The Red Devils have won just two of their last seven matches in all competitions.

And midfielder Pogba, 28, said: “We’ve been having these kind of games for a long time and we haven’t solved the problem, conceding easy, stupid goals.

“Fans are going to push, there’s going to be pressure on us and everything. We need to be mature and play with more experience and arrogance in a good way.

“We need to find something, we need to change.

“Now we have to find what’s key to the games we lose, because we deserved to lose. It’s frustrating.

“We need to find the right mentality and tactic.”

Solskjaer admitted he made a mistake in bringing back Harry Maguire after the captain completed one training session following a calf injury.

Maguire’s error led to Youri Tielemans’ first-half equaliser after Mason Greenwood’s rocket.

And  the return of the England defender could not prevent United shipping three more bad goals — including two from  set-pieces.

Boss Ole said: “He’s a  massive player for us, he’s our captain.

“He worked hard with the physios. If that doesn’t work out — and sometimes it doesn’t — and when we concede four, I probably made a few bad decisions.”

As well as Maguire, Pogba and Jadon Sancho were also poor but there was a goal-scoring comeback for Marcus Rashford.

United host Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday before arch- rivals Liverpool visit Old Trafford next Sunday.

Solskjaer, 48, added: “The whole performance, it wasn’t good enough.

“We need to look at the whole set-up of the team.

“It shouldn’t be a wake- up call because we’ve had them before.

“They’ve got to look at themselves in the mirror. I’ve already looked at myself. You’ve got to respond to setbacks.”

We deserved to lose. To be honest, we have been having these kind of games for a long time.

United were also forced to defend their decision to fly the 100 miles to the East Midlands on Friday.

The club stated they would not normally fly but plans changed due to “circumstances”.

Leicester, who also scored through Caglar Soyuncu, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka, were excellent value for their first Prem win since August.

Boss Brendan Rodgers said: “It was more like what we’re used to seeing.

“It was a really aggressive, emotional game and when we press the opposition like that it makes us very difficult to play against.

“We scored four goals — and we could have scored more.”
