Jake Paul backed to beat Tommy Fury in grudge fight by ex-UFC star Luke Rockhold who says Brit ‘ain’t got no dog in him’

JAKE PAUL will beat Tommy Fury, who “ain’t got no dog in him”, according to ex-UFC champion Luke Rockhold. Paul is finally set to face Fury on February 26, who has been forced out of the grudge match twice before due to injury and US visa issues.

It will be the YouTuber-turned prizefighter’s first opponent with a recognised professional boxing record in his 6-0 career.
But Rockhold – who left the UFC this year – blasted 23-year-old Fury’s boxing ability and predicted Paul to win the Saudi Arabia fight.
He told InsideFighting: “You gotta have a dog in you. He ain’t got no dog in him. I’ve watched him fight. He doesn’t even finish his punches.
“You know, he has no commitment to finishing it. He’s a show. He’s a show fighter. And I got Jake.

“And I don’t even think Jake has that much, like, he has commitment, at least. He doesn’t have patience.
“He doesn’t have that f***ing mentality when he gets in the game, I think he’s blinded. He’s got that deer in the headlights, but at least he throws.”
Paul, 26, beat UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, in his last fight in October, his biggest win to date.
But Rockhold, 38, mocked the victory and called to fight the American after mutually parting with the UFC.

He said to TMZ: “Stop trying to fight little dudes. F***ing [155] pounders. You’re a middleweight.
“If you want to fight a middleweight, I got hands. We can do anything we want. I really don’t care. I’d beat that guy in my sleep.”
“I got some freedom to do some things and as you can see, I like throwing hands these days.
“Fight people your own f***ing weight. Straight up. And champions, a real champion, a real contender.
“A real someone who can put you on your ass. not old guys, 55-year-olds, or lightweights.

A source said of Defoe’s split from Donna-Louise: “It was a really bad time in her life. She loved Jermain and it hit her for six.
“It was a bitter pill for Donna-Louise to swallow, but she’s moved on from Jermain now.”

The viral video showed a dog playing with a huge tennis ball.
It then juggled the ball on its head before it dropped to the floor, with its amazing dribbling skills then being showcased.
And fans posted some hilarious reaction to the clip.
One user wrote: “Someone show this to (Todd) Boehly.”

A second user replied to it: “Ain’t no rule that says dogs can’t play in the Premier League.”
A third remarked: “uhoh… gonna cost £250m with £500k pw in wages. only one club will pay that.”
A fourth demanded: “Chelsea sign him up.”
Another referenced Chelsea legend Didier Drogba with their comment, writing: “Didier Dogba.”

This started a thread of other hilarious doggy-themed puns.
Among them were “Bark Ji Sung,” “Terrier Henry,” “Pup Guardogola,” and “Diego Maradogga.”
It comes after Chelsea completed the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk for £97million, including add ons.
In addition, Chelsea doubled Arsenal’s £50,000 per week offer and have signed him to a eight-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge.
With the arrival of the 22-year-old, the Blues have now brought five players in January, including Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos and loanee Joao Felix, who has cost the club a cool £10m loan fee.
Despite this, Chelsea remain intent on adding more to their squad, with them reportedly putting a bid in for PSV star Noni Madueke.
Under the ownership of Todd Boehly, Chelsea have now spent over £400m on transfers, with their winter outlay following on from the £273m they spent in the summer.
With Chelsea finally picking up a much needed win under Graham Potter, the new “attractive project” Mudryk yearned over may finally get its wheels in motion. More

Owen, 43, said Belle was “typically French”, saying: “If you want a slight upgrade on a cat then a French bulldog is for you, and so we have a third dog, Belle.
“French bulldogs don’t bother you when you come home. They will look at you and maybe walk up to you.

Inside Tyson Fury’s short-lived retirement from school runs, dog walks and weeding.. and what brought him back to boxing

TYSON FURY was filling up his day with school runs, dog walking and weeding while retired – but it was not enough to keep him away from boxing. The unbeaten father-of-six returns on Saturday in a trilogy bout against his old friend-turned foe Derek Chisora.

Tyson Fury with his wife Paris and six kids
It is Fury’s first fight since knocking out Dillian Whyte, 34, in April, the night he told Wembley Stadium he was done for good.
But his latest retirement lasted just a matter of months before the WBC champion was drawn back in.
Fury, 34, told BT Sport: “I said, ‘This is it, one more fight.’
“I come back and I had the opportunity to box at home, I felt like I needed to give it to the UK fans, been away such a long time.
    READ MORE IN BOXING
“I really meant it and I had a few months at home, walking the dog, picking up a load of dog s***, taking the kids to school and doing the bins.
“Normal stuff, weeding, weed killer, picking rubbish up and picking up the bins that the seagulls had ripped out everywhere.
“That sort of normal life. It was enjoyable but that normal life I now know that I’m anything but normal, like an abnormal load.
“I need to be always mentally stimulated and I know it wasn’t just doom and gloom – I was here in camp with Joseph Parker.

“None of that combined has given me the same adrenaline rush and same feeling as training for another fight, one on one, mano a mano.”
Fury has even voiced his fears believing his addiction could keep him in boxing for far too long, not knowing when to give it up.
He returns at Tottenham’s stadium with super-fight against Oleksandr Usyk, 35, and Anthony Joshua, 33, in the pipeline for 2023.
But after failing to get either in the ring this year, he turned to the man he already beat in one-sided fashion twice before.
Fury said: “There was Manuel Charr, he was ready to rock and roll. And then there was sort of a lot of negative stuff about Manuel Charr.
“So I thought, ‘You know what? Chisora’s just beat [Kubrat] Pulev, he’s top ten ranked opponent, let’s do the trilogy with Derek.’
“And then we went back and talked a little bit more money with Derek and we finally got it over the line and here we are on December 3rd.
“Derek stepped up to the plate like he always does.”
