Is Diogo Dalot eligible to play for AC Milan vs Man Utd?

Is Diogo Dalot eligible to play for AC Milan vs Man Utd?
Diogo Dalot has been on loan at the Milan club this season after falling out of favour at United.
The full-back was brought to the Theatre of Dreams in 2018 from Porto but has since failed to nail down a starting berth.
Much is expected of the right-back, who is still only 21 and could yet have a bright future with the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was happy for him to leave on a temporary basis earlier this campaign, joining Milan last October on a season-long loan.
Dalot has appeared 20 times for AC so far in 2020/21, netting twice and also chipping in with two assists.

The full back has gained valuable experience on loanCredit: AP:Associated Press
And there is NO clause in his loan deal stopping him playing against his former club.
As such, Dalot could line-up against United in either of the two legs of their Europa League showdown.

Speaking ahead of the tie, boss Ole said: “[Milan] are on the up and have done really well this season.
“I’ve been so impressed by [Zlatan], and Diogo we know. He went there to get some experience at a big club and he’s learned a lot.
“He’s played a lot more games this season, kept fit and, hopefully, we can give him some bother!”

How Chelsea or Liverpool could miss out on Champions League even if they finish fourth in Premier League

THIS year’s race to finish in the Premier League top four is starting to hot up.
Manchester City might have pulled away at the top of the table, but there’s a real battle on below them to qualify for the Champions League.

Could Chelsea or Liverpool miss out on Champions League if they finish fourth?
Since 2018, any side that has finished in the Premier League top four qualifies automatically for the Champions League.
    So far, so simple.
But this year a specific set of circumstances could see one unlucky side miss out on a place in the tournament, even if they end up in fourth position.

Uefa rules state that a maximum of FIVE teams from one country can play in the Champions League.
And if you win the tournament, you automatically qualify for the next to defend your crown.

Whereas if you win the Europa League, you’re rewarded with a place in the Champions League for the following season.
English teams are enjoying a fruitful season in both the EL and CL, meaning the possibility of two Premier League winners is still on.

If two Prem sides do lift the trophies this season – and both finish OUTSIDE the top four in back home – they will take their place regardless in the Champions League 2021/22.
In this albeit unlikely scenario, the side finishing fourth in the table would have to go into the Europa League, not the Champions League.
For example, here’s how Chelsea could miss out on the CL if they finish fourth –
Tottenham win the Europa League, but finish fifth in PL.
Liverpool win the Champions League, only finish sixth in PL.
Premier League top-three head into the Champions League, along with Spurs and Liverpool as European winners.
Chelsea finish fourth in PL, but must now head into Europa League as five slots already filled.

How Barcelona lined up with Messi, Ronaldinho and Eto’o last time they were knocked out of Champions League last 16

BARCELONA find themselves teetering on the brink of an early Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
The LaLiga giants are at the mercy of Mauricio Pochettino’s side, having been battered 4-1 by Kylian Mbappe and Co in the first leg at home last month.

And barring a miraculous comeback, Ronald Koeman’s side will be eliminated at the round of 16 stage for the first time since 2007.
Frank Rijkaard’s men were reigning champions on that occasion, but fell to the previous winners Liverpool in a tightly contested affair.
Rafa Benitez’s Reds had returned to Anfield with a priceless 2-1 victory in Spain, courtesy of goals by Craig Bellamy and John Arne Riise.
Amazingly, the two scorers had just been involved in an infamous golf club bust-up, with Riise having accused Bellamy of attacking him with a golf club after he’d refused to join the Welshman on stage to sing a song earlier in the day.

Both shrugged off the incident for their team, with Bellamy incredibly making light of it by swinging an imaginary golf club in celebration after scoring.
The return leg was a tight affair, as Barca tried to edge their way back into the tie.
Their team resembled a halfway house between Rijkaard’s 2006 Champions League winners and Pep Guardiola’s 2009 vintage.
The likes of Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol and Victor Valdes were all starters.

But they were joined by a host of other stars.
With Gerard Pique still at Manchester United, Puyol was partnered in central defence by Mexican Rafa Marquez, while La Masia graduate Oleguer and French legend Lilian Thuram patrolled the flanks.
Sergio Busquets was just 18 at this point, with Deco instead the third member of Xavi and Iniesta’s midfield triumvirate.
As for Messi, he was joined in attack by two other legends of the game, in Samuel Eto’o and Ronaldinho.
As the tie ebbed away, Rijkaard threw on Ludovic Giuly and former Chelsea star Eidur Gudjohnsen.
And the Icelandic forward managed to get his side back into the game with 15 minutes to go, by converting Xavi’s pass after rounding Pepe Reina.
The Reds held firm to send Barcelona packing, however, and would go on to reach the final themselves, only being thwarted by Carlo Ancelotti’s brilliant AC Milan team 2-1 in the final.
