TYSON FURY admitted Jake Paul is a “decent boxer” and warned brother Tommy to take their fight “really seriously”. Paul and Tommy have confirmed the latest rescheduling of their grudge match, on February 26 in Saudi Arabia.

The celebrity boxing rivals officially came face-to-face for the first time over the weekend at Wembley Arena.
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, 34, was in attendance and heaped praise on YouTuber-turned 6-0 boxer Paul, 26.
He told Sky Sports: “I think he’s a decent boxer.
“A lot of people think he’s just a YouTube person who doesn’t know how to box but I’ve actually seen him training and I’ve actually seen his fights and I think he’s decent.

“He’s like a novice professional. He’s only had six fights so he’s exactly as good as he should be at this stage.
“He’s not an Olympic boxer but then again neither am I.”
Paul has knocked out ex-MMA champions in Ben Askren, 38, Tyron Woodley, 40, and Anderson Silva, 47, in the past two years.
Now Tommy, 23, will be his first opponent with a recognised professional boxing record.

But the 8-0 boxer has been urged by his older brother not to rest on his laurels by staying focused on the task in hand.
Tyson said: “He can’t just go to the ice cream parlour and not train.
“He’s got to really focus and have the right sparring and everything. He’s got to take it really seriously.
“He’s got to do the job when he’s in there because it’s not just the opponent.”
Tommy twice pulled out of facing Paul in the past, due to a rib injury in December 2021 and amid a US visa issue last August.
But he gets a third crack after the two renegotiated for a blockbuster in the Middle East.
Tyson has warned Tommy he can stay in Saudi if he loses and give up their famous fighting name.
So with bragging rights, unbeaten records and reputations on the line, it is all to play for in Riyadh.

Tyson said: “There’s big pressure, a big stadium, top of the bill and all that sort of stuff.
“The thrills and spills of big-time boxing sometimes get to them so it’s going to be interesting to see if Tommy can handle that pressure, which I know he can, but it’s going to be interesting to see him do it in front of the world.”

Former Disney child star Paul, 26, has trash talked his way into the hurt business and millions of dollars, upsetting plenty of people on the way.
But Fury – who has been swapping insults and two cancelled showdowns with Paul over the last two years – reckons their fight is strictly business.
And he even admires the courage of Paul – and other part-time pugilists like England’s KSI – for risking their fame and fortune in the ring.
“I have no bad blood toward influencer boxers,” Fury said.

“They all have the stones to get in that ring and have a go in front of a big crowd. 
“A lot of people that hide behind keyboards say a lot of stuff and then cannot back it up. 
“These guys are putting the training in, going out in front of big crowds and throwing down.
“Big respect to them, I hope they all earn millions of pounds and get the life they’ve always dreamed of. I want success for everybody. There’s no jealousy or bad blood in my body.”

Tommy won the hearts of the nation – and Molly-Mae Hague – when he stole the show in Love Island.
His boy-next-door charm and Hollywood looks combined perfectly with the loyalty he showed to Molly-Mae, under plenty of sultry provocation around the villa.

But Fury insists his popular persona is no act and he will not act like an a***hole for love nor money.
He explained: “Trash talk sells for him but everyone likes me for my personality.
“I do not put on an act or a character. I am not an a***hole on camera and then a nice guy off it – or versa – I am just a nice guy.
“I have time for everyone and I love and support everyone. I am just me, what you see is what you get.
“You can leave a camera or a microphone on me 24 hours a day and I have nothing to hide.

Tyson’s sons – Prince John James and Prince Tyson II – managed to get up close and personal with Paul after their dad gatecrashed one of the American’s interviews.
But neither of them are fans of their uncle’s upcoming opponent, with Prince Tyson II claiming the former Disney star is “s***” when asked for his opinion on him.
Doting dad Tyson then revealed his youngest son snubbed the chance to take a picture with the social media sensation.
Fury told iFL TV: “I told him to get a picture with him and he was like, ‘No’. Jake goes, ‘He’s a Tommy Fury fan.'”

Prince John James didn’t shy away when asked for his opinion on Paul.
He replied: “I didn’t know who he was until my uncle is fighting him.”
Paul and Tommy, 23 and 26 respectively, are less than a month away from settling their two-year-long feud in a lucrative Saudi showdown.
The pair took part in a heated face-off before Anthony Yarde’s clash with Artur Beterbiev and had to be separated by security.

A fired-up Tommy roared: “Come 26th of February, this s***’s been going on too long, he’ll never box again.
“I’m not 50, I ain’t 40, I ain’t an MMA guy.

He added: “I’ve beaten better people than you when I was 14 in the amateurs. I will school you. I’m not an MMA guy.

And Paul travelled to London to square up to Fury before Anthony Yarde’s light-heavyweight title loss to Artur Beterbiev.
The two went nose-to-nose, exchanging fiery words and had to be forced apart before tempers boiled over.
Heavyweight Chisora, 38, who is helping promoting the fight, filmed the two coming to blows and being separated.
And he captioned the post: “The talk is over. We settle it in Saudi.”

Amidst the commotion, Fury, 23, said: “Come 26th of February, this s***’s been going on too long, he’ll never box again.

Paul, 26, hit back: “He’s fought taxi drivers, he’s got no chin, it’s all a joke. I’m ending you February 26th and you already know it.
