TOTTENHAM No1 Hugo Lloris is targeting a return to football as early as January after his horror elbow injury.

Having undergone surgery, there were doubts over whether Lloris would even be fit again this season – but he could now be back by early 2020.
This week, Lloris spent time with his France team-mates, even though he is out of action, for games with Moldova and Albania.
While away, he revealed: Everything’s well. There can always be hazards, but my goal is to be ready for January.
“Whether it’s the beginning, the middle or the end, I don’t know.
“In any case, I’ll take time to make sure I’m well healed and that I can come back in top form.
“I’m also using the time to regenerate myself. I’ve never been away from the pitch for so long, so it’s something new, but I’m treating it positively.
“I’m using this period to spend time with my family and my children.
“I’m in good hands and we’re moving forward calmly. Everything’s been done as it should have been.
“Now, we have to focus on rehabilitation, strengthening, gradually gaining mobility and confidence.”
France have now officially qualified for Euro 2020 after battling from behind to beat minnows Moldova 2-1 at home.
Having gone a goal down in the opening ten minutes, Raphael Varane levelled before half-time, with Olivier Giroud converting a 79th-minute penalty to grab the win.
When asked why he was away with France despite his injury, Lloris replied: “It’s always a pleasure to meet up with your mates.
“Then of course there was the victory, even if it was difficult to achieve.”
