Paul, who has won his six pro boxing fights against amateurs, tweeted: “Carl Froch mad because I made more in one year than he made his whole career. You want the payday. I get it.
“So let’s do this, fight Anderson Silva on my next card and if you get lucky and beat him, then we can step in the ring and you make your career payday. Let me know.”
But Froch, 45, was having none of it as the retired 33-2 fighter responded with a video on Twitter and threatened to send Paul “into f***ing orbit”.
However, fellow British boxing icon Chisora, who was beaten by Tyson Fury in December at the Tottenham Stadium, believes that the American loudmouth would have no problems defeating “The Cobra”.

Del Boy told IFL TV: “Good luck to Jake Paul. The guy believes he can do anything, and when you’re that young age, you believe you can do anything.
“He’s entertainment. Those people that talk rubbish about him, they can’t do it, that’s why.
    “There’s nothing wrong with that.
“Carl Froch will go in there and get his a**e beaten up and go get your check, bro.

The American began boxing in 2018
And after a successful career as one of the biggest YouTubers in the world, in 2018 Paul began his boxing journey.
Now after nearly five years and just six professional bouts, he is one of the richest fighters on the planet.
In 2021, he was behind only Tyson Fury, 34, and Canelo Alvarez, 32, in the list of highest-paid boxers.
And next Sunday, in Saudi Arabia, he faces Fury’s younger brother Tommy in their rescheduled celebrity grudge match.

The eight-round pay-per-view bout is scheduled for 185lb or 13st 2lb, the lightest weight in Paul’s career.
He has largely campaigned at 190lb, 13st 7lb, while following a gruelling training regime.
Paul, 26, was a high-school wrestler, so has always maintained a good physique even during his days on the small screen.
But he has conditioned himself into fighting shape now, packing on the muscle.

Paul has beaten ex-MMA champions in Ben Askren, 38, Tyron Woodley, 40, and Anderson Silva, 47.
But Tommy, 23, will be the first opponent he has faced with a recognised boxing record.
And the stakes have been raised after the WBC announced Paul will receive a world ranking if he wins.
A ranking within the organisation would pave the way for him to sensationally challenge for a championship title.
It means Paul could very well complete his transition from children’s TV actor to world title challenger.

Tyson refrained from revealing his prediction for the fight in the presence of Paul, but he expects little brother Tommy to put a one-sided beating on The Problem Child.
Tommy told Fight Hype: “Tyson is, in my opinion, the greatest fighter ever, obviously the heavyweight champion of the world currently.

Tommy Fury blasts Jake Paul for ‘talking s***’ about dad John before being ‘up Tyson’s a***’ just seconds later

TOMMY FURY blasted Jake Paul for “talking s***” about his dad John just moments before palling up to brother Tyson. Paul had travelled to London after the announcement of his rescheduled grudge match with Tommy, on February 26 in Saudi Arabia.

And he was critical of John’s involvement in Tommy’s training camp just as Tyson burst through the door.
The heavyweight champion faked a punch to Paul before the two embraced and even posed for a picture.
But Tommy slammed the YouTuber-turned boxer for switching up so quickly and not standing his ground.
He told Queensberry Promotions: “I’ve seen it, it’s all the makings of a s***house.

“He was talking s*** about my dad, saying he didn’t know anything about boxing, he didn’t know how to train fighters and what not.
“But then Tyson walked in the room all of a sudden and he’s up his a*** a hundred miles. You can just tell a fighter when you see one.
“A legitimate fighter would say what he’s saying and it doesn’t matter who walks in the room, they’d still stand by it. ‘Yeah, that’s what I think.’
“But for him, Tyson walked in the room and he crumbled, s*** himself. So that’s the measure of the man I’m dealing with.”

Paul, 26, jetted in from Dubai where he had been training to face off with Fury, 23, at Wembley Arena.
And he fumed further when his rival no-showed their kick-off press conference in Saudi Arabia.
But Fury – who twice pulled out of the bout due to injury and visa issues – insisted he is the more focused fighter at hand.
He said: “This man is a fruit loop, you see him all the time on the internet, YouTubers doing odd things, this is just him and he’s taken a liking to boxing.
“He’s thought he’ll have a go at it and that’s it. You’ve got one man playing at it and one man that’s training like a trojan. I sleep, eat, train and repeat.
“I’m not flying about on no private jet emptying my tank. I go to the gym, eat my food and I go to bed.
“I’m not playing at this game, it’s very serious to me. But again, it’s just business, this man is another opponent, it’s all he is to me.
“He’s like another journeyman, not interested. He’s just another step along the way in my career, that’s it.”
