    MIKE TYSON revealed Jake Paul and Tommy Fury made him miss boxing and “being the centre of attention”. The heavyweight legend, who retired in 2005, was a special guest in Saudi Arabia the week Paul and Fury met in a celebrity grudge match.

    And the rivals came to a head in a heated weigh-in a day before the bout, which had Tyson reminiscing about his heyday.
    He said on his podcast: “I just always wanted to be a fighter. That’s all I wanted to do my whole life was be a fighter, nothing else.

    “I miss this stuff, I didn’t think I’d miss it until I was at the weigh-in in Saudi Arabia for [Paul-Fury]. You miss being the centre of attention.”
    Fury, 23, went on to beat Paul, 26, by split-decision in Riyadh.

    Tyson, 56, was ringside and revealed in an interview with TMZ Sports that he has been approached to fight in Saudi.
    The youngest heavyweight champion of all time – who won the title aged 20 – made a shock comeback in 2020 after 15 years out.
    He faced fellow American icon Roy Jones Jr, 54, in an exhibition bout that ended in a draw.
    Tyson has been linked with a rematch as well as a trilogy bout against old rival Evander Holyfield, 60.

    Up until now Iron Mike has remained happy in retirement but leaves the door open to another exhibition.
    Tyson said: “I don’t know, I’m just chilling out.
    “I did that, I wanted to do that, I did that. People also in Saudi Arabia want me to do this stuff too. I don’t know, I could be persuaded.”

    KSI shows off speed and power in training for Joe Fournier fight with YouTube star in stunning shape for boxing return

    KSI revealed his stunning physique in training to fight Joe Fournier. The YouTube, rap and influencer boxing star returns on May 13 against millionaire businessman-turned fighter Fournier.

    The social media sensation gave fans a glimpse into his preparation as he fired off combinations on the heavy bag.

    KSI, 29, also revealed he will turn his attention to Tommy Fury, 23, if he beats Fournier at Wembley Arena.

    He said: “I’m very serious, I feel like I can destroy him.
    “I saw what Jake Paul did to Tommy Fury and I was like, ‘Wow, Jake is trash.’ Put me in with Tommy Fury and I’ll show everyone the levels.
    “And I know people are writing me off, saying I’m s***, I’m trash, I’m nowhere near Tommy Fury’s level.
    “And I’m like, ‘Alright, let’s see then.’ Put me in the ring with him, and let’s see and I’ll make you a f****g believer. Simple.”

    And they have gone from strength to strength ever since with Leerdam spending time with Paul at his Puerto Rico training base.
    The happy couple posed arm in arm and kissed behind a private jet in their latest PDA – but Paul did share the love with his beloved dog Thor.
    Leerdam was credited for helping the American get over his first defeat in the ring, which came in February.
    Paul, 26, was beaten by Tommy Fury, 23, in a split-decision in Saudi Arabia, ending his six-fight winning streak.

    The social media sensation decided against a rematch and instead returns on August 5 in Texas against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 37.
    Paul has already started training for the pay-per-view bout and opened up on how Leerdam aided his recovery.
    He said in a YouTube video: “I have a new girlfriend which is pretty cool.
    “It’s been so refreshing, she’s a world champion and I’ve just been so amazed by her and her work ethic and how much of an angel she is.

    Fans appalled at Teofimo Lopez as boxer talks about killing rivals in ‘horrible’ interview

    TEOFIMO LOPEZ was slammed after boasting about being able to “kill a guy and get away with it” in the ring.The former unified lightweight champion made the vile remarks in an interview with YouTube channel Punsh Drunk Boxing.

    Lopez, 25, said: “One thing I love about my sport, I can kill a guy and get away with it, so it’s cool.” 
    His dad, Teofimo Sr, replied: “You gotta edit that one.” 
    But Lopez said: “You can’t edit that.” 
    The sick brag went viral online and saw the boxing star criticised by fans.

    One said: “Horrible guy. His career has plummeted and he doesn’t help himself.”
    Another added: “What a f*****g idiot.”
    Lopez also hit out at retired boxers-turned ESPN pundits Andre Ward and Timothy Bradley in a furious rant.
    He said: “Commentators are the ones that convince everybody if someone else is winning.

    It’s not yet known if Diaz’s imminent legal issues will impact his Dallas dust-up with Paul, but that hasn’t stopped Brit YouTuber KSI from offering up his services.
    KSI – real name Olajide Olatunji – tweeted on Monday: “Well, if that mean[s] Jake won’t have an opponent in August.
    “Then I’ll gladly come as the replacement after I KO Joe Fournier in May.”
    It didn’t take long for YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul to get wind of KSI’s offer – which he gladly accepted.

    He said: “Great. I accept you as the backup opponent. Fight is at 185 [lbs].
    “There are no rehydration clauses. Stay in shape and we will give you a call if needed.
    “Thanks buddy for being so humble and committed.”
    The agreement didn’t go unnoticed by Diaz, who issued an X-rated response to the social media sensations.

    Future UFC Hall of Famer Diaz found himself involved in a mass brawl following Misfits Boxing’s show in New Orleans – where he nearly clashed with Chase Demoor.
    Diaz didn’t throw any punches, opting instead to choke out his attacker OUT COLD with a standing guillotine after being rushed upon.
    The Stockon slugger then proceeded to carefully drop the man – who turned out to be Logan Paul lookalike and pro-MMA fighter Rodney Petersen Jr – on the street floor.

    YOUTUBE sensation KSI returns to the ring next month – but he won’t by any means be the biggest fighter on the card.That honour goes to super-heavyweight sluggers Wings of Redemption and Boogie2988, who will duke it out on the undercard of the Ovo dust-up.

    Together, the social media sensations weigh a whopping 800lbs – which equates to a staggering 57 stone.
    Boogie2988 – who rose to prominence with his brash and controversial playing style on Call of Duty – once weighed a staggering 35st 5lbs – or 495lbs.
    But as of last July – four years after he hand gastric bypass surgery – Boogie, real name Steven Jay Williams, tipped the scales at 26st 13lbs (377lbs).
    At his peak, Wings of Redemption – real name – Richard Samuel Jordan – weighed a massive 32st 2lbs or 450lbs.

    The pair’s showdown won’t be a long one, with the contest being a mere three rounder.
    The rounds are expected to last a paltry two minutes.
    Following the announcement of the bout, Boogie said on YouTube: “I’m going into this thing with the plan to win.

    KSI – who tops the bill against self-proclaimed billionaire Joe Fournier – said of the fight: “Oh my God.
    “If someone would have told me this would happen 10 years ago I would have laughed and blocked them.
    “Fam I still can’t believe it’s happening.”
    The heaviest ever boxers are not the first super-sized fighters to enter the ring.
    Dustin Nichols almost broke the scales in 2011 when he fought Justin Jones in Louisiana, weighing 32st 2lbs (450lbs).
    Nichols four a young Deontay Wilder in 2010, and weighed in at 28st 6lbs (398lbs).
