MANCHESTER UNITED fans have levelled the blame for the club’s 2-2 draw at Tottenham at the feet of Erik ten Hag.
The Red Devils sailed into the lead thanks to Jadon Sancho’s early strike before Marcus Rashford doubled the lead just before half-time.
But United would go on to blow the lead after goals from Pedro Porro and Son Heung-Min cancelled out those efforts.
And fans have planted the blame for the dropped two points at Ten Hag’s door.
They took issue with his substitutions as none of them made the desired impact.
The Dutchman replaced Christian Eriksen and Sancho for Fred and Anthony Martial in the 61st minute.

He then fired off another double change ten minutes later in the form of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Antony being replaced by Tyrell Malacia and Wout Weghorst.
However, Fred seemed to misplace every pass, Martial was a passenger, Malacia gave Harry Kane the freedom to set up the equaliser and Weghorst proved to be ineffective.
Fans blasted the Dutchman’s tactics on Twitter, with one saying: “Ten Hag has started making the wrong substitutions. Should have just left that starting 11.”
A second commented: “Erik ten Hag’s substitutions were a mess.”

A third typed: “I don’t want to blame Ten Hag but the subs killed the game. After the first half the only substitution we needed was Antony off for Sabi and Bruno to the right.”
A fourth remarked: “Erik ten Hag took a wrecking ball to Manchester United’s performance with his substitutions.
“Fred gave arguably his worst-ever display and constantly lost the ball, Weghorst offered absolutely nothing yet again and Malacia became a liability.”
While a fifth added: “Erik Ten Hag was to blame for his totally outrageous substitutions!! Why did he go into panic mode and get brain fog??
“To replace Eriksen for Fred, Sancho for Martial, Wan-Bissaka for Malacia and then Antony for Weghorst!! He got it so wrong….”
Another raged: “Ten Hag made another dumb substitution to bring on Weghorst. Nah…he shoulda lost the match!!!”
The result ensured United’s gap to Spurs remained at six points – with the Red Devils also holding two games in hand over their top four rivals.
United may choose to try and solve their issues next season by introducing Harry Kane to their squad, with United fans singing a cheeky chant during last night’s match.
