Footage on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows a group of people – thought to be Newcastle fans – stuck inside a pub as chairs and drinks are thrown at the restaurant’s front entrance by both groups.
Bright red flares just outside the front doors can also be seen plaguing the area making it hard to see through the smoke.
According to @GeordieJord who posted the video, the Newcastle fans in the 30 second clip were sat outside a bar having a drink moments before the video started.
It’s also believed there were children, women and families having a drink at the same place when the situation badly escalated.

Many of the people seen throwing chairs at the glass windows have hidden their identities by wearing hoods and face masks.
Throughout the chaos a voice can be heard pleading for the fighting to end.
A man says: “Stop it, Stop, Stop it.”
The clash happened less than 24 hours before their crucial Champions League group stage match that Newcastle need to win to have a chance to qualify for the knockout round.

The teams are both still battling it out to qualify from Group F as all four teams can still go through.
The clip has already got over 440,000 views and has several comments noting that similar issues occured in the return fixture when Parisians came to Newcastle.
Back in October, Newcastle breezed past PSG, battering them 4-1 in their only win in Europe this year but before the game fans clashed and videos showed both sets of fans being aggressive and having to be quickly separated.
Videos show bottles and flares being thrown back and forth between both sets of fans.
Many of those filmed have their hoods up.
Chants of “Who are ya?” could be heard as Newcastle supporters taunted the travelling Parisians on their way to the stadium.
While police officers lined the streets and acted as a barrier between PSG’s away following and the Toon Army.
When Newcastle played Borussia Dortmund in October nine people were reportedly arrested.
There was a heavy police presence on the streets approaching the ground pre match and cops have now revealed eight men and a woman have been detained.
Dortmund supporters were heard chanting in both German and English as fights reportedly broke out between rival fans, with cops attempting to keep them apart.

Shakira was picked up from the back of her £16million Miami Beach mansion before cruising around Biscayne Bay.
The 46-year-old sported a fringed lilac bikini top and matching shorts, wearing her famous long wavy hair loose over her shoulders.
She was all smiles as she boarded the vessel which had an inflatable crocodile strapped to the top – and appeared to be greeted by Lewis.
The Mercedes driver, 38, was wearing a white cap, sunglasses, a black sleeveless top and checkerboard shorts – showing off his distinctive tattoos.

Miami is where Shakira now calls home following her bitter split from ex-Barcelona star Gerard Pique.
And their separation has set rumours swirling about Shakira’s love life.

But despite being seen hanging out with Lewis – The Sun Online understands the duo are just friends.
The pair had been spotted just days before having dinner together at the lavish restaurant Cipriani.

Lewis, the most successful F1 driver of all time, had been in town for the Miami Grand Prix over the weekend – finishing in 6th place.
Smiling at each other, Shakira appeared to join 92-time race winner Lewis and pals at his table in a short video snapped by a fan.
It comes after the singer was spotted mingling with Tom Cruise at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.
Shakira announced her separation form footballer Gerard Pique last May after spending 11 years together.
The Colombian singer-songwriter was reportedly “evicted” from her Barcelona home by Pique’s dad last month, sparking her move back to Miami.
The mum-of-two made no mention of the eviction order in the farewell message she posted on Instagram after being pictured leaving the Catalan capital with her two children to start a new life in Florida.

Shakira and Pique confirmed in November they had reached a child custody agreement after a marathon 12-hour meeting with their lawyers.
They signed the accord at a court in Barcelona the following month.
As part of the agreement Pique, now dating 24-year-old Catalan beauty Clara Chia, will spend holiday time with his children.
Shakira’s wish to move to Miami, where she used to live and where some of of her family are based, is understood to have been the sticking point in the former couple’s previous failure to strike an out-of-court settlement.
The singer came under fire in March after performing her diss track with Argentinian DJ Bizarrap, in which she blasts Pique and his new girlfriend, on the Jimmy Fallon late-night show earlier this month.
The singer’s explosive song, left little doubt that she was referring to her former partner and his younger lover.
In the track, she took a swipe at Clara’s age with the lyrics: “I’m worth two 22s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded a Rolex for a Casio.”
Pique responded to the song by turning up to work in an £8,000 Renault Twingo.
He also boasted that his new seven-a-side project the King’s League had landed a sponsorship deal with Casio – adding that the cheaper watch would “last a lifetime”.
Pique said in a subsequent interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais he was “very happy” following the dramatic changes in his life which have included the split with Shakira and retirement from football.

He was spotted late last month romancing his new girlfriend with red roses as the controversial couple holidayed in Dubai.
The pair are believed to be enjoying their first loved-up holiday in the United Arab Emirates since they went public with their relationship.

Man Utd superfan Kim Jong-un set to tune in for FA Cup – along with thousands of North Koreans who love English football

KIM Jong-un is preparing to watch his beloved Manchester United take on Brighton in the FA Cup – along with a surprising number of his fellow citizens. The tyrant revealed his fondness for the Red Devils to a visiting western politician and reportedly never misses a game or a major football tournament.

Wembley will packed with 90,000 Man Utd and Brighton fans for the FA Cup semi-final – but 5300 miles away Kim will likely be tuning in on a giant screen in one of his many palaces to watch the game.
Kim rules North Korea with a rod of iron with the lives of its 25 million citizens carefully controlled and its isolation as well as hostility to the outside world has earned it the nickname the “Hermit Kingdom”.
Smuggling in videos of foreign films and TV programmes can lead to execution while even letting kids watch them can result in parents being sent to hellhole prison camps.
But one of the foreign influences has managed to seep through the tiny cracks from the outside world into North Korea – is the Premier League.
    READ MORE ON NORTH KOREA
Experts told The Sun Online that incredibly the ruthless regime manages to get hold of Premier League games & other fixtures before actually broadcasting them on TV.
But the games are shown on an up to four week delay – so meaning whoever wins today, the North Koreans won’t find out until we are just days away from the FA Cup Final.
Martyn Williams, a researcher who monitors North Korean TV, explained that state-run broadcasts actually show sports everyday – many of them from the West, including the football from England.
And meanwhile, North Korea expert Jean Lee, from the Wilson Center think tank, said North Koreans have an affinity with English football due to the national team’s success in 1966.
    Most read in Football
It is unclear how the North Koreans get hold of the tightly controlled broadcasts – but Kim’s regime is known for smuggling in any goods they can’t get their hands on due to sanctions.
So it’s likely dodgy broadcasts of sports are likely the same – with North Korean market vendors also understood to
Kim himself seems to be leading the way with his guilty pleasure, if the word of Italian politician Antonio Razzi is to be believed.
Razzi is a friend of the crackpot dictator and confirmed to The Sun that Kim told him during private conversations that he’s a huge fan of Man Utd.
The Italian Senator is a controversial and eccentric figure in Italian politics, who has become well-known in his homeland mainly due to his close friendship with Kim.
It certainly seems that there’s knowledge of football and the big teams are well known.Martyn Williams
While the idea of Kim being a football fan might at first glance seem at odds with the way he runs the country, a deeper look into his background reveals it might
Ordinary North Koreans themselves may remain bottled in but for the country’s elite it’s a different story.
As the son of North Korea’s former leader Kim Jong-il, from whom he inherited the position, he was sent to a boarding school in Switzerland.
Whilst there he fell in love with western sports including football and basketball with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls vying with Man Utd for his affection.
He even struck up a bizarre friendship with basketball star Dennis Rodman, who has visited North Korea several times.
The chubby chain smoker may himself not be the finest athletic specimen but it seems his love of the beautiful game has opened the door for North Koreans to share his passion.
Not only are they seemingly mad about the Premier League but North Korea’s national side has a proud tradition, getting to the quarter final in 1966.
And occasionally their players do break through, with one being the North Korean “Ronaldo” Han Kwang-song.
He played for Juventus – and was even linked to big money moves to Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton – before being forced back home due to sanctions.
But reportedly being from an ordinary background in North Korea – he revealed how closed off the normal population is, with him allegedly admitted to a Liverpool scout he had never heard of Steven Gerrard.
Han may not have heard of Stevie G but for many North Koreans, Premier League players are as familiar to them as they are to us.
Mr Williams, who studies North Korean TV, said every citizen will have access to Premier League games and other football.
Williams explained that there’s one TV channel across North Korea.
It used to broadcast from 3-11pm but increased those hours from 9am to 11am, with a lot of that time filled showing football matches, he said.
“North Korea bans all outside media so people don’t have satellite dishes which means they’re restricted to what’s on state television,” said Williams, a senior fellow at the Stimson Center foreign affairs think tank.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic it has been showing one sporting event a day, usually the Premier League or one of the European leagues.
“It’s on a delay and it’s usually lightly edited and runs to about an hour or more so it’s not the entire game but it’s most of the game.”
On the day he talked to The Sun Online he said North Korean TV was showing highlights of Liverpool against Real Madrid from March 15.
As for the FA Cup semi-final “there’s certainly a chance that it will be on North Korean TV though we’re talking in three or four weeks”.
“What you have to remember is that because North Korea is so closed off, if you missed the match this weekend you’re going to hear about it, but people there won’t know the score, even if it’s a month late.
“There’s such a clampdown on information coming into the country, that information doesn’t really matter that much.”
He also said North Korea even has state approved football bloggers who interview fans.
“So it certainly seems that there’s knowledge of football and the big teams are well known.”
But while ordinary people face restrictions Williams said: “Kim Jong-un is a law unto himself and while certainly be able to watch the game if he wants to.”
North Korea expert Jean Lee, from the Wilson Center think tank, explained the deep links between North Korea and football in England.
“They are huge fans of Premier League teams and soccer is a hugely popular sport in the country,” she said.
“Those players from 1966 were huge stars and they made North Korea look so good by reaching the quarter finals.
“It introduced to North Koreans that they could be proud of their country through sport.”
Foreign football was first introduced to the country via recorded games being sold on DVD, she explained.

These could then be bought for a “small fee” and then watched at home.
“Do the regime decided it was ok for them to have a passion for international football.”
North Korea’s 1966 Glory & DownfallIT was one of the biggest upsets in the history of football as isolated and war-damaged North Korea knocked European powerhouse Italy out of the 1966 World Cup.
“The fall of the Roman Empire had nothing on this,” reported one British newspaper as Kim’s XI edged a victory over the title contenders 1-0 in Middlesbrough.
It was one of the most incredible stories on the pitch, but it is claimed to have been followed by one of the most horrifying twists off the field in the history of the World Cup.
North Korea became the first Asian team in history to progress beyond the first round just 13 years after the end of the bloody and devastating Korean War.
And while their glorious victory should have been as celebrated as England winning the 1966 title in the final tie against Germany – it is claimed they did not return as heroes.
Instead the brutal regime are claimed to have savagely punished their players for bringing shame on the country after being knocked out in their next game 5-3 against Portugal.
It is claimed the the team had gone out drinking two nights before their match – which impacted their performance.
And these actions were deemed as “decadence” and not becoming of one representing the Dear Leader.
Members of the team are claimed to have returned to Pyongyang facing damnation – being sent to the gulags of Kim’s grandfather, then North Korean leader Kim Il-sung.
It is a claim which has been disputed over the years – dismissed by some as “Cold War propaganda”.
Surviving members of the team in North Korea have publicly denied they were banged up in the camps and claim they were still celebrated.
But respected North Korea defector and journalist Kang Chol-hwan claims first-hand in his book The Aquariums of Pyongyang that he met one of the players in the infamous gulag Yodok.
Kang claims all thoughts of their 1966 football glory had faded – and the entire team aside from Pak Doo-ik, who scored the winner against Italy, had been sent to concentration camps.
He says they were subject to decades of torture and starvation.
But their glory and downfall saw Middlesbrough really get behind the North Koreans.
The town took the little known team to their hearts with a connection that persists to this day – and even saw surviving members of team visit in 2002. More

Michael Schumacher AI ‘interview’ is incredibly dangerous and shows how ‘poisoned’ bots can be weaponised, warns expert

A SHAMELESS AI-generated Michael Schumacher “interview” shows how “poisoned” bots can be weaponised, an expert has warned.German magazine Die Aktuelle was slammed after claiming to feature the F1 legend’s “first exclusive interview” since his horrific ski crash.
An AI expert has warned that the ‘poisoned’ bots can be weaponised following the AI generated Michael Schumacher interviewCredit: PA:Press Association
Die Aktuelle touted the article as a ‘world first interview’
But the article was not all it seemed as it was revealed the article spewed ghoulish claims about Schumacer’s health – after being generated by an artificial intelligence-driven chatbot.
The magazine was branded “tasteless” for publishing the phony interview and the iconic racer’s family are now reportedly considering legal action against the company.
Lisa Palmer, an AI analyst and expert, told The Sun Online just how dangerous the digital bots can be in these situations – and how they could be used in increasingly scary and dangerous ways.
She warned content like fake AI generated interviews will only become more and more common as the technology developments and is misused by “rotten” actors.
    READ MORE WORLD NEWS
And while the “interview” with Schuey is ghoulish – AI could be weaponised by in even more dangerous ways, such as faking chats with politicians.
She added that with people already misusing AI, future versions of the systems will become “poisoned” through their machine learning.
Palmer told The Sun Online: “Some of these fakes are such high quality that only a computer can tell the difference between what is fake and what is real.”
The expert explained the pending lawsuit by Schumacher’s family is the latest round of AI-centred litigation – something which is also going to become increasingly common.
    Most read in World News
“Lawsuits are already pending for defamation due to ‘lies’ being perpetuated by generative AI tools like ChatGPT,” she told The Sun Online.
Asked if it’s something we will be seeing more in the future she replied: “Yes, fakes in every form – written, voice, and video – are all exploding.”
The fake “world exclusive” saw an AI-created version of seven-time F1 champion Schumacher “open up” on his life since suffering a catastrophic brain injury during a family holiday in the French Alps in December 2013.
In the piece, which the magazine claims “sounded deceptively real”, Schuey is purported to say: “My life has changed completely since [the accident].
“That was a horrible time for my wife, my children and the whole family.”
Palmer warned that following this shocking publication, bad actors who are seeking to grab viewership are going to be tempted to use the AI interview method more.
She even related the nightmare situation to the severity of a chef selling rotten food to their customers.
“A chef who serves rotten food is unethical and puts their customers’ health at risk,” she said.
“Rotten food leads to personal illness. Rotten reporting leads to societal illness.”
After it was revealed that the piece was thrown together using an AI chatbot, readers were left stunned about how much detail it went into about Schumacher’s supposed recovery.
Asked how “he” feels today, the AI says: “Much better than years ago. With the help of my team, I can even stand on my own again and even walk a few steps slowly.”
The article only revealed at the end of the shambolic “interview” that the entire thing had been created using an AI.
This is the worst possible combination of powerful technology in the hands of unethical people.Lisa Palmer
Palmer said: “Imagine if a major news outlets ran a fabricated political story that caused an uprising among citizens? This type of unethical reporting is incredibly dangerous.
“This is the worst possible combination of powerful technology in the hands of unethical people.
“Now, imagine that these fake stories become training data for AI systems.
“Newer versions of AI are now ‘poisoned’ with lies.”
Dr Tim Stevens, a cyber security expert from Kings College London also pointed out the challenges posed by AI highlighted by the Schumacher “interview” .
“It will be interesting to see the case for legal action,” he told The Sun Online.
He told The Sun Online: “You have to wonder what Die Aktuelle was thinking.”
Dr Stevens went on: “Even granting that this might have been some kind of experiment in content production, the readers of Die Aktuelle would not have known this until they had read to the end of the article.
“This is deceitful behaviour by the magazine, which instead plastered the story across it front cover.
“The magazine’s readers should feel aggrieved, although obviously not as much as Schumacher and his family.
“Schumacher’s status as a sporting superstar does not excuse the magazine’s actions. He is a vulnerable person and should have been accorded the dignity he deserves.”
He added: “In terms of the wider implications, this should give publishers pause for thought.
“Publishing fallacious material on persons living or dead is terrible practice, regardless of how it is produced.”

Even though Die Aktuelle admitted to not actually speaking to Michael or his family, the story concluded with the anonymous writer saying if they had managed to speak to Michael himself it would have been a “real miracle.”
Michael has been in a medically induced coma since 2013 and little has been known about his health ever since.

She revealed her heartbreaking battle with cancer in a social media post explaining her absence from the Nürburgring Endurance Series with her team Frikadelli Racing.
“Dear friends of professional motor sport, many of you have probably wondered why I was on the list of participants on our Porsche in the NSL and then didn’t drive after all,” she wrote.
“I would like to provide enlightenment here, I think I owe it to my/our fans!
“Since the end of 2017, I have been fighting an extremely persistent cancer that has not been eliminated with the resources so far.
“It got a little better – but now it’s come back with full force.
“Now I have to draw all the strength and nerve to master the next powerful therapies … hoping something [good] will happen. So I say goodbye ‘probably’ for the first time this season.

“In addition, I would like to thank everyone for their help and support in my everyday life, and encouragement in writing!
“So sweethearts, now you have an update. Please stay healthy and cheerful, see you at the ‘Ring’.”
