I am USA’s ‘hottest World Cup fan’ – I hope we beat England but there is something about the Brits that makes me MELT

AN AMERICAN woman dubbed the “hottest World Cup fan” has faith her team will triumph over England – but admitted she just can’t resist Brits charms. Rachel Stuhlmann, 26, has football fans falling at her feet with her sexy snaps showing her support for her side ahead of Friday’s game.

She has become a ‘huge soccer fan’ following the end of her pro tennis careerCredit: Jam Press
The former tennis pro turned influencer sported an eye-popping bra adorned with the US flag to rally Americans before their team take on their transatlantic rivals.
Although she only attended her first-ever football game on November 16 in her hometown of from St Louis, Missouri, Rachel has buckets of enthusiasm for the World Cup.
She says she was converted to a “huge soccer fan”, even though St Louis’ reserve team lost 0-3 against Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
But despite being ready to witness a win, Rachel admitted she is somewhat a fan of the Three Lions too.

The 26-year-old, who boasts a whopping 234,000 Instagram followers, confessed Brits have the ability to make her “melt”.
The six-foot brunette said eligible bachelors from the UK disarm her with their irresistible accent.
Rachel gushed: “I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about either team’s seasons to be able to make an intelligent prediction.
“I’ve heard the England team is amazing and are one of the favourites to win not only that game, but the whole tournament.

“However, since they didn’t qualify for World Cup in 2018, I think USA will come out ready to play and with a chip on their shoulder!
“I think it’s going to be an entertaining and well-played game. But I wish both teams could win.
“I’ve met a few British guys on tour and they are all so nice and charming – I just love the accent, it melts me!”
England is heading into tonight’s game in stunning form after thrashing Iran 6-2 in their opener in Doha.
But now they’ll have to switch their focus on USA, who drew 1-1 with Wales on Monday night.
Rachel is putting down her tennis racket to tune into the pivotal game that kicks off at 7pm UK time.
She is swerving the sweltering heat in Qatar to watch the game elsewhere, as she prefers a colder climate.
The athlete added: “I love cold weather! Winter time is my absolute favourite time of year!
“I love the fall and winter seasons and the holidays. My favourite thing is spending time with my family around the holidays. I also love the fresh air outside when it’s cold, and fall and winter fashion.
“I love staying in on a winter night and watching a movie!”
Rachel first gained recognition after playing NCAA Division I tennis for the University of Missouri from 2010 to 2014, earning a national ranking in singles and doubles.

She then moved into journalism and modelling, and now uses her online profile to “keep pushing the sport of tennis forwards”.
The influencer said: “My goal is to make the sport more mainstream and relatable – cool like other sports!”

    HANDICAP BETTING: ENGLAND -1 – 6/4
England looked to be back to their best in the 6-2 demolition of Iran while the US faded against Wales after a strong first half. With their scoring boots firmly on, the Three Lions could rack up a few goals in another win.
    OVER 2.5 GOALS – 4/5
Gareth Southgate’s side did look a bit shaky at times on Monday so the USA might fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet – but expect them to concede too.
BUKAYO SAKA TO SCORE OR ASSIST – 5/6
Saka was one of England’s star men on Monday and he’s been having a super season for Arsenal. With two World Cup goals to his name and 10 direct involvements for the Gunners, there’s a good chance he sets one up or scores.
TIMOTHY WEAH TO HAVE 1+ SHOTS ON TARGET – EVS
Weah scored USA’s goal against Wales and looked a real threat cutting in from the right-hand side. He’ll be looking to get in behind England’s back line and will fancy his chances of having another shot on target.
TYLER ADAMS TO BE SHOWN A CARD – 21/10
Adams and Weston McKennie were all action against Wales, and this hyperactivity could translate into cards against England. The Leeds man is more likely to be booked here as McKennie already has one to his name in the tournament.

ENGLAND are back in action against the United States as the second round of World Cup group stage fixtures get underway today. And SunSport are on-hand to preview Day 6 of the competition while bringing you our carefully selected best bets, sign-up offers and exclusive bonuses from our partners.
Day 6: England are back in action against USACredit: GETTY
Ready to do it all over again?
Day SIX of the competition sees the second round of fixtures begin, and it’s Group A and Group B that take centre-stage.
Wales lost to Iran in the 10am kick-off, and that was followed by a victory for Senegal over hosts Qatar at the Al Thumama Stadium.
The Netherlands and Ecuador, who both boast three points in Group A, then clash in what could decide who finishes top.
Then it’s time for the transatlantic rivalry between England and USA at 7pm.
If you already have a bet in mind, you can take advantage of Bet UK’s amazing £66 bonus welcome offer. Claim HERE*.
You could also take advantage of this excellent Day 6 special from Betfair. Get England and Netherlands both to win to nil at 7/1. CLAIM HERE
    England vs USA
After their emphatic 6-2 victory over Iran in Monday’s opening group game, England are back in action.
The Three Lions showed they mean business against their 20th-ranked opponents, and could make another statement with Harry Kane fit and available for selection after a fitness scare.
England will qualify for the last 16 if they beat the United States and should capitalise on the buoyant mood they’ve built in camp.
Things aren’t so buoyant for the US, who fell apart in the second half against Wales.
Gregg Berhalter’s side flew out the traps but subsided before eventually being pegged back by a late Gareth Bale penalty.

Our pick: Kane 2+ shots on target and England to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 at 7/1 with Sky Bet. New Sky Bet customers can claim £40 in free bets. CLAIM HERE*

    Netherlands vs Ecuador
This could be a very interesting tie indeed.
The Netherlands were a touch fortunate to escape with three points over a resilient Senegal, and the 2-0 scoreline arguably flattered them.
But the introduction of forward Memphis Depay, who was previously a fitness concern, completely changed the game for Louis van Gaal’s side.
The 28-year-old almost certainly starts on Friday, and he’ll be needed against the impressive Ecuador.
Ecuador dealt with the pressure of the competition’s opening game against the hosts, who’d never lost the opening game of a World Cup.
Enter Valencia was sharp when bagging a brace, and Brighton duo Moises Caicedo and Pervis Estupinan added a touch of class to the XI.

Our pick: We think Ecuador will throw a spanner in the works by claiming three points at odds of 4/1 with Betfair. New Betfair customers will receive £30 in free bets when they stake £10 on football. CLAIM HERE*

BBC pundit Robbie Savage mocked for claiming ‘it’s only Iran, I could still play against them and win’ before Wales loss

ROBBIE SAVAGE has been ridiculed after claiming “it’s only Iran” and that even he could “win a game of football” against Carlos Queiroz’s side before Wales’ shellshock defeat.Rob Page’s men were humbled by the Iranian national team after losing 2-0 at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium and are now facing a mountain to climb to reach the World Cup Last 16.

Robbie Savage was blasted on social media after claiming Wales would destroy IranCredit: Getty
The Dragons capitulated after Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was sent off on 86 minutes.
Iran then opened the scoring with Rouzbeh Cheshmi in the 99TH MINUTE before Ramin Rezaeian completed the upset victory just three minutes later.
Savage, 48, was left with egg on his face as he was adamant on Monday that Wales would destroy Iran.
The former Leicester ace even insisted his non-league club Macclesfield would beat Queiroz’s men.
    Read More on World Cup
Savage told co-host Chris Sutton while presenting 606 on BBC Radio: “It’s only Iran… Iran were terrible, terrible, and you think Wales will finish bottom?
“I could still play against Iran now and win a game of football. Iran are that bad I think Wales and USA will beat Iran.

“I’ve watched all the TV coverage, Iran were useless. Macclesfield would beat Iran.”
Sutton warned against underestimating Iran and was proven right as Wales’ chances of World Cup qualification hang in the balance after previously drawing 1-1 with USA.

The ex-Chelsea ace took to social media after the game and gave his co-host a slice of humble pie.
Sutton tweeted: “‘It’s only Iran’ @RobbieSavage8 said the other night. So disrespectful. Iran deserved this by far the better team. Wales have been schooled. Well played Iran.”
Savage responded with a Welsh flag and sad emoji: “Looking forward to 606 tonight.”
More fans took to Twitter to give the famous pundit a piece of their mind.
One fan tweeted: “Robbie Savage spent the night after the first round of group matches utterly disrespecting the footballing ability of Iran. Repeatedly. On national BBC radio. Life is good.”
Another posted: “I’ll be interested to hear Robbie Savage talk about this Wales performance given how he could not stop saying how awful Iran were after they played England.”
A third wrote: “Just wondering if Iran are still the worst team in the competition @RobbieSavage8.”
This fan said: “A very disrespectful comment from Savage. This was always going to be a tough game for both nations.
“Unlucky Wales, you couldn’t fault their effort, but this was Iran’s day and they absolutely deserved the win.”
And that one tweeted: “Bet Robbie Savage regrets saying how s**t Iran are on 606 now.” More

They delivery is poor and Qatar clear easily.

    78. What a moment for Muntari and Qatar.
We may have a game on our hands here.
Still time left for an equaliser.
Great header from Muntari beating Mendy well.
    Goal – Mohammed Muntari (Qatar)
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    76. This will be seen as a solid result for Senegal.
Putting them back in with a chance of qualification.
Qatar still looking to find a goal here.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    74. Aziz and Muntari come on for Qatar.
Senegal having brought on two strikers.
With quarter of an hour remaining they seem intent on more goals.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    72. Senegal are happy to play the ball around now.
Game management can see them through in this game.
Cisse will want to see them keep a clean sheet now.

    70. Hatem comes on for Qatar.
    Boudiaf is the player replaced.
Senegal counter and Mendy gets a shot off at goal, a few feet wide of the angle.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    68. Shots on target are like buses.
Qatar again draw a fantastic save from Mendy as the ball comes off Mahmoud’s knee but was heading into the bottom corner.
Finally the home side are starting to have a go in this World Cup.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    66. The Senegal drums continue to beat in the stands.
Afif comes forward looking to make something happen.
All too often it just seems to be Afif versus the Senegal midfield and defense.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    64. Qatar have had their first shot on goal of the World Cup.
It only took 165 minutes but Ali draws a great save from Mendy.
    Great save.
Pathe Ciss comes on for Diatta for Senegal.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    62. Victory today would leave an interesting final game against Ecuador for both fans and neutrals alike.
Depending on the results later it could be a winner takes all game.
Qatar look to come forward, again jogging, only Afif seems to want to change this game.

    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    60. It is ironic really.
In a country that is constantly questioned about alleged human rights violations that their football strike force is so blunt.
They need to show more urgency in their play, like it isn’t an exhibition match.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    58. Hoping for Qatar to get two quick goals to make a game out of this may be too much to ask.
    Let’s keep it more simple.
We now want Qatar to have a shot on target before full time.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    56. Ismail is caught as he drags the ball back, sending the defender to the shops,
Free kick for Qatar in a dangerous position.
Ball is clipped in, not dealt with by Senegal and as Qatar look to get a shot off it hits one of their own players.
Sums up their tournament right there.
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    54. Cannot imagine what the crowd will be like in Qatar’s final game.
    Just an away end maybe.
Although the official attendance will still no doubt be 222,000.
    Credit: Reuters
    Qatar 0-2 Senegal
    52. Qatar need to have a go at this now.
Not that they look like a team who are holding back in any way.
They have just looked out of their depth in their two games so far.

Kai Havertz calls for unity in Germany dressing room with flops facing fight to stay in World Cup ahead of Spain clash

KAI HAVERTZ has appealed for unity in the Germany squad and admits failing to do his ‘bloody duty’ in their shock opening game defeat.Shellshocked players held a clear-the-air meeting with coach Hansi Flick yesterday 24 hours after losing 2-1 to Japan.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan accused the German forwards of going missing as they chased the game.
Chelsea star Havertz admits they must pull together in Sunday’s crunch Group G clash with in-form Spain as they try to salvage World Cup dreams.
Havertz said: “Ilkay complained that people went into hiding. He said our offensive players failed to score a second or third goal. It was very constructive criticism.
“We talked about the whole match so it took a bit longer to go through all the things we did badly and where we need to improve with Sunday in mind.

“Now is the time to speak to each other and tell each other the truth, that is what makes the team stronger.
“We have analysed the game very well and seen our shortcomings and the areas we need to get better in.
“Now we have to approach as a true team and put foot on the accelerator in a crunch game
“We are in a bad moment but that can switch around quite fast.

“It can be the turnaround for us. It is a big game. I am lucky I played a few big games at Chelsea.
“We are always in the spotlight, always in for a lot of criticism. Not everyone stands behind us. I don’t worry my head about it.

“We focus solely on the game against Spain on Sunday. It matters zero what happened in the past, it is water under the bridge.
“I like playing centre forward but when put in that position it is your bloody duty to score goals which I didn’t do against Japan.

“I recognise that. Put in the same position on Sunday I will do everything in my power to help the team.”
Julian Brandt was an unused sub in the Group G match but admits Germany are deep in the brown, smelly stuff and appeared to knock boss Hansi Flick’s enterprising tactics.
The Germans were 1-0 up only to crumble in the second half.
Borussia Dortmund winger Brandt said: “We are verbally in a s****y situation but we have a chance to turn it around in a big way.
“We are between a rock and a hard place. Maybe we should have sat deeper and played a counter-attacking game.
“When we can’t score we should sit deep and win in an unspectacular way.”

There will be no repeat of the Germany team’s covered mouths protest aimed at Fifa in the ongoing row over the OneLove armband campaign.
Next opponents Spain are on the crest of a wave following a 7-0 smashing of Costa Rica in their first game.
There could not be a greater contrast between confidence levels between the two international giants.
Havertz, 23, admitted: “We went into the dressing room with heads low and shoulders dropped. I can understand that. Of course we talked about what went wrong.
“Everyone needs to pull their weight and get back to a positive stride.

“A 7-0 win is a clear signal and we have great respect for the Spain team.
“We know they have quality but will we hide? Not at all. We just need to put it on the pitch.”

Qatar 1 Senegal 3: Hosts on verge of crashing out after second loss as Senegal win keeps World Cup hopes alive

THAT’S the way the Koukhi crumbles lads… and the reason you’re set to become the first country to leave your own World Cup party.Boulaye Dia, Famara Diedhiou and Bamba Dieng may have shared the headlines for the goals which are likely to earn Qatar an unwanted slice of footballing history.

Yet the real story was the cock up behind the opener – a horrendous clanger from Boualem Koukhi – which teed up Dia.
Centre back Koukhi was under no undue pressure as he tried to swipe a ball from Krepin Diatta’s away from the danger area.
But he totally fluffed his lines, ended up on his backside and was left beating the turf in anger as Dia drilled in from ten yards.
It kept Senegal’s own dreams alive, and left Qatar staring at the earliest farewell from a World Cup host.

Three minutes into the second half it was confirmed, too, as Senegal bagged a second and the rush for the exits began.
In fairness, Ismail Jakobs’ corner was a cracker, but although Diedhiou’s header was powerful, it was above Meshaa Barsham and a top level keeper would have kept it out.

At that point you feared the worst, as Senegal threatened to run riot in case escaping the group came down to goal difference.
So fair play to Qatar for sticking at it…and fair play for finally gaining some reward with their first ever World Cup goal.

Senegal scored three times from just five shots on target
It came after Ismail Mohammad produced a superb cross from the right which more than matched the fantastic control he showed in bringing it down.
Mohammed Muntari, who had just arrived from the bench, rose above a flat-footed Kalidou Koulibaly and nodded it into the far corner. And a goal well merited it was, too.
For a little more than six minutes Qatar dreamt of the most sensational of comebacks.
Until Senegal’s own supersub put paid to that, when Dieng swept in the third.
So in the end all Qatar had to show for their efforts was a sense of what might have been – especially if a decent first half penalty claim had gone their way, when it was still goalless.
Replays certainly suggested that Ismaila Sarr appeared to catch Akrim Afif as they went shoulder to shoulder in the box.

But Spanish referee Antonio Mateu waved away the claims, VAR official Alejandro Hernandez agreed, and it was to prove a pivotal moment.
Just to rub salt into Qatari wounds, they also set another unwanted World Cup first for the longest time a host nation went without a goal.
Prior to this it was the 135 minutes Mexico waited before finding the net in their second game in 1970.
Well it now stands at 167 – that’s how long it took Qatar to trouble the scorer thanks to Muntari’s effort.
Not that it’s exactly a place in the record books they’ll be celebrating, of course….
