehly are set to hold talks on whether to follow up with a firm bid for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner or invest in other positions.
The German head coach thinks Manchester City star Raheem Sterling and defenders are the priority after losing key centre-backs.
But the American businessman wants a marquee signing to launch his regime after taking over last month
    Ronaldo linked with Barcelona
Manchester United’s wantaway star Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a shock move to Barcelona.
Ronaldo wants to leave United and Barca have emerged as a possible destination.

Sharpe told bettors.ng: “But like I said, Luke Shaw is one of the best left-backs in the world on his day.
“If he can have a good pre-season, and get himself properly fit and be up for the challenge, I still think he’ll be the No1 left-back.
“To surmise, [Alex] Telles will be looking for a trip out on loan or maybe a sale to somewhere else because I think he will go to third in the pecking order”

“He [Malacia] looks highly talented, really quick, really good defender, loves going forward”
    Christian Eriksen confirmed
Former Tottenham star Christian Eriksen’s transfer to Manchester United has been reportedly confirmed.
United have drawn up a contract that Erkisen needs to sign before the switch is complete, Fabrizio Romano reported on Twitter.

The Denmark international’s contract will see him remain at Old Trafford for a three-year period
    Malacia transfer reminder
Manchester United have completed the signing of Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.

“He loves it in England and he also knows he is admired here for what he has done in the past”
    Pochettino wants Maur
Mauricio Pochettino is targeting a Premier League return after his dismissal as Paris Saint-Germain manager.
Pochettino is already eyeing the next major vacancy in the Prem as he prepares for a quick comeback to top flight football.
The ex-Tottenham boss has retained his home in London even after being sacked by Spurs in 2019.
Chairman Daniel Levy was keen on bringing the Argentine back to N17 last summer only for Poch to stay on in Paris.
With Antonio Conte now installed and in command at Tottenham, the door appears closed.
But while his love for Spurs means Pochettino would rule out the prospect of joining Arsenal if Mikel Arteta was shown the door, SunSport understands he would be willing to consider any other ambitious and serious Prem outfit
    Lisandro Martinez demand
Ajax star Lisandro Martinez has allegedly told his club that he wants to quit the club and move to the Premier League.
Martinez is wanted by both Manchester United and Arsenal to bolster their backlines.
The two clubs have both been haggling with the Amsterdam giants over his transfer fee.
But it is the United that appear to be leading the chase after offering just shy of £40million for the centre-back.
Now both the Red Devils and the Gunners have received a major boost after reports emerged that the Argentina international has told Ajax he wants to depart for England
    Lisandro Martinez bidding war
Manchester United are confident of beating Arsenal to signing Lisandro Martinez after meeting with Ajax chiefs.
According to The Athletic, United have “edged ahead as favourites” to land the 24-year-old for around £35m
    Arsenal insist on Milinkovic-Savic
Arsenal, though, are still persistent in the transfer pursuit of Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Gunners reportedly had a €55million (£47.2m) offer for Milinkovic-Savic rebuffed as the Serie A side wanted more cash.
But the North Londoners are preparing to issue a new and improved bid for the midfielder, according to Il Messaggero.
However, Arsenal are reluctant to depart with the €65m (£55.8m) Lazio president Claudio Lotito is demanding.
Although the Gunners are said to be in constant contact with the Serbia international’s agent Mateja Kezman to try and get a deal done
    Arsenal prioritise Tielemans
Arsenal are pressing ahead with plans to sign a new midfielder this summer.
And the Gunners are prioritising Leicester star Youri Tielemans for the role ahead of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Fabrizio Romano.
That’s because Tielemans will cost the Gunners 40million less than Milinkovic-Savic.
The Belgium international’s contract expires in 2023, which means the Foxes could be open to letting him go on the cheap now.

    Man United transfer fears revealed
Man United are unlikely to prise fourth spot from Arsenal next season.
That’s according to United Stand host Mark Goldbridge who reckons the Gunners’ transfer business will put them above Man United, who’ve had a quiet window in comparison.
He said on talkSPORT: “Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have got top four nailed on for me.
“So it is Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester United and any other teams that has a good season going for fourth.
“That is the limit, and that is not Erik ten Hag’s fault. With this transfer window, and what Spurs and Arsenal are doing, it could be fifth or sixth, and that is never good enough.”
    Arsenal plan new transfer bid
Arsenal are remaining persistent in the transfer pursuit of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Gunners reportedly had a €55 million offer for the Lazio midfielder rebuffed as the Italian side wanted more cash.
But the North Londoners are preparing to issue a new and improved bid for Milikkovic-Savic, according to Il Messaggero.
However, the Gunners are reluctant to depart with the €65 million Lazio president Claudio Lotito is demanding, the report adds.
Although the Gunners are said to be in constant contact with Milinkovic’s agent Mateja Kezman to try and get a deal done.
Arteta speaks on dressing room plans
Mikel Arteta wants to create his own United Nations at Arsenal after vowing to crack down on any dressing-room cliques, MARK IRWIN WRITES.
“I don’t want any Brazilian group and I don’t want a Portuguese group.
“The important thing for me is that they unite with the entire squad. I want a team that is fully integrated so they can build a strong and trusting relationship between each other.
“Obviously you will have more chemistry between some players than between others and it’s important for new players to have somebody they have already spent time with who understands your culture.
“But for sure we will promote that integration between all of them.”
    Then there was three
Gabriel Jesus can’t wait to share the pitch with his Arsenal namesakes next season.
Jesus’ arrival at The Emirates makes him the third Gabriel, along with Martinelli and Magalhães.
And the ex-Man City striker is itching to play alongside both Gabriels, whom he also shares Brazilain heritage with.
He said to Arsenal’s media: “Now it’s three! There’s a lot of jokes with us now, but they are very good guys.
“I’m so happy for them because they deserve to be in a big club like Arsenal, and they did so well last season. I’m so happy to be here with them.”
    Arsenal’s business savvy praised
Arsenal’s shrewd business deals have been praised by club legend Alan Smith.
He said to Sky Sports: “The good thing about Arsenal’s recruitment now is that they are signing players without too much media fanfare.
“For example, we did hear about Jesus but when we did hear they were already quite far down the line in terms of securing his signature.
“Then there was Fabio Vieira from Porto. Nobody saw that one coming either and the best recruitment teams at clubs are able to do that.
“They do a lot of work behind the scenes, maybe even six months to a year in the build-up to signing a player, but they do it without too much fanfare or drama.
“That points to a department of the club that is really functioning well and it’s really encouraging that they have got that side of things working well because it was a bit of a mess a few years back. Now Edu and Arteta are on the same page, they agree what is needed and that relationship is vital.”
    Gakpo urged to snub Prem
Arsenal transfer target Cody Gakpo has been urged to stay with PSV Eindhoven by team-mate Luuk de Jong,
De Jong reckons Gakpo can flourish at PSV for another season before taking the plunge elsewhere.
He told Voetbal International: “I used to talk to him in the past, I also did it for the Dutch national team and I still do it.
“I saw him come in and see him make strides. When he came, the talent was already there.
“I think he can have another very good season, finish it by winning the league and then take a nice step.”
    Arsenal ‘prioritise Tielemans transfer’
Arsenal are pressing ahead with plans to bring in a new midfielder this summer.
And the Gunners are prioritising Leicester City man Youri Tielemans for the role, ahead of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Fabrizio Romano.
That’s because the Belgium international will cost the Gunners 40m less than Milinkovic-Savic, the report adds.
Tielemans’ contract with Leicester City expires in 2023, which means the Foxes could be open to letting him go on the cheap now.
Whilst Lazio are demanding £68m for Milinkovic-Savic, the report claims.
    Jovic set for Fiorentina transfer
Luka Jovic is set to join Fiorentina on a two-year deal, according to reports.
The striker, 24, signed for Real Madrid three years ago in a huge £52million move from Eintracht Frankfurt.
But he failed to make an impression, scoring just three goals in 51 appearances for Los Blancos.
As a result, the club have decided to let him go on a free transfer despite the fact he still has three years remaining on his contract.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina have agreed to sign Jovic on a permanent deal.
The two clubs originally discussed the prospect of a loan, but Real Madrid decided to negotiate a 50 per-cent sell-on clause instead.
Jovic is set to have a medical this week before finalising the move which will see him sign on until June 2024 with the option for two additional years.
    Arsenal staff member leaves club
Arsenal have lost their Head of Academy Performance Tony Strudwick to West Brom.
Strudwick has left the Gunners to become the Baggies’ new Director of Medical.
Upon bringing in Strudwick, West Brom’s Chief executive Ron Gourlay, said, via Birmingham Mail: “We are delighted to have Tony at the football club.
“He is one of the very best in his field of expertise and arrives at the club with an incredible CV. Tony is highly respected within football.
“We believe his appointment will strengthen the medical and sports science departments which he will oversee.
“His appointment is another positive step in improving standards across the football club as we ready ourselves to take on the challenges ahead.”
    Arsenal defender joins Portsmouth
Portsmouth have signed defender Zak Swanson from Arsenal.
The 21-year-old penned a two-year deal with Pompey, with a 12-month extension option.
But the transfer fee for the move is yet to be revealed, the BBC reported.
Swanson’s been at Arsenal since the age of six, but couldn’t get into the first team.
    Saka tipped for Arsenal stay
Bukayo Saka will not be leaving Arsenal this summer.
That’s according to Arsenal legend Kevin Campbell who said to Highbury Squad: “He is already under contract. These things are not just going to get done in a couple of months.
“These things could take six months, but Arsenal are not, trust me, they are not going to sell Saka in this window. No chance. No chance.”
    Dybala ‘seeks Premier League switch’
Paulo Dybala is reportedly considering a move to the Premier League this summer.
The 28-year-old officially left Juventus when his contract expired at the end of last month, so he is now a free agent.
Inter Milan have been heavily linked with a swoop for the Argentina international, who met with the club’s vice-president Javier Zanetti last month.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, the Black and Blues have put Dybala on stand-by following the return of Romelu Lukaku.
Arsenal have reportedly been in contact with the Argentine’s agent in a bid to lure him to North London.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are eager to bring Dybala to Old Trafford.
    Martinez makes quit demand
Lisandro Martinez has allegedly told Ajax that he wants to quit the club and move to the Premier League.
The centre-back, 24, is wanted by both Manchester United and Arsenal to bolster their backlines.
The two clubs have both been haggling with Ajax over his transfer fee.
But it is the Red Devils that appear to be leading the chase after offering just shy of £40million for the Argentinian international.
Now both they and Arsenal have received a major boost after reports emerged that Martinez has told his employers he wants to depart for England.
    He’s a fab signing
New Arsenal signing Fabio Vieira embodies the way Mikel Arteta wants the club to play, he revealed.
Arteta said: “In the case of Fabio, again, a talent that when I started to look at him, I said, ‘This is the type of player that I feel represents the way I want to play and the type of player we should have.”
“I was on the phone with him, Edu was on the phone with him and we were all really impressed with his maturity at his age, because it’s not long ago that he’s made his debut with Porto.
“But again, he fits in our model, the way we want to play, the project that we are in and I’m really excited with him as well.”
    Arteta on Matt Turner
Mikel Arteta has revealed why he chose to snap up keeper Matt Turner.
The Arsenal boss told the club’s media: “Matt is a deal we did in January. We identified the possibility to strengthen the team in a position we believe was necessary.
“You will get to know him, a great character, a really special person with qualities in that goalkeeping area that we don’t have, he’s going to make the group and the team better.”
    Jesus and Richarlison debate
Gabriel Jesus will bag more goals for Arsenal next season than Tottenham’s new recruit Richarlison.
That’s according to football pundit Tony Cascarion, who told the Daily Mail: “I think Gabriel Jesus ticks a lot more boxes and they’ve got him at a better price.
“If you said to me now who will get the most goals, I’d say Gabriel Jesus would get more goals than Richarlison for Tottenham.
“And he’s more versatile than Richarlison. Gabriel Jesus has played left-wing, right-wing, and centre-forward for Man City.”
    Arteta shares Jesus excitement
Mikel Arteta has spoken of his excitement after sealing the signing on Gabriel Jesus.
    He said: “I’m very excited.
The club has done a tremendous job to recruit a player of this stature. I know Gabriel personally very well, and we all know him well from his time in the Premier League and being really successful here.
“This is a position that’s been on our radar for a long time now and we have managed to get a player that we all wanted, so I’m really happy.”
    ‘No chance’ of Gabriel leaving
Arsenal legend Kevin Campbell has poured cold water on reports linking Gabriel with Juventus.
The defender has been linked with a £23m swoop for the defender.
But Campbell’s adamant that Gabriel will remain at Arsenal for the upcoming season.
He said to the Highbury Squad YouTube channel when asked about the possibility of Gabriel’s exit: “No chance. I am just telling you, no chance.”
    Jesus makes ambition clear
New Arsenal signing Gabriel Jesus has revealed he’s joined the club to score goals.
He also referenced where he feels his best position is on the pitch.
Jesus said, via Arseblog: “I’m the number 9! I’m a striker, you know. I can play in three or four different positions, but I think my position is 9.
“I have come to score goals.”

But officials from his new club Zulte have now admitted they have no idea where the atticking midfielder is and his future remains up in the air after his disappearance.
The club’s chief executive, Eddy Cordier said: “When will Charly Musonda return to training? I don’t know. Will he ever come back? No idea.
“I don’t know whether we will pull the plug on him because he hasn’t been in since he trained a couple of weeks ago and there has been no contact.
“It’s more important that we concentrate on the group of players who are here at the club for pre-season”
    Seal the deal
Chelsea are hoping to secure Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt or Manchester City ace Nathan Ake this week.
According to the Evening Standard, De Ligt and Ake are the two players the Blues are in negotiations with.
The West Londoners had swap deals involving the likes of Jorginho and Timo Werner for the Juve centre-back rejected by the Serie A giants, who are adamant they want £103million.
If Chelsea do fail in their pursuit of the Netherlands international then they may turn to their former defender Ake
    Neymar and Ronaldo offered

    Ziyech tipped for Everton transfer
Hakim Ziyech will be a great signing for Everton, according to Kevin Campbell.
He told Goodison News: “I think he’s a quality player, definitely a quality player.
“For the package, what it’s going to be, I don’t know.
“I think Everton have got quite a few needs and for me Hakim Ziyech isn’t a big need right now.
“Obviously he’s a quality player but fixing that midfield, getting some defenders in, I think that’s really the priority.
“And probably another forward with obviously Richarlison gone, they’re going to need another forward in to help Dominic Calvert-Lewin.”
    Let ‘bad apple Ronaldo leave’
Man United have been urged to grant ‘bad apple’ Cristiano Ronaldo his wish and let him leave the club.
The damning verdict was issued by ex-Chelsea star Craig Burley.
Burley told ESPN amid reports linking Ronaldo with Chelsea: “[Apparently] there will be a few tears shed in the Manchester United dressing room if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves… Really?’
“Trust me, the only tears shed will be from fans at the fact that half of these wannabees are at the club.
“The fact that he allegedly was a bit divisive last year on arrival at the club, I think that’s merely down to the fact that the standards were awful. I can understand that frustration.
“I think Manchester United have to get him out. He’s not the future. You can’t have a bad apple, a divisive player and one that doesn’t want to be there.”
    Jorginho set to renew contract
Jorginho has no intention of leaving Chelsea anytime soon.
That’s according to his agent Joao Santos who declared the Italy national will begin contract talks with the Blues in September.
Mendes said. via the Metro: “Chelsea are the priority.
“His contract will expire in 2023, I think we will talk about the renewal from September.”

Man City should be doing everything in their power to keep Raheem Sterling out of Chelsea’s clutches.
That’s according to Anton Ferdinand who told Sky Sports: “Me personally, if I’m Man City, I’m keeping him.
“I would try everything I can to tie him down to a new contract. He’s a fantastic player, he’s also a consistent performer and someone who has done it over the years in the Premier League.
“So, for Man City to be wanting to or happy to get rid of him, that shocks me.
“But as we know, they’ve got an abundance of depth in them areas of the pitch. If he goes, then they’ve got someone of great quality to come in and take his place.”
    Chelsea starlet opts to stay
Chelsea starlet Ian Maatsen has reportedly turned down transfer advances from Feyenoord.

    Chelsea want defender ‘this week’
Chelsea are keen to wrap up the signing of either Matthijs de Ligt or Nathan Ake this week.
The Blues have been tracking both stars as they look to revamp their defence.
And the Standard claim Chelsea plan to unveil atleast one of the pair in the coming days.
Although recruiting De Ligt is proving to be difficult as AC Milan also want the Juventus centre back.
Plus, Ake is the cheaper option as Juve want around £85m for De Ligt, it was added.
    Newcastle plan double transfer swoop
Newcastle are looking to raid Chelsea for starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi, reports claim.
The Magpies want to boost their attacking line with the Blues winger, according to 90min.

The Toon also want to bring in Everton ace Anthony Gordon along with Hudson-Odoi, it was added.
    AC Milan ‘consider Ziyech transfer’
AC Milan are mulling over whether to mount a bid for Chelsea ace Hakim Ziyech.

Juventus ‘want De Ligt bidding war’
Juventus are reportedly hoping to spark a bidding war for defender Matthijs De Ligt.
Chelsea are in pole postion to land the defender, but Juve are trying to hold out for another offer for De Ligt, according to Corriere dello Sport.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who claim Chelsea’s offer of around £64m hasn’t impressed Juve, who want closer to £85m for the Dutch centre-back.
And the Old Lady are hoping Liverpool, Man City, or PSG will enter the fray for De Ligt, the report adds.
    Have some of that
Kai Havertz and girlfriend Sophia Weber shared a kiss on the beach as they enjoyed a romantic getaway to glitzy Saint-Tropez.
The loved-up couple piled on the PDA on Monday before Havertz heads back for pre-season training with Chelsea.
Havertz, 23, is expected to arrive back at the Blues’ Cobham training base in the next few days alongside the rest of the squad who played internationally last month.
Boss Thomas Tuchel and Co are due to fly to the USA for their pre-season tour on July 9.

The couple headed down to the waterfront and kissed each other on the lips as they stood on rocks by the sea.

    Chelsea chase Pavard
Chelsea have reportedly joined the transfer hunt for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.
The Blues are seeking defensive reinforcements since the departures of Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen.
And the Blues have identified Parvard as an ideal addition to their back four, according to Sky Sports Germany.
However, the West Londoners face competition from Atletico Madrid and Juventus, the report adds.
    Burstow completes first training session
Chelsea starlet Mason Burstow beamed with pride after completing his first transfer session with the club.
The Blues bagged Burstow from Charlton on January’s transfer deadline day.
But he remained at Charlton until the season concluded.
And now, the 18-year-old has joined his new team-mates on the training ground for the first time.
He said on a pic of him in the Blues kit flunked by his comrades: “First session with the first team.”
    Cech exit sparks transfer concern
Chelsea’s first transfer signing of the summer could be on the verge of collapsing due to Petr Cech’s departure.
Cech’s exit that has left the potential transfer deal for 18-year-old American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina in jeopardy.
That is according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
He tweeted: “Chelsea had a verbal agreement to purchase Chicago Fire goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina for €10M.
“However, following the departure of Petr Cech, it remains to be seen as to whether the deal could collapse. He was ‘really close’ to joining in January.”
    Baxter returns to Hull
Chelsea stopper Nathan Baxter has returned to Hull City on loan.
The 23-year-old spent last season with The Tigers, and now they’ve announced he’ll spend next term there too.
And the deal is set to be permanent as the loan includes an option to buy.
    Sterling transfer ‘nears completion’
Chelsea and Man City are reportedly close to agreeing on a transfer fee over Raheem Sterling.
Negotiations between the Prem clubs have been ongoing, but now there’s been positive developments, according to Sky Sports.
An agreement over Sterling is imminent, and a deal will be completed if he can agree personal terms with the Blues, the report adds.
If that’s the case, he’ll likely earn more at Stamford Bridge than he currently brings in with City.
    Ronaldo given ‘indefinite leave’
Cristiano Ronaldo has “effectively been given indefinite leave” by Manchester United after his transfer bombshell.
Ronaldo, 37, wasn’t part of the returning crop of players for pre-season training on Monday as he was given extra time off due to family reasons.
United are insisting that his absence is genuinely due to personal issues and that he is not for sale.
However, The Telegraph states that it is “unclear” when he will return and that there is doubt over whether he will fly to Asia and Australia on Friday with the rest of the squad for the club’s pre-season tour.
And they also add that it all “effectively amounts to a case of indefinite leave” for the United star.
    Internal indifference over Ronaldo transfer
Chelsea’s stunning move for Cristiano Ronaldo still needs a thumbs-up from Thomas Tuchel.
New Blues chairman Todd Boehly is a huge fan of the Portuguese superstar — but must now convince boss Tuchel to go for him.
Boehly wants a marquee signing to launch his regime after taking over last month in a £4.25billion deal.
Manchester United striker Ronaldo, 37, is seen as the big name to do that, after he told Old Trafford chiefs he wants out.
Tuchel and Boehly are now set to hold talks on whether to follow up with a firm bid for Ronaldo — or invest elsewhere in the squad.
    Ronaldo ‘linked with Barcelona’
Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a shock move to Barcelona, according to reports.
The Portuguese attacker wants to leave United, and Barca have emerged as a possible destination for him.
And his agent Jorge Mendes has linked up with Barca chief Joan Laporta to speak about a deal, AS claim.
Chelsea are another club Ronaldo’s been linked with.
    Chelsea in De Ligt blow
Bayern Munich are reportedly set to pip Chelsea to the signing of Matthijs de Ligt with the Juventus preferring the Bavarian outfit.
Chelsea are known to be admirers of the 22-year-old as Thomas Tuchel looks to bolster his defence having seen Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen depart as free agents.
The Blues are reported to have had a £34m offer plus either Timo Werner or Christian Pulisic turned down by the Serie A outfit.
And they now look set to miss out altogether as Bayern eye up a deal.
According to Sky Sport reporter Florian Plettenberg, De Ligt has his eyes set on a switch to the Allianz Arena following talks with the club’s boss Julian Nagelsmann and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.
Though he stressed that Juve could seek as much as £69million in order to part ways with the player.
