TEOFIMO LOPEZ took a MONSTER punch to the stomach from super-heavyweight Hafthor Bjornsson.
The unified lightweight champion – who weighs 14 STONE less – was taking part in the ‘body shot challenge’.
So he allowed Game of Thrones star Bjornsson – affectionately known as ‘Thor’ – to smash him in the mid-rift with a massive right hook.
To Lopez’s credit he took the blow like a champ and laughed it off, while clearly feeling the affects but got his own back with a body shot of his own.
Bjornsson, 32, has spent the last year training in boxing as he prepares for a grudge match against strongman rival Eddie Hall, 33.
He has competed in three exhibition bouts, against Irish cruiserweight Steven Ward, 31, English heavyweight Simon Vallily, 36, and most recently Canadian Larratt, 46.
Bjornsson was due to fight Hall last month until his British rival withdrew injured, postponing the clash till March 2022.
Meanwhile Lopez, 23, is unbeaten in 16 fights and dethroned lightweight king Vasiliy Lomachenko, 33, in October last year.
He has been scheduled to face mandatory challenger Georges Kambosos Jr, 28, but a bout with coronavirus and TV network disputes held it up.
Now DAZN have inherited the broadcast rights from Triller and have set the title fight for November 27 in New York.
But afterwards, Lopez has already verbally agreed a fight with rival Devin Haney who holds the WBC title.
Haney, 22, is looking to return by December and sent out an offer to JoJo Diaz, 28, a former super-featherweight title.
Diaz was in line to fight Ryan Garcia, 23, until the unbeaten lightweight pulled out with a shoulder injury.
