Alan Shearer warns England not to just focus on Mbappe as he names TRIO of French stars to fear in World Cup clash

PUNDIT Alan Shearer has stressed that England have more to worry about than just Kylian Mbappe ahead of the World Cup quater-final.The Three Lions face France on Saturday night as both sides look to make the semi-finals for a second successive tournament.
Alan Shearer has said France are not just reliant on Kylian MbappeCredit: Getty
England have demolished Iran, Wales and Senegal so far in Qatar but the French present a much harder task.
Mbappe, 23, is the star man having netted five goals and registered two assists in the tournament in just four games.
But according to former England captain Shearer, the 2018 World Cup winners have more threats than just the Paris Saint-Germain star.
Gareth Southgate’s men need to be wary of Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Olivier Giroud.

Shearer said: “France are a good side, irrespective of whether they’ve got five big hitters out injured.”
Didier Deschamps is without Karim Benzema, Christopher Nkunku, Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante and Presnel Kimpembe due to injuries.
Shearer continued: “Look at England, look at Harry Kane, look at the options England have got, the forwards they’ve got and the goals that are being shared around.

“It’s not just Mbappe by the way because the France games I’ve seen, Griezmann’s played really, really well.
“Obviously there’s Mbappe, but Giroud’s taken over the record [France’s all-time top goalscorer] from Thierry Henry, he might not get as much love as he might deserve.
“What France do is put balls into the box for him [Giroud] either side, Dembele and Mbappe, they move the ball out one yard and whip the ball in.

But the former Victoria ‘s Secret star looked joyous as her revealing outfit turned heads as often as her countrymen turned the Koreans’ defence in Monday’s last-16 tie.
Eintracht Frankfurt hero Trapp had only been the back-up keeper as Germany headed out of Qatar.
But Izabel, 38, was one of the more enthusiastic Wags as she roared on Hansi Flick’s men.
She wore a keeper’s kit with Trapp’s No12 on for a surprise 2-1 loss to Japan.

Then she was all in white for a commendable 1-1 draw with Spain.
And she was draped in a Germany flag for a 4-2 win over Costa Rica that was not quite enough to earn a place in the KO stage.

Yet some might say Izabel upped her game on Monday evening with a yellow outfit as bright as Brazil’s football.
She donned tight shorts and a sleeveless top – adding the flourish of her national flag as a cape.
