Paul was then asked to attend The Grandest Stage of Them All – which he accepted.
But, the drama did not end there, as Zayn’s WrestleMania opponent Kevin Owens stormed into the ring, and laid out his rival with a stunner.
On the way out the ring, Owens then bumped into Paul – also a professional boxer – leaving the door open for a feud down the line.
The social media star’s first WWE live appearance followed after it was revealed he featured on the Masked Singer.
This all comes as he prepares to face boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout this year.
They were initially signed to fight on February 20, but it has been postponed to allow fans to attend.
Paul, 26, has boxed only twice before, both against online rival KSI.
The first was a draw in a white collar bout in 2018, but when the two turned professional a year later, KSI, 27, won by scrappy split-decision.

He then transitioned into commentary and featured alongside pro wrestling legend Tazz.
Now it seems his in-ring debut is drawing closer as he attacked Cody Rhodes and cut a heel promo on Twitter.
He captioned a video of the incident: “The crunch of a mans ribs beneath your knuckles, the involuntary noise he makes as air leaves his body, the wince on his face as he crumbles in pain.
“I am everything you don’t want to see standing across from you in a ring. I am violence, with a smile. I am The Guv’nor.”
Ogogo won bronze at the London Games in 2012 and made a smooth transitions into the pros following his 2013 debut.
He then won all 11 fights when he faced fellow Brit Craig Cunningham in Birmingham in 2016.
Ogogo was stopped in eight round and handed the first defeat of his career.
But it would also be his last, having shattered his eye socket which resulted in him suffering severe double vision.

Ogogo over two years had NINE eye operations in an attempt to restore his sight to the British Boxing Board of Control’s high safety standards.
But ultimately he did not prevail and would instead embark on a pro wrestling career.
And last year, Ogogo revealed he turned down WWE in favour of newbies AEW.
He told the Evening Standard: “I had a choice of WWE and AEW and I chose AEW. I loved the company and loved Cody’s (Rhodes) vision.
“But I want to be part of something really special. The choice was simple.
“I’ve got things I want to achieve in my life that I wasn’t able to achieve in boxing. But I still want to achieve those things.
“Now I can look to achieve them in a slightly different arena in the world of professional wrestling.”

Tyson Fury reveals Covid stopped him from fighting at WrestleMania and SummerSlam before facing Drew McIntyre in the UK

TYSON FURY revealed coronavirus stopped him fighting at WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
And he was also due to take on Drew McIntyre in the UK but the virus put pay to that contest too.

The WBC heavyweight champion, 32, dethroned Deontay Wilder in his last boxing bout in February 2020.
But after appearing at WWE Crown Jewel four months earlier where he beat Braun Strowman, the Gypsy King was due to make a return to WWE last year.
And that would likely have seen a super showdown between British pair Fury and McIntyre.
He told Behind The Gloves: “I was supposed to go to SummerSlam last year and I was supposed to go to WrestleMania last year.

“And I was also supposed to fight Drew McIntyre in a pay-per-view event in the UK, but none of that happened thanks to Covid.
“So, Covid has cost me SummerSlam, WrestleMania, PPV with Drew McIntyre, the Wilder rematch, and the [Anthony] Joshua fight.
    “So, thank you, Covid.”
Fury and McIntyre, 35, have been at loggerheads on social media since the Scot beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 last April to become champion.

The duo have repeatedly called each other out to go to war with one another, probably at a UK stadium.
Triple H said it would not be hard to get it arranged – all he had to do was call the WWE executive vice president and a box office blockbuster would be sorted.
Speaking in September, Fury vowed to KO ‘big s***house’ McIntyre.
The 6ft 9ins superstar posted a Twitter video to tell McIntyre: “Big Drew. Big s***house Drew. Listen. Contact my people, Nick Khan, and let’s get it on.
“Get Triple H or Vince (McMahon) to contact Nick and let’s get this fight over the line.”

And he warned the wrestler to forget about his famous Claymore Kick finish – as he is sure he will deliver a devastating finale of his own.
He said: “I’m going to grab your hair. I’ll swing you around that ring.
“Never mind Claymore, you’re going to get knocked the F out by the Gypsy King. That’s my promise, mush.”
Fury is expected to confirm another British showdown in the coming weeks – this time against AJ to put all the heavyweight boxing belts on the line.
But their first fight, due for this summer, is now in jeopardy after Fury told the media he was drinking up to 12 pints per day, had stopped eating and was no longer training.

Arsenal players walk out to WWE wrestling legend Kane’s entrance music for second half of Man Utd clash

ARSENAL continued to rock the WWE anthems through the Emirates PA system during their clash with Manchester United.
The Gunners and Red Devils fought out a goalless draw in North London on Saturday night.

The Big Red Machine Kane’s music blasted out of the Emirates PA

But as Mikel Arteta’s stars entered the pitch for the second period, they were met by the sound of ‘Hell, Fire and Brimstone’.
Just 24 hours before the WWE Royal Rumble extravaganza, the iconic theme music of wrestling legend Kane echoed around the Arsenal home.
And it seems to be becoming a common occurrence in N4.
Back in July they ran out for the second half against Liverpool with the sound of WWE star Triple H’s theme tune blaring.

Fans loved the choice of music and it seemed to do the trick for the Gunners as they hung on to pull off a shock 2-1 win over Liverpool.
And earlier this month they shocked viewers when their players emerged to Kurt Angle’s WWE entrance music.
It was a bizarre choice from the FA Cup holders, as it is common for fans to chant ‘You Suck!’ to the tune.
The song was played as their players emerged for the second half of their drab 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.

Many on social media found the funny side to the song considering Arsenal’s fall from grace in recent years.
One wrote: “Finally, Arsenal have found the right theme song.”
Angle, who has been involved in WWE for more than two decades, was also amused by Arsenal’s actions.
He tweeted: “Arsenal using my theme song. The only thing missing, due to COVID, is 30,000 fans chanting ‘You Suck’.”
The club’s PA announcer, DJ Selenki, is said to be a big wrestling fan – so it probably won’t be the last time we hear a WWE anthem at the Emirates.
