Jake Paul slams ‘hater’ Freddie Roach’s claim Mike Tyson stopped watching YouTube boxer in sparring because he got bored

JAKE PAUL slammed “hater” Freddie Roach for “spreading rumours” about Mike Tyson watching the YouTuber spar for 30 SECONDS. The trainer claimed Tyson had enough of Paul’s sparring session after just half a minute.

Roach told FightHype: “Tyson looked at him and left.
“He saw 30 seconds of him sparring and said, ‘Freddie, can we go down and see the pictures?’
“He knows that’s where the good pictures are. He wasn’t as interested as I was.”
But the social media sensation-turned boxer claimed Roach made the entire story up, having never trained at the coach’s famed gym before.

Paul, 25, said to talkSPORT: “First and foremost, I saw these things that Freddie Roach was saying – that I was like sparring at his gym.
“First of all, I’ve never even trained at Wild Card gym, Freddie is a f***ing idiot, he’s a hater.
“He coached Ben Askren to no avail, literally worthless, he’s off his rocker.
“He literally trains zero good fighters anymore and is a Jake Paul hater.

“Mike Tyson has never watched me spar, Mike Tyson has never been in the gym at the same time as me sparring.
“I went to Wild Card like once to talk to somebody for a meeting and for my brother’s press conference there.
“But Mike Tyson wasn’t anywhere in the vicinity, so it’s just Freddie Roach spreading rumours. Especially because me and Mike are friends man.
“Mike wouldn’t do that, Mike wouldn’t be like, ‘Ah f*** this kid, let’s go and do something else.’
“Mike respects me and I respect Mike, but it would be dope to fight. I’m down. It could be fun.”

Tyson, 56, helped launch Paul’s boxing career with a spot on his undercard in 2020.
At the time, the social media sensation had won his professional boxing debut by beating online rival “AnEsonGib” in one round.
Tyson returned to the ring after 15 years out and drew with Roy Jones Jr, 53, in an exhibition bout.
But Paul stole the show as he brutally knocked out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 38, in two rounds.

Since then, he has beaten former UFC pair Askren, 38, and Tyron Woodley, 40, knocking the ex-UFC champion out in their rematch.
Paul returns on October 29 in Arizona against UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, who also has a 4-1 boxing record.

KSI sent £18,000 to Jordan Macmillan after losing a bet of rock, paper, scissors
Jordan joked that if he won the game, the star would have to fork out £9,000 for his uni fees.
And the student offered to give KSI – whose real name is Olajide William “JJ” Olatunji – £5 if he won instead.
The pair agreed to play best out of three, and Jordan won on the first two games against the 28-year-old.

He said: “It started out as a joke between me and my friends.
“I just said, ‘I’m gonna ask him to pay for my tuition if I beat him in rock, paper, scissors as it’ll be funny.’
“I thought the worst that could happen is that he say no and we’d have a laugh about it. I never imagined he would actually agree.
“I’m someone who takes everything seriously, except myself, so that helps me stay calm in those situations.

“He is such a nice guy and was really cool about it as well, which eased the nerves too.”
Jordan said the social media star and his friends initially all laughed at the bet.
He said: “JJ asked how long was left in my tuition. I told him two years, so £18,000.
“Vikk suggested that he pay one year – £9,000 – which is what we agreed on in the end. So we played rock, paper, scissors and I won and just started laughing.
“I was in shock. He then followed me on Instagram and got my details.
    SHOCK BET
“We got pictures and had a chat; they were quite excited when I told them I study football coaching and management.
“I later got a message from him saying, ‘Enjoy it brother,’ so I checked my account and he sent me £18,000 for both years.”
Jordan was left speechless seeing such amount in his bank and was eager to let his family know that he will have on less stress about paying his student fees.
He added: “I was absolutely shocked, I couldn’t believe it.
“He’s such a nice guy so I had no doubt he’d send it but I was so shocked he sent it that quickly.
He’s such a nice guy… I still can’t believe it. I’ll probably invite him to my graduation
“It still hasn’t settled in yet. I’m not sure it ever will. I sent him a message after to thank him trying to keep my cool but I couldn’t.
“I then phoned my family, tears everywhere.
“I still can’t believe it, I’ll probably invite him to my graduation.”
KSI is also famous for his boxing matches against fellow YouTube star Logan Paul.
The two went head-to-head against each other in 2018 in a boxing exhibition which finished in a draw.

‘He’s full of s***’ – Conor McGregor blasts Floyd Mayweather’s claims he earned $100m to ‘spar’ YouTuber Logan Paul

CONOR McGREGOR blasted that Floyd Mayweather was “full of s***” after claiming he made $100million to “spar” Logan Paul. Mayweather made the boast both before and after going the eight-round distance with YouTuber Paul in their June 2021 exhibition.

And the boxing legend also said he will be making up to $20m (£18m) for his latest spectacle bout, over the weekend in Japan.
But McGregor doubted Mayweather’s maths and jibed not since their 2017 fight has the American seen such a payday.
In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote: “He also said he made 100m to spar the Logan guy yet never made the Forbes list top 100.
“He hasn’t cleared 20 million in 1 full year since 2017. When we fought the last time. Otherwise he’d have been on the list.

“He hasn’t made the list since 2017. In other words he’s full of s***.”
Mayweather and Paul sold over 1million pay-per-views for their bout, priced at $50, meaning $50m (£45m) was generated at the box office.
And the 50-0 icon also claimed he made $30m (£27m) in sponsorships on his trunks alone, although his overall purse was never confirmed.
Mayweather is said to have made almost $300m (£270m) the night he beat McGregor, 34, in ten rounds.

It also signalled the end of his career as a professional fighter but the Hall of Famer has boxed in three exhibitions since.
He beat featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 24, in 2018, faced Paul last year and then dominated ex-sparring partner Don Moore in May.
Mayweather returns against MMA star Mikuru Asakaura, 30, and is in talks with YouTuber Deji, 25, for a November exhibition in Dubai.
He then wants to rematch McGregor in 2023 at the 70,000-seat Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and for no less than $100m (£90m).
Mayweather told TMZ Sports: “Hopefully me and Conor McGregor can lock up in 2023 in a real fight.
“If the price is right, of course, they already talked to me about the number that I’m going to receive, and of course, it’s nine figures.
“You know we gotta start at least $100 million for Floyd Mayweather. I’m always the A-side. My philosophy is ‘never stop getting it.’
“But if I’m not taking any bodily harm or if I’m not taking any abuse, then I can go out there, have fun and entertain the people.”

In the 2019/20 season, viewing figures for an average Premier League game on Sky Sports amounted to 1.9m.

The club have announced that scouts will be on hand to “evaluate” participating players.
Chiefs are also looking to potentially recruit new talent to join the team in training and in the dugout for an upcoming FA Cup first round clash.
Crawley manager Kevin Betsy is in support of the initiative.
He told the club’s official website: “When we step on the pitch on 5 November, our only goal is to win the match and advance to the next round.

“The FA Cup is a historic competition that is incredibly meaningful to our club, our players and our fans, and we’re looking forward to doing everything we can to make a deep run this season.
“However, the unique rules of this competition give us a chance to try something different, and we’re looking forward to potentially welcoming some new faces to the team.
“It’s fairly unlikely that they’ll get on the pitch unless the game is already well in hand, but we’re excited to add some fresh blood to our training sessions and in the dugout — and hopefully bring some new fans to the club in the process.”
This won’t be the first time Crawley recruit a celebrity.
In 2020 the Reds signed reality TV star Mark Wright on a short-term contract.
But, the 35-year-old was released after just six months because the club rejected the opportunity to extend his deal.
Crawley currently sit 20th in the League Two table with just six points from nine games. More
