Jude Bellingham at Dortmund training ground as 17-year-old signs five-year deal and seals £23m transfer from Birmingham

JUDE BELLINGHAM arrived at Borussia Dortmund’s training ground as he signed a five-year deal to seal his £23million transfer from Birmingham.
The 17-year-old snubbed interest from Manchester United as well as Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Jude Bellingham arrived at Borussia Dortmund’s training ground as he signed a five-year deal
Bellingham is said to have been swayed by Dortmund’s history of building stars and the chance to be a regular starter in Germany’s top flight.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the teen sensation completed his medical and signed until 2025.
Bellingham is free to sign a pro contract having turned 17 on June 30.
Despite being shown around United’s training ground by Sir Alex Ferguson in March, the player and his family feel Dortmund will be a better place for him to flourish.

United also saw the German giants pip them to Norwegian striker Erling Haaland at the start of the year.
Dortmund have all but landed England prospect  Bellingham on the cheap, having seen their initial £30m January offer rejected by Birmingham.
Two months later, Dortmund, United and Chelsea were all  prepared to pay £35m with a  further £15m in add-ons.

But the coronavirus crisis has had a major impact on transfers fees, meaning Birmingham accepted £23m.

Playmaker Bellingham became the Championship club’s youngest player at 16 years and 38 days in the Carabao Cup last August.
He has scored four goals and bagged three assists from 41 games in all competitions for the Blues this season.

Man Utd could be stuck with Alexis Sanchez with winger REFUSING to take pay cut… and it is set to cost club £50m

MANCHESTER UNITED could be stuck with Alexis Sanchez next season with the winger reportedly refusing to take a pay cut.
The Chilean, who is due back at Old Trafford on August 7 when his loan deal at Inter Milan expires, still had nearly two years remaining on his £25million-a-year contract.

According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez’s refusal to take a pay cut on his £505,000-a-week salary will be a major stumbling block to securing another move
The report claims that the 31-year-old also wants to stay in Europe rather than play in China or the Middle East.
Sanchez is keen on extending his stay in Italy after a mixed campaign on loan at Inter.
Sanchez scored just his second goal of the Serie A season last week, netting the second in a 6-0 win over bottom-placed Brescia.

But the former Barcelona forward, who speaks Italian, is settled at the San Siro alongside former United team-mates Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young.
And boss Antonio Conte would like to keep Sanchez, but Inter are reluctant to cough up an £18m transfer.
The Italians have been paying half of the winger’s £300k-a-week basic salary this season.
But United risk being stuck shelling out the full burden with Sanchez’s contract running until June 30, 2022.

Inter chief Beppe Marrotta confirmed last month that the club want to keep Sanchez while also attempting to land extensions for Victor Moses and Ivan Perisic.
He told Sky Sports: “This is a great regulatory anomaly that needs to be resolved because we are still dealing with Chelsea and Manchester United today to try to extend their loans.
“It is not a beautiful thing. We are also dealing with Bayern Munich over Ivan Perisic.”

His impressive performances have earned him a regular place in Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad – as well as admiring glances from Old Trafford.
According to Italian outlet Corriere Fiorentino, the Red Devils are “very close” to meeting Fiorentina’s £60m valuation for the forward.
Yet the report adds that United will need to be “extra convincing” if they want to secure Chiesa’s signature.
The youngster and his dad have “always made it clear” they are not looking at a transfer abroad.

United are still thought to be leading the pursuit for the 22-year-old following recent interest from Newcastle.
Old Trafford chiefs may see Chiesa as a cheaper alternative to No1 target Jadon Sancho.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be keen on recruiting a new winger, striker and centre-back this summer.

Chiesa has been a regular for Fiorentina this term, scoring seven goals and assisting a further five in 30 appearances for Giuseppe Iachini’s side.

He has been at La Viola throughout his career, joining the club’s academy in 2007 before making his senior debut nine years later.
In making his international debut in 2018, Chiesa followed in father Enrico’s footsteps by representing the Azzurri.
