Paul revealed he found the insult funny but absolutely butchered an attempt at impersonating the UFC legend.
He said on Logan’s Impaulsive podcast: “I think Conor McGregor is funny as f***.
“Like when I watch him talk shit about me and he’s like, ‘Oh yeah, that lad he’s a bit windy. He’s a bit windy and he’s a f*****g donkey.’
“I don’t know how to do it, but I’m like, Yeah, bro. But guess what Conor? I’d beat the f*****g f*** out of you and you can’t box as good as me.

“I’m going to do to Nate what you couldn’t which is knock him the f*** out and you’re going to be sitting there with your new beer company – that’s is failing – drinking it, drunk as f***, realising that you p****d your life away drinking at the end of the bottle.
“And you’re gonna say, ‘Damn, I really thought no one was going to do what I did in this sport, I really thought no one was going to be as big of a name, I really thought I was going to be the biggest forever.’
“But you can’t choose and you can’t have both lives.”
Paul, 26, has continued to call out McGregor, 34, ever since his professional boxing debut in 2020.

He returns against McGregor’s ex-opponent Diaz, 38, in Texas just six months after suffering his first loss, to Tommy Fury, 24.
Meanwhile, McGregor is set to make his UFC comeback this year against Michael Chandler, 37, after two years out with injury.
The former two-weight champion has boxed just once before, losing to American great Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
But he needed special permission from the UFC to do so as Paul took a swipe at McGregor and Dana White.
He said: “That money fight will always be there and when I knock Nate Diaz the f*** out and you realise I’m the biggest fight for you, call me.
“And I’ll answer, and I’m my own boss, I make my own decisions.
“I’m not controlled by Dana White, I don’t have a dad so I can make the fight happen.
“But if Dana lets you make the fight happen then we can run it.”

Conor McGregor calls Jake Paul a ‘DONKEY’ and reveals fight prediction between YouTube star and ex-UFC rival Nate Diaz

It came after he walked out on the UFC, where he had two classic bouts with McGregor.
And it seems there is no hard feelings for the Irishman, who is tipping Diaz to beat Paul.
He told Matchroom Boxing’s YouTube channel: “I fancy him for it.
“He’s a donkey that guy, the other cat, but a donkey has kick, so you’ve got to be weary of that.

“But, Nate will be peppering him, he’ll hit his face in and it will be Nate.”
Paul, 26, suffered his first ever defeat in February, losing a split-decision to celebrity boxing rival Tommy Fury, 24, in Saudi Arabia.
But he snubbed a rematch to instead focus on Diaz, 38, who was a free agent after his UFC contract expired.
It leaves a trilogy decider with McGregor, 34, up in the air but the former two-weight champion still has admiration Diaz and brother Nick, 39.

He said: “Yeah, yeah, [the relationship] is competitive, but it’s always been respect.
“It’s always been respect, how could you not respect the Diaz brothers and their resume in the fight game.
“Real fighters, what’s his promotion? Real fighters inc, fair play to him. You know, he’s a great fighter.
“I spent, how many minutes did I spend in the octagon with him? 40 minutes, over half an hour.
“Around 40 minutes inside the cage with the lad, it’s always going to be respect off of that.
“And he gave the rematch instantly. That’s commendable, that’s real warrior stuff. So, for sure, I’m happy to see that respect, you know.”

Paul, 26, was beaten for the first time in February, losing a split-decision in Saudi Arabia to Tommy Fury, 23.
He then snubbed a rematch to instead turn his attention to Diaz, 38, who left the UFC last year when his contract expired.
Paul said: “Nate Diaz was always the plan. I’ve always said – even in the Tommy Fury build up – that I wanted Nate Diaz after Tommy.
“And that really was regardless of the outcome, I’ve always wanted to fight Nate Diaz, so he was always next on my list.
“There’s always a bunch of options and one day you’re like, ‘I want to do this, I want to do that.’
“But I went back to the Nate Diaz idea as like the original plan and he was ready and wiling to make the fight happen and it just made more sense than the Tommy Fury rematch right away.”

Conor McGregor’s ex-sparring partner makes stunning prediction for fight between UFC icon and Jake Paul

And the former world champion boxer has shown no signs of letting his grudge go in the years since.
It has led him to pick YouTuber-turned prizefighter Paul, 26, beating McGregor, 34, in the ring amid the prospect of a mega-fight.
Malignaggi, 42, told Betway: “I think Jake Paul would knock Conor out.
“Conor is too susceptible to those loopy shots and Jake hits hard enough that only needs to hit you with one or two of them.

“I think Conor has decent sharp shots but I don’t think Conor has the discipline to stay with those little sharp shots for a certain amount of rounds.
“I think he would fall apart because he doesn’t have a lot of heart. Conor has no balls.
“If you take Conor a few rounds he already has this very big discomfort and mistakes naturally create themselves. You don’t even have to create them anymore.
“I think he would do OK for a couple of rounds, but if you didn’t get Jake out in a couple of rounds, I think Jake would knock him out, and he would probably knock out with a big shot.”

McGregor sparred Malignaggi twice before his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
But following leaked images and footage of the session, Malignaggi stormed out of the Irishman’s camp.
McGregor would go on to lose to Mayweather in ten rounds and despite teasing a return to the ring it remains his only boxing bout.
And having shared the ring with the ex-UFC champion behind closed doors, Malignaggi claimed he knew the result was inevitable.
He said: “Coming out of that spar I thought this has got to be the biggest money heist in the history of money.
“This guy is so terrible and he’s going to fight Mayweather, probably the best boxer in the history of the sport.
“Even though he’s retired, Mayweather is going to beat this guy with his eyes closed. And that’s basically how it went. He played with them.”

KSI stripped of Joe Fournier win after controversial ‘elbow’ KO with fight deemed a ‘no contest’

KSI’S controversial win over Joe Fournier has been overturned to a no-contest.The YouTube sensation, 29, clinched a second-round stoppage victory on Saturday night after appearing to elbow Fournier as he unloaded a barrage of punches at the end of the contest.

On the night, KSI was awarded the win – much to Fournier’s fury.
But now PBA Boxing, who sanctioned the fight, have taken away the win and ruled it a no-contest following a “reviewed decision”.
Fournier submitted a protest which KSI responded to.
And now the PBA have confirmed that “after a thorough review of the evidence and representations, along with the assistance of Mr Micky Vann (the Supervisor in charge) and an eminent Barrister where necessary, Mr Gareth Morris [referee of the fight] came to an independent decision.”

They went on to add: “Even though KSI was winning the fight, the blow with the forearm/elbow has been found to be accidental and the obvious disappointment that will follow, it has been decided that the contest is declared a No Decision in accordance with the Rules.
“The PBA has conducted the review properly, fairly and with legal assistance throughout as the bout was sanctioned and regulated under the unified rules of boxing.
“We have ensured that this process was conducted swiftly and fairly to uphold the integrity of boxing.”
The change of result means KSI remains on 3-0 as a professional fighter.

His wins have come against Swarmz, Luis Alcaraz Pineda and FaZe Temperrr.
After the Fournier fight, KSI wrote: “I worked very hard for this fight and had an intense and gruelling camp.
“There’s no better feeling than being in that ring and having my hand raised in front of my loyal and amazing fans who I appreciate so much.
“Unfortunately the victory which was inevitable no matter what, is tarnished and I hate that. It sucks!
“After landing my overhand he was pretty much out on his feet and I went for a short right hook as Joe clinched me and fell into me.

“I landed that hook and my glove made contact but appears to have been followed by unintentional contact with my forearm.
“I’m gutted that it’s not as clean a win as I wanted and it feels like it diminishes my hard work with my trainers.
“Either way I hope you enjoyed the show and appreciate the support. Sorry to all the fans disappointed with it. No one is more so than me.”
In the aftermath, Fournier has called for a rematch and labelled KSI a “cheat” and an “embarrassment”.
But KSI insists he has no interest in running it back – even if it was deemed a no-contest.
Instead, he is focused on taking on Love Island star Tommy Fury – who defeated KSI’s rival Jake Paul back in February.
He added: “I was beating him and it was easy. It [was] way easier than I thought it would be.
“And I’m just like, what’s the point? Why not? And if anything, most people are like, ‘What’s the point?’
“The public are like, ‘We don’t care. You beat him anyway, so fight Tommy Fury.’

Eddie Hearn open to promoting Conor McGregor but says UFC star is too rich to risk losing to a ‘plonker’ like Jake Paul

EDDIE HEARN would love to promote a Conor McGregor fight – but said he is far too rich to risk losing to a “plonker” like Jake Paul. The UFC superstar has thrown his support Hearn’s way ahead of Katie Taylor’s homecoming bout in Ireland this Saturday.

The pair have partnered up with McGregor’s Forged Irish Stout and recovery spray Tidl sponsoring the event.
Hearn met up with the ex-UFC champion at his Black Forge Inn pub to discuss plans to bring Taylor back home.
And the promoter could not help himself from bringing up the subject of McGregor getting back in the ring one day too.
Hearn told SunSport: “We talked about boxing but obviously he’s with the UFC and I respect Dana.

“He also knows what he’s doing, he’s been around and if we ever get involved in promoting a fight for him, it would be fantastic.
“But we’re getting on very well. He FaceTimed me and it was almost like a brother phoning me up last night, or a dad going, ‘Alright? Good day to day, I’ve seen it all.’ Good work, make sure you get some sleep, you need to go again tomorrow.’
“I was like, ‘Alright, thanks a lot.’ We’re out pushing all his brands and looking forward to seeing him tonight.”
McGregor, 34, made his professional boxing debut in 2017, losing to American legend Floyd Mayweather, 46.

The crossover blockbuster needed the special permission from the UFC to get over the line, something the company has not done since.
That is despite McGregor being linked with facing the likes of Canelo Alvarez, 32, and Manny Pacquiao, 44, in the past.
But Hearn reckons it would not be worth McGregor answering the callouts from YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 26.
Asked who McGregor could box, he said: “Jake Paul, Nate Diaz, I dunno but I don’t think he needs to do it.
“He’s made his money, he’s a great mixed martial artist. You don’t want to go in there and lose to someone you don’t really like.
“It’s one thing losing to Floyd Mayweather, you don’t want to lose to a plonker.”
He also knows what he’s doing, he’s been around and if we ever get involved in promoting a fight for him, it would be fantastic. Eddie Hearn on Conor McGregor
Women’s boxing sensation Taylor, 36, moves up to challenge Chantelle Cameron, 32, for the undisputed super-lightweight titles.
It will be her only ever fight in Ireland since turning pro and the first in the region since 2014.
So McGregor would not miss the occasion for the world – and has found himself joining Hearn in promoting the event.
“It works well together,” Hearn said.
“I’m pushing his brands, he’s supporting Katie which is most important to him and he’s pushing the show.
“I love Conor McGregor, I think he’s amazing. I was a little bit, shy when I met him, don’t mind saying he’s a superstar.
“But, he obviously likes what we do, he knows we’re genuine, his support is genuine.

“He’ll be here tonight and he’ll add that extra element to the fight.”

KSI reveals only reason he took Joe Fournier fight and vows to refuse rematch even if he’s DISQUALIFIED

KSI is ready to snub a rematch with Joe Fournier even if his knockout win is overturned to a DISQUALIFICATION. Controversy struck last Saturday at Wembley Arena when Fournier was left out for the count by KSI.

Replays revealed the YouTube sensation landed an accidental but illegal elbow, which consequently caused the KO.
Fournier, 40, accused KSI, 29, of cheating and demanded a disqualification or rematch be called.
The Professional Boxing Association – who sanctioned the fight – confirmed an appeal has been lodged and will conclude by Friday.
And while KSI is ready to accept the win being overturned, he will fume if a DQ is ruled.

He said on The MMA Hour: “If it’s a no-contest, fine.
“I’ll be p****d if it’s a disqualification, because I didn’t intentionally try to hit him with my forearm or my elbow or whatever.

“Like, I came through with a right hook to try and knock him out while he was coming in to clinch me, because I knew he was going to scramble to save his life after I hit him with an overhand.
“At least now Joe Fournier doesn’t look like a loser. He can be like, ‘Ah, because of the whole no-contest, it doesn’t really count.’ Even though I was all over him, but yeah.”

KSI has set his sights on fighting Fury next, following his win over Paul by split-decision in Saudi Arabia in February.
It came after the American instead chose to return against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, on August 5 in Texas.
KSI – returned to boxing to fight Paul – is ready to face Fury next instead of rematching Fournier.
    He said: “I’m at peace with a no-contest. I don’t really mind because, for me, I’m a fair guy. If it is a no-contest, it’s a no-contest.
“It is what it is. I don’t need a win. For me, the reason I came back was to knock out Jake Paul.
