    Erik ready for Dutch raid
Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag sent scouts to watch two Feyenoord players in action earlier this week, according to reports.
According to The Mirror, he has his sights set on Feyenoord duo Orkun Kokcu and Santiago Gimenez.
Man Utd representatives were in Rotterdam on Wednesday for the KNVB Cup semi-final clash between Ten Hag’s former club Ajax and Feyenoord.
It is understood that they were there to watch Kokcu and Gimenez in action, with both men impressing on the night.
    Unlucky number for summer exits
Man Utd are ready to clear the shelves this summer.
    That’s by ditching a whopping 13 players.
The Mail claims stalwarts like captain Harry Maguire will leave Old Trafford this summer.
And that will open the door for Erik ten Hag to bring in numerous signings who fit his tactics better.

    Exclusive by SunSport’s Jordan Davies
Wolves are still working on a long-term deal for contract rebel Ruben Neves.
The Portuguese midfielder’s deal at Molineux runs out next summer.
However, SunSport understands Wolves are preparing a last-gasp attempt to stop the 26-year-old leaving for a cut-price fee.
Arsenal were previously monitoring the situation, while Manchester United have come close to nabbing the £40m-rated playmaker on two separate occasions.
    No vague interest in Veiga
Man Utd are interested in signing Celta Vigo starlet Gabri Veiga, according to reports.
The Red Devils are “keeping tabs” on the 20-year-old having been impressed by his displays in Spain this season.
Veiga, 20, has bagged nine goals and laid on four assists in 26 LaLiga appearances from midfield this term.
But according to Football Insider, Arsenal are also keen on making a bid and could cough up more cash.
    Supercomputer reveals final Prem table
A Supercomputer has predicted the final Premier League table outcome.
And Man Utd are tipped to secure Champions League football.
It’s reckoned United will finish fourth behind Newcastle to return to Europe’s elite competition.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will pip Man City to the title, and Brighton will reach the Europa League.

    United discover Raya price tag
Man Utd have been told to pay £35million for Brentford goalie David Raya.
The Spaniard is being eyed as a replacement for compatriot David De Gea.
And Fabrizio Romano says Raya has categorically rejected the chance to extend his Bees deal, leading to a potential summer exit.
United will now have to fork over £35m for the gloveman, and also face a battle against Chelsea for his signature.
    Candy Kane sweet for Devils
Man Utd have been given a boost in their pursuit of Harry Kane.
That’s because Bayern Munich admit they may not be able to afford the England captain this summer.
Kane could finally leave Tottenham as he approaches the end of his contract and career.
But Bayern’s chief financial officer Dr Michael Diederich revealed: “I don’t rule anything out but can we afford such a transfer and do we want such a transfer? We have to keep an eye on our profitability.”
    Super Harry on the up
Erik ten Hag believes Harry Maguire is finally proving his worth to Man Utd.
The Dutchman said: “It is not that easy for Harry [to be rotated]. And then if you then deliver the performance he did today, really well done, in and out of possession, dominating and dictating.
“I think this is a different Harry Maguire [to] what I have seen in the first weeks, months.
“He’s taken so much initiative, dominating his opponent, stepping in, bringing passes. So a really great performance from Harry.”

    In for Axe
Man United have reportedly held positive talks with Monaco’s Axel Disasi.
The Mail report that the £44m-rated defender is being tracked by United with an eye on a summer move.
But there are several clubs interested in the 25-year-old.
The Red Devils are believed to be in the market for a centre-back with uncertainty hanging over Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
    Eager for Veiga
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Celta Vigo’s midfielder Gabri Veiga, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked to more high-profile midfielders like Moises Caicedo.
But Football Insider report that they could opt for Veiga, 20, in the summer.
He would represent a cheaper option and has impressed scouts with his performances in La Liga.
    Eriksen Opens Up
Christian Eriksen has lifted the lid on how ended up signing for United last season – and revealed Erik ten Hag had a big influence.
The Dane had appeared content at Brentford as he made his comeback from his heart issues.
But then United swooped and Eriksen said he could not resist the project.
He told United’s in-house podcast: “Well I ended up being at Brentford until the summer obviously and the contract was running out.
“At the time, I wasn’t closed down on going back to Brentford, I wanted to see what else came in or [if] something could tempt me away from how good it was there.
“[I was] speaking to the manager on the phone and then I could actually see myself going to United.
“Luckily, they pulled through [to make the move] and I did as well. So, in the end, coming here was definitely very special.”
    Raya Light
Brentford goalkeeper David Raya will not sign a new deal at the club, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old’s contract expires in the summer of 2024 and Brentford are believed to want £35m to sell him at the end of this season.
The highly-rated Spanish goalie has been linked to Man United and other Premier League big-hitters in recent weeks.
    The Moment
Steve Bruce, Sir Alex Ferguson, Brian Kidd and thousands of United fans inside Old Trafford could barely contain themselves 30 years ago today.
Two late goals for Bruce saw the Red Devils beat Sheffield Wednesday and set themselves on course for the title.
Bruce’s winner was arguably the decisive moment in the 1992-93 title race
    30 Years Ago Today
It’s been 30 years since one of the most famous days in Man United’s Premier League history.
April 10, 1993 saw United beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 with two late goals with Steve Bruce.
The Red Devils were chasing their first title since 1967 in the Prem’s debut season but faced fierce competition from Aston Villa and Norwich.
Bruce’s winner in the 96th minute sparked wild celebrations on the Old Trafford touchline with Sir Alex Ferguson and assistant Brian Kidd losing all composure.
United would go on to claim the league and the comeback against Wednesday was a pivotal moment in the run-in.
    Rashford Watch
Man United fans will anxiously be checking their phones throughout the day as they await updates on Marcus Rashford.
The 25-year-old limped off injured in the final 10 minutes of Saturday’s win over Everton.
The star appeared to be holding his groin as he went off after overstretching for the ball.
An update from the club is expected today and supporters will hope the news is good.
Rashford has provided an overwhelming share of United’s goals in the second-half of the season and has recently moved up front after Erik ten Hag finally dropped the struggling Wout Weghorst.
    The Brighton Duo
Manchester United are believed to still be interested in the Brighton pair of Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister.
Both players have lit up the Premier League since arriving at the Amex and will likely command huge transfer fees.
Caicedo tried to jump ship in January after Arsenal intensified efforts to land him.
While Mac Allister’s stock rose after he played a key part in Argentina’s World Cup win.
    Sevilla Up Next
It’s Europa League action up next for Erik ten Hag’s men as they turn their attentions back to Europe.
It’s the third time in a row United will face Spanish opposition in this competition and the fourth time through the whole tournament.
Apart from a home defeat against Real Sociedad in the group stages, the Red Devils have been comfortable in seeing off the threats from Spain.
And based on current form, Sevilla should not give United too much to worry about.
The six-times Europa League winners are currently sitting 13th, only five points off the relegation zone.
    ‘A Different Harry’
Erik ten Hag has lauded praise on Harry Maguire’s performances as he reflected on his improvement throughout the season.
Following United’s 2-0 win against Everton, the Dutchman told reporters: “It is not that easy for Harry [to be rotated with the other centre-backs].
“And then if you then deliver the performance he did today, really well done, in and out of possession, dominating and dictating.
“I think this is a different Harry Maguire [to] what I have seen in the first weeks, months.
“He’s taken so much initiative, dominating his opponent, stepping in, bringing passes. So a really great performance from Harry.”
    MORNING UTD FANS
Man Utd will learn the full extent of Marcus Rashford’s injury on Monday.
The club’s 28-goal top scorer limped out of the action towards the end of their 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday with what is understood to be a groin injury.
He is likely to be absent from Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg at Old Trafford against Sevilla on Thursday.
But the fear is he could be out for a number of weeks.
In what was his 350th appearance for the club, Rashford pulled up as he stretched to reach a pass from Christian Eriksen.
He immediately signalled to the bench he needed to come off and was replaced in the 81st minute.
Man Utd have key players walking the tightrope of suspension against Sevilla in their Europa League quarter-final clash.
Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro will be suspended for the second leg, if they are booked during next week’s clash.
That means United’s midfield stars will have to watch their tackles or face missing out on the return tie.
Man Utd target Victor Osimhen has dealt the Red Devils a blow by revealing his happiness at Napoli.
The Nigerian striker has been sensational in Serie A – as the Naples giants close in on a historic league title.
And he has spoken to L’Equipe to speak about how much he loves the club.
Man Utd might get a free pass to Harry Kane – with Bayern Munich’s chief financial officer admitting the Bavarians might not be able to afford him.
Dr Michael Diederich revealed: “I don’t rule anything out but can we afford such a transfer and do we want such a transfer? We have to keep an eye on our profitability.”
That will be music to Utd fans’ ears, who are desperate to add a No9 to their squad.

Broadcaster Richard Keys has slammed Erik ten Hag for his criticism of fixture congestion.
United are in the midst of a run of three games in eight days and Keys did not have sympathy with the Dutch boss.
The ex-Sky Sports man said: “Erik, as regards the scheduling and injuries, it’s the English Premier League. If you don’t like it, there is always of course Eredivisie, where you can go and ply your trade.”

    Keane destroys Carragher
Man Utd legend Roy Keane had one word to describe Jamie Carragher’s defending after Micah Richards showed a clip of the Liverpool legend in action.
The Anfield icon was bamboozled by Thierry Henry as the Arsenal hero netted a stunning solo goal in a 4-2 win over the Reds at Highbury in 2004.
Henry left Carragher tripping up over his own feet before coolly slotting into the back of the net.
Showing the clip on Sky Sports, Richards brutally joked: “Jamie’s always talking about body positions, and I just want to look at your body position here.
“Because I don’t know if you was dancing, or you was twisting. You twist one way, you twist the other, and you take [Igor] Biscan out of the game as well!”
Carragher then replied: “My only defence is it was against the greatest player to ever play in the Premier League.”
Manchester United legend Keane then chimed in, joking: “Did you just come back from injury Jamie?”
And when asked how he would describe the defending, Keane simply said: “Shocking.”

    Dave Saves
David De Gea has hit 20 clean sheets for the season in all competitions.
The goalkeeper is in the race for the Golden Glove with Newcastle’s Nick Pope, who has kept 13 Premier League clean sheets, the same number as De Gea.
The Toon’s defence is better as they have conceded 16 goals less.
    Bayern rule out Kane move
Bayern Munich have seemingly ruled out a move for Spurs striker Harry Kane.
The England record goalscorer has been linked with moves to both United and the German champions.
But chief financial officer Dr Michael Diederich has hinted they won’t be after Kane this summer.
He said: “I don’t rule anything out but can we afford such a transfer and do we want such a transfer? We have to keep an eye on our profitability.”
    Keys slams Ten Hag
Broadcaster Richard Keys has slammed Erik ten Hag for his criticism of fixture congestion.

    Yorke on ownership
Ex-United striker has claimed he is not bothered who the owner of the club is – providing they are willing to spend big.
Yorke told LegalSportsbooks.com: “I don’t know the individuals enough to make such a statement of who I would prefer to own the club.
“Mr Ratcliffe is a local guy and Manchester United fan, but we’ve heard all of this through the media, we don’t know the ins and outs of who to favour. You hear this and that about Qatari human rights but that’s all from the media so we don’t know.
“For me, it’s about who buys the club with the interest of the club, makes the fans happy and gets them back to competing against the best in the world again.
“Why would I want to get involved in the politics of it? As a player, all you want is an investment into the team and training facilities, that’s all you should care about.
“You want to play with the best players and compete for the number one spot in England and Europe.”
    Raya to leave Brentford
Man Utd target David Raya looks set to leave Brentford, according to reports.
The stopper is out of contract next summer and the Bees want to cash-in at the end of this season.
A £40m price tag is on his head, claims Fabrizio Romano.
    De Gea on fixture congestion
David De Gea has opened up on fixture congestion with United in the midst of three games in eight days.
The goalkeeper said: “As the manager said, we will need everyone at some point because we have many, many games. It’s hard to recover from so many games, but everyone is ready, everyone is training well.
“Playing Wednesday night and playing Saturday is not easy. The energy displayed by the team, the intensity, the desire were incredible, we controlled the game from start to finish. The team put in a great performance and it was very enjoyable.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST ONLINE CASINOS FOR 2023
    Rashford blow
    Bookings ahead of Sevilla
Man Utd have several players walking the tightrope of suspension against Sevilla in their Europa League quarter-final clash.
Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro will be suspended for the second leg, if they are booked during next week’s clash.
That means United’s midfield stars will have to watch their tackles or face missing out on the return tie.
    Osimhen update
Man Utd target Victor Osimhen has dealt the Red Devils a blow by revealing his happiness at Napoli.
The Nigerian striker has been sensational in Serie – as the Naples giants close in on a historic league title.
And he has spoken to L’Equipe to speak about how much he loves playing for the club.
    Kane doubt
Man Utd might get a pass to Harry Kane – with Bayern Munich’s chief financial officer admitting the Bavarians might not be able to afford him.
Dr Michael Diederich revealed: “I don’t rule anything out but can we afford such a transfer and do we want such a transfer? We have to keep an eye on our profitability.”
That will be music to Utd fans’ ears, who are desperate to add a No9 to their squad.
    Feyenoord swoop
Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag sent scouts to watch two Feyenoord players in action earlier this week, according to reports.
According to The Mirror, he has his sights set on Feyenoord duo Orkun Kokcu and Santiago Gimenez.
Man Utd representatives were in Rotterdam on Wednesday for the KNVB Cup semi-final clash between Ten Hag’s former club Ajax and Feyenoord.
It is understood that they were there to watch Kokcu and Gimenez in action.

However, Sevilla come with European pedigree having won the competition more times than anyone else, winning it on six occassions.
    United eye Feyenoord duo
Man Utd are monitoring Feyenoord duo Orkun Kokcu and Santiago Gimenez, according to reports from The Mirror.
A number of scouts from Premier League clubs like Tottenham, Brighton, West Ham and Tottenham recently watched them play against Ajax.
Kokcu is a technical central midfielder and Gimenez is a 21-year-old attacker.
    Incredible Martial stat
Anthony Martial has incredibly registered a goal or an assist every 89 minutes this season.
The Frenchman has seven goals and two assists in 17 games in all competitions.
He has started just nine games.
Pundit Paul Scholes thinks he can get 20-25 goals a season if he keeps fit.

    Casemiro welcomed
When Casemiro first joined Man Utd he did not speak English.
But thankfully, he was left shocked when assistant coach Eric Ramsey began speaking to him in Spanish, he is fluent in the language.
This reportedly help the ex-Real Madrid man settle into life at his new club, claim Manchester Evening News.
    Seagull Swoop
Man Utd are interested in signing Brighton duo Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo, according to reports.
Erik ten Hag is eager to add to his midfield ranks ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
And according to The Telegraph, he believes that both Mac Allister and Caicedo would be a perfect fit for the Red Devils.
United have struggled this season when missing Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in midfield.
And with loan star Marcel Sabitzer set to return to Bayern Munich this summer, reinforcements will undoubtedly be required to build on the club’s current form.
However, it will cost a lot to tempt the Brighton duo away from the Amex Stadium.
Exclusive: No rush to sell McTominay
Man Utd will demand at least £50MILLION before considering selling Scott McTominay this summer.
Newcastle are one of a host of clubs who are big admirers of the Scottish midfielder — who has been at Old Trafford since he was a kid.
But United bosses have made it clear to both the player and would-be suitors that he is still a valuable member of the squad and they will not be pressured into a sale.
McTominay, 26, is under contract for another two years, with the club also having the option to extend by 12 months beyond that.
Although United are looking to raise transfer funds, they are in no rush to cash in on the man whose two goals gave Scotland a famous win over Spain.

    Maguire praised by Ten Hag
Harry Maguire has been praised by Erik ten Hag after a great performance against Everton.
The Dutchman said: “That was a different Harry Maguire to what I’ve seen in the first weeks and months.
“It’s not been that easy for Harry but the demand is on him. He did really well today, in and out of possession, dominating his opponent, dictating and bringing passes.”
Maguire has featured in only five minutes across three home Premier League games since he started against Bournemouth at the beginning of January.
    Ten Hag gives Rashford update
Manager Erik ten Hag has given an update on the fitness of Marcus Rashford after he went off injured in the win over Everton.
The boss also slammed the schedule of fixtures.
He said: “We have to wait. He doesn’t look well.
“This was avoidable. All science and research tell you players need a certain time to recover.
“It is also part of the schedule that we are now finding ourselves in this situation and now we can only pray he is not dropping off.”
    Scholes predicts Kane blow
Man Utd legend Paul Scholes believes Harry Kane will choose to stay at Tottenham this summer despite interest from the Red Devils.
Kane, 29, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks.
But according to Scholes, the England skipper would not be the best fit for Man Utd.
When speaking to BT Sport, the 48-year-old said: “I think goals are a problem, [United are] a long way behind City and Arsenal at the top of the table goals wise.
“I think Harry is very happy where he is. If he was going to move it would have been to Man City a couple of years ago.
“He would be fantastic, 25 goals guaranteed, but it’s very difficult for him to move at 30 years of age.
“It’s a risk as well for Man Utd, if you put all your eggs in that Harry Kane basket and all of a sudden Daniel Levy is messing you about, you might end up with no one.
“If you get him early, brilliant, but I just think he’s very happy at Tottenham doing what he’s doing.”

    Top four race
Man Utd secured a huge win over Everton 2-0 yesterday, helping ease concerns of just a Europa League finish.
However, United fans may still be concerned as Newcastle secured a great win over Brentford 2-1.
The game between Tottenham and Brighton ended 2-1 to the hosts.
This means that Man Utd and Newcastle have a three-point cushion ahead of Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Brighton trail by seven points but have two games in hand.
Aston Villa are in the mix too, but they remain six points away.
    Good Morning United fans
Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham has been put on full blast because he “doesn’t have discipline”.
That is according to Liverpool hero Dietmar Hamann, who insists Bellingham needs to work on his game if he wants to join a bigger club.
The midfielder has attracted immense interest from some of Europe’s heaviest hitters, such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and the Reds.
Hamann told Sky Sports: “What Bellingham doesn’t have is discipline.“He may want to return to the island [England] or Real Madrid. He has to play differently.
“At Dortmund he can do what he wants. Nobody dares to say anything. Because they’re afraid of upsetting him. If you have that as a team-mate, you’ll have a problem.
“If he doesn’t do anything forwards and backwards, what does he do then?
“Obviously he is an exceptional player. But he has to get his discipline under control.”
Manchester United legend Bryan Robson was involved in a car crash while heading to watch his old club’s victory over Everton on Saturday.
The 66-year-old was driving to Old Trafford when his blue Mercedes S350d was hit from behind by another vehicle – damaging the boot and bumper.
Police officers attended, closing one lane while debris was removed from the dual carriageway.
Robson – nicknamed Captain Marvel during his playing days – stood on the grass embankment hugging a young lad while chatting to cops.
The ex-midfielder was dressed in official club colours ready for his role as a Manchester United ambassador.
Bayern Munich are keen to hijack Man Utd’s move for Harry Kane, according to reports.
Bayern insider Christian Falk told CaughtOffside: “There are always rumours about FC Bayern but they haven’t discussed Füllkrug yet. There is still a little hope that they can sign Harry Kane, but Bayern also now have an eye on Randal Kolo Muani of Frankfurt.”
According to Falk, Tuchel is desperate for a new No9 with doubts over Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s fitness.
“The new manager, Thomas Tuchel, is checking the squad at the moment to determine whether he needs new players in the summer,” Falk continued.
“At the moment, they’re focusing on the No.9 position. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is 34 years old and has problems with his back.
Mathys Tel is very talented, but just 17 years old. Bayern want to discuss the potential need for a new striker at the end of the season.”
Man Utd loanee Eric Bailly is expected to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season, reports suggest.
The 28-year-old joined Marseille on a season-long loan in August after falling out of favour with Erik ten Hag.
His current contract includes an £8.4million obligation to buy clause, which will be triggered if he makes 19 Ligue 1 appearances and Marseille qualify for the Champions League.
However, according to French outlet La Provence, Bailly is not expected to meet that target.
The defender has made just 11 league appearances for the Olympians so far this season. And he is not expected to play a part in the majority of the club’s nine remaining Ligue 1 games.
Man Utd target Ousmane Dembele’s contract talks have stalled, according to reports in Spain.
The 25-year-old has just 12 months left on his current deal.Sport report that the negotiations have hit a stumbling block because the Catalans can’t afford the French star’s demands.
That news has put several Premier League clubs on red alert.

However, according to French outlet La Provence, Bailly is not expected to meet that target.
The defender has made just 11 league appearances for the Olympians so far this season. And he is not expected to play a part in the majority of the club’s nine remaining Ligue 1 games.

‘Bellingham needs to work on his game’
Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham has been put on full blast because he “doesn’t have discipline”.
That is according to Liverpool hero Dietmar Hamann, who insists Bellingham needs to work on his game if he wants to join a bigger club.
The midfielder has attracted immense interest from some of Europe’s heaviest hitters, such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and the Reds.
Hamann told Sky Sports: “What Bellingham doesn’t have is discipline.
“He may want to return to the island [England] or Real Madrid. He has to play differently.
“At Dortmund he can do what he wants. Nobody dares to say anything.
“Because they’re afraid of upsetting him. If you have that as a team-mate, you’ll have a problem.
“If he doesn’t do anything forwards and backwards, what does he do then?
“Obviously he is an exceptional player. But he has to get his discipline under control.”

    Scholes criticises ten Hag
Man Utd legend Paul Scholes has criticised Erik ten Hag for not utilising his squad enough.
Ten Hag has used 28 players, as United went on to League Cup success and are in the Champions League places in the league.
Harry Maguire was one of three changes the ex-Ajax coach made, along with Aaron Wan-Bissaka given the nod at right-back and Tyrell Malacia replacing the injured Luke Shaw on the opposite defensive flank.
But that wasn’t enough for the former England international, who believes he should have rotated more during the season.
Scholes told BT Sport: “Something I don’t think Ten Hag has done is use his squad enough.
“When players have come into a game they’ve really struggled at first to pick up the pace a bit and there’s a few of those positions – Malacia at left-back.
“Maguire’s got experience, I think it’s a decent game for him to come into today.
“It’s not easy when you’re coming in, Harry just has to make sure he’s prepared properly and he’s training properly.
“He looks the type of lad who will be doing that and he’s played for England, but coming to Manchester United, coming to the Premier League, it’s slightly different, he’ll be tested more, but I expect him to deal with it.”

“I’d like to see Declan at Arsenal to be honest – I’m not an Arsenal fan but I like the way they’re playing at the minute.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has spoken on the need for passion needed in order to play for Manchester United.

Manchester United have been handed a blow in their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona have held direct meetings with his agent, Jeffrey Lemmert, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year-old is thought to have been on United’s shortlist since October.
Romano reports that Bayern will decide on Joao Cancelo’s future at the end of the season, while Barca’s position is unclear due to financial restraints.
    Team news for Everton
There is no time to rest for Erik ten Hag and Co as his team prepare to return to action against Everton.
Full team news is expected later today.
Fans are sweating on the fitness of Luke Shaw after he came off early in the win over Brentford.
Elsewhere, Christian Eriksen is back in training and Ten Hag did not rule out a return for the playmaker on Saturday.
Casemiro is serving the final game of his suspension, while Alejandro Garnacho is out with an ankle injury.
Sutton – United will win again
Manchester United return to action on Saturday lunchtime following Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Brentford.
The Red devils welcome Everton to Old Trafford.
And former Premier League striker Chris Sutton is predicting another narrow win for the hosts.
He wrote in his BBC column: “Manchester United are anything but free-flowing at the moment but they still found a way of beating Brentford on Wednesday.
“United are in a decent position to make the top four with Tottenham hitting the buffers a bit, but it is important they keep pushing on, especially at home.
“Everton will not make it easy for them and, since Dyche took charge at the end of January, they carry more of a threat now, especially from set-plays – but I still see United edging this.”
    Good morning Man Utd fans
Manchester United star Christian Eriksen has been spotted in training for the first time since suffering an ankle injury.
Eriksen limped off during a 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup fourth round in January when he was on the receiving end of a rough tackle from Andy Carroll.
The playmaker also gave the thumbs up to the camera to show he is fit and ready to go.
It is unclear when the Denmark international will be ready to play again, but he is hoping to be back for the weekend’s clash with Everton.
Meanwhile, The Glazers insist they remain “open-minded” amid suggestions they could stay in charge of United.
The unpopular owners put the club up for sale and are asking for a world record £6billion with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani posing as the frontrunners to succeed them.
But there are concerns the Glazers may end up staying at Old Trafford, particularly with brothers Avram and Joe open to minority investment from an outside source.
According to The Telegraph, however, the Americans have addressed speculation they may stay by just stating they remain ‘open-minded’.
The Glazers have also confirmed they continue to pursue “all available options” as well.
And United will invite potential bidders to more talks in the coming days – and insist a sale is still possible, reports SunSport’s Martin Lipton.
Doubts over the Glazer family’s true intentions have been raised after their bankers Raine Group opted for radio silence for almost a fortnight.
Both Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe’s Ineos have been left in the dark by the lack of contact since submitting world record £5bn bids over the final weekend of last month.
That has led to growing worries that the Glazers might be more minded to accept the offer of US hedge fund Elliott Management for a “small amount of common equity” that could see the club’s commercial and merchandising division hived off into a separate company.
But the Glazers now want to discover how serious the main bidders are about coming close to their £6bn valuation by inviting them for a further conversation.
It appears the Glazers and Raine are looking to give Ineos and Sheikh Jassim a final chance to raise their bids to a level where the deal cannot be turned down.
However, if an offer at the right level is not made, the sale could be scuppered, with the American family said to be “open minded” about their options.
Finally, United have been fined £65,000 for their players’ behaviour against Fulham in the FA Cup last month.
The fine comes after the Red Devils were charged for failing to control their players in the quarter-final win at Old Trafford.
The Manchester giants were charged for the way the players surrounded referee Chris Kavanagh as they appealed for a penalty after the Cottagers’ star Willian handled the ball.
Jadon Sancho’s goalbound effort was blocked on the line by the Brazilian and Kavanagh initially waved play on, leading to the protests, before a VAR check led to a penalty.
United accepted the charges and the FA confirmed the club has been handed a £65,000 fine.
    Ten Hag praises players
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was delighted with his players’ concentration in beating Brentford 1-0.
Ten Hag said: “It’s about focus, we want to play as a machine.
“I thought we made one mistake but fortunately they didn’t get the benefit of it and [David] De Gea was the equal to it.
“This is a massive win, especially over Brentford because as I said I admire them. This win will give us energy.”
    Lewandowski Prem approach
Barcelona superstar Robert Lewandowski has revealed he laughed at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp when he made a cheeky transfer offer.
Lewandowski’s ex-Borussia Dortmund manager Klopp had stopped him from joining Manchester United six years earlier in 2011.
And the striker admits he was stunned when the German tactician asked him about moving to Anfield.
Lewandowski told Bild: “We spoke on that occasion. Klopp asked me, ‘Don’t you want to come to Liverpool?’  We looked at each other, then I laughed.
“I don’t know if he was totally serious. But going to Liverpool was never in my mind.”

    Ten Hag on Martial
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has admitted he was scared to risk starting “fragile” Anthony Martial against Brentford.
When asked why Martial didn’t start, Ten Hag said: “He was an option but I don’t think he was fit enough.
“Also it’s prevention. Obviously, when you see his record over the last years you have to be really careful to plan it. Even then still he can be fragile physically.
“So I don’t want to take that risk because I know when he is on the pitch he has a great impact on our performance.”
    Ian Wright’s super Sab
Arsenal legend Ian Wright praised Manchester United ace Marcel Sabitzer’s impressive display against Brentford.
Wright told Premier League Productions: “You have to say, Sabitzer came up with the goods.
“With the assist and in certain other areas, he was getting into pockets, making some nice little moves and always making himself available.
“He got taken off in the end but I thought he did more than enough tonight in that No10 position.”
    Got the Gigg
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs’ son Zach looks set to leave the club.
The 16-year-old is nearing a move to Sheffield United and therefore could be part of a Premier League squad next season.
The Blades are in the hunt for promotion and sit in second place in the Championship table.
The left-back has been part of United’s academy since 2019, hoping to emulate his father at the club.
The Welshman has played for the Under-18s side, but his hopes of landing a professional deal at the Red Devils have been dampened.
    Gunner blow it
Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes Arsenal will choke in the Premier League title race.
Keane said: “They [Arsenal] are in a great position, wouldn’t have thought that at the start of the season but they’ve been brilliant, a lot of the young players have been very consistent, they can just focus on the league.
“They’re definitely favourites for the title. I don’t think they’ll do it. I still have to fancy [Manchester] City but Arsenal have got themselves in a great position.
“You need a little bit of luck, injuries over the last few months, they’re in a great position and you have to admire them for that – can’t begrudge them.
“I just think City are that brilliant. The games they [Arsenal] have to go and win, these are obviously pressure games and they’ve not dealt with that over the last few years. Even last year with top four they came up short, that’s the question mark that’s just hanging over them.
“But again, they’ve been brilliant, if they did go on and win it you have to give them the plaudits, but this is the crunch time, when you sort the men out from the boys, who can get over the line?”

Man Utd LIVE: Ten Hag’s Brentford REACTION, Eriksen’s RETURN, takeover latest updates

MANCHESTER UNITED got revenge on Brentford as Marcus Rashford bagged the winner against the Bees in a 1-0 win in the Premier League.Erik ten Hag said this about the win: “I think [it was] a very good performance. First half we played brilliant football and it’s not easy against a very good Brentford.”
Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen could return for United’s game against Everton on the weekend.
The Dane has been out since being clattered by Andy Carroll in an FA Cup game in January.
And we’ve got the very latest on United’s takeover talks.
CASINO SPECIAL – BEST ONLINE CASINOS FOR 2023
    Glazers address takeover fears
The Glazers insist they remain “open-minded” amid suggestions they could stay in charge of Manchester United.
The unpopular United owners put the club up for sale and are asking for a world record £6billion with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani posing as the frontrunners to succeed them.
But there are concerns the Glazers may end up staying at Old Trafford, particularly with brothers Joel and Avram open to minority investment from an outside source.
According to The Telegraph, however, the Americans have addressed suggestions they may stay by just stating they remain ‘open-minded’.
The Glazers have also confirmed they continue to pursue “all available options”, too.
    Christian Eriksen return
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has refused to rule out Christian Eriksen making a speedy return for Saturday’s match against Everton at Old Trafford.
Eriksen has been out since being clattered by Andy Carroll in an FA Cup game against Reading in January.
When asked about the playmaker’s comeback, Ten Hag told Viaplay: “We will see. We see it from day to day.
“He is progressing. He is now back only this week in team training tomorrow [Thursday] and the day after tomorrow [Friday].
“We have two sessions. After that, we will decide if he is back in the squad again.”
    Ten Hag reacts
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag praised his players after Wednesday’s victory over Brenford.
Ten Hag told Sky Sports: “It was a very good performance. First, we played some brilliant football. It isn’t easy creating chances against a very good Brentford side who defend compact and really deep.
“We created some chances and conceded nothing in the first half. In the second half we conceded only one chance, so you can say our performance was really good.
“Yes [Rashford has been outstanding], very good. But we can talk almost every game about it and when he is not in the game, like Sunday, it is no good for us.
“We have to bring him in the game, and he also has to take responsibility. There are also other players. I was really happy with the performance of Jadon Sancho, Antony and Marcel Sabitzer because all game they were a threat.
“What was missing on Sunday – determination, passion and desire – we showed that in the second half by winning duels and fights. That is the way we have to play. We maybe forgot our standards [at Newcastle] but they have to return if we want to be successful in the final stages of the season.”

    Fight for Vic
Glenn Hoddle has urged Chelsea to go all in for Man United target Victor Osimhen.
The Napoli striker is having an outrageous season as he seeks to lead his club to their first title in decades.
And Hoddle said: “Hoddle told Premier League Productions: ‘They do need a No 9, they do need a goal scorer.
“But I’ll tell you what, whoever comes in as a new manager for this squad, normally you’d say when a new manager comes in he’s going to want to bring some of his own players in, I think he only needs a No 9, I think everything [else] is there.
“You need someone who you think is going to score 20 goals for you, a fox in the box, someone who wants to be in that area where they’re creating so much.”
    Marcs Out of 10
Erik ten Hag was impressed with what he saw from his new look front-line last night against Brentford.
Burnley loanee Wout Weghorst dropped out of the first 11 and ten Hag was left gushing about the combinations between his attacking players.
He said of Marcus Rashford: “He played a very good game. I think he was very versatile. He came out of the front line and we used him as the target but he also went out wide.
“I think the combination between him and Marcel Sabitzer and also Jadon Sancho and Antony [was good].”
    Erik ten Happy
Erik ten Hag spoke highly of his team following yesterday’s 1-0 win over Brentford.
The Dutch boss said: “I think [it was] a very good performance. First half we played brilliant football and it’s not easy against a very good Brentford. They defend really compact, high, or really deep, so it’s not easy to create chances.
“On the ball, it was very good with the big engine – Bruno Fernandes – he played a brilliant game. We had a couple of chances, but we conceded nothing in the first half, so the defence was very good.”
“Second half we concede only one chance and David De Gea was there, a very good save in the one-on-one. In the second half, we were winning duals, and winning fights and that is the way we have to play.”
    Eriksen’s Return
Erik ten Hag has refused to rule out Christian Eriksen making a speedy return for the game against Everton on Saturday.
The Dane has been out since being clattered by Andy Carroll in an FA Cup game in January.
When asked about Eriksen’s comeback, Ten Hag told Viaplay: “We will see. We see it from day to day.
“He is progressing. He is now back only this week in team training tomorrow [Thursday] and the day after tomorrow [Friday]. We have two sessions. After that, we will decide if he is back in the squad again.”
    Got the Gigg
The son of Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs looks set to leave the club.
Zach, 16, is nearing a move to Sheffield United and therefore could be part of a Premier League squad next season.
The Blades are in the hunt for promotion and sit in second place in the Championship.
Giggs has been part of the United academy since 2019, hoping to emulate his father at the club.
He has played for the Under-18s side, but his hopes of landing a professional deal at United have been dampened.
    Bru-Tal
Manchester United fans were in stitches after watching Bruno Fernandes kick David de Gea while the goalkeeper was down injured.
The United No1 required treatment after producing a magnificent save in the 1-0 win over Brentford.
As the physios rushed over to De Gea they were joined by the captain on the night, Fernandes.
But instead of checking on the welfare of his team-mate, the Portugal international began to jokingly kick De Gea as he lay on the ground.
Footage emerged of the incident on social media and many fans found Fernandes’ behaviour hilarious.
    Reliant on Rashford?
Marcus Rashford’s incredible goal-scoring form thing has been on the best parts of Man United’s season.
But even manager Erik ten Hag couldn’t help but point out the goal burden on the 25-year-old’s shoulders as he implored other Red Devil stars to help out more last week.
And here’s a stat that might leave the Dutchman a bit worried.
United not won a league game without Rashford scoring since the 2-1 away win at Fulham on November 13.
    Thick and Fast
With Man United still in three competitions, games will be coming at them with alarming pace in the coming weeks.
Here’s how their immediate fixture list looks.

    Toney Beware
Another goal by Marcus Rashford last night has edged him closer to the Premier League top scorers.
Ivan Toney is now directly in his sights while Harry Kane and Erling Haaland remain out in the distance.

    Top Marcs
Marcus Rashford was at it again last night as he netted the only goal of the game against Brentford.
His strike was enough for United’s victory and his 27th goal in all competitions this season.
As long as Rashford keeps this form up, fans can be confident of a strong finish to the season as they continue to fight on three fronts.
Marcus Rashford has kept up his incredible form in 2023
    Erik the ‘Ero
Jadon Sancho justified Erik ten Hag’s masterstroke selection against Brentford by outperforming Wout Weghort with ease as Manchester United finally ended their goal drought.
The 23-year-old replaced the Dutchman up top and garnered praise from fans for his performance.
Asked about the decision, Ten Hag explained: “Creativity. Jadon is making good progress since he came back.
Meanwhile, fans took to Twitter as one said: “Ever since we took out Weghorst and played Antony and Sancho as our wingers, the attack is more fluid.”
Another wrote: “I don’t want to see Weghorst ever again brev – Sancho, Rashford, Antony, Pellistri, Martial. Pick three from them.”
    Red-y To Go
United got their top four ambitions back on track last night with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Brentford.
Marcus Rashford was at it again as he got himself on the scoresheet but it was not a dream night for some of his teammates.
Find out who was hot and who was not with our player match ratings from last night here.
    Good morning United fans
Erik ten Hag claims United’s passion and desire is back after a “massive win”.
Marcus Rashford’s 28th goal of the season deservedly saw off Brentford to put the Red Devils back up to fourth place following a dire 2-0 loss at Newcastle .
Boss Ten Hag said: “We dominated the first half especially, the second half was more of a battle.
“But then we saw what I missed on Sunday – determination, passion and desire.”
Nonetheless, it’s claimed the Dutchman is ready to put five senior players who have struggled for starts up for sale this summer.
Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams, Alex Telles, Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly are tipped for uncertain futures.
It comes as the Red Devils prepare to invite potential takeover bidders to MORE talks in the coming days – and insist a sale is still possible.
Doubts over the true intentions of the current owners the Glazers have been raised as their bankers Raine Group have kept quiet for almost a fortnight.
Finally, reported United target David Raya is now said to be wanted to LaLiga clubs.
Tottenham are also eyeing the Brentford keeper.
    ‘Only one mistake’
Erik ten Hag was delighted with United’s concentration in beating Brentford 1-0.
The Old Trafford manager said: “It’s about focus, we want to play as a machine.
“I thought we made one mistake but fortunately they didn’t get the benefit of it and (keeper David) De Gea was the equal to it.
“This is a massive win, especially over Brentford because as I said I admire them. This win will give us energy.”
Ten Hag urges Marcus to stay focused
United boss Erik ten Hag is determined to keep 28-goal main man Marcus Rashford in the zone.
The England striker’s latest classy finish saw off Brentford.
And Ten Hag told the BBC: “Great finish. Once again he is on top. He’s in very good form.
“Hopefully he can keep doing it until the end of the season, keeping that focus, that energy level.”
    ‘Our passion is back’
Erik ten Hag hailed a “massive win” and Marcus Rashford’s continuing hot streak.
Rashford’s 28th goal of the season deservedly saw off Brentford to put the Red Devils fourth following a dire 2-0 loss at Newcastle.
Boss Ten Hag said: “We dominated first half especially, second half was more of a battle.
“But then we saw what I missed on Saturday – determined, passion and desire.”
    United sub ratings
Malacia for Shaw 35 – Did a solid job after replacing the England man.
Martial for Sancho 70 –  One lung-busting run could have created something but did not see much of the ball.
Fred for Sabitzer, 70 – Rushed his shot and skied it after great work by Rashford 70
Lindelof – for Antony 86 – Thrown on to preserve United’s lead.
    How the front three rated
    ANTONY – 6
Clever chip into the box to open up the Bees to make the breakthrough – but his radar was off all night as every shot he tried seemed to go wide – or too high. If only he could use his right foot.
    JADON SANCHO – 5
Given a rare start as ETH finally left out Weghorst and had one or two moments after the break. But the boss and United fans want more and no surprise when he was hooked midway through second half.
    MARCUS RASHFORD – 8
Given a central role and seemed to enjoy himself playing with more freedom. Took the chance as he rifled in his 28th of the season – equalling the best tally from a United player since Fergie left. Lovely footwork to create an opening early in the second half.
    Midfield ratings
    SCOTT McTOMINAY – 7
Half volley just over after good work by Antony. Certainly put himself about as he was booked for wild tackle on Jensen and one important block from Baptiste to thwart a rare Bees attack.
    MARCEL SABITZER – 6
Cushioned header to set up Rashford for the opener. Showed plenty of energy and forced a smart save out of Raya in the second half before being replaced by Fred as ten Hag looked to see the game out.
    BRUNO FERNANDES – 6
Skipper did his best to create things and opened the game up a couple of times after the break. Booked for foul on Damsgaard – blasted a shot high over the bar as United looked for a second.
How Utd rated in 1-0 win
Our man Martin Blackburn assesses the Red Devils after they moved back into the Champions League spots.
    DAVID DE GEA – 7
One moment of madness as he booted a clearance straight at Toney but was relieved to see it fly wide.  A couple of other poor kicks but made amends with crucial second half from Schade.
    DIOGO DALOT – 6
Got the nod despite Wan Bissaka returning to the squad with ten Hag admitting there is little to choose between the pair.  Did what he had to do defensively and linked up effectively with Antony down his flank.
    LISANDRO MARTINEZ – 7
Acrobatic clearance late in the first half showed what he is all about. As Brentford pushed for an equaliser he made another vital interception from a cross. Not his busiest night but did everything asked of him.
    RAPHAEL VARANE – 6
Turned too easily by Schade but luckily De Gea got him out of jail. However he was part of a defensive display that was much-improved from the horror show against the Bees earlier in the season.
    LUKE SHAW – 5
Not the way the England full-back would have wanted to celebrate his new contract. Got booked for dragging Toney to the ground early on then limped off before the break to be replaced by Malacia.
RESULT: Man Utd 1 Brentford 0
Marcus Rashford’s winner put United back over Spurs into fourth place.
Ivan Toney lobbed a last-gasp Brentford chance onto the roof of the net.

LATEST: Man Utd 1 Brentford 0
United have ben gunning for a second goal as the Prem clash enters stoppage time.
In fact, they had their 13th corner of the match late on, having led since Marcus Rashford’s fine opener on 27 minutes.
Victory would return the Red Devils to the top four.

Man Utd LIVE: Ten Hag issues WARNING to stars, £43m Kim min-jae LINKED, Van de Beek EXIT, takeover latest updates

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Erik ten Hag has issued a warning to his players his underperforming players.Meanwhile, The Red Devils will face competition from other Premier League sides for Napoli star Kim Min-jae.
Elsewhere, Donny van de Beek has been linked with a sensational return to former club Ajax.
And we’ve got the very latest on United’s takeover talks.
CASINO SPECIAL – BEST ONLINE CASINOS FOR 2023
Wout better for United than Ron – stats say
United are much BETTER with Wout Weghorst than Cristiano Ronaldo – at least in terms of results.
That is despite the Dutchman barely scoring since arriving at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo, 38, was axed by United in November following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
That left Erik ten Hag without a recognised senior striker in his squad with the Red Devils battling on four fronts.

And he made the shock swoop for Burnley centre forward Weghorst, who in turn cut his loan at Besiktas short to make his temporary switch to Old Trafford.
To say he has struggled for goals would be an understatement – the Carabao Cup winner has managed just two goals in 19 starts and is yet to get one in the Premier League.
But despite Ronaldo hitting the net 11 times in his last 19 starts for the club, the data proves United are a stronger team with the giant Holland international up front rather than the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and record-breaking machine.

In those last 19 starts, Ronaldo helped United to nine wins, three draws and seven defeats.
Over the same period, Weghorst’s return is a whopping 12 wins, four draws and just three losses – a significant improvement.
Though those are across all competitions and include knockout cup games, that would work out as 40 points for Weghorst – 2.11 per game – compared to 30 points or 1.58 per game for Ronaldo.
You should know what I want by now
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has told his under-performing stars they are at the wrong club if they still do not know what he wants from them.
Ten Hag wants to see a reaction in tonight’s clash against Brentford — who gave him a rude 4-0 awakening in the second game of the season.
The Dutch tactician was asked if he was worried some of his players were not getting the message about hunger and motivation.
Ten Hag responded: “When they can’t get it, then they are in the wrong place.”

    Ten Hag’s five guys
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is ready to put five players on the chopping block this summer – including a favourite of co-owner Joel Glazer.
According to Manchester Evening News, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams, Alex Telles, Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly will all be up for sale in the summer.
Martial is believed to be Glazer’s favourite and he has intervened to stop the striker being sold previously.
But the 27-year-old, who was signed with high expectations in 2015, has failed to convince over a sustained period and has been increasingly hampered by various injuries.
    More from Parker
Manchester United hero Paul Parker added that Luke Shaw is “not a leader”.
Parker added: “Shaw has played a lot of games in the Premier League and a lot of games for his country.
“Way more games than I did, so you would expect more from him but he is not a leader. It is a huge weakness in his game.
“For me it seems like he wants to put his team in jeopardy by the way he conducts himself.
“You should want to die for Man United and it makes me think that he is not a player that should play for Man United, when he is not acting like that.”
    Are you Shaw?
Manchester United star Luke Shaw is “petulant” and “can’t be trusted”, claims Old Trafford hero Paul Parker.
Parker told BonusCodeBets: “When Man United are struggling and the results have not gone their way, Shaw has reacted by being petulant and his performances have been very disappointing.
“We are talking about a player who is England’s left full-back so you would expect mature performances and a mature behaviour but you are not getting that from him.
“When I’m watching him I get this playground feeling. He feels like he is the best player on the team and if it’s not going his way he wants to pick up the ball and go home. That’s the way he is and he ends up kicking people.
“Against Liverpool he tried to get a red card in the last 15 minutes. He wanted to get sent off and I got the same feeling against Newcastle.
“If we were going to judge him right now we would ask ourselves the question, what is he doing as England’s left full-back? Because you can’t trust him when things aren’t going his way.”
    Eriksen injury status
Manchester United star Christian Eriksen is back in first-team training in a huge boost for manager Erik ten Hag.
Eriksen has been missing since the end of January after he was poleaxed by a reckless challenge by Reading’s Andy Carroll in an FA Cup tie at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag said: “Not for tomorrow but he’s returning on the pitch.
“He’s returned to team training today, so we have to see now how quickly he can make the progress.”
    Partey slams Man Utd
Arsenal star Thomas Partey took a surprise swipe at Manchester United on social media.
Partey was particularly pleased when United dropped to fifth place after Sunday’s 2-0 loss at Newcastle.
The midfielder appeared in a video by media personality and Red Devils fan Nana Aba Anamoah with whom he was having lunch.
Aba Anamoah asked the Ghana international to send a message to Arsenal fans and that is when he decided to poke fun at United.
Partey said: “Join us in celebration of United’s loss.”
Arsenal star Thomas Partey trolled Manchester United
    Man Utd’s mission Kim-possible
Manchester United are interested in triggering the release clause of Napoli star Kim Min-jae, but will have to fend off a lot of competition.
According to Mail Online, United are among three Premier League clubs who are keen on a move for Kim.
The 26-year-old is rumoured to be interested in a move to the Prem and will have plenty of options if his clause is triggered.
The Red Devils are said to be joined in the chase for the South Korea international by Liverpool and Tottenham.
    More from Ten Hag
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag defended his players after a dip in form.
Ten Hag said: “I agree we return to old habits but I also know there are fluctuations because people are not robots.
“But we have to act as robots, as machines, we have to expect and demand of our players that they match the standards.
“So, when we are not doing it we are disappointed because that is our job. There is a very strong belief, very strong confidence and passion and togetherness.
“We have shown it in many games and big games, we have shown we can win the games. But you have to do it in every game because that is the demand on Manchester United.”
    Wil I never
Arsenal Under-18s boss Jack Wilshere has taken a swipe at Manchester United fans ahead of the FA Youth Cup final.
Looking ahead to the final against either West Ham or Southampton, Wilshere revealed his hope for a full-capacity crowd on April 29.
The 31-year-old head coach referred to last year’s final between United and Nottingham Forest as he took a dig at United fans.
Wilshere said: “I watched the Youth Cup final last year and there was 60,000 there. And I know that our fans are better than Man United fans.”
    Ten Hag warning
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has told his under-performing stars they are at the wrong club if they still do not know what he wants from them.
Ten Hag wants to see a reaction in tonight’s clash against Brentford — who gave him a rude 4-0 awakening in the second game of the season.
The Dutch tactician was asked if he was worried some of his players were not getting the message about hunger and motivation.
Ten Hag responded: “When they can’t get it, then they are in the wrong place.”

    Don his way?
Ajax are keen on bringing Manchester United ace Donny van de Beek back to the club this summer.
Van de Beek is currently sidelined for the remainder of the season with a knee injury picked up in January.
According to Football Insider, the playmaker is set to be one of the names to leave Old Trafford this summer as the Red Devils look to sell as many as eight players.
The same report adds that the Netherlands international’s former club Ajax would be interested in bringing him back to Amsterdam.
The Manchester giants would be prepared to accept a bid of £25million to end the 25-year-old’s disappointing three-year spell at the club.
    Man Utd takeover latest
The UK government has raised concerns about Manchester United’s potential buyer Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani amid his bid to take over from the Glazers.
Sheikh Jassim is one of the frontrunners to buy United, with the Qatari banker going up against British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Finnish businessman Thomas Zilliacus.
The takeover process is continuing to drag on, but the Raine Group expected to provide an update in the coming days.
Sheikh Jassim is looking to make a 100 per cent buyout, as well as clearing the club’s debt.
    Marcus Rashford change
Former Manchester United coach Neil Ryan claims Marcus Rashford wanted to play as a holding midfielder after suffering a crisis in confidence.
Ryan, who worked with United’s youth team, revealed Rashford wanted to play in the deeper role as he could not “burn past” players.
However, the now England Under-18s manager insisted that the 25-year-old would always be a forward and that his pace would come once he grew more.
Ryan told FourFourTwo: “In the Under-12s and Under-13s he was fantastic and often up against older boys. You didn’t feel that it was effortless like it was with Ravel Morrison.
“Marcus’ attitude and talent always stood out, but aged 14 he had a confidence crisis and wanted to be a holding midfielder. I recall talking to his mother and brothers.
“He spoke about wanting to get on the ball more.He didn’t have the pace then to burn past others because he was still growing, but we always thought he’d be a forward.”
    Hugo Ekitike alert
Paris Saint-Germain are tipped to offload Manchester United target Hugo Ekitike after one season.
Ekitike, 20, has also been previously linked with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan.
PSG landed the striker on loan from Reims last summer.
But although that deal means the reigning French champions have to buy the France Under-20 international at the end of the season, Le Parisien say he will then be transfer-listed.
The Frenchman has, unsurprisingly, struggled to displace Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar up front.
And to many pundits, Ekitike’s form has been a disappointment.

    Morning, United fans
Brazil striker Vitor Roque has joined Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen on United’s summer wishlist for strikers.
And the Red Devils are considering triggering the £43million release clause of Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae.
That’s the top transfer gossip ahead of tonight’s home Prem clash with Brentford.
United need just a point to leapfrog Tottenham and Sunday’s conquerors Newcastle to return to third place.
Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is back in the squad after illness.
But although Christian Eriksen has resumed full training it’s thought he’s still a week or so away from competitive action.
It’s claimed Nigeria striker Osimhen has indicated he’d be interested in moving to Old Trafford.
That comes as United are rated as frontrunners for his club-mate Kim, ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham.
But Barcelona are said to be ahead of United in the hunt for Athletico Paranaense starlet Roque, 18.
Finally, United will play Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas on July 30 as part of their USA summer tour.
Piers blasts Ten Hag after Ron’s latest masterclass
Cristiano Ronaldo’s deadly double shows Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag made one of football’s worst blunders EVER, Piers Morgan claims.
And as fans hailed Ronaldo’s display in Al-Nassr’s 5-0 rout of Al Adfalah, one reckoned his second goal proved he has the “the greatest weak foot in the history of this beautiful game”.
United ousted the Portugal legend, 38, in November following his searing verdict in a TalkTV interview with Sun Columnist Morgan over how the club and Ten Hag had treated him.

But now, after a mediocre World Cup and slow start to his career in Saudi Arabia, Ron’s in scorching form again.
He bagged Al-Nassr’s penalty opener and a stunning third goal on Tuesday
Picking up a pass from two-goal strike-partner Talisca, he accelerated into the box and lashed a left-footer inside the far corner.
One enthusiast tweeted: “The greatest weak foot in the history of this beautiful game. 156th weak foot goal for the Greatest of all time.”
And Morgan posted: “Two more goals for @Cristiano so far tonight, including this superb one which once again suggests Ten Hag’s decision to dump him for Wout Weghorst was one of the worst in football history.”
Old Trafford chief Ten Hag has stuck with Weghorst in attack despite the loanee’s lack of goals.
    ‘Rashford wanted change’
A former Manchester United coach has claimed that Marcus Rashford wanted to place as a holding midfielder after suffering a crisis in confidence.
Neil Ryan, who worked with the youth team at United, revealed that Rashford, 25, wanted to play in the deeper role as he could not “burn past” players.

However, the now England under 18s manager, 48, insisted that Rashford would always be a forward and that his pace would come once he grew more.
He told FourFourTwo: “In the Under 12s and Under 13s he was fantastic and often up against older boys.
“You didn’t feel that it was effortless like it was with Ravel Morrison.
“Marcus’ attitude and talent always stood out, but aged 14 he had a confidence crisis and wanted to be a holding midfielder.
“I recall talking to his mother and brothers.
“He spoke about wanting to get on the ball more.
“He didn’t have the pace then to burn past others because he was still growing, but we always thought he’d be a forward.”
Red Devils to face Dortmund in Vegas
United will play Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas in July as part of its summer tour of the US, bringing the most famous football club on the planet to the entertainment capital of the world, writes MARTIN BLACKBURN.
The match at the Allegiant Stadium on Sunday July 30, is the second fixture of the Club’s Tour 23 to be announced, with more fixtures and locations to be revealed in the coming weeks.
United have not met the Bundesliga side since a 2016 tour game in China and the pair have only played six competitive matches in their histories, – making this summer’s encounter a rare opportunity for US fans to see two of Europe’s leading football teams go head-to-head.
Last week, United announced a game against Welsh side Wrexham at Snapdragon Stadium, San Diego, on 25th July. Tickets for this match have already sold out, with fans eager to see the Red Devils return to the US for the first time in five years.
United Football Director, John Murtough said: “We have worked with the manager and his staff to provide a mix of competitive opponents to play during our tour of the US and we look forward to the match against Borussia Dortmund.
“As well as gaining valuable playing time, the squad will also be participating in training camps within the best sporting facilities available, giving our players the opportunity to build fitness before the start of the new Premier League season.
“The response we have received from fans since announcing we will be returning to the US has been incredible. We already have a full house for the match in San Diego and I am sure it will be the same for this fixture in Vegas.”
    Utd ‘in for Kim’
United are reportedly interested in triggering the £43million release clause of Napoli star Kim Min-jae, but will have to fend off a lot of competition.
The Mail Online has reported that the Red Devils are among three Premier League clubs who are keen on a move for the centre-back.
The 26-year-old is rumoured to be interested in a move to the English top flight and will have plenty of options if his clause is triggered.
United are said to be joined in the chase for the South Korea international by Liverpool and Tottenham.

Kim has been a crucial part of Napoli’s impressive campaign this season.
He has featured 36 times for the club already as they sit 16 points clear at the top of Serie A with a Champions League quarter-final tie with AC Milan to come.
The former Fenerbahce defender joined the Italians in the summer for a modest £16million, but is understood to be valued significantly higher now.
The release clause in his contract – thought to be be 50million euros – would see him leave for below his market value after only one season at the club.
Napoli could try to remove the clause by offering Kim a fresh set of terms despite his recent arrival.
    Prem clubs on Hugo alert
PSG are tipped to offload Newcastle target Hugo Ekitike after ONE season.
The French striker, 20, has previously been linked with Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan.
PSG landed the Under-20 international on loan from Reims last summer.

But although that deal means the Ligue 1 leaders have to buy him at the end of the season, Le Parisien sayhe will then be transfer-listed.
Ekitike has, unsurprisingly, struggled to displace Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar up front.
And to many pundits his form has been a disappointment.
    Nev stirs up Spurs row
United legend sparked a furious Twitter row with Jermaine Jenas and Jamie O’Hara with his cutting comments about former Tottenham players.
The Sky Sports pundit, 48, took a swipe at his fellow footballers-turned-pundits criticising the club after they blew a lead to draw 1-1 at lowly ten-man Everton on Monday.
Spurs still rose to fourth on goal difference but some ex-Spurs players hit out, especially when caretaker boss Cristian Stellini claimed his team “played a good game”.

Jenas tweeted: “I can’t watch this team anymore ffs.”
And O’Hara raged on talkSPORT before storming out of the studio: “I’m done. Someone save me. I’m done, I am done. Who is this imposter? Has Antonio Conte come back?”
Neville tweeted: “Interesting seeing ex-Spurs players that never got near to Champions League places for years when they played for the club saying they can’t watch this current team now.
“Spurs are in fourth place currently ahead of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool. Perspective!”
O’Hara said: “Massive fan of Gary Neville so won’t get into a slanging match. I did play for Spurs, grew up at Spurs and a huge fan who cares about the club and seeing the awful football week in week out is hard to watch.
“Everyone is entitled to an opinion and we may be fourth but it’s diabolical.”
Jenas shared a photo of himself playing for Tottenham in the Champions League and captioned it: “… maybe he wasn’t taking about me. Apologies if so @GNev2.”
Victor fancies becoming a Red Devil
Napoli star Victor Osimhen is interested in a move to Manchester United.
According to TeamTalk, the Osimhen is ‘eyeing up’ a move to United in the summer.
This season the striker has excelled in Serie A and has provided plenty of goals in the club’s title charge.
The Nigeria international has registered a staggering total of 25 goals and five assists in 29 appearances.

Red Devils and Barca ‘keen on Roque’
United and Barcelona are regarded as two of the massive European clubs interested in 18-year-old Brazil striker Vitor Roque.
The Athletico Paranaense starlet has notched 10 goals and three assists in 40 games for the Brazilian top-flight club.
It’s claimed he’d prefer a move to Barca.
And that would hardly be a surprise, given that fellow countrymen Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho have also swapped Brazil for the Nou Camp.
    Villa ‘in for Henderson’
Aston Villa are the latest Premier League club to be linked with a move to sign Man United’s Dean Henderson.
The goalkeeper is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, who will be in the hint for his signature should they beat the drop.
But according to Football Insider, the Villans are also interested in signing the internationally capped stopper.
