Former undisputed cruiserweight king Usyk will provide Joshua with one of the toughest fights of his career, which Joyce reckons his fellow Brit will pass.
He told Boxing News: “I will happily take on whoever wins, but I would love the opportunity to fight Joshua.
“I think he will want to fight (Tyson) Fury so we will have to see what happens there, but I am on the WBO track and looking to be made mandatory.
“I think Usyk could be a tricky fight for Joshua, but he should knock him out sooner or later you would think.
“It is heavyweight boxing, so you never know, but Usyk is no joke.
“He is an Olympic gold medallist, a very skilled southpaw, so he will probably pose Joshua problems with his good footwork and ringcraft.

“I do think Joshua will get to him, sooner or later.”
Joyce, 35, is gearing up for a showdown with French heavyweight Carlos Takam, whom he’ll face at the SSE Wembley Arena a week on Saturday.
And the Juggernaut reckons his clash with the battle-tested Takam will do wonders for his world title bid.
He added: “I chose Takam as a good move for me.
“It is all about getting the right fights and I think this is one to get people talking. It will keep me ready too for when I get my turn to fight for the world title.
Joe Joyce will face Carlos Takam a week on Saturday

“He is a respected opponent who has been in with the best, like Joshua and also Chisora, who has been mentioned to fight me but I don’t think he wants it.
“It is going to be a great fight.
“Maybe you will see a bit of both, depending on which Takam turns up, although I think I know what kind of style he will have.
Whatever works to get me the win is what you will see.
“It is going to be a tough test and a real hard fight, also good stylistically to watch. So tune in!”

The undefeated 32-year-old star has not confirmed or commented on his health and has been pictured with fans enjoying Sin City.
And the 6ft 9in ace managed to catch enough breath to threatened the American with an even bigger battering than the February 2020 masterclass he dished out to the Bronze Bomber.
“I wanted nothing more than to smash the big dosser on July 24, but I guess the beating will have to wait,” Fury said.
“Make no mistake, I will be back and better than ever. We will fight Oct. 9, and I will knock him spark out!”
Fury had a December 5 fight in London arranged that was cancelled when he could not agree on an opponent with his broadcasters on both sides of the Pond.
So he will have been out of the ring for 19 months when finally returns to defend his crown.
But promoter Frank Warren reckons all the extra training time will have made his star attraction an even more dominant force.
“I’m glad that we could all agree a new date quickly for Tyson to defend his title”, Warren said.

Jake Paul was in crowd to watch Conor McGregor break leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and nobody realised

JAKE PAUL had a front-row view for Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier last weekend – but nobody noticed the YouTube star in the crowd. The social media sensation was cageside for the Irishman’s UFC 264 trilogy fight with The Diamond, which he lost via first-round TKO.

But the YouTuber went unnoticed by the crowd thanks to his bucket hatCredit: GETTY
But unlike at UFC 261, The Problem Child wasn’t spotted by MMA fans as he was donning a bucket hat that kept him out of sight.
During the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake’s brother Logan said: “When I walked in, I said to one of the UFC reps, ‘Hey, is my brother here?’
“And she looks at me and she turned white.
“She goes, ‘You brother’s coming?’ I go, ‘I don’t know.’ She goes, ‘F**k.’ And I go, ‘I don’t think he’s got anything planned.’
“He came in with a bucket hat and we were surely expecting like a ‘f**k Jake Paul’ chant but no one could see him because he wore a bucket hat.
“And because of that, no attention was drawn to him and he didn’t really get to show off the chain at the event and he really get the chance to distract Conor like he wanted to.
“And I think obviously now, Jake’s plans for fighting Conor have been a little watered down because of the whole missing ankle thing.
“You got no leg. No leg, no contract.”
McGregor, 33, suffered a horrific broken leg in his rubber match with fan favourite Poirier.
And he’s been on the receiving end of some vicious trolling from Paul – who has been trying to land a fight with him for the best part of seven months – ever since.

Paul also slammed the Irishman for his post-fight interview, in which he called Poirier’s wife – Jolie – a ‘h*e’.
On Tuesday, he said of the UFC’s poster boy: “He’s a piece of s**t.
“He’s sitting there on the ground after losing, talking s**t to Dustin Poirier’s wife.
“I don’t feel bad at all. I think he deserves it. I think it’s hilarious. I hope he takes a picture with it and posts it on Instagram.
“I just love to see McGregor plummet. He was a meteoric star that’s now just taking a nosedive.
“Before I wanted to fight him and I offered him $50 million, now my offer is $23.”
Paul is currently gearing up for a showdown with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, whom he’ll meet in a boxing match next month.

Watch Anthony Joshua ‘floor’ ex-UFC star with jumping knee as he takes a leaf out of Tyson Fury’s book in MMA training

ANTHONY JOSHUA showed off his MMA-style flying knee while training with former UFC middleweight Luke Barnatt. The unified heavyweight champion is currently holidaying in Spain before returning to his training camp back home for his defence agains Oleksandr Usyk.
Anthony Joshua showed off his flying knee while enjoying some MMA training

But despite the getaway, AJ is still staying active by visiting Barnatt’s gym Marbella.
He uploaded a video hitting the pads with one of his coaches, Angel Fernandez, as they prepare to fight Usyk in September.
However, Joshua, 31, then switched it up by trying his hand at MMA, getting a striking masterclass from Barnatt, who last fought in December 2020.
AJ drilled kicks, one-two’s and most impressively flying knees, one of which Barnatt pretended knocked him out.
Joshua is not the only heavyweight boxer to have had MMA training, with Tyson Fury linking up with UFC middleweight Darren Till in 2019.
Fury once claimed he would entertain a switch to the UFC but only after retiring from boxing.
But more recently, he changed his mind and revealed he would only be up for fighting in smaller gloves, without any grappling involved.
Fury told talkSPORT: “No, I’ve got no real interest in grappling up and down on the floor and all that sort of stuff.

“I’m a stand-up fighting man, I don’t wrestle up and down and grab each other’s arms and sit on each other and all that.
“I’ve no interest in all that stuff – I like to stand up and fight so would I ever compete as an MMA fighter? Hell no!
“Would I compete with small gloves on in a cage in a fight? Yes. But no gripping and grappling.
“The noble art of standing up and what men have been doing for centuries. I don’t see any noble science in wrestling up and down the floor.”
UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, 34, has called out both Joshua and Fury before, having eyed a boxing career before his MMA debut.
He was even linked with a two-fight deal against ex-kickboxer Dillian Whyte who won his only MMA fight, in 2018.

Money was widely criticised for not being able to stop the boxing novice in their Miami showdown, a bout Tyson believes is a sign the sport has taken its toll on him.
During the latest episode of his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, he said: “You see, Floyd [Mayweather], he is damaged.
“He is damaged. He wants to come back and fight. You see, that’s what that does.
“I came back, that’s not right. It f**ks you up. It is damaged.
“Listen, I didn’t feel that way, I never wanted to do this s**t again, and I don’t know what it is, I wish I could, but I’m just taking advantage of what this game is, you get me?”
Tyson’s comments will further fuel the 20-year feud between himself and Mayweather, whom he was once close with.
Mayweather looked a shadow of the man who toyed with former UFC champion Conor McGregor four years ago and has no intention of setting foot inside the ring again.

After the fight, he said: “Will I make a comeback? Absolutely not. I have retired from the sport of boxing.
“I probably won’t do an exhibition again either.”
Tyson, 55, returned to the squared circle last November for an exhibition with fellow legend Roy Jones Jr.
The former world champions turned in better than expected displays, with Tyson impressing many with his trademark ferocity.
Iron Mike is hoping to return to the ring later this year and has set his sights on rematches with former foes Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield.

The former undisputed heavyweight champ said: “I want [Evander] Holyfield and Lewis this year.
“I want both of them, I want to get them both this year.
“I also want to box an exhibition with Tyson Fury.
“If I do that – even if I can get those two guys, I’ll say; ‘This is a wrap, I’m just gonna live life.’
“And that’s just exhibitions. I’m gonna break all my professional true records with exhibitions.”

“That’s exactly why we’re staying in the gym and staying ready. If they’re looking my way come and bring it I’m ready.”
Ruiz Jr, 31, turned in a less than impressive display against Arreola in his first outing since losing his December 2019 rematch with Joshua.
And the Mexican-American was brutally ridiculed by Whyte, who told iFL TV: These guys make me laugh man.
