      Mayweather and Deji have had very different career paths going into this fight, but they are both similar in terms of being successful – and lucrative.

      The boxer, 45 – known as “Money” – is one of the highest-earning athletes ever and is renowned for his incredible wealth.
      Mayweather has built his cash with a series of record-breaking pay-days throughout his career and claimed in 2021 that his net worth had passed $1.2bn.
      Forbes reported ahead of his fight with Conor McGregor in 2017 that the $200m (£175m) that the boxer made from the fight put him over the $1bn mark.

      Further money-spinning fights since then – included his exhibition fight with Logan Paul – has only helped the star increase in value.
      Mayweather is estimated to have garnered over 24 million pay-per-view purchases throughout his pro career and even formed his own promotional firm – Mayweather Productions.
      The “fight of the century” with Manny Pacquiao in 2015 also ranks as the highest ever pay-per-view bout in US history.
      As many as 4.6m Americans bought the fight and watched Money pick up his 48th career win with an unanimous points victory.
      All of this, along with other sporting ventures, means the fighter can boast an incredible net worth.
      And he has rarely been shy about flaunting his cash with the 45-year-old once pictured at a table with stacks of money piled up around him.
      He is also known to have expensive collection of stunning cars and houses which he regularly flaunts on social media.

      Deji had a very different route into boxing than Mayweather and built his name outside the ring.
      The Tank is the younger brother of KSI and initially appeared in his Youtube videos.
      Deji then branched off by making his own content, which included gaming and prank videos.
      Like his brother, the 25-year-old was among the leaders of Youtubers taking on boxing and was on the undercard when KSI took on Logan Paul in 2018.
      He has not always fared well in the ring and lost his first three fights.
      But Deji’s popularity has only continued to grow from his Youtube days and his net worth now reportedly stands at £5m.
      Most of his success has come from YouTube, where he has over 9.7million subscribers and 3.4billion views on his channel.
      Youtubers’ money comes through adverts placed on their videos and subscribers signing up to someone’s channel.
      The platform is also an incredible vehicle for gaining name recognition and collating with other social media stars.
      Deji’s reputation could grow even further if he puts in a good performance against Mayweather, and he has revealed his dramatic physical transformation as he prepares for the fight.

      But he said: “I’m not interested who’s there. There could be a million Jake Paul’s sat ringside.
      “My mindset is laser focussed on Paul Bamba, getting him out the way then I’ll jump out ringside and slap him in the face.

      “I’m not really bothered about Jake Paul or KSI or whoever they’re with because a load of boys really, with a load of men, that’s what it is.”
      Fresh off his win over 47-year-old UFC legend Anderson Silva, Paul landed in Dubai ahead of Fury’s fight with Bamba, 33.
      And the American, 25, took the chance to aim a dig at Fury, who has TWICE pulled out against him.
      Paul said: “Dubai…It’s about to be a party. I’m ready to step in if Tommy pulls out.”

      Jake Paul and WWE have ‘a lot of interest’ for future work after YouTuber’s debut at Crown Jewel with brother Logan

      JAKE PAUL and the WWE reportedly have interest in working together again after the success at Crown Jewel. In just his third in-ring match, Paul’s brother Logan challenged champion Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal title in Saudi Arabia.

      And it paved the way for the YouTuber-turned boxer to make his official WWE debut, storming into the ring to attack The Usos.
      According to PW Insider, there are no immediate plans to bring Paul back into the WWE, but both sides are open to future work.
      The American, who now has has six wins from six fights as a boxer, said as much when speaking after his first WWE appearance.
      Paul admitted: “For sure, why not? You know, that was so much fun, and I know we can take it a long way, and I loved it.

      But attention has already turned to who the boxing great will face after his Dubai dust-up with Deji.

      And he could very well get it next year if Mayweather were to agree to what would be one of the most-viewed exhibitions of all time.

      British boxing legend Hatton returns to the ring this weekend to take on Mexican great Marco Antonio Barerra in an eight-rounder in Manchester.
      The Hitman knows Mayweather all too well having lost their welterweight title fight in Las Vegas 15 years ago.
      It’s unclear if Hatton will be one and done after his clash with Barerra. But he could make himself a bucketload of cash if he were to put himself forward to face Mayweather again.

      YouTuber juggernaut KSI will likely be ringside for his little brother’s clash with the undefeated Mayweather.
      He could potentially opt to challenge the Olympic bronze medallist should his brother fall at the Michigan mauler’s hands.
      And given the massive audience KSI has amassed across multiple social media platforms, Mayweather would likely be tempted to fight the Brit.

      But a story previously emerged showing the usual trash-talking fighter’s much kinder side after he secretly tipped a waitress $10,000 to undergo a procedure to help her exercise a decade ago.
      John Shahidi runs his own company which manages YouTube stars, and it was him who shared the tale on the Impaulsive podcast after meeting Mayweather in LA.
      After discussing how they can work together over a bite to eat, the former five-weight world champion asked the waitress what she would do if she had all the money in the world to improve her life.

      She declared she would get rid of her credit card but also undergo a procedure to enable her to exercise better.
      Shahidi says Mayweather asked how much it would cost, to which she said between six and seven grand, leading to “Money” placing a $10k tip at the bottom of the bill.
      The YouTube expert claims he told Mayweather to contact the media over his gesture.
      He also explained that the world should know that Mayweather often does this sort of thing.

      But the undefeated icon replied: “No! You are not to ever do that.

      He has already had four exhibition bout since officially retiring in 2017 which have taken him to the Far East, America and now Middle East – but the UK could be next.

      Despite losing, Paul put on a thrilling performance but paid the price in the form of an agonising injury.
      The American revealed he suffered a torn meniscus, medial collateral ligament and potentially anterior cruciate ligament damage.
      Paul, 27, posted a picture on his Instagram which revealed he was receiving an X-ray.
      It is due to all-but confirm his plans to return to the ring in the new year will be shelved.

      Paul was going to return on January 14 on the same card as his former opponent-turned business partner KSI.
      He has not boxed since June 2021, when he took ring legend Floyd Mayweather, 45, the distance in their exhibition.
      Before that, he drew in a similar bout with KSI, 29, before losing their rematch a year later.
      But for the past year, Paul’s efforts have been focussed in the WWE which culminated in a title match with Reigns.
