Cameras showed medics desperately trying to stabilise the Inter Milan midfielder as his fellow countrymen formed a protective circle around him.
The BBC said viewers had complained about its coverage showing “intrusive footage of player receiving medical treatment”.
One viewer described the move as “unacceptable” while another said the BBC had “traumatised an entire nation”.
Another tweeted: “I’m not sure why they didn’t stop the cameras & go straight to the studio as soon as they saw he was getting CPR.
“I feel physically sick having watched this in real time. God I hope he’ll pull through. Only 29.”
    ‘DISGUSTING’
While one commented: “BBC need to think harder about privacy issues and react better when something this horrendous happens live on TV.
“Unacceptable to broadcast wife crying and a man receiving CPR.”
Even Ian Wright weighed in, tweeting: “CUT TO THE STUDIO FFS!!!!”
As well as filming his medical treatment, footy fans blasted the BBC for showing Eriksen’s wife crying.
Sabrina Kvist Jensen was seen in tears while being consoled by Danish players after she rushed down to the pitch.

One viewer said they were “utterly disgusted” by the decision to show her on screen.
Another posted on Twitter: “It’s absolutely atrocious how the BBC kept filming after all that was happening, no respect at all.”
The world held its breath after Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch
And one commented: “Camera man at bbc needs to give his head a wobble filming #Eriksen on the floor and his wife crying her eyes out.”
Three days after suffering the cardiac arrest, Eriksen posted a thumbs up picture from his hospital bed.
He thanked everyone for their support and wrote: “I’m fine – under the circumstances.
    6,417 COMPLAINTS
“I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay.”
Denmark’s players had visited him in hospital with team-mate Kasper Schmeichel saying it was “damn nice to see him smile”.
The 6,417 complaints are significantly less in comparison to other incidents the Beeb has been involved with.
For example, the BBC confirmed it received 109,741 complaints from the public over its coverage of the Duke of Edinburgh’s death.
The figure made the coverage of Philip’s death the most complained-about programme in the corporation’s history.

Shortly after the Eriksen incident, the broadcaster later apologised and said the footage was controlled by Uefa.
In a statement, it said: “We apologise to anyone who was upset by the images broadcast.
“In-stadium coverage is controlled by Uefa as the host broadcaster, and as soon as the match was suspended, we took our coverage off air as quickly as possible.”
Eriksen was discharged from hospital on Friday after a successful operation to fit a defibrillator implant called an ICD.

England stars have private gig by Ed Sheeran as part of Euro 2020 prep for Germany after getting special permission

And manager Gareth Southgate lightened the mood in the camp by having Sheeran belt out a number of his hits at St George’s Park.
Sheeran’s impromptu gig took place on Wednesday, which has so far been players’ only day off during the tournament.
And according to The Daily Telegraph, Southgate’s troops were ‘thrilled’ by the outdoor acoustic concert.
The players were said to have sat around the ‘Shape of You’ star as he played a number of his hits.
Sheeran, 30, was given special permission to enter the England bubble.
Traditionally, the squad – and indeed the manager – would’ve spent their off day with their loved ones.

But the ongoing Covid-19 protocols have prohibited the players from mixing with their friends and family.
Southgate, however, reportedly made sure his men managed to get glimpses of their loved ones by hanging up photos of them on washing-line display on their walls.
The players will be brimming with confidence following their 1-0 victory over the Czech Republic on Wednesday, which saw them qualify for the last-16 as group winners.
Southgate has yet to settle on his best team and admits he could ring in the changes for Tuesday’s mouthwatering clash with Die Mannschaft.
He said: “For the last 12 months whenever I’ve written a team sheet down anything more than two days before a game it’s changed, so at the moment, no.

“We’ll watch the matches (on Wednesday), we’ll see how everybody is once we get back to St George’s and through the next couple of days of recovery and we’ll go from there.
“I think what’s clear is that there are some areas of the team that we’ve been able to build closer to what we think is full strength as the last sort of four weeks or so has gone on.
“Players have arrived late from European finals or (we’ve) been unable to get them on the pitch following injury or lacked fitness.
“And I’ve always felt that we were going to have to grow into this tournament in terms of selection.
“That’s why the squad has been so important.”

England stars Mount and Chilwell ask for special permission for socially distant training after Covid self-isolation

THE FA is reportedly deciding whether it is possible for Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell to take part in full training with the rest of the England squad.Social distancing measures would have to be put in place as the Chelsea pair have had to self isolate since coming into close contact with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour, who test positive for Covid-19 after Friday’s draw at Wembley.
Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell have not trained with the full squad since the Scotland match
Mount and Chilwell have since trained in private at St. George’s Park, and have not come into contact with the rest of the squad.
But the FA is looking into the training methods used by clubs during project restart in 2020, according to Sky Sports.
Players were split into groups of five and trained without coming into contact, tackling was also forbidden.
Mount and Chilwell were sidelined for the 1-0 win over Czech Republic but will be available for selection against Germany on Tuesday.
But they will have to isolate until then, despite both returning negative tests after the match against Scotland.
As a result, they will not be allowed to participate in training unless the FA finds a solution.
18-cap Mount has barely missed an England match since his first appearance in September 2019.

Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell is still yet to feature at the Euros, which means Luke Shaw is likely to retain his place in the team to face Germany.
If the FA is unable to reintroduce the pair into full training Gareth Southgate will have a difficult decision to make over whether to include them in his matchday squad.
Jack Grealish, Mount’s replacement against Czech Republic, produced the assist for Raheem Sterling’s winner and will be keen to start against the Germans.

Euro 2020: England fans warned over touts flogging £10,000 tickets for Germany showdown

TOUTS are selling tickets to England’s showdown with Germany for thousands of pounds.Fans have been warned to avoid buying Euro 2020 tickets for inflated prices through reselling platforms.
⚽ Follow ALL of the latest news and updates from Euro 2020 with our live blog
England beat the Czech Republic 2-0 on TuesdayCredit: Getty
We found tickets for next week’s match being resold for as much as £3,000 for one seat, despite UEFA’s ban on tickets being sold on at above face value.
England will face Germany at Wembley on Tuesday, June 29.
It comes after the team beat the Czech Republic to come top in its group and progress into the next round of the tournament.
The match will be The Three Lions’ biggest international fixture at the stadium since they were beaten by Germany in the Euro 96 semi-finals.
Wembley’s capacity is 90,000 but just 40,000 fans will be allowed into the stadium due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

Intense demand and a short supply of tickets has pushed prices up on secondary ticketing platforms.
Live Football Tickets – a reselling site – is advertising tickets for as much as £3,000, and also charges fans a huge £900 in additional service fees.
On reselling site Ticombo, tickets for the England v Germany game start at £695, rising to £1,366.
Live Football Tickets charges an additional £900 on top of the cost of the ticket
Meanwhile, The Times reported that a single ticket had been on sale on another platform for £10,000.
In comparison, UEFA’s official ticket prices start at €50 (£42.75) for a category three seat, rising to €185 (£158.16) for a top-tier ticket.
However, there are no tickets for the game available on the UEFA website as they were already allocated in a ballot.
Adam Webb, campaign manager at anti-touting group FanFair Alliance, said: “I would advise fans to avoid online secondary ticketing platforms.
“These predatory websites are typically based overseas, they don’t comply with UK laws, and they simply enable large-scale ticket touts to target British consumers.”
The Sun has contacted Live Football Tickets and Ticombo for comment.
    Be aware of the risks
Mainstream reselling sites Viagogo and Stubhub don’t currently have any tickets available for the game.
If you do end up buying a resold ticket online, you should be aware of the risks involved.
According to Citizens Advice, you might be refused entry if you’re not the person named on the ticket.
Certain football match tickets cannot be resold unless the match organiser has authorised it.
You might have an invalid ticket and be refused entry if the event organiser decided to cancel resold tickets.
There is also the risk that you have been duped into buying a fake ticket.
Any rights you might have to a refund or exchange could be affected if the event is postponed or cancelled – especially relevant during the pandemic.
Fans should keep an eye on the official UEFA Euro 2020 ticket website in case more general admission seats become available for future games.
If you have registered as an England supporter on the Football Association website, you should receive an email on any upcoming ticket sales.
Otherwise you might have to settle for catching the action on TV either at home or at the pub.

England in Covid scare at Euro 2020 base as Sky Sports presenter tests positive and is forced out of St George’s Park

The reporter is now self-isolating at a hotel, just five days before England’s crunch Round of 16 clash with Germany.
It comes after Three Lions duo Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell were forced to self-isolate for 10 days after coming into close contact with Billy Gilmour.
A Sky Sports spokesperson commented: “A reporter is isolating in a hotel and awaiting the result of a PCR test.
“The camera operative tested negative and has left St George’s Park to self-isolate.”
It remains unknown whether the positive test will have any further repercussions on anybody involved within the camp.
The England squad are already on high alert following Chilwell and Mount’s isolation.
The pair were forced to miss the final group game against Czech Republic, despite returning negative coronavirus tests while none of Gilmour’s Scotland team-mates were asked to isolate.
Their period of isolation ends on June 28, just a day before England’s knockout contest with Die Mannschaft.

It was deemed a conversation in the tunnel between the Chelsea team-mates after the draw with Scotland was enough for Public Health England to enact the guidelines.
Their isolation means the duo are unlikely to be included against Germany having been forced to miss the build-up to the game.

Speaking on the guidelines, a bemused Southgate said: “It’s a bizarre situation really.
“They’ve spent 120 seconds too long in a fairly open space. It’s full of contradictions for me but we have to get on with it.
“Frankly I don’t understand it at all – there are teams travelling around by plane, coach, bus in enclosed spaces for hours. Our two boys have been pinged for something which is….I don’t get it.”

Fans who submit a negative PCR test and restrict their stay in Romania to three days are also allowed to attend.
    DENMARK
3000 Finland fans were allowed into the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen for their Euro 2020 opener against Denmark.
    ENGLAND*

England vs Scotland will have 22,500 fans attending in total with 3700 from the England supporters club and 2600 from Scotland.
The FA are also reportedly considering allowing fans of the semi-finalists and finalists attend games under a bubble arrangement.

Burnley line-up transfer swoop for Czech Republic keeper Jiri Pavlenka as potential replacement for Nick Pope

BURNLEY are lining up a move for Czech Republic international keeper Jiri Pavlenka. The 6ft 5ins giant has spent the last four seasons as a virtual ever-present for Werder Bremen.
Jiri Pavlenka missed out on Euro 2020 due to injury, like Nick Pope
Pope has attracted interest from Tottenham this summer
However the German club has just been relegated from the Bundesliga, and has been forced to cut costs.
Turf Moor officials have now reportedly approached their Bremen counterparts about a deal for Pavlenka.
The 29-year-old has won 14 Czech Republic caps, but missed out on their Euro 2020 squad after suffering a back injury.
He is a national teammate of Burnley striker Matej Vydra, 29.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche is seeking a replacement if in-demand No.1 Nick Pope leaves during the summer.
Tottenham are rumoured to be interested in Pope, who has spent the last five years at Burnley.
Top-selling German daily Bild claims Burnley have offered around £2.5million for Pavlenka.
Bremen will seek closer to £4.5m for the former Slavia Prague keeper, who has made 155 appearances for them.

Chelsea and France Euro 2020 star N’Golo Kante is the nicest man in football, and one of the richest with a £25m fortune

N’GOLO KANTE is a regular among football’s most popular players and recently broke into the Sunday Times Young Sport Rich List. The Chelsea and France midfielder, currently starring at Euro 2020, has amassed impressive fortune of £25million but he is well-known as a humble, down-to-earth figure off the pitch.

Kante has enjoyed a rapid rise from his early days playing in the French second-tierCredit: Getty – Contributor
Despite his wealth, Kante still drops by local mosques to pray and hang out with fans or even showing up at a supporter’s wedding.
Even on the pitch, his sparkling attitude comes across when deliberately refusing to punish teammates in a fun training game and memorably being too shy to hold the World Cup.
It is clear his humble mantra spills over into his finances too with Kante saving more than a few pennies by driving a Mini rather than a supercar.
And it isn’t hard to see how the Frenchman made it to seventh in the Sunday Times ‘Young Sportsmen’ Rich List, for athletes aged under 30 in 2020.
After signing a new Chelsea contract in November 2018, he is thought to have doubled his pre-tax wages from £150,000-a-week to £300,000-a-week.
The Blues also paid out handsomely after Kante helped Antonio Conte’s side win the 2016/17 Premier League title.
A £5m fund was reportedly set up by Roman Abramovich to reward the squad, weighting bonuses towards those who made the most appearances – such as Kante and his 35 matches.
A similar prize of around £250,000 was mooted for every member of France’s World Cup-winning squad in 2018 and no doubt he will have received another tidy bonus after helping Chelsea to beat Manchester City in last month’s Champions League final.
