NEYMAR has snubbed Paris Saint-Germain’s attempts to extend his contract as he eyes a return to Barcelona.
The French club are desperate to keep the Brazilian supertstar beyond his current deal which runs until the summer of 2022.

But having rejected Barca’s £236million package to take him back to the Nou Camp before the start of this season, PSG are not facing another battle to keep their biggest asset.
Spanish title Sport report that the 27-year-old has no interest in even discussing extending his stay in Paris with his mind seemingly focused only on Barcelona.
Though his father and PSG began talking about a new deal a year ago, in truth it is claimed that they do not want to find any agreement.
It has seen Neymar’s dad slap down a series of demands that are beyond the reach of the French champions, making it hard for any progress to be made.
Now the forward is showing even less interest having made his mind up that he wants to quit France and return to Spain.
It is almost certain that the LaLiga giants will attempt to revive their interest in their old player over the course of 2020.
Director of footbal Eric Abida last week admitted that despite missing out on him over the summer, they have not given up hope of getting their man soon.
Neymar is now in a position where he can threaten to run down his contract in Paris and be able leave in a free transfer in 2022.
That would force PSG into having to make a big decision on whether they are willing to take a massive financial hit just by insisting he stays.
The Brazilian is at an age where the club can still demand a huge transfer fee for selling – but every year they delay from now could see that premium drop.
There is a belief in Barcelona that they already won’t need to come up with the kind of money they were prepared to pay earlier this year in order to strike a deal.
The latest suggestion as the club believe they can get their man for around £153m next summer, with Neymar willing to sacrifice £17m himself to help buy his way out of PSG.
