Mount has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season as he prepares to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
Negotiations between the Blues and the player have stalled during this season.
And that has opened the door to a potential departure, with owner Todd Boehly keen to offload any members of the squad with less than one year left.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are set to make one final push to agree terms with Mount – who has been with the club since 2005.

One fan wanting to keep him said: “The thought of Balogun getting sold still troubles me deeply. He gives me the vibes like he the man.”
A second added in agreement: “If it comes down to Balogun leaving, looking for more game time, I’d rather have him stay and been given a chance over Nketiah, who can be sold, and those funds used elsewhere.”
But another shared an opposing view, writing: “The most ambitious move of all this summer would be to sell Eddie and Balogun and get a first choice number 9. Osimhen would be perfect.”
Another commented: “If it was me I’d sell Eddie [Nketiah] and Balogun and use that money for Dusan Vlahovic/Ivan Toney.” More

But an ankle injury inflicted on Martinelli by Arsenal target Moises Caicedo has ruled the Brazilian out for the rest of the season.
He had already equalled the record with a goal against Southampton during Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with Southampton back in March.

Minutes prior to his injury, the forward was lucky not to see red for an elbow on Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma.
