They can be crowned Premier League winners with three points against Chelsea on Sunday.
And finals in the FA Cup and Champions League are yet to come as Manchester United and Inter Milan bid to thwart their treble ambitions.
Man City’s sensational end to the campaign comes after Neville debated the point earlier in the season that they were not at their very best.
Now they are firing on all cylinders, Conor Humm, a junior assistant producer at Sky Sports, has called Neville out regarding his comments.

He said: “Gary Neville said Manchester City weren’t at their usual level this season.
“They’re about to surpass his club’s greatest ever season and do it in a far more impressive way.”
A startled Neville replied on Thursday morning, saying: “You okay? They weren’t at their usual level. What a weird point to make.
“Tag me in by the way if you work at Sky. Don’t be shy.”

Humm then made the decision to delete his account.
This led to another Twitter user calling out the Man Utd legend, saying: “Gary Neville biting back at 5:38am from a tweet he wasn’t even tagged in and mentioning Connor’s place of work is pretty wild.”
But Neville did not back down as he responded: “Biting 😂 (really). Wild 😂 (hardly). 5.38 😂 (it’s when I get up). It came up on my for you function! As did your reply!!
“If he works at Sky then tag me in. Easy for people to have a little dig at me but not ok for me to go back?”
During the second half of the season, Neville has repeatedly backed Man City to catch Arsenal and win the Premier League title.
And they are now champions in waiting as they look to wrap up the league at the Etihad this weekend.
Last month, Neville admitted he was fearing a Man City treble.
He said: “They’re purring, they’re playing well, they’re in great form, they’re serious now about it [the treble].” More

The 56-year-old claimed “it hurts” Tyler to see Arsenal win a game of football, while he suggested Neville “has a problem”.
Keown told Jim White and Simon Jordan: “How biased is the Sky Sports commentary team? It is frightening.
“Martin Tyler is a great professional, but he cannot hide that it hurts him that Arsenal might win a game of football.
“Honestly, we know Neville has a problem, he is almost apologising.

“‘Have I lost my mind? We should be sending [Gabriel] Martinelli off’? Not at all, you go with your instinct.
“So, there we are, it is a poke in the eye to a commentator. I should be more respectful, Martin is a great commentator, but please Sky, don’t put him on the Arsenal games anymore. It is a really hard listen.
“We talked about it off air and certain people were pushing me to say it. I didn’t really want to come here with that.”
Host White hit back by saying: “Nobody pushed you to say it.”

With Jordan, adding: “You lassoed me out there asking about Martin Tyler and Gary Neville.”
Keown responded: “Tell me then, get the Arsenal fans as they’ve got to listen to it. There’s only 60,000 in the stadium but there’s millions of us at home.”
Asked to say certainly whether he believed Neville to be anti-Arsenal, Keown declared: “Yes I do, let’s get it out there.”
Despite having his doubters for much of the season, Neville was insistent in his belief Arsenal would not win the title – providing seven reasons why it all went so wrong for them during the run-in.
And following the 3-0 defeat to Brighton, which marks a run which has seen Arsenal win just two of their last seven league games, Manchester City are now on course to wrap up the title next week.
The Gunners know a loss at Nottingham Forest will see the title go to City, while City can secure the title regardless of the Gunners’ result with a win against Chelsea.
A horror stat has also emerged relating to the North Londoners title plight, with Mikel Arteta’s side on top for 93 per cent of the season.
This is a new record, eclipsing Arsenal’s own record from the 2002/03 season when they were top for 71 per cent of the campaign before losing out to Manchester United. More

Tottenham fans fuming at Sky Sports after leaving out former star from midfielders’ goals graphic

The graphic claims the Norwegian has scored the most Premier League goals in one season by a midfielder, not including penalties.
Odegaard has netted 15 times, with none of his strikes coming from the spot this term.
Sky claim it puts him ahead of the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Paul Scholes, Yaya Toure and Frank Lampard.
However, TWO players have been bizarrely missed off the graphic.

Ex-Spurs star Dele Alli netted 18 goals in the 2016/17 season, with just one penalty goal.
And Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier scored 25 times during the 1993/94 campaign, with six strikes coming from 12 yards.

It means both Alli and Le Tissier should be ahead of Odegaard, leaving fans raging.
One Tottenham supporter said: “Just doesn’t fit their agenda.”

Another reacted: “Bias as per usual.”
Others speculated it was because Alli and Le Tissier both played close to strikers that year and could be classed as forwards or second strikers.
While more thought it was to show who Odegaard was ahead of rather than claim he was top of the pile.

Jones was sacked by the Saints after just 14 games with the club at the bottom of the Premier League.
During his short tenure, he caught a lot of attention with his answers in press conferences as he suggested he had “compromised on principles” while at the club.
He also claimed he was one of the best managers in Europe, despite losing most of his games.
When asked if he would have kept Southampton in the Premier League, he told Sky Sports: “That is something that whatever I answer, it is a bit of a loaded question.

On his next job, Jones admitted that he is hoping to have a long-term spot at one club so he can “build”.

He said: “I’m a builder. I like to be at places for a long time.
“Ironically, I believe that our work is deep and not just results based, if you look at my previous club we built something that was not dependent on a manager.
“I don’t like to chop and change, if I do choose a project or one comes for me, then it is one that I have to be able to do good work in.”
When asked if Luton were “massively different” to when he left the club, Jones replied: “No, I don’t at all.
“I think there will be subtle changes, the formation, the personnel and the types of clean sheets. It was just based on structure.”
And fans were left in disbelief at the Welshman’s answers, as one fan sarcastically said: “Wait if he had won games he would have kept them up? The guy’s a genius.”
Another declared: “You don’t get the results. You get the sack. There is no ifs, buts, maybes. You didn’t get the results and you got the sack.”
A third joked: “If my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike.”
A fourth said: “But he didn’t get results an alienated the fan base with his comments , even Luton don’t miss him.”
A fifth tweeted: “This guy is unreal 🤣 if I got the results just wth as you didn’t get the results if he was as good as he tries to claim he would have got the results.”

Jones was reportedly on a contract worth £1.25m at the Saints and he is set to receive payment for all of the three-and-a-half years he was expected to stay.

The option would come into effect for the next rights cycle between 2025 and 2028, according to the Daily Mail.
This season has seen complaints from supporters that have not been able to watch some matches that had been rescheduled and played in vacant broadcast slots.
Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in March was not shown despite kicking off in Sky Sports’ 2pm broadcast slot because of the FA Cup draw.
The broadcaster was not permitted to show the game, leaving fans with a Sunday afternoon without televised football on the channel.

Two Manchester United matches against Brentford and Leeds have not been televised despite being played on mid-week evenings after being rescheduled.
A number of Premier League clubs are believed to have criticised the system which has been touted as “outdated”.
This is thought to have been heard by the Premier League as it is expected to include a way for broadcasters to purchase more games when it launches the UK rights tender in October.
England’s top division is expected to follow the EFL by selling more matches for the 2025/26 to the 2027/28 campaigns.

The report suggests that the number of games available will increase from 200 to between 260 and 280.
The traditional blackout between 2.45pm and 5.15pm is expected to remain.
However, the increase of televised fixtures would see fewer and fewer games kick off at 3pm on a Saturday.
It is thought that on average there would only be three games in that slot for the Premier League’s 34 weekend rounds. More

The 70-year-old held back tears during his Sky farewell appearance at the end of April after he was given a round of applause in the studio.
Sky Sports confirmed that they had mutually agreed with Souness  that he would be stand down from his role as a pundit on the end of his contract after 15 years with the broadcaster.
Sky Sports posted a tribute video to Twitter of Souness over the years, thanking him for his time as a pundit.
But writing in his blog, disgraced former Sky host Keys claims to have spoken to a “Sky insider”, and alleged the broadcaster chose to axe Souness following his comments following the Chelsea vs Spurs game.

Keys said: “It turns out it was decided to dispense with Graeme’s services the moment he referred to football being a ‘man’s game’.
“Remember? He used that phrase after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw v Spurs in August. His comments caused a bit of a stir. He was clumsy in his phraseology. He didn’t mean harm, but you can’t say that anymore.
“Football is simply a game – enjoyed by everyone. And we should celebrate that.
“I think most people felt that Graeme had been clumsy and he’s a much loved character, so they were happy to give him the benefit of the doubt – but senior management at Sky certainly weren’t.

Keys comments come after, writing for the Daily Mail, Souness said he remains “open for business”.
Souness originally said on Sky last August: “It’s a man’s game all of a sudden again.”
He added: “Men at it, blow for blow, and the referee letting them get on with it.”
Speaking about the end of his punditry career with Sky last month, Souness said: “I’m going to miss you guys, the guys behind the scenes, our makeup girl, I’ll miss you all.
“You know, for me, I decided that football management wasn’t for me anymore. I had the wrong temperament for it, the wrong personality.
“And then I was given the opportunity to do this and it’s been magnificent. It’s just been the most fantastic time for me, because I love football, I care about football and I worry about it going forward.
“But in Sky’s hands, it’s in good hands, safe hands, and I think over the years we’ve created a Premier League with great detail and I think we look after football very well.”
Sky Sports director of football Gary Hughes paid tribute to Souness as he said: ‘We will miss Graeme’s no-nonsense approach in the studio – matched only by his playing style.”
Keys left Sky Sports in January 2011 after making derogatory comments about women.
Keys, 66, was caught on camera asking pundit Jamie Redknapp if he had slept with an ex by asking him, “Did you smash it?”.

After Man City recorded back-to-back wins, the North London giants’ supporters faced an anxious afternoon.
And that wouldn’t have been helped by who was providing the analysis ahead of the big match.
Gooners would have been disappointed to have seen William Gallas standing alongside David Jones for the coverage.
They certainly took to Twitter to voice their complaints – with one calling him “one of our worst ever signings”.

A third posted: “You may as well Adebayor.”
William Gallas signed for Arsenal in 2006 in a swap deal that saw Ashley Cole move to Stamford Bridge.
But, he would prove an unpopular figure towards the end of his career at the Emirates.
Many Arsenal fans never forgave him for a public display of emotion in a 2–2 draw against Birmingham City in 2008 – a game the Gunners ended up drawing in the final moments and saw Gallas refuse to leave the pitch in disgust.
The Gunners lost momentum in the title race, with the finger pointed at the defender for disrupting team harmony.
Then in 2010, with the club at a standoff over a new contract, Gallas did the unthinkable and signed a contract with Spurs.
In the game, Arsenal kept their title hopes alive with a 2-0 win against the Champions League-chasing Magpies.
