    Lindelof wanted by Inter
Victor Lindelof is attracting interest from Inter Milan, according to reports.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim the player is keen to leave Man Utd after falling down the pecking order at the club.
The Swede has started just five games in the Premier League this season.
    Mourinho to leave Roma?
Jose Mourinho’s Roma future has been cast into doubt with no new contract on the table, reports suggest.
Mourinho was appointed by the Italian outfit in July 2021, but after almost two years in Rome this season could be his last.
This is because his relationship with sporting director Tiago Pinto has “gone cold” according to Get Football Italy.
Mourinho wants to sort out his future during the season, but Roma chiefs are yet to open negotiations.
    Weghorst confident
Man Utd star Wout Weghorst appeared confident that his club will lift more trophies this season.
The club have already won the Carabao Cup and they can add to their collection via the FA Cup and Europa League.
United face Brighton in the semi-finals of the competition and on the continent, they play Sevilla in the quarters.
Speaking after the facing Gibraltar for the Netherlands, he said: “There are still two trophies left to win with Manchester United. The FA Cup & Europa League. These are going to be some nice weeks.”
    Is a multi-club model allowed?
If the Qataris do takeover Man Utd, reports suggest they will look at implementing a multi-club model with Braga and Malaga acting as feeder clubs for the Red Devils and fellow-Qatari backed club PSG.
There are current restrictions that prevent teams owned by the same person competing in the same European competition.
Man Utd could attempt to find a way around this as Sheikh Jassim is not involved in Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s PSG group.
Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin recently hinted at the current rules being changed, handing the Qataris a boost.
He told The Overlap: “This multi-club ownership question is an interesting question, I think we should think about it for the future and see what to do.
“There is more and more interest for this multi-club ownership and we shouldn’t just say no for the investments.
“But we have to see what kind of rules we set in that case because rules have to be strict. We have to rethink the current rules.
“I think it has to be quick because… everything has to happen quick in football.”

    How about Qat?
Manchester United could reportedly become a part of the biggest multi-club network in the world if they are taken over by Qatari investors.
The Red Devils’ owners the Glazers are considering several bids as they weigh up the possibility of selling the Premier League giants.
One of the most high-profile offers has come from a group fronted by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani – chairman of the Qatari Islamic Bank and son of the gulf state’s former Prime Minister.
Qatar Sports Investments already own Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
They also have a de facto controlling stake in Portuguese outfit Sporting Braga.
And according to the Daily Record, QSI chairman and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is considering taking control of Malaga – who are in danger of dropping down to the third tier of Spanish football.
They plan to create the biggest multi-club network in the sport, with Braga (and possibly Malaga) acting as development outfit for Man Utd and PSG.
    Rashford deal update
Marcus Rashford is still expected to sign a new contract at the club with the pace reportedly expected to pick up in the next few months.
The in-form star sees his deal run out at the end of next season.
The current uncertainty around the ownership of the club is not expected to be a stumbling block for United or the player.
Man Utd have many deals to renew and David De Gea is chiefs most immediate concern as his contract is up this summer.
Reports suggest that Rashford is fully committed to Erik ten Hag’s project and declined a £400,000-a-week offer from PSG last year.
    Rashford back in training
Marcus Rashford has returned to Manchester United training having missed England’s Euro 2024 qualifiers through injury.
The in-form forward pulled out of Gareth Southgate’s squad that went on to beat both Italy and Ukraine.
Rashford, 25, picked up a knock in United’s FA Cup victory over Fulham and later pulled out of England’s matches.
But he is back on the pitch again and was pictured training on his own at Carrington.
Rashford did no ball work, instead focusing on fitness as he faces a race to be fit for United’s trip to Newcastle on Sunday.

    Lindelof injury worries
Man Utd defender Victor Lindelof may have injured his toe again while playing for Sweden.
The centre-back played the entire 90 minutes as his team beat Azerbaijan 4-1.
However, Lindelof, who has spent time in the treatment room this season with the foot issue is concerned over reoccurring.
He said: “I broke my toe in September, and I felt it tightening out there.
“It was with the national team in September. I got a stamp so I broke it. It hurt for a while, I had to take some painkillers. I could play, but only had a size bigger on the shoe.”
    Mbappe hails Utd target
PSG star and France captain Kylian Mbappe believes Man Utd target Randal Kolo Muani is a top talent.
The striker is enjoying a fine season for Eintracht Frankfurt and he impressed for Les Blues at the World Cup.
Speaking after their 4-0 win over Holland at the weekend, Mbappe said: “He is a striker who offers different game options to our team. He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play.
“We are happy with the game he played on Friday.”
    Neves in talks with United
Man Utd are “already negotiating” a transfer for Ruben Neves as Barcelona pull out of the race for the Wolves star, according to reports.
With the 26-year-old out of contact at the end of next season, Wolves now face a dilemma of whether to cash in on the star in the summer or potentially let him go for free a year later.
Fichajes claim Man Utd are already making quick progress to land their long-term target.
In a further boost for the club, the outlet claim that Barcelona are no longer interested in the Portuguese international.
Xavi is reported to think the star does not fit the Catalan giant’s “profile” despite reports often linking him with a Nou Camp switch.
    Wrexham’s hilarious announcemet
Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney got a taste of Sir Alex Ferguson’s mind games when announcing a friendly with Manchester United.
The non-league side will face the English giants in San Diego on July 26 as part of United’s pre-season tour of America.
And to reveal the match, Hollywood pair Reynolds and McElhenney filmed a hilarious clip with United icon Ferguson.
The pair nervously start the chat but get nothing back from the no-nonsense Scot.
Reynolds says: “What did I tell you? Mind games.”
After repeated silence from Ferguson’s end, McElhenney asks: “What’s he doing?”
And Reynolds replies: “Living in our heads rent free.”
The Deadpool star then panics and ends the call by claiming McElhenney has to leave to make a hair appointment in Beverly Hills.
It then cuts to Ferguson who jokes: “They were on mute, never heard a thing!”
You can watch the clip HERE.
    Big clubs in Kone battle
Man Utd are set to be joined by Chelsea and PSG in the race for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone, according to reports.
The Bundesliga side want at least £44m for the defensive-minded player.
At just 21-years-old he is predicted to have a big future and would help Erik ten Hag get some younger bodies in midfield with Casmerio, Christian Eriksen, Marcel Sabizter and Bruno Fernandes all around 30-years-old.

    United to play Wrexham
Man Utd will play Wrexham in the United States as part of their pre-season tour in the summer.
The match will be played in San Diego with the team owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, hoping to gain more fans across the pond.
United chief John Murtough said: “This will be the first time the team has visited San Diego, and we are looking forward to playing in front of our passionate US fans at the Snapdragon Stadium.
“Pre-season tours are always a great occasion to give opportunities for our most promising young academy players to gain valuable experience in the first team environment.”
The boss of the National League side Phil Parkinson said: “We’re looking forward to being able to play in the United States for the first time in the club’s history.
“We enjoy welcoming supporters from the US to the Racecourse Ground, and we’re looking forward to being able to play in front of some of these new fans on American soil in the summer.”
    Chelsea keen on United target
Chelsea are willing to spend £100million to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, according to Football Insider.
Man Utd are also thought to be keen with a forward a priority for Erik ten Hag.
Rumours yesterday suggested that the likes of Harry Kane, Rasmus Holjund, Goncalo Ramos and Evan Ferguson are high up the Red Devils’ wishlist.
Kane is supposedly Man Utd top choice.
    Good morning Man Utd fans
Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer does not seem to want to sell the club.
United were put up for sale in November with the Glazers seeking £6billion to give up the reins at Old Trafford.
They have attracted bids from three parties – Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Thomas Zilliacus, all of which fall under the unpopular owners’ asking price.
Elliott Management are also interested into the Red Devils in a deal that would see the Glazers retain majority control.
But Avram appears to be against the full sale of the club, according to the Daily Mail.
It is believed the American supremo was merely on a fishing expedition to see how much his family could fetch for the club at some point in the future.
His brother Joel is also said to be hesitant about a sale, but it is claimed he would greenlight a takeover if the winning bid matches the £6bn valuation, which would mark a significant profit.
Meanwhile, United are interested in signing Benfica star Goncalo Ramos.
Ramos is understood to be disappointed that club chiefs have not yet rewarded him for his efforts with a new and improved deal.
Last summer, the Portuguese giants’ president Rui Costa promised the centre-forward a salary increase which has yet to materialise.
The Portugal international still has over three years remaining on his contract, which expires in June 2026, but he is growing increasingly frustrated with his current situation.
If the 21-year-old does decide to leave Lisbon in the summer, any potential suitors would have to meet his huge £105.6million asking price.
And United were one of several clubs that made a January attempt to sign Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat.
Amrabat was one of the standout players during the 2024 World Cup, helping Morocco reach the semi-finals.
The midfielder’s brother Nordin, who plays for AEK, revealed that United tried to buy him, saying: “I can name three clubs who were concrete in the last two or three days of the transfer window.
“Manchester United wanted a loan with an option to buy deal, Fiorentina rejected.”
Barcelona and Chelsea were the other sides keen on the 26-year-old star.
Finally, United are “already negotiating” a transfer for Wolves star Ruben Neves as Barcelona pulled out of the race.
According to Fichajes, United are already making quick progress to land long-term target Neves in the summer.
The Red Devils are in talks already with the midfielder while the summer transfer window is fast approaching.
In a further boost for the Manchester giants, the same report states Barca are no longer interested in the Portugal international.
Barcelona boss Xavi is reported to think Neves does not fit the Catalan giant’s “profile” despite reports often linking him with a Nou Camp switch.
    Elanga on his future
Manchester United ace Anthony Elanga has opened up on his future and hinted that he could leave Old Trafford.
Elanga said: “I love the club, but it’s important for me to play.
“We have a lot of conversations, not only about game time but also what is happening around.
“That’s the good thing about the club, we talk a lot and they help me a lot.”
    Major storm Bru-ing
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes risked the wrath of Cristiano Ronaldo after publicly disagreeing with his former Old Trafford team-mate.
Ronaldo claimed new Portugal manager Roberto Martinez, who replaced Fernando Santos after the 2022 World Cup, brought a “breath of fresh air” to the national team camp.
But Fernandes disputed the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s comments about Martinez.
The playmaker said: “No, it’s just a new coach, with new ideas. There’s no breath of fresh air at all.
“It’s just a transitional period. The atmosphere in the national team has always been good.
“There are new dynamics, a new coach and we have to assimilate his ideas.”
    Greenwood move blocked
Manchester United have rejected several offers from Turkish clubs for Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood, 21, had an astronomical rise through the United ranks from the academy to the first team but his career hit the skids in January 2022 when he was arrested after a woman made allegations against him.
The striker was charged with attempted rape, assault as well as controlling and coercive behaviour.
He appeared before magistrates and was told he would face trial later this year but in February the Crown Prosecution Service dropped charges after several alleged witnesses refused to co-operate.
The Sun revealed the former England international has spoken to manager Erik ten Hag and met with club officials — but his future at the club remains unclear.
Now The Athletic are claiming that several teams from Turkey have contacted the Red Devils regarding a transfer move but the club has turned down all approaches.
    Missed a Vic
Napoli superstar and Manchester United transfer target Victor Osimhen has revealed he could have joined Arsenal at the age of 18.
Osimhen has registered 53 goals in 91 games for the Serie A table-toppers, including 25 in 29 games this term.
The striker has now confirmed he held talks with then Gunners boss Arsene Wenger about joining the club, only to go elsewhere.
Osimhen told CentreGoals: “I spoke with Arsene Wenger and he wanted me to come to Arsenal but it was not the best option at the time.”

    Dusan Vlahovic boost
Arsenal have received a major boost in their pursuit to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve are now “preparing for life without” Vlahovic.
It also states that the Bianconeri have identified potential replacements for the striker.
Juventus are believed to be plotting moves for either West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca, who has struggled in the Premier league, and Galatasaray star Nicolo Zaniolo.
    Scholes criticises Conte
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes hit out at former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Scholes wrote: “A manager gets sacked so everyone blames recruitment, and a top class manager blames lack of ambition.
“Why don’t any managers say when they’re smiling and shaking hands with a player at their press conference, ‘I don’t like this player, I think [he] will eventually get me the sack.’
“Saves the same old b* once they are sacked or leave.”
    Ansu Fati talks
Barcelona and Manchester United target Ansu Fati have held talks over the disgruntled star’s future.
There is serious speculation over Fati’s future this summer amid reports that agent Jorge Mendes has offered him to “half of Europe”.
The winger’s father, Bori Fati, is reported to have had a meeting with Barca representatives where they discussed his son’s future.
Negotiations lasted an hour with director of football Mateu Alemany and sporting advisor Jordi Cruyff believed to be present.
According to Sport, the Spain international is unsettled and is considering his future.
    Nev-er in doubt
Manchester United are “already negotiating” a transfer for Wolves star Ruben Neves as Barcelona pulled out of the race.
According to Fichajes, United are already making quick progress to land long term target Neves.
The Red Devils are in talks already for the midfielder with the summer transfer window fast approaching.
In a further boost for the Manchester giants, the same report claims Barca are no longer interested in the Portugal international.
Barcelona manager Xavi is reported to think Neves does not fit the Catalan giant’s “profile” despite reports often linking him with a Nou Camp switch.

    Man Utd’s Amrabat bid
Manchester United were one of a number of clubs that made a January attempt to sign Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat.
Amrabat was one of the standout players at the 2024 World Cup, helping Morocco reach the semi-finals.
The midfielder’s brother Nordin, who plays for AEK Athens, revealed that United tried to buy him, saying: “I can name three clubs who were concrete in the last two or three days of the transfer window.
“Manchester United wanted a loan with an option to buy deal, Fiorentina rejected.”
Barcelona and Chelsea were the other sides keen on the 26-year-old.

    Hojlund to name new agent
Arsenal and Man Utd target Rasmus Hojlund is set to appoint a new agent, according to reports.
The Denmark striker has become hot property, after scoring five goals in two starts for the national team.
While he has torn up Serie A with Atalanta, scoring eight goals in 25 games.
The 6ft4in striker, 20, has been compared to Man City ace Erling Haaland.
Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Understand Rasmus Højlund will be set to appoint a new agent very soon, as top European clubs are following him.
“Højlund has five goals in two starts for Danish national team — sounds huge after excellent first season in Serie A with Atalanta.”
    Sabitzer wants to stay
Marcel Sabitzer wants to stay at Old Trafford, according to reports.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed a decision will be made in May and June.
He tweeted: “Marcel Sabitzer, very happy with Man United experience — player would be happy to stay with ten Hag.
“Loan deal doesn’t include buy option, it will be up to Bayern… and Tuchel now. His Bayern chapter was already closed with Nagelsmann. Decision time around May/June.”
Williams appears to inhale nitrous oxide
Man Utd star Brandon Williams appears to inhale nitrous oxide from a balloon near the club’s training ground.
The £60,000-a-week full back, 22, was a passenger in a parked Brabus supercar.

He was seen with a balloon in his mouth as he passed a friend a canister of the legal high.
A witness told The Sun: “It was so obvious to anyone driving by what he was doing.
“Anyone who follows United or football seriously would have recognised him instantly. It’s irresponsible considering he’s a public figure.
“He’s meant to be a role model for youngsters and upcoming footballers.
Taking that rubbish, especially so casually, could be hindering his ability on the pitch.
“There is no doubt his manager will not be impressed by it.
“He expects his players to be completely devoted to their career, especially when they are attempting to break into the side.”
Avram Glazer doesn’t want to sell
Man Utd co-owner Avram Glazer does not want to sell the club, according to reports.
The Red Devils were put up for sale in November with the Glazers reportedly seeking £6billion.
They have attracted bids from three parties – Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Sheikh Jassim, and Thomas Zilliacus, all of which fall under their asking price.
Elliott Management are also interested in investing into the club in a deal that would see the Glazers retain majority control.
And it would seem that is Avram’s preferred course of action as the American is against the full sale of the club, report the Daily Mail.
It is believed Avram, 62, was merely on a fishing expedition to see how much his family could fetch for the club at some point in the future.
His brother Joel, 55, is also said to be hesitant about a sale.
But it is claimed he would greenlight a takeover if the winning bid matches his £6bn valuation, which would mark a significant profit.
    Telles future
Alex Telles’ future is up in the air.
The defender is currently on loan at Sevilla.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano it’s unlikely they will make his move permanent.
While the Red Devils will decide what to do with Telles in the summer.
Romano tweeted: “Alex Telles, expected to return to Man United at the end of the season — no buy option clause in the loan contract with Sevilla.”
He added: “Manchester United will make a decision on Telles future in June/July.”
    Casemiro’s big role
Former Man Utd star Dion Dublin believes suspended midfielder Casemiro will have a massive part to play in the changing room over the next few matches.
The Brazilian is set to miss four matches, after he was sent off against Southampton.
But, he will still be a presence among his team-mates, according to Dublin.
“Whoever takes his position, I am sure Casemiro will be chatting to him about what he expects as well because he has done it and won everything,” Dublin told United’s website.
“I know the players who play in Casemiro’s position – Fred has been a Brazil international for years, Scott McTominay has been a Scotland international for years, but I am still sure they will be having a word with Casemiro.
“Just what he thinks and he’ll be saying listen, this is how to do it, how to play against this team. So conversations are going to be had.”
Min-jae can’t be bothered with Utd link
Napoli defender Kim Min-jae has revealed he cannot be bothered by the transfer rumours linking him to other clubs.
The South Korean centre back was said to be a target for Man Utd. But Kim isn’t having any of it.
“As you know, those rumours are not true at all. I want to focus on my team. I have many tournaments to play,” Kim said.
“It’s been four or years I have had these rumours. It’s uncomfortable. I wish you don’t spread those stories.
“I cannot be bothered by transfer rumours because they aren’t true. Now I’m focusing on the team, rather than that kind of nonsense. There are so many important matches to go and right now I only want to focus on Napoli.”
    Ramos a target
Man Utd remain interested in Benfica sensation Goncalo Ramos, according to reports.
The Portugal striker has been left frustrated that a new deal with the Lisbon giants has yet to be agreed.
And Record report that the Red Devils are still monitoring the situation.
Ramos is said to be “very disappointed” with Benfica for not fulfilling their promise.
    Amrabat deal
Sofyan Amrabat’s brother has revealed that Man Utd tried to sign the Morocco ace in the January transfer window.
However, his club Fiorentina weren’t interested in the type of deal United were offering.
“I can name three clubs who were very concrete in the last two or three days of the transfer window [in January], Nordin Amrabat revealed.
“Manchester United wanted a loan with an option to buy, but Fiorentina didn’t didn’t want.”
    Mitrovic cost himself Utd move
Aleksandar Mitrovic has reportedly cost himself a big-money move to Manchester United.
That’s after being charged by the FA for shoving a referee while playing the Red Devils.
Mitrovic, 28, lost his head in Fulham’s 3-1 FA Cup defeat to United at Old Trafford earlier this month.
The Serbian reacted furiously when teammate Willian was sent off for a penalty handball.
Mitrovic was shown a straight red card for shoving Chris Kavanagh before aggressively shouting in his face.
And the striker now faces a 10-match ban after being pulled up by FA chiefs.
However, Mitrovic’s implosion could cost him a whole lot more.
The Daily Star claims he was being lined up by Man United for a big-money move this summer.
Erik ten Hag had been left impressed by Mitrovic’s impressive haul of 11 strikes – not to mention last season’s record-breaking 43 goals in the Championship.
And Mitro was seen as an alternative to loanee Wout Weghorst, who could return to Burnley this summer.
    Confident Maguire
Harry Maguire has claimed he “can’t remember losing a game for Manchester United” and has nothing to prove at the top level.
The 30-year-old Red Devils and England defender has struggled to nail down a regular place for his club this season – starting just 12 games in all competitions under Erik ten Hag.
Maguire said: “Obviously this season, I haven’t played as much as I’d like but, for my club, I feel like my form’s been good this year.
“I know people obviously look at me not playing but when I’ve played, I think in my last eight or nine starts for Manchester United we have won.
“I can’t remember losing a game for Manchester United, it must be the third week of the season.
“So my influence is still there. But of course I love playing for my country and in 50-odd caps I feel like I’ve never let my country down.”
“Obviously, last season was difficult for the club but listen, I’ve proven myself to Gareth, who works with a wide range of centre-backs.
“He has the choice of all the English centre-backs in the country and every time I’m available, I’ve been in the team. I’m sure if you ask the rest of the lads they know what I bring to the team.
    Eriksen recovering at Carrington
Christian Eriksen has stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury and is currently undergoing rehab at Man Utd’s training ground.
He has just begun doing sessions on grass as he looks to make it back in time to play again this season.
Eriksen said: “It is weird, you are normally away and now it’s more the thing you are following your national team, and you are here instead.
“That is weird, but it has happened before so you get used to it. But, still.”
    Bidders promise development
Both Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim have reportedly promised to modernise Old Trafford.
The bid from Qatar remain confident that they will buy Man Utd and are ready to spend heavily in renovating the stadium as well as investing in the team and community.
Meanwhile, Ratcliffe tabled a second offer on Thursday that outlined stages of development and how long his plans would take to be put into place.
Takeover Update: Glazers split on selling
The Glazer family are reportedly split on selling Manchester United.
The Daily Mail claim that Avram does not want to part ways with the club and that he was on a “fishing expedition” to see how much they could get for Man Utd.
Meanwhile, Joel is said to be “persuade-able” about a sale providing they receive an offer in the region of £6billion.
Additionally, the four other Glazer siblings siblings – Bryan, Kevin, Edward and Darcie – want to sell Man Utd.

    Elanga on his future
Anthony Elanga has opened up on his future and hinted that he could leave Man Utd.
The winger spoke while away with the Swedish national team and said: “I love the club, but it’s important for me to play.”
“We have a lot of conversations, not only about game time but also what is happening around. That’s the good thing about the club, we talk a lot and they help me a lot.”
    Exclusive: Ferguson to snub United
Brighotn wonderkid Evan Ferguson is set to snub a host of suitors to stay on the South Coast.
Manchester United will send scouts to watch the young Republic of Ireland international play against France tomorrow.
Tottenham and Chelsea are also admirers of Ferguson, who is having a breakout season for the Seagulls.
But the 18-year-old is in no hurry to leave Brighton and believes his development will be better served by remaining at a club where he will have more opportunities to play first-team football.
    Varane drops transfer hint
Raphael Varane has named the two clubs he would consider joining if he decided to leave Old Trafford in the near future.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, he said: “I will finish my career either in Madrid, or in Manchester, or in Lens.
“I will not move to another club [other than those].
“But Madrid seems complicated to me. Players don’t usually go back there.
“The most likely outcome today is that I will finish [my club career] in either Manchester or Lens.”
    Southgate defends Rashford withdrawal
Gareth Southgate has defended Marcus Rashford jetting off to New York after pulling out of the England squad
Three Lions boss Southgate was surprised to see Rashford posting pictures on a mini-break following his withdrawal from the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine with a toe problem.
But diplomatic Southgate said: “Once he’s ruled out of the squad, it’s entirely up to him how he spends his time.
“The players don’t get a lot of breaks. They will be flying off wherever after Sunday’s game.
“If they get 48 hours, with the schedule as it is, they have to take advantage of it.”
Rashford’s holiday is not a great look because the Manchester United forward, 25, has now pulled out of five of the last six non-tournament squads he has been picked for.

    Exclusive: Garnacho new deal pending
Alejandro Garnacho, 18, is in line for a new £50,000-a-week United contract worth TEN times his current salary.
Talks over a new deal began in December. And United insiders say there is growing confidence Garnacho will put pen to paper soon, when the small print over image rights is agreed.
He is out of contract next year, but United hold a 12-month option to extend that.
The attacker has enjoyed a fine debut campaign, making 29 appearances and scoring five goals.
Exclusive: Sheikh offers Glazers NFL sweetener
The billionaire Qatari sheikh trying to buy Manchester United hopes to persuade the Glazer family to sell — by dangling an NFL-sized carrot in front of them.
Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani put in an improved world-record £5billion offer to rival Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid a day earlier.
SunSport understands the sheikh also discussed a joint venture with the Glazers which could see NFL games in the Middle East.
Sheikh Jassim thinks buying United from the Glazers, who also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, could kick-start a relationship which would see NFL teams take American football to the Middle East.
In recent years, team owners, including Joel Glazer, have tried to grow the popularity of the game by sending teams to London to play at Tottenham’s stadium.
And Sheikh Jassim believes the idea could give him the upper hand in ongoing negotiations.

    Fratessi interest
Man Utd are interested in Davide Frattesi, according to reports in Italy.
The Sassuolo midfielder has signed a new deal at the club, keeping him there until 2026, but United are ready to test their resolve.
Frattesi’s strengths are in possession and he could feature in the role Christian Eriksen and Marcel Sabitzer have played in alongside Casemiro in midfield.
    United eye Ferguson
Man Utd are supposedly lining up a move for Brighton striker Evan Ferguson this summer.
The 18-year-old is enjoying a breakout year on the south coast and is one of the most highly sought after youngsters in the Premier League.
Football Insider report that Brighton are readying themselves for offers.
Erik ten Hag sees bringing in a striker as a priority this summer and is looking to add youth to his attacking options.
Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund, who has been compared to Erling Haaland, is another potential alternative.
    Casemiro scores for Brazil
Casemiro netted in Brazil’s defeat to Morocco last night.
The World Cup semi-finalists again impressed, beating Brazil 2-1.
Casemiro struck from distance after receiving the ball from West Ham star Lucas Paqueta with his shot managing to find a way through Yassine Bonnou in the Moroccan goal.

Weghorst on fitting in Ten Hag’s plans
Wout Weghorst has started all 18 of Manchester United’s games since arriving on loan in January.
Anthony Martial’s problems with injury means the Dutchman has been unchallenged for a starting spot.
Speaking on his run in the team, Weghorst said, via the Mirror: “All Ten Hag said was that he needed a striker who could fit into his way of playing. He certainly did not paint the picture as it is now.
“Anthony Martial was his striker and he was doing fine – but he is injury-prone and the manager wanted all positions double-staffed.
“That’s what I came for. But Ten Hag did say clearly ‘It is up to you. You can force things and the best one plays.’ My dream has always been to get the most out of my career. To tap my ceiling. It makes me incredibly proud and happy.”
    Good morning Manchester United fans
The billionaire Qatari sheikh trying to buy Manchester United hopes to persuade the Glazer family to sell — by dangling an NFL-sized carrot in front of them.
SunSport understands Sheikh Jassim, who tabled a £5billion offer for the Red Devils, also discussed a joint venture with the Glazers which could see NFL games in the Middle East.

Man Utd have sent scouts to watch Evan Ferguson, according to reports.
Football Insider claim the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the Brighton teenager, who has exploded onto the scene this season.
Man Utd met with Romeo Lavia’s dad earlier this month to discuss a potential move, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Southampton star is said to be a target for the Red Devils in the summer.
Teenager Lavia, 19, only joined the Saints from Man City last summer – but has been one of the club’s bright sparks this season.
City have an option to buy the midfielder for £40million in 2024, but that clause hasn’t kicked in yet.
Man Utd have joined the race for Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic, according to 90min.
The midfielder is out of contract in 12 months, and talks over a fresh deal are yet to progress.

SunSport can exclusively reveal that Manchester United bidder Thomas Zilliacus wants to team up with Ratcliffe and Qataris to complete a £6billion takeover.

The Football Insider claim the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the Brighton teenager, who has exploded onto the scene this season.
Ferguson, 18, recently netted twice in the 5-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Grimsby.
He also has three Premier League goals this season, as his star continues to rise.
    Mitoma blow
Brighton are planning to offer Japanese sensation Kaoru Mitoma a new contract to stave off interest from elsewhere.
Man Utd and Arsenal have been credited an interest with the Seagulls star, following his breakout season in the Premier League.
According to Football Insider, manager Roberto De Zerbi and the club’s board have begun discussion over a new double-your-money deal, which would see his weekly wage rise from £20,000 to £40,000.
Last week, we reported the Red Devils were monitoring the flying winger.
While the Gunners are also said to be fans of the wideman.
Hoddle gives Kane blessing for Utd move
Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has said he wouldn’t begrudge Harry Kane moving to Man Utd.
“Trophies are the icing on the cake for footballers,” Hoddle told Betfair.
“There are players out there who have won silverware because they were half-decent players playing in a team that won things. You can’t say those players are better than Harry Kane.
“So I don’t think we should get too carried away with Harry not winning trophies. Harry has got the best out of his career and is continuing to do so – winning a trophy would just be the icing on the cake.
“We don’t know if he’ll get a move at 34 years old and win his first trophy, that remains to be seen. I’d love to see him win one at Tottenham but if he had to move then nobody would begrudge him. He’s been patient with Tottenham.
“He’s now at a crossroads and he either signs another long-term deal in the hope things change at Spurs, or he has to sit down and tell them he wants to leave. Things need to be worked out because he does deserve to win a trophy.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if he thought he had to move and if the opportunity to do so is there, which it will be, then it also wouldn’t surprise me to see him leave.”

City have an option to buy the midfielder for £40million in 2024, but that clause hasn’t kicked in yet.
Both Man Utd and Arsenal are monitoring the situation – with the idea of making a move when the transfer window reopens.
    Utd join Kovacic race
Man Utd have joined the race for Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic, according to reports.
The midfielder is out of contract in 12 months, and talks over a fresh deal have stalled.
That has alerted Liverpool and Man City to the Croatian, 28, who could be sold by the Blues in the summer.
Now, 90min claim that Man Utd are keeping tabs on Kovacic as an alternative to Frenkie de Jong.
    Onana linked
Man Utd are reportedly keeping tabs on Andre Onana.
The Cameroon international has established himself as Inter’s No1 this season, following a string of top performances.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, United, Chelsea, and Spurs are all monitoring the shotstopper in the few months of the campaign.
The story continues that Onana won’t push for a move, but Inter would be interested in selling if they receive a mind-boggling offer.

Tyrell Malacia has spoken about his relationship with Marcus Rashford down United’s left-hand side.
The England striker has been in amazing form since the turn of the year while Malacia has rotated with Luke Shaw at left-back.
Before heading off on international duty, the Dutch full back told club media about their blossoming partnership.
He said: “We give each other energy, we speak a lot with each other and, in the dressing room, we sit next to each other. We have a good connection, that’s important and you can see it on the pitch.”
    The Race is On
Man United will be fighting on three fronts as club football enters its final hurdle from next week.
They will be targeting silverware in the FA Cup and Europa League and have to secure a place in the top 4. These are what their first few fixtures look like after the international break.

    ‘We are ready to go’
Marcel Sabitzer has opened up on how he’s faring at Man United.
The 29-year-old arrived on loan in January to replace the injured Christian Eriksen.
He told club media: “We have a lot of quality in the squad. As well, in the midfield especially. Very good players, experienced players and I think we have a good relationship on the pitch and off the pitch. It helps us a lot and I’m enjoying playing with the guys.
“I felt it [a bond] from the very first moment on, you know, the spirit in the dressing room and the connection between the players. It’s something special. So it was very easy for me to come in and have relationships with the guys. As I said, I enjoy being in this group and, as I said, we are ready to go.”
    Big Day in the WSL
Manchester United’s men team might be busy with international action but the first team women’s squad are still in the thick of it in the league.
They welcome West Ham to Manchester in the tea time game later as the club look to hunt down league leaders Chelsea.
United are two points off Emma Hayes side and will go top with victory.
And with two of their title rivals, Chelsea and Man City, going head to head tomorrow, it’s a great chance for the Red Devils to pick up points.
    Di End Goal
Amad Diallo believes his loan spell at Sunderland has allowed to mature as a player.
The 20-year-old is enjoying a brilliant campaign at the Stadium of Light and has registered nine goals in the Championship.
He told MUTV: “Since I’ve been here, I’ve played in all the games and so I have felt I have more confidence. The manager and all the staff are confident in me and I think that this will help me a lot for next year. I hope that next year will be a good season for me.
“And, like I said before, I think this loan spell will help me for next season because it has helped me mature, and I have grown lots, on a mental level as well, and feel I have the ability to show this next season.”
    Case In Point
Dion Dublin is convinced Casemiro will pass on his years of experience to his teammates when he misses matches with suspension next month.
Another red card for the midfielder against Southampton will leave him missing from United’s first three domestic games after the international break.
But former Red Devils striker Dublin told MUTV: “It’s going to be difficult but I just think the lads know how important these games are.
“Whoever takes his position, I am sure Casemiro will be chatting to him about what he expects as well because he has done it and won everything.
“Just what he thinks and he’ll be saying listen, this is how to do it, how to play against this team. So conversations are going to be had. Yes, it’s going to be a difficult void to fill but he’ll be back.”
    Bidding War
Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani has followed in the footsteps of Sir Jim Ratcliffe by submitting an improved bid for Man United.
The Qatari investor and British billionaire are direct rivals for ownership of one of football’s biggest clubs.
An extended deadline has allowed both parties to submit bigger bids as they compete to get the edge.
Reports earlier this week indicated that Ratcliffe was set to submit the biggest ever bid for a sports club.
    The New Man
For a while it appeared as though Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani were heading up the only parties with a realistic chance of taking over Man United.
But the Sun exclusively revealed that Finnish buisnessman Thomas Zilliacus is now in the running for the club.
He has tabled a bid of his own but would prefer to link up with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe in a three way push for the club.
The founder and chairman of investment company Mobile FutureWorks believes that would avoid the Glazers benefitting further financially from a bidding war and leave extra billions left over to invest in the club.
Zilliacus, 69, told SunSport: “A bidding war favours nobody except the Glazers. I have reached out to both Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim to try and join forces and am waiting to hear back.”
    Top Qat
Qatar’s Sheikh Jassim submitted a second bid for Manchester United overnight.
His representatives confirmed that another offer has been tabled, according to the BBC.
It’s claimed Sheikh Jassim’s group are “confident” with the offer they have proposed.
They also believe the offer is the best one for United and the local community.
Sky Sports News reported the bid to be worth £5billion.
Current owners the Glazers value Manchester United at £6billion.
    Kovavic linked to Old Trafford
Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a shock move for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of next season.
Chelsea are eager for the Croatian to stay but contract talks are still in the initial stages.
And 90min claim the Red Devils are exploring the possibility of a surprise swoop.
Both Liverpool and Manchester City are also claimed to be keen on Kovacic, who joined Chelsea in 2019 from Real Madrid.
    Good morning, Manchester United fans
Qatari Sheikh Jassim played a game of “dare” with United’s sale agents by virtually declaring his own bid timetable.
And on the transfer front there’s frustrating speculation over midfielders Eduardo Camavinga and Gabri Veiga.
Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, handed in his revised world record £5billion takeover bid 24 hours ahead of Friday’s 4pm deadline.
But Sheikh Jassim only signalled his new offer would be coming before the end of the weekend.
That suggests his team believe they are the only bidders who can come close to the Glazers’ £6bn valuation of the club.
And it could lead to a wider feeling from other interested parties that Raine and the Glazer family might be “playing” them.
Meanwhile, rumoured United and Arsenal target Veiga would reportedly prefer to join Real Madrid.
Liverpool are also being linked with Celta Viga’s 20-year-old midfielder.
And Frenchman Camavinga is tipped to sign a new contract with Real.
Finally, Old Trafford centre-back Raphael Varane reckons United could be his final club.
The 29-year-old is under contract until 2025.
He feels he could return to Real but it’s more likely he’ll remain with the Red Devils or go back to Lens.
Varane: I’ll end career at Real, Utd or Lens
Raphael Varane reckons United could well be his final club – but says olds clubs Lens or Real Madrid are also possible.
The France centre-back is delighted at the way his and the Red Devils’ fortunes have transformed in his second season at Old Trafford
Varane, 29, is under contract until 2025 and he rates not moving again as a “serious option”.
He told GQ in France: “I will finish my career either at Real Madrid, Manchester United or at Lens.
“It’s sure that I won’t do another club, but Madrid, it seems complicated. You don’t tend to go back generally.
“The most likely is that I end in Manchester or Lens.”
Wout on after 33 mins as Holland wilt
Wout Weghorst was part of a “mercy substitution” in the Netherlands’ 4-0 Euro 2024 qualifier loss in France.
The Manchester United loanee watched from the bench as his team-mates fall 3-0 down in a mere 22 minutes.
The Oranje’s terrible start to the match prompted a quick reaction from manager Ronald Koeman, who hooked Ajax youngster Kenny Taylor in favour of Weghorst.

Netherlands fans were quick to respond, with one tweeting: “Ronald Koeman has had enough and takes Kenneth Taylor off.”
Another said: “Very Harsh on the youngster.”
And another said: “Weghorst coming in for Taylor?!!
“Koeman’s head is completely gone I’m cryin’.”
Another chimed in: “Weghorst is on for Taylor. A mercy substitution.”
Weghorst was unable to make the desired impact as the Oranje struggled to create any clear-cut chances.
Sabitzer free-kick ‘better than Messi and Ronaldo’
Marcel Sabitzer netted a worldie of a free kick on Friday night.
The Manchester United loanee opened the scoring for Austria against Azerbaijan, but it was his second goal that caught the eye.
Sabitzer, 29, bent a beauty of a free-kick into the top corner from 25 yards out.
His second strike came after Michael Gregoritsch had added to Sabitzer’s opener.

The United man is currently on loan at Old Trafford from Bayern Munich.
There is no option to make the deal permanent, but United fans begged for the club to extend his stay past the end of the season after seeing the free kick.
One lauded: “Sabitzer with a banger free kick. Better than Ronaldo and Messi.”
Another gushed: “I’ve seen enough sign him permanently.”
A third added: “Nah get him on a permanent immediately.”
And a fourth said: “We should buy him.”
‘Kane bad value unless he helps Utd win title’
United legend Andy Cole has revealed who he thinks they should sign next.
The club have been linked with both Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, but Cole has tippd United to sign Osimhen and build for the future in a similar way Manchester City have with Erling Haaland.
He told King Casino Bonus: “Harry Kane is 30 years old next season and Victor Osimhen is currently 24-years-old and he’s already done a lot at his age too.
“Italian football is difficult but there will be no doubts that he can adapt to the Premier League.
“If Manchester United want to pay £100m for a 24-year-old or a 30-year-old, you have to look at it in the long term.
“The only value Manchester United can get from Kane is if he can win them the Premier League.
“Meanwhile, Osimhen is near the same age as Erling Haaland and look what he’s doing at the moment.
“Everyone wants instant success, but that does not guarantee a bright future for the club.
“Look at Manchester City, they did not have instant success and look at them now. The players Pep Guardiola brought in were always young and he could still sell them for a decent price if he needed to.
“That’s what I think Manchester United should do because they have been caught too many times bringing in players for ridiculous fees and on ridiculous wages who have run down their contracts, I don’t think they can afford to be caught in that position again.”
    Ed Devil looking unlikely
Man Utd look set to miss out on Eduardo Camavinga as Real Madrid open new contract talks with the midfielder.
The 20-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2021 for £26million as a long-term replacement for Casemiro.
Madrid want a reported £115million for the six-cap French international, with United willing to break their club record to sign him.
However, Los Blancos have made a bold move in their attempt to lock down Camavinga, which could jeopardise United chances of pinching the player.
According to The Athletic, the Spanish team have responded to United’s moves by offering the Frenchman a potential €1billion (£874million) release clause.
The new release clause would make it almost impossible for Ten Hag’s team to secure Camavinga, even with the sale of the club looming.
Do you know the way to San, Jose?
Alexis Sanchez has revealed Jose Mourinho persuaded him to snub Manchester City and join Manchester United by promising him the No.7 shirt.
Sanchez completed a shock move to Old Trafford from Arsenal in January 2018, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving the other way.
A reunion with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at the Eithad was on the cards for the Chilean before he moved to the red side of Manchester.

But Mourinho twisted his arm by promising him the iconic No.7 shirt.
Sanchez said: “I was about to go to City. I spoke to Guardiola every day, he told me happy birthday.
“He was like my dad. He was my dad at Barcelona and he was like my dad at City.
“We talked, we talked every day, he sent me messages.
“And everything was ready, there was a player who was going to go to Arsenal.
“Then [Arsene] Wenger tells me you are not leaving because the other player did not want to come and they do not have another.
“Suddenly the cell phone rings. Mourinho tells me: ‘Alexis, here is the seven [shirt] available for you.'”
Erik’s United success a ‘surprise’ in Holland
Erik ten Hag’s instant success as United boss has “surprised” everyone in Holland, according to Chelsea legend Ruud Gullit.
Gullit admitted during an interview with A Bola that he and everyone else back in their home country are impressed with how well the ex-Ajax chief is doing.
He said: “I’m surprised, we’re all surprised, with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
“The Dutch Eredivisie does not have the same levels of competitiveness as the Premier League, perhaps the most attractive championship in world football.
“But the truth is that he was able to impose a work philosophy and the playing formula he advocates.”
Veiga fancies Real over Prem giants
Rumoured Manchester United and Arsenal target Gabri Veiga would prefer to join Real Madrid,
That’s according to reports in Spain amid claims Liverpool are also keep on Celta Viga’s 20-year-old midfielder.
The Spanish Under-21 international has notched nine goals and three assists for his mid-table LaLiga side this season
But Cadena SER say he’d rather join home-country giants Real than move to the Prem.
Veigas is thought to have a release clause of around 40million euros – about £35million.
    Coronation pickin’
The Premier League have confirmed which games have been selected for TV coverage on the weekend of King Charles’ Coronation.
New dates for previously postponed fixtures have also been confirmed.
And there are two awkward kick-off times for Manchester United.
There is an 8pm KO for the trip to Brighton on May 4, which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Then just three days later the away game at West Ham on May 7 will now get underway at 7pm.
That clash will be shown live on BT Sport.
Other games selected for TV include Manchester City vs West Ham (May 3 at 8pm), Liverpool vs Brentford (May 6 at 5.30pm), Manchester City vs Leeds (May 7 at 2pm), Newcastle vs Arsenal (May 7 at 4.30pm), Brighton vs Everton (May 8 at 5.30pm) and Nottingham Forest vs Southampton (May 8 at 8pm).
Just four matches will be played on May 6, the day of King Charles’ Coronation.
Bournemouth vs Chelsea, Spurs vs Crystal Palace and Wolves vs Aston Villa will all kick-off at 3pm, with Liverpool vs Brentford to be shown on TV later that evening.
Why not sign Mount AND Jude?
Dimitar Berbatov has had his say on transfer rumours linking Mason Mount to Manchester United.
Speaking to Betfred, he said: “He’s a talent and I like to see young players making the next step and the next challenge of moving to a bigger club.
“He’s at a big club already, of course, but let’s say if Manchester United can’t sign Jude Bellingham, then why shouldn’t they sign Mason Mount?
“He has the talent and he has proven quality.
“At the end of the day, when you sign new players, you need to ask yourself whether you need them, where are they going to play and who’s not going to play as a result of a new player coming in.”
    Ruben rated at £50m
Wolves have set a £50million price tag on Manchester United target Ruben Neves.
Football Insider claim United, Liverpool and Barcelona all want to sign the Portugal international.
The midfielder’s contract at Wolves expires in 2024, and the club are expected to cash in on him in the summer.
This price could be cut further if Wolves are relegated at the end of the season.
Sheri buried Cole hatchet in a nightclub
Teddy Sheringham has revealed he buried the hatchet with former Manchester United team-mate Andy Cole – in a nightclub, writes CHISANGA MALATA.
Despite banging in the goals for United during the ’90s, the pair were far from pals – with their feud stemming from Sheringham snubbing Cole when he was replaced by his fellow striker during England’s clash with Uruguay in 1995.

Sheringham failed to acknowledge Cole as he was replaced, a snub the latter took to heart and held against his future Red Devils team-mate.
But the bad blood was put to bed ten years after they retired as Sheri told talkSPORT: “Probably about ten years after we finished playing, I was in a nightclub with a couple of pals.
“Andy was in the nightclub and I saw him walking towards me. And I thought to myself, ‘He looks a little bit stern, this looks a bit naughty’.
“I just looked over his shoulder and his wife Shirley was in the background, and I could see her looking over and looking a little bit apprehensive.
“I thought ‘Hello, this could turn a bit nasty’, I don’t know whether he’s going to try and put one on me or what.
“He walked over and he said, ‘Ted look, let’s let bygones be bygones and forget about what’s happened and move on’.
“He put his hand out and I was like, ‘Wow, I did not expect that Andy’.
“But yeah I’m happy to do that, put my hand out and shook hands.”
Mata returning to Manchester for shock role
Juan Mata is coming back to Manchester in the summer, but it’s not to rejoin Erik ten Hag’s revolution.
The ex-Manchester United star returns to the city to curate an art exhibition focusing on football.
The Galatasaray ace left United in 2022 but will be attending this year’s Manchester International Festival.

The playmaker is known for his artistry on the pitch as he won a raft of trophies with the Red Devils as well as Chelsea where he also conquered the 2012 Champions League.
But now the former Spain international has turned his attention to actual art as he teams up with Hans Ulrich Obrist.
Together they will produce new works inspired by the Trequartista, a legendary football position most akin to a modern No10.
Mata said: “It is fantastic to be returning to Manchester, the city I called home for more than eight years, and to be part of Manchester International Festival for the first time.
“I am thrilled to be co-curating ‘The Trequartista – Art and Football United’ with Hans Ulrich Obrist over the next two years, bringing together two of my passions: the worlds of football and art.”
    Scott freed?
With the reported boost in the pursuit of Ruben Neves, Erik ten Hag is reportedly set to allow Scott McTominay to leave.
The Daily Telegraph have reported McTominay is attracted to the idea of a move to Newcastle.
This could mean Ten Hag will be able to upgrade his midfield with minimal effort.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was making his 197th appearance for his country and celebrated by bagging a brace against Liechtenstein in the Euro qualifiers.
It could – and should – have been an even better night for the former Manchester United star as he deserved to be awarded another goal.
In the 8th minute of the match, Man City’s on-loan star Joao Cancelo fired a shot goalwards.
The ball ricocheted off a defender and clipped Ronaldo’s heel on the way into the goal.
But the officials did not see the touch and the goal was awarded to Cancelo.

    Berbatov on Mount rumours
    McTominay out the door
With the reported boost in the pursuit of Ruben Neves, Erik ten Hag is reportedly set to allow Scott McTominay to leave.
The Daily Telegraph have reported McTominay is attracted to the idea of a move to Newcastle.
This could mean Ten Hag will be able to upgrade his midfield with minimal effort.
    In Wolves clothing
Wolves have set a £50million price tag on Manchester United target Ruben Neves.
Football Insider claim United, Liverpool and Barcelona all want to sign the Portugal international.
The midfielder’s contract at Wolves expires in 2024, and the club are expected to cash in on him in the summer.
This price could be cut further if Wolves are relegated at the end of the season.
    Red-faced
Manchester United could launch a £100million bid for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix, reports suggest.
Felix is currently on loan at Chelsea, and has impressed so far.
However, if the Blues decide not to make his switch permanent, United could come in with an offer according to AS, via football365.
The Red Devils are looking for a new frontman to bolster their attack, with Marcus Rashford being the only reliable goalscorer for the team this season.
    Surprise package
Erik ten Hag has left his Manchester United squad “surprised” with his continued selection of Wout Weghorst, reports suggest.
According to GiveMeSport, the Dutchman’s insistence to use Weghorst at all times has come as a shock given the lack of goals he contributes to the team.
Weghorst has his uses, such as helping the ball to stick up front and bringing other attackers into play.
But with just two goals and assists to his name since joining his selection has been questioned.
    Morning United fans
United expect to have at least two massive takeover bids in by tonight’s 9pm deadline.
Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe made an improved world-record £5billionn offer on Thursday.
And Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is expected to match that.
US investment company Elliott have offered to buy a minority stake, no matter who ends up owning the club.
And Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus says he will bid £3billion – but half of that must come from supporters.
He said: “Any club ultimately should belong to its fans. My bid is built on equality with fans.
“The current development, where billionaire sheiks and oligarchs take over clubs and control them as their personal playgrounds, is not a healthy trend.”
Meanwhile, Napoli are reportedly willing to sell striker Victor Osimhen – but only for around £115-£130million.
United are rated favourites to sign the Nigeria frontman ahead of PSG as talk of nabbing Harry Kane fades – at least for now.
Fourth-choice Old Trafford centre-back Victor Lindelor has suggested he might think over his future in the summer.
Finally, Red Devils’ fans on social media didn’t seem too unhappy Luke Shaw was sent off in England’s 2-1 win in Italy last night.
It means the left-back will be suspended for Sunday’s home Euro qualifier against Ukraine on Sunday – leaving him fresher for United’s return to Prem action at Newcastle on Sunday, April 2.
Red Devils’ fans happy with Luke seeing red
Luke Shaw’s red card for England came as welcome news to Manchester United fans.
The left-back was sent off in the 2-1 win over Italy after picking up two yellow cards in less than a minute.
He is now suspended for England’s next game against Ukraine on Sunday.
That means the 27-year-old faces an extended rest before returning to United duty.

The Red Devils return to action after the international break with a tough trip to Newcastle on April 2.
But United fans are safe in the knowledge that Shaw can put his feet up for the England game against Ukraine at Wembley and not play again until United’s match at St. James’ Park.
Red Devils supporters took to social media after Shaw was sent off to rejoice at the fact he doesn’t have to play on Sunday.
One exclaimed: “SHAW SUSPENDED LETS GOOOOO.”
Another sarcastically wrote: “Oh dear! Luke Shaw red card and suspended for next game. As a United fan I’m devastated.”
A third added: “Shaw suspended niceeeeee.”

THOMAS ZILLIACUS has entered the bidding war to own Manchester United – but wants fans to stump up £1.5billion to buy the club. The Finnish entrepreneur said “The market value of the club is just under £3.17bn.
“That means if every one of the fans would join in, the sum per fan would amount to less than £5.”
Meanwhile, Sir Jim Ratcliffe made an improved world-record £5bn offer on Thursday, while Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is expected to match that before Friday’s 9pm deadline.
And SunSport can exclusively reveal that Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is stalling over a new deal at Old Trafford.

    Camavinga blow
    Ten Hag surprise
Erik ten Hag has surprised everyone in Holland, according to Ruud Gullit.
Gullit admitted during an interview with A Bola that he and everyone else back in Holland are impressed with how well the ex-Ajax man has done.
Andy Cole on United’s next striker
Manchester United legend Andy Cole has revealed who he thinks Manchester United should sign next.

Finnish bidder wants fans to contribute £1.5BILLION
Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus has joined the race to buy Manchester United — but wants fans to cough up a staggering £1.5BILLION.
Zilliacus vowed to finance the other half of the £3bn bid.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe made an improved world-record £5bn offer on Thursday, while Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is expected to match that before Friday’s 9pm deadline.

Both believe Zilliacus’ pitch is nothing more than a publicity stunt.
But he said: “Any club ultimately should belong to its fans. My bid is built on equality with fans.
“The current development, where billionaire sheiks and oligarchs take over clubs and control them as their personal playgrounds, is not a healthy trend.”
US investment company Elliott have also made an offer to purchase a minority stake in the Prem giants, irrespective of who ends up owning the club.
Zilliacus, 69, added: “The market value of the club is just under £3.17bn.
“That means  if every one of the fans would join in, the sum per fan would amount to less than £5.
“My group will finance half of the sum needed to take over the club.”
Shaw sent off for 2 bookings in 54 seconds
Luke Shaw was given his marching orders in the second half of England’s 2-1 Euro 2024 qualifying win in Italy for two bookings inside 54 SECONDS.
The Manchester United defender received his first yellow of the match in the 78th minute for time-wasting in a bid to help the Three Lions maintain their 2-1 lead.

And he found himself heading for an early shower a few seconds later after a clumsy tackle.
Shaw, 27, received his two bookings in a mere 54 SECONDS.
Manager Gareth Southgate had to quickly reshuffle the pack following Shaw’s dismissal.
And it was poor Phil Foden – one of England’s star performers at the World Cup – who was the sacrificial lamb.
Sir Jim in with formal bid
Sir Jim Ratcliffe made his formal pitch to take control of Manchester United – 24 hours BEFORE the new bidding deadline expired, writes MARTIN LIPTON.
Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani remain the leading contenders with both due to confirm world record £5bn-plus second bids for Manchester United.
But they face the growing threat that the club could still remain in the hands of the Glazer family – after US hedge fund Elliott Management made an offer to take a minority stake that will allow the owners to STAY in charge.
Sir Jim, Britain’s richest man, made his move this afternoon, a full day ahead of the extended bid deadline.
A spokesman said: “Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos can confirm we have submitted a revised bid.”
The move, a signal fo Sir Jim’s desire to land the club he has followed since his schooldays,  comes after a farcical situation on Wednesday night in which the Glazers’ approved deal-makers the Raine Group gave a last-minute extension to the previous 9pm bidding deadline.
It was a move that left Sheikh Jassim and Ineos group, initially scrambling to work out their next move.
With Raine confirming this afternoon’s deadline, revised and fine-tuned offers will have been made by both parties by this afternoon (Fri), exceeding the previous record for a sporting franchise when the NFL’s Denver Broncos went for £3.8bn last summer.
PSG rated United’s main rivals for Osimhen
United could make Victor Osimhen their “main focus” in the summer transfer market.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio said: “I think Osimhen can leave Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain could be a possibility for him.
“But Manchester United are probably the favourites to take him.
“Man United’s main focus is definitely Osimhen and has been for at least two seasons. He is an excellent player and very particular with his skills of him.
“I think Napoli will let him go for between 130 and 150 million euros and Man United can afford it.”
Victor will ponder next move in summer
Victor Lindelor has cast doubt over his Manchester United future and indicated he will hold talks with the club at the end of the season.
The Swedish defender has been at Old Trafford for six years after being signed by Jose Mourinho.
But this season he has found first-team football hard to come by as the club brought in reinforcements to strengthen their backline.
Lindelof is now fourth-choice behind Rafael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and club captain Harry Maguire.
The 28-year-old is currently away on international duty but faced questions from reporters on life at Old Trafford and what the future could hold for him.
Asked if he found it frustrating to not be playing more regularly, Lindelof said: “Well of course like every player, you want to play every game and obviously I have not done that this season.
“But I haven’t thought about that, right now I’m focusing on the national team and then of course the rest of the season with the club and then in the summer we’ll have to re-evaluate and see what’s best.
“But like I always say when I come here, it’s a pleasure to be here and I’m very happy to represent my country and I’m really looking forward to the games that we have.”
Utd have Prem’s 2nd most expensive squad
Chelsea and Manchester United’s annual wage bill busts the £200million mark – at seven times more than Brentford’s.
And although the traditional “Big Six” are the top half-dozen payers, table-toppers Arsenal are bottom of that list on £98m.
Online independent casino reviewer CasinoBonusCA compiled the table, with Chelsea belying their mediocre season by heading the pile above United and then Manchester City.
    TOP PAYERS:
    Chelsea £212,090,000 Man Utd £211,875,000 Man City £182,640,000 Liverpool £158,788,000 Spurs £110,438,000 Arsenal £97,878,000
Takeover latest – Ratcliffe CONFIRMS bid
SIR Jim Ratcliffe made his formal pitch to take control of Manchester United – 24 hours BEFORE the new bidding deadline expired.
Osimhen could cost up to £130m
Manchester United are favourites to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
But the transfer guru claims it could take a Premier League record fee for United to get their man.
Napoli are reportedly willing to sell Osimhen for a fee in the region of £115-£130million.
Red Devils could nab ‘Liverpool transfer target’
United could nab transfer guru Paul Mitchell from under Liverpool’s noses… if Sir Jim Ratcliffe buys the club.
Recruitment expert Mitchell, 41, is leaving his position as sporting director at AS Monaco at the end of the season.
And Liverpool have explored the prospect of bringing Mitchell to Anfield, according to the Independent.

However, the same source suggests the Reds could face competition from United, who may also choose to target Mitchell.
That’s if the Ratcliffe-led consortium is successful in its bid to buy the Red Devils.
Mitchell is claimed to have been touted for an Old Trafford role should Ratcliffe and Co fight off rival interest from Qatar’s Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani.
US hedge fund Elliott Management have also made an offer to take a minority stake in the club.
Ratcliffe’s INEOS group are said to already have an idea as to what their potential structure at the club will be.
Although it’s not yet clear what exact role Mitchell has been identified as being suitable for at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile at Anfield, current sporting director Julian Ward is set to step down this summer, just a year after taking over from Michael Edwards.
Fans enjoy Ronaldo ‘bromance’ with Dalot
Any stresses or strains Cristiano Ronaldo feels seem to melt away when he reignites his “bromance” with Diogo Dalot.
Fans homed in on Ron greeting his former Manchester United team-mate with a beaming smile, huge embrace and mischievous antics during training with Portugal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner goes into Thursday’s opening Euro 2024 qualifier with Liechtenstein as the world’s joint-most capped player ever on 196.
But Ronaldo bounced around as if it was his first call-up when he engaged with the defender he has publicly described as his favourite squad-mate at Old Trafford.
The 38-year-old’s brutal departure and ensuing move to Al-Nassr was forgotten as he grabbed Dalot for some physical banter.
One observer said: “Ronaldo and Dalot bromance is giving me life.”
A second fan posted: “Football is great with CR7.”
‘Utd probably favourites’ for Victor ahead of PSG
United could make Victor Osimhen their “main focus” in the summer transfer market.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio said: “I think Osimhen can leave Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain could be a possibility for him.
“But Manchester United are probably the favourites to take him.
“Man United’s main focus is definitely Osimhen and has been for at least two seasons. He is an excellent player and very particular with his skills of him.
“I think Napoli will let him go for between 130 and 150 million euros and Man United can afford it.”
Why is Rashford NOT playing tonight?
England are playing in Italy tonight as they look to start their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a win.
But Marcus Rashford will not be featuring, and here is why:
Rashford suffered a knock in Manchester United’s 3-1 FA Cup quarter-final win over Fulham on Sunday.
United’s club statement said: “Our No.10 required treatment after being hurt in the build-up to Aleksandar Mitrovic’s opener for the visitors and was later withdrawn from the 83rd minute, with Fred taking his place.”
Former England striker Alan Smith told Sky Sports: “Marcus Rashford has been in fantastic form but if England were going to be missing a player from any department, they’d probably choose a player from the attacking ranks.
“There are still great options for Southgate to choose from, so England can get by.”

Lindelof to ‘re-evaluate’ his Utd position

“But like I always say when I come here, it’s a pleasure to be here and I’m very happy to represent my country and I’m really looking forward to the games that we have.”
    Takeover in doubt
United could remain in the hands of the Glazer family – after US hedge fund Elliott Management made an offer to take a minority stake in the club.
In what would be a U-turn that would leave many Old Trafford fans aghast, there are increasing suspicions that the planned sale could be OFF – unless bidders match the Glazers’ £6bn valuation.

And some reports even claim the American owners are actually holding out for £6.5bn.
The contest to control the club descended into farce on Wednesday evening when the Glazers’ chosen deal-makers, US banking group Raine, gave a last-minute extension to the previous 9pm bidding deadline.
That left both the declared public bidders, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani and Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos group, scrambling to work out their next move.
Sheikh Jassim withdrew the £5bn offer he had made ahead of the deadline, while Ineos, which had been on the brink of making a similar offer, was forced into a rethink.

Victor Lindelor has cast doubt over his Manchester United future and indicated he will hold talks with the club at the end of the season.
The Swedish defender has been at Old Trafford for six years after being signed by Jose Mourinho.
But this season he has found first-team football hard to come by as the club brought in reinforcements to strengthen their backline.
Lindelof is now fourth-choice behind Rafael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and club captain Harry Maguire.

    Lindelof speaks on United future
Victor Lindelof has dropped a new hint over his future at Manchester United while on international duty with Sweden.
He said: “Obviously I want to play. That’s why I play football because you want to play games.
“Right now I am focusing on the national team and the rest of the season with the club. In the summer, we have to re-evaluate and see what’s best.”
    Elliott Management make takeover bid
Elliott Management have made an offer to buy a minority stake of Manchester United, according to The Independent
It is claimed the bid, which was submitted before Wednesday night’s 9pm deadline, is potentially up to 40 per cent of the club.
Figures involved with the process have long maintained that the Glazers staying on with such a deal is an option that cannot be ruled out.
    Man Utd told Osimhen price
Manchester United are favourites to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
But the transfer guru claims it could take a Premier League record fee for United to get their man.
Napoli are reportedly willing to sell Osimhen for a fee in the region of £115-£130million.
    New takeover bid emerges
Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus is set to submit a bid for Manchester United that will see fan ownership introduced – allowing them equal say via an app.
The Glazers are currently open to potential sale options, which could yet involve a minority investor, with interest so far coming from Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and Qatari businessman, Sheikh Jassim. Following Wednesday’s deadline, both have been granted an extension to submit their second bid…but now a new bidder has now come to the table.
Zilliacus had made his fortunes through novaM Group, a new social media group, and is ready to submit his offer through XXI Century Capital, an investment firm owned by his holding company. The Finn’s unique bid comes via his fan involvement, which will be hugely appealing to supporters.
    Rooney wanted Ozil at United
Wayne Rooney was shut down by Sir Alex Ferguson after he told him to sign Mesut Ozil.
The former Arsenal and Real Madrid midfielder retired from football this week, aged 34.
Recalling the story in his autobiography, Fergie wrote: “Wayne said that we should have pursued Mesut Ozil, who had joined Real Madrid from Werder Bremen.
“My reply was that it was none of his business who we should have gone for.
“I told him it was his job to play and perform. My job was to pick the correct teams. And so far I had been getting it right.
“Well, he was not on our radar at the time. Ozil when at Werder Bremen played wide right, then towards the end of the season played him off the front.
“He went to South Africa and did very well. But wasn’t on our radar. But I explained to Wayne and we get most of our decisions right.”
    Man Utd receive Veiga boost
Celta Vigo will find it “impossible” to hold on to Manchester United and Newcastle target Gabri Veiga, reports suggest.
The attacking midfielder has a contract with Celta until 2026 but club president Carlos Mourino confirmed that he won’t be able to keep him at the Balaidos this summer.
Mourino insists he wants hold on to the 20-year-old ace but his £35million release clause won’t allow him.
EXCLUSIVE: Marcus Rashford stalls over new United deal
SunSport can exclusively reveal that the England international is holding off signing a new contract at Old Trafford.
Rashford has 14 Premier League goals so far this season.
He’s been a revelation under Eric ten Hag during his first season in charge at the club.

Fred’s enjoying the type of international break all footballers would love.

United’s Brazilian midfielder escaped back to the Maldives with wife Monique Salum and their son – three years after the couple spent their second honeymoon at the luxury location.

That time the couple spent £3,500 a night on a sea villa.

And since then they haven’t seen much reason to change their tastes in the high life.

Ron a ‘better man’ after Utd exit
Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he is now a “better man” following his exit from Man United.
The Portuguese star left the club after his  explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

His final months at the club were filled with trouble as he struggled to star under new manager Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo even refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham before his appearance on Morgan’s TalkTV show.
In which he criticised the Dutch manager and the club’s Glazer ownership, leading to his contract being mutually terminated.
He has since joined Saudi Arabian football club Al Nassr on a staggering £173-million-a-year deal.
Ronaldo has rediscovered his goalscoring form netting nine goals in his first eight Saudi Pro League games.
And he has now claimed that he has moved on from his struggles at Man United.
During a Portugal press conference ahead of their international fixtures, Ronaldo said of his issues at the Red Devils: “Sometimes, you have to go through some things to see who is on my side.
“I have no problem saying, I had a bad career run, but there’s no time for regrets.
“Life goes on and, doing well or not, it was part of my growth.

Henderson link could boost Utd hunt for Kane
United could be boosted in their Harry Kane pursuit by Tottenham’s interest in Dean Henderson, according to reports.
Spurs are believed to be eyeing a long-term successor for Huge Lloris, 36.
They were said to be interested in England No1 Jordan Pickford but he penned a new long-term deal with Everton in February.
Tottenham have targeted Henderson as an alternative this summer if United are willing to let him leave, report ESPN.

And the report adds Red Devils chiefs could use that to their advantage in negotiations over Kane.
Kane is believed to be Erik ten Hag’s no1 target this summer but United fear nightmare negotiations with Spurs chief Daniel Levy.
The striker is understood to have an asking price of £100million but there is concern shrewd negotiator Levy could drag on talks until late in the window.
However, Spurs’ interest in Henderson could encourage Levy to be more open to talks involving Kane.
The shot-stopper could also be keen on a move to North London after joining Nottingham Forest on loan to get more first-team football this season.
He has impressed at the City Ground and had become a vital member of the Forest’s progress before he picked up a muscular injury.

    Eriksen steps up recovery
Christian Eriksen could be back for Man United soon after having his protective boot removed.
He has been on the sidelines since the club’s win over Reading in the FA Cup in January.
The midfielder has confirmed he is back training for the Red Devils on social media.
The Dane posted three pictures to his Instagram story confirming the removal of his protective boot.
The collection of snaps shows Eriksen’s progression from wearing the protective boot to trainers to his football boots.
Eriksen was not expected back until April, but looks on course to feature again for the club before the end of the season.

‘Queen of Porn’ begged for Utd tickets
Pornstar Jenna Jameson is a huge Manchester United fan and once begged for tickets to see the Red Devils.
Known as the ‘Queen of Porn’, Jameson was once named the world’s most famous adult entertainment performer.
And she has made no secret of her love for United, once taking to Twitter to ask for tickets to see them in a friendly against Barcelona in 2015.

Asked if she was a fan, Jameson responded: “Yessss. Of course! Huge fan.”
Jameson’s career dates back to 1993 after she started acting in erotic videos and working as a stripper.
Over the years, she starred in a number of X-rated productions and was also seen in Eminem’s 2002 “Without Me” music video.
In 2000, Jameson famously founded her own online internet adult company called ClubJenna, which was known for providing pictures, videos, blogs, relationship advice, and stock tips.
The 48-year-old spent 15 years in the adult industry, performing in films such as Dirt Merchant, Zombie Strippers, Erotic Aftershock and Wicked Weapon.
She also starred in mainstream films including Ali G, Aiii and What Love Is.
In January 2022 Jameson revealed she was being treated for Guillain-Barré syndrome after being left “unable to walk.”
    Takeover deadline extended
United bidders are now playing a waiting game to discover if the Glazer family REALLY want to sell – after the club EXTENDED its deadline for offers.
Both the two declared contestants, Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos petro-chemicals group and Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani made improved bids ahead of the planned 9pm deadline set by deal organisers and US financiers Raine Group.
It is understood that both the public bidders have increased their initial £4.5bn bid to around the £5bn mark, a world record for any sporting franchise.
But it emerged last night that Raine are now holding open the bidding process until the end of this week – the close of New York business tomorrow – in an apparent attempt to entice more potential owners out of the woodwork.
And it still remains to be seen if a bid in that area is enough to confirm to the Glazers, who have set a valuation of £6bn, that they should sell up.
While both Sheikh Jassim and Ineos believe they are the only serious contenders, Raine have indicated up to another eight groups have expressed an interest. Only one of those, US hedge fund Elliott Management, has declared itself.
Unlike Ineos – who want to buy out the Glazers’ 69 per cent share – and Sheikh Jassim, who envisages a full takeover, Elliott are merely seeking to forward funds to potential bidders.
It is more than possible that the other interested parties are also seeking to provide funding rather than actually take over the club but giving bidders an extra 48 hours suggests Raine believe there are genuine options open to them.
But even the two main bidders are understood to still harbour doubts over whether the Glazers will sell unless their high valuation is met in full.
Koeman ‘doubts’ over Utd target Frimpong
Holland boss Ronald Koeman has hit out at right-back Jeremie Frimpong’s defensive capabilities.
Bayer Leverkusen defender Frimpong, 22, has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
However, the former Manchester City Academy star is yet to make his Holland debut.

He was in Louis van Gaal’s World Cup squad but was not included in Koeman’s squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against France and Gibraltar.
That’s despite scoring seven goals and providing nine assists in 35 games from right-back this season.
However, Koeman, 60, has questioned Frimpong’s ability to defend effectively.
He suggested that he has “doubts” over ex-Celtic man’s capability at the back.
When asked why the youngster wasn’t in the squad, he said: “No Frimpong? This is because of the system that we play.
“He plays almost as a right winger.
“My right back should be able to defend well in the first place and I have my doubts about that.”
Frimpong was part of the Holland squad that were knocked out of the World Cup by eventual winners Argentina in the quarter-finals.
However, he failed to make an appearance at the tournament.
He has now lost his place in the squad for the games against France and Gibraltar.
    Muani drops United hint
United transfer target Randal Kolo Muani has dropped the biggest hint yet he could move to the club.
The French forward has been on United’s radar ahead of a possible summer move.

The transfer could see the Red Devils fork out £105million to prise him away from Oliver Glasner’s Eintracht Frankfurt.
And the 24-year-old forward has given the biggest hint yet that he may move in the summer.
Speaking to French publication L’Equipe, he said: “We talk about it a lot already, but I try to be focused on my club.
“We continue our performances and we will see this summer. Afterwards, I always dreamed of playing in big clubs.”
Red Devils tipped to beat Chelsea to wonderkid
United are reportedly set to beat Chelsea in the race for teenage wonderkid Harry Amass.
The highly-rated 16-year-old has already managed to attract the interest of England’s biggest clubs while in Watford’s youth academy.
Amass has shown such promise he was even included in a first-team squad for the Hornets back in January.
But now he appears set to leave Vicarage Road and head to Man United, according to the Evening Standard.

Chelsea had been in the hunt for the youngster to bolster their youth ranks and develop the star further.
But Amass is in advanced talks with the Red Devils over a move.
The England U16s star reportedly believes that training with a top-tier academy could help further his development more quickly than staying with Watford.
Amass has been tracked by the country’s biggest clubs since breaking into the national set up at St George’s Park in 2021.
He was part of the England U16 side who won silverware for England at a Uefa Development tournament last month.
At club level the defender plays for Watford’s U18 side who are currently eighth in the Professional Development League.
    RVP ‘proud’ of Malacia
Man United and Arsenal legend Robin van Persie has heaped praise on Red Devils’ full-back Tyrell Malacia.
Malacia joined United in a £13million deal from Feyenoord last summer.

And while he has been in and out of the first team, he has more than proven his utility as a squad player for Erik ten Hag.
United legend Van Persie played alongside Malacia on 17 occasions while both were at Feyenoord.
And the striker has revealed how “proud” he is at how well the defender is doing.
He told Man Utd media: “I do believe, per window, [you have] to get a couple of the right players in, and Tyrell Malacia is one of them.

    Bellingham snapped signign Liverpool top
Jude Bellingham has sparked transfer rumours after he was snapped signing a Liverpool shirt while on international duty.
The 19-year-old is at the centre of an epic fight between the world’s biggest clubs who are all looking to sign him this summer.
Another outstanding season for Dortmund and his dazzling displays for England during the World Cup have only increased his value.

Fans will hope to see him in action over the coming days as he prepares to don his Three Lions shirt for Euro qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine.
But before the action can begin, fans gathered at St George’s Park to watch the England stars train as they prepare for their first international match since leaving Qatar.
Bellingham was pictured signing a Liverpool shirt as he greeted supporters in what Reds fans will hope is a glimmer of the future.
The young supporter, already wearing a Liverpool shirt with Mohamed Salah’s name on the back, holds up another shirt to sign which Bellingham does.
Anfield is among the destinations where Bellingham could end up, with Jurgen Klopp known to be a big fan of the midfielder.
Liverpool’s hopes of landing him could rest on whether or not the club can get themselves back in the Champions League next season.
But several other clubs with big pockets are lining up alongside Liverpool, including Chelsea, plus Manchester United and City and PSG.
td and Liverpool target Randal would cost £100m-plus’
Manchester United have been told Randal Kolo Muani’s price tag, according to reports.
The Eintracht Frankfurt forward, 24, has been linked with a £105million move to Old Trafford in the summer.
It comes during a stellar campaign for the French international – who has racked up 16 goals and 14 assists in 35 appearances.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a move for him.
According to Get Football News Germany, a bid in excess of £88m would secure his services – less than the £100m being mooted for another Man Utd target Harry Kane.
That is due to Frankfurt having a contract with him until 2027.
    Eriksen set to return?
Christian Eriksen could be back for Man United soon after having his protective boot removed.
He has been on the sidelines since the club’s win over Reading in the FA Cup in January.
The midfielder has confirmed he is back training for the Red Devils on social media.
The Dane posted three pictures to his Instagram story confirming the removal of his protective boot.
The collection of snaps shows Eriksen’s progression from wearing the protective boot to trainers to his football boots.
Eriksen was not expected back until April, but looks on course to feature again for the club before the end of the season.

    Barcelona see Gavi registration rejected
Barcelona’s second attempt to register Man Utd target Gavi as a first-team player has been REJECTED in court.
The Nou Camp giants had their original effort turned down by LaLiga back in January as the club were also banned from adding to their squad.
However, Mundo Deportivo is reporting that the club’s appeal against overturning the first-team registration of Gavi has been rejected.
Barcelona registered Gavi as a first-team player on January 31 after obtaining a precautionary measure from the court.
However, LaLiga filed an appeal against the same as they cited the fact that Xavi’s side had missed the deadline.
The court allegedly ruled in favour of the Spanish league earlier this month but no concrete verdict was reached as Gavi was allowed to continue as a first-team member.
But this fresh update states the financially troubled club appealed against the ruling last Wednesday but had their appeal rejected by the 10th Commercial Court of Barcelona.
That means that Gavi, who is a full Spanish international, will no longer be counted as a first-team member and must revert back to his youth contract until the end of the season.
And in what could be a huge boost for Manchester United, the midfielder will also be deregistered for the next season as Barcelona have exceeded their salary limit.
    Man Utd hold Disasi talks
Manchester United have held talks with Axel Disasi’s representatives ahead of a summer swoop, according to reports.
The defender has attracted plenty of interest with his excellent performances for Monaco this season.
Disasi’s form for Les Monegasques earned him a place in Didier Deschamps’ France World Cup squad in November.
And according to French outlet Foot Mercato, he could soon be on the move.
They claim that Disasi’s agents met with Man United chiefs a fortnight ago to discuss a potential transfer.
The 25-year-old will have two years remaining on his Monaco contract this summer, with the Ligue 1 club set to demand at least £44million for his signature.

    Neves’ next club odds
Ruben Neves looks primed to STAY in the Premier League when he quits Wolves.
Manchester United were a very short price to sign him last summer and remain in the hunt this time around, too.
But it’s Liverpool and Newcastle who are the 3/1 frontrunners to sign him.
Barcelona are 9/2 as they could potentially be on the hunt for a Sergio Busquets replacement.
That’s just ahead of United at 6/1, who have long been linked with a move for Neves.
Arsenal are 8/1, Napoli are available at 10s and a return to Portugal with Porto is 12/1.
