      Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool have Covid cases in their camp ahead of this game, which will bring up memories for Arsenal fans of the controversial postponement of their League Cup first leg in January.
      Klopp said: “On top of [injuries], Covid is not over, so these things, we’ve had.
      “We try everything to avoid but it’s not always possible. Players and staff have no symptoms but cannot be involved.”

      And this is due to the annual celebrations of his younger sister Rafaella Santos’ birthday which Neymar seems to prioritise above everything else.
      But will it be any different this time around?
      Is Neymar playing against Bordeaux?
      In addition to being one of the world’s most talented footballers, Neymar is famously known for conveniently missing matches around his sister’s birthday (March 11).
      So alarms bells were ringing when PSG’s round of 16 second leg tie against Real Madrid was scheduled for March 9.

      Neymar’s sister’s birthday has been labelled jokingly as a curse due to the Brazilian superstar consecutively missing games around that date.

      Leigh Wood vs Michael Conlan LIVE RESULTS: Harper beats Abellaneda, Agyarko beats Rubio – latest updates

      LEIGH WOOD is looking to make a name for himself as he faces Michael Conlan in his hometown of Nottingham. Wood impressively stopped Chinese fighter Can Xu in the 12th round of their clash last summer to secure the WBC ‘Regular’ featherweight title at Fight Camp.
      And the 33-year-old was immediately ordered to defend his title against Ireland’s Conlan, who is signed by American promoters Top Rank.
      Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom won the purse bids for the fight, which was originally touted to take place in both Belfast and New York.
      But Wood will have the hometown advantage in Nottingham, with 9,000 fans expected to attend the fight.
      The winner could be elevated to the ‘Super’ world champion at 126lbs, with current champ Leo Santa Cruz not likely to return to defend his belt.

      The Belfast ace throws everything into a couple of long-range uppercuts but misses wildly.
      Rubio is definitely concerned about his potential power.
      There isn’t punch coming back from the Mexican so Agyarko is happy walking him down and looking for a perfect shot to end things.

      It’s a been a good comeback from Harper, a live opponent who has hit her.
      She could have taken an easy push-over so deserves credit for this contest and performance, at a new weight.

      Harper’s defensive work has been really sound.
      The Brit banks the penultimate round with early power shots and head movement.

      The Argentine lands a couple of shots and Harper does not worry.

      “In light of the government’s recently announced sanctions, we have requested Chelsea Football Club temporarily suspend our sponsorship of the club, including the removal of our brand from shirts and around the stadium until further notice.
      “We recognise that this decision will impact the many Chelsea fans who follow their team passionately.
      “However, we feel that given the circumstances, and the Government sanction that is in place, it is the right thing to do.
      “As a mobile network, the best way we can support the people of Ukraine is to ensure refugees arriving in the UK from the conflict and customers currently in Ukraine can stay connected to the people who matter to them.
      “Therefore, we are offering connectivity packages to all Ukrainians arriving in the UK, and those in Ukraine.”

      Car manufacturer Hyundai have suspended their £10m/year deal with the club.
      Their statement read: “In the current circumstances, we have taken the decision to suspend our marketing and communication activities with the Club until further notice.”
      Zapp
      Food delivery service Zapp issued the following statement: “Given the ongoing uncertainty related to the ownership situation of Chelsea FC, our marketing activities with the club have been paused while our partnership remains under review.”

      Nike are maintaining their kit sponsorship deal with Chelsea for the time being, according to The Athletic.
      The sports retail giant have a 15-year kit sponsorship deal worth £900m, so their decision is a mega boost for the Blues.
      Trivago
      Trivago are the first company to confirm they will continue their partnership with Chelsea.
      However, they have warned Roman Abramovich that they expect a sale of the club to be concluded quickly.
      A Trivago statement read: “As a global travel brand, we believe in connecting and bringing people together.
      “These are values shared by Chelsea FC, an institution that is now 117 years old with a tradition so vitally important to its fans and communities, both locally and globally, and that is why we decided to partner with the club last year.

      The Blues and Newcastle are clubs that have both been embroiled in drama this week due to their controversial club owners.
      Sanctions were placed on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich which will soon see only season ticket holders allowed to attend Chelsea games.
      Despite the controversy, both teams are in good form with Newcastle unbeaten in the league in 2022, and Chelsea winning four on the bounce since late January.
