MARCUS RASHFORD has wowed one Manchester United fan by gifting the “superstar” NHS worker two Old Trafford tickets.
A tweet sent to the England forward by Red Devil supporter Josh Howes earned a surprise response in recognition of his work in battling coronavirus.

The fan posted a photo of himself and his wife, Sian, as they worked for the NHS in protective equipment for 13 hours a day.
He wrote on Twitter: “I miss football!!!!
“Marcus Rashford how’s the recovery going??? Wishing you well man. Literally can’t wait to see you rip it up again!
“Me and the wife can get some tickets for O.T and we can stop having to wear this nonsense for 13 hours a day!”
Upon seeing the tweet, Rashford thanked Josh and Sian for “everything you’re doing” and promised them two free tickets to a United game when football is back up and running.
The 22-year-old commented: “I’ve got 2 tickets reserved for you mate.
“Looking forward to celebrating the real superstars around here.”
Josh replied: “No way!!!! I didn’t actually expect you to see it let alone reply! What a guy! Thank you so much. Together we can beat Coronavirus.”
And his wife Sian wrote: “Thank you very much Marcus Rashford, that’s a very VERY kind gesture! Take care, stay safe and see you when this all blows over.”
It is not even the first time the striker has made a fan’s day on social media during the pandemic lockdown.
A six-year-old who wrote to Rashford as part of a school project earned a shock response, the pair sharing in how much they were missing football.
Children going without free school meals are also being supported by the United star.
Rashford was one of several footballers teaming up with FareShare to help kids most in need during the coronavirus crisis – the scheme raising £20million.
Speaking of how he relied on free school meals while growing up, he stated earlier this month: “I am just trying to impact the next generation in a positive way.

“I have done a lot of work with children and when I heard about the schools shutting down, I knew some kids would not be getting free meals.
“When I was at school, I was on free meals and my mum wouldn’t get home until around six o’clock so my next meal would have been about eight o’clock.
“I was fortunate. There are kids in much more difficult situations who don’t get their meals at home.”
In addition, United players are set to donate 30 per cent of a month’s wages to help local NHS staff.
