A total of 550 people have seen their salaries cut for two months.
And some have been placed on furlough, which will allow them to claim 80 per cent of their wages from the government up to a monthly maximum of £2,500.
But with some of world football’s top clubs also cutting back on player wages, Spurs chief Levy has warned the likes of Mourinho, Harry Kane and the rest of the players are next in line.
Mourinho pockets an incredible £290,000-a-week at the London club, while Kane makes £200k-a-week.
Levy, who was the Prem’s best-paid exec last season with £7million, confirmed in a club statement: “The club’s operations have effectively ceased, some of our fans will have lost their jobs and most will be worried about their future.
“The Club has an annual cost base running into hundreds of millions of pounds.

“We have seen some of the biggest clubs in the world such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus take steps to reduce their costs.
“We ourselves made the difficult decision to reduce the renumeration of all 550 non-playing directors and employees for April and May by 20 per cent utilising, where appropriate, the Government’s furlough scheme.
“We hope the current discussions between the Premier League, PFA and LMA will result in players and coaches doing their bit for the football eco system.”
Meanwhile, Spurs have been fined £18,000 after Uefa blamed Jose Mourinho for delaying the Champions League match against RB Leipzig by three minutes.
There are further worries for the capital club after Harry Kane announced he will not remain for the sake of sentiment.
And there are fears Jan Vertonghen will leave on a free transfer this summer after he reportedly rejected a new contract amid interest from Ajax.
