    South Korea 1-1 Portugal
43, Vitinha sets up Dalot after some mouth-watering feet on the edge of the area.
He squares it to Horta who spins and strikes an effort on goal, but it lacked power and Seung-Gyu can hold on to it.
If Portugal keep playing like this, a goal shouldn’t be far away.
    South Korea 1-1 Portugal
42, Portugal work possession well and Vitinha takes on the shot, dummying a shot before whipping one across the goalkeeper.
Seung-Gyu parries and Ronaldo is first to react, sending an instinctive header wide of the target.
    South Korea 1-1 Portugal
    40, Son has a go!
The Tottenham man controls the ball brilliantly before working it on to his left and firing an effort right down the throat of Costa.
Oh, how he’d love a goal at this tournament.
    South Korea 1-1 Portugal
    37, Beautiful football by Portugal.

That would have been one of the goals of the tournament.
    South Korea 1-1 Portugal
34, Dalot has a shot from distance.
The full-back makes another great run and plucks it out of the sky before curling an effort low to the keeper’s right.
Seung-Gyu gets a strong palm to it and the scores remain level.

    GOAL! South Korea 1-1 Portugal
26, Kim Young-Gwon levels the scores!
The corner is missed by Portugal’s defenders, deflecting off Ronaldo’s back and falling for the South Korea man who had stayed alive in the six-yard box.
He slashes the ball past Costa and sends the South Korean fans into chaos. Game on!

    South Korea 0-1 Portugal

    South Korea 0-1 Portugal
16, Jin-Su has the ball in the back of the net, but it won’t count.
South Korea work the corner short and Son curled in a wicked delivery. Young-Gwon got a flick, sending it to the back post where Jin-Su was arriving.
But the flag was promptly raised against him. That will give the Asian side some hope, though.

    South Korea 0-1 Portugal
14, Portugal use the long ball again, finding Cancelo down the left who jinks one way then the other before cannoning an effort across goal.
Seung-Gyu manages to parry the ball away from danger.
    Credit: Reuters
    South Korea 0-1 Portugal
11, We mustn’t forget that South Korea came back from two goals down to Ghana to get to 2-2.
This looks like a tougher task, but Paulo Bento will take some comfort from the fact his side have come back from behind already this tournament.
    South Korea 0-1 Portugal
It all felt far too easy for Portugal that goal.
They were simply too quick for South Korea who were totally undone by one long ball over the top.
Mind you, brilliantly clinical by Portugal who are in full control now.
    Credit: Reuters
    GOAL! South Korea 0-1 Portugal
5, Horta fires Portugal in front!
Pepe clips the ball over to Dalot who’s first touch is fantastic, before gliding past Jin-Su and putting it on a plate for Horta.
The winger made no mistake, curling it first time beyond Seung-Gyu and Portugal have lift-off, far too early for South Korea’s liking.

    South Korea 0-0 Portugal
3, Ronaldo draws the applause after some quick feet by the corner flag.
It doesn’t take much for him to get a crowd going.

Stay up to date with all the latest from the Group H clash…
    More penalty heartache…
We have a half-time update for you from SunSport reporter Martin Blackburn…
“More penalty heartache for Ghana at the hands of Uruguay.
“And to rub salt in the wounds, Luis Suarez once again taking centre stage with a couple of assists.
“The Black Stars revenge mission for what happened in Johannesburg 12 years ago is not exactly going to plan.
“Two goals from Flamengo’s Giorgian de Arrascaeta in the space of six minutes have put the South Americans on the brink of the knock-out stages.
“You might have guessed Suarez had a hand in both of his country’s first goals of the tournament so far.
“Yet how different this Group H showdown could have been if Ghana had scored the spot-kick given to them by the VAR for a foul by keeper Sergio Rochet on Mohammed Kudus.
“Former Swansea forward Andre Ayew – who now plays in Qatar – saw his tame spot-kick saved by Rochet.
“Ghana have a lot to do to get back in the contest while Uruguay cannot start celebrating yet. They will need to keep an eye on what is happening in the game between Portgual and South Korea as a goal for Son Heung Min’s men could change the complexion of the group again.”
    Half-time stats.
This is what the match stats are looking like at half-time, with Uruguay really dominating in the game so far…
The match stats between Ghana and Uruguay at half-time.
    HT. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
The referee calls the first half to a close, and it is Uruguay who are in the driving seat now, they go into half-time with a two goal lead.
    45+8. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
This is more like the Uruguay side that people were expecting to see at the 2022 World Cup.
They have been admittedly excellent in the first half, De Arrascaeta has had a huge part to play in that.
    45+5. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
It is half time in the game between Portugal and South Korea, the scoreline in that game is 1-1.
    45+2. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
Uruguay look like they have the blueprint set out now for the rest of this game; to be patient and work Ghana.
They play the ball around their defence, and are really going to make Ghana work to get the ball back.
    45. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
There will be eight minutes of added time.
    44. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
    That is vintage Luis Suarez.
A cheeky, cheeky nutmeg on Inaki Williams in the corner of the pitch.
He drives towards the box, but a tackle bounces back off of him and goes out for a goal kick.
    42. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
That looks painful on Alidou as there is a potential stamp on the Ghanian from De Arrascaeta.
He is screaming in pain, and there is not even a hint of action being taken.
    40. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
We have an update from Martin Lipton, who can get a real feel for the feeling inside the ground, and this is what he has to say:
“The Ghana fans cannot believe what they have witnessed.
    “Absolutely broken in the stands.
“All those hopes, fading to dust.
“They need to get a grip in the game. One goal and it’s all change.”
    38. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
Nunez gets through and sends Baba Rahman to the shops before looking to cut the ball back to Luis Suarez.
He wants a free-kick after feeling like he is fouled, not for the first time in his career.
    36. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
Kudus has a go from outside the box for Ghana, but it is wide.
Ghana games have given us nothing but entertainment so far in this tournament, and it is still only the first half.
It is not over yet for the Black Stars…
    34. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
Ghana are in real trouble now.
Luis Suarez picked up the ball in the box after a touch from Darwin Nunez. and he lifted the ball up high over Seidu at right back.
It fell to Georgian De Arrascaeta, who took his time and smashed the ball past Ati-Zigi.
    Great finish.
De Arrascaeta gets his brace with a thunderous volley.Credit: Getty
    32. Ghana 0-2 Uruguay.
It’s 2-0! De Arrascaeta has his brace, and what a strike that is!
Assisted by Luis Suarez once again!
    30. Ghana 0-1 Uruguay.
South Korea have equalised against Portugal.
That means as it stands, Portugal will top the group and Uruguay will go through in second place…
    28. Ghana 0-1 Uruguay.
That is poor defensively from Ghana…
A mess of a clearance from Seidu falls at the feet of Luis Suarez, who fires a low shot at goal.
Ati-Zigi really doesn’t do enough with it and it bounces off of the goalkeeper for De Arrascaeta to head home.
Could Ghana face World Cup agony at the hands of Luis Suarez and Ghana once again?
    26. Ghana 0-1 Uruguay.
There it is! Uruguay’s first goal of this World Cup finals!
It’s Georgian De Arrascaeta! Assisted by Luis Suarez!
De Arrascaeta celebrates against GhanaCredit: Getty
    24. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
Cleared off the line by Salisu!
Suarez dispossesses Amartey at the back and plays in Nunez, who dinks the ball over the top of Ati-Zigi.
It looks like it must bounce in, but Salisu of Southampton is there to clear the ball off the line.
This game has all the drama of 12 years ago!
    22. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
    Missed!
Andre Ayew has missed from the spot, just as Ghana did 12 years ago…
It is a really poor penalty it must be said, it is not powerful enough or precise enough.
Rochet makes the save to his left hand side.
Sergio Rochet denied Andre Ayew from the spot.Credit: Getty
    20. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
A yellow card for Darwin Nunez, who is trying to get access to the penalty spot to scuff it up…
It is going to be Andre Ayew against Sergio Rochet from the spot…
    18. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
    Penalty for Ghana!
    18. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
However it IS being checked for offside by VAR, and we could have a penalty for Ghana here, wouldn’t that be ironic?
    16. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
Close for Ghana, denied by offside!
Jordan Ayew drove towards the goal and fired a shot, that was saved by the Uruguayan goalkeeper.
Kudus then picked up the rebound, and chipped the ball over the keeper before being bought down.
Initially I thought it was a penalty, but the referee blows for offisde.
    14. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
Ghana fail to do so, and a flick on by Suarez falls to Darwin Nunez who drives at the Ghanaian defence before eventually being dispossessed.
    12. Ghana 0-0 Uruguay.
Uruguay have definitely started the better of the two sides, as De Arrascaeta whips the ball into the middle for Uruguay.
It is met by Ati-Zigi and Ghana will look to clear.

Having started the tournament with around 20,000 followers on Instagram, he now has a staggering 1.7MILLION.
His mind boggling surge in followers has partly come off the back of an old video of Cho that has gone viral on social media in recent days.
A clip of him sitting on the bench for his club side has been viewed over 7.4m times on Twitter.

South Korean journalist Seo Jung-hwan said on Cho, via The Athletic: “He had to get some rest.

“His phone was going all night. It was keeping him awake. He was trying to concentrate on football and, all the time, the messages were coming.”
Cho appears to be well on his way to overhauling national hero and Tottenham star Son in terms of popularity.
He plays his club football for South Korean side Jeonbuk Hyundai and was leading scorer in the last K League championship.
Having made the South Korea World Cup squad, Cho netted twice off the bench in the 3-2 defeat to Ghana on Monday.
Reports have linked him with a move to Celtic, Borussia Dortmund and Fenerbahce.
But his new found popularity appears to be down to his good looks, rather than his footballing ability.
However, the bad news for his millions of new admirers is the fact that Cho is believed to have a girlfriend.
Although the player will have put brands on red alert with his rise to stardom, even if he does fail to keep South Korea in the World Cup.
Cho and Co need to beat Portugal and hope Uruguay beat Ghana to qualify for the knockouts, with it then coming down to goal difference between South Korea and Uruguay for second spot.

The former Manchester United boss delivered the grim news just a day before his side’s crunch clash against Christian Pulisic and Co.
Dutch media claim many players are suffering from coughs, sore throats and runny noses.
And despite it being labelled everything from a virus to just a cold, Van Gaal told reporters on Friday: “If this goes around in the group, then it is worrying.”
Frenkie de Jong confessed to feeling under the weather shortly before Holland’s draw with Ecuador last week.

And the ex-Man Utd boss insisted he was not changing his ways for anyone.
Van Gaal declared: “In 2014 it was exactly the same. No different. The media was very negative, so exact same thing now. Same old.

In her most recent Instagram post celebrating 1million followers, she included a photo of the men checking her out and snapping photos with the caption: “1000000 followers, thank you so much for your support. Love you all!”
Her followers were quick to point out the cheeky actions of the men in the photos.
“That’s it, the guy is caught. The wife is waiting at home with a hammer!” one follower commented.
It’s not the first time Ivana has turned heads with her showy outfits – she’s made headlines in years prior for her sexy outfits.

She gained fame in 2018 for her fashion at the event in Russia.
Others were critical of her cheeky outfit in the conservative country of Qatar.
“Qatar is not Europe, you shouldn’t go out in this form,” one user said.
Ivana pointed out the hypocrisy in the organiser’s decisions regarding modesty, mentioning her Catholicism.

“I’m not a Muslim and if we in Europe respect hijab and niqab, I think they need also to respect our way of life, our religion and in the end me wearing dresses and bikinis because I’m Catholic from Croatia who is here because of the World Cup,” she explained.
Her latest outfit, a red checked bikini top and tight red leggings, turned some heads, especially as Qatar has enforced strict rules around clothing for the World Cup.
Visitors to Qatar have been advised to cover their shoulders and avoid short skirts, which Ivana was shocked by.
“First I was thinking if the World Cup is happening there (Qatar), for sure they will allow us everything to make it comfortable for all fans without any of the restrictions,” she said.
Ivana has said she has no fear of being arrested by Qatari authorities, and even dared to wear a skimpy thong swimsuit on a Qatar beach before the competition began.
