But according to France Football, Ben Yedder has decided he wants to quit Monaco after just one season in the Principality.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are also thought to be checking on his availability this summer.
But Arsenal and United have registered most interest in the former Sevilla star, who was signed by Monaco for £37.1million last summer.
Arsenal face losing skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the upcoming window, or the following season when his contract expires, and manager Mikel Arteta is already drawing up replacements.
Monaco are said to value Ben Yedder at around £40m.
The forward, who has eight caps for France, notched an impressive 70 goals from 138 games for Sevilla sparking interest from Barcelona.
He had previously told Onze Mundial: “Barcelona could have happened much earlier for me.
“Last summer they made contacts for me, they collected a lot of information about me and the same was true this winter, but the move did not happen.
“It shows I am doing a good job, but despite this interest I am totally focused on my performances with Monaco.”
