As revealed by The Telegraph, Williams performed for the team last night at their Souq Al Wakra headquarters.

Didier Deschamps launched a furious rant at Jules Kounde for wearing a gold chain against Poland, says L’Equipe.
The item was spotted by officials during France’s last-16 win, and Deschamps blasted Kounde in the dressing room over it.
He said after the game: “He (Kounde) has no right. I don’t know what he has on his chain, I know that Jules has a bit of a superstition, he has it in training.

    Carragher’s best World Cup XI
Jamie Carragher has named his best World Cup XI of all time with just one player allowed per country.

Eusebio scored all nine of his World Cup goals as he led his country to the semi-finals in 1966, including four in the stunning comeback win over North Korea – when Portugal won 5-3 from 3-0 down inside 25 minutes.

Spain announce U21s boss Luis de la Fuente as manager of first-team just moments after Luis Enrique exit

And the Spanish FA wasted no time in replacing him, announcing De la Fuente as his successor the very same day.
The board of directors will rubber stamp his appointment in a meeting on Monday.
His first two matches in charge will come against Norway and Scotland in March as Spain bid to qualify for the European Championships in Germany in 2024.
A statement read: “The RFEF [Royal Spanish Football Federation] has chosen Luis de la Fuente as the new absolute national coach.
READ MORE ON THE WORLD CUP
“The sports director, José Francisco Molina, has forwarded a report to the president, Luis Rubiales, in which he recommends the choice of the coach from La Rioja, until now the U-21 coach, to lead the new stage that begins after the World Cup in Qatar.”
De la Fuente enjoyed a playing career at Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla and Alaves.
He began his managerial journey in 1999 and joined the Spanish national team set-up in 2013, becoming the U19s head coach.
Since then he has gone on to take charge of the U21s and U23s, but has now been handed the big job with the senior side – after claiming the European Championships with the U19s and U21s.

Meanwhile, the Spanish FA released another statement on Thursday confirming Enrique’s exit.
Addressing his departure, the statement read: “The sports management of the RFEF (Spanish FA) has transferred to the president a report in which it is determined that a new project should start for the Spanish Soccer Team.
“The aim is continuing with the growth achieved in recent years thanks to the work carried out by Luis Enrique and their collaborators.
“Both the president, Luis Rubiales, and the sports director, Jose Francisco Molina, have transmitted the decision to the coach.
“The Asturian coach managed to give a new impetus to the national team since his arrival, in 2018, through a profound renovation that has consolidated a generational change in the team and in Spanish football.”
Enrique oversaw Spain’s quarter-final exit at the Euros last summer, but has now seen a regression as they failed to make the last-eight at the World Cup. More

Watch David Beckham give Trent Arnold-Arnold advice on how to cross ball as he visits England’s World Cup squad

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD has been given special advice from David Beckham on how to help keep his crossing and free-kicks consistent. Former England captain Becks visited the Three Lions camp ahead of the crunch quarter-final clash against reigning champions France.

And he was on hand to give some special tips to Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold.
The 24-year-old has been widely recognised as one of the best crossers and dead-ball specialists in the Premier League in recent years – much like Beckham in his day.
But that hasn’t stopped him from seeking some extra advice on how to polish his technique.
Sharing a chat the pair had to his Instagram, Beckham told Alexander-Arnold: “When I was at (Manchester) United, (Sir Alex) Ferguson used to (tell me) the moment he saw me off a little bit with either my run up or the smoothness of kicking it he’d pull me back in.

“He’d know exactly what I was doing wrong and so I just kept doing the same thing, over and over again. Never changed it.”
The Liverpool man then asked whether it was the same for both sides and whether the Inter Miami owner had a preferred side when taking.
Beckham answered by saying: “Yep (same both sides).
“(Preferred side) Not really. I mean, I scored one against Jamo (David James) at Anfield where I just whipped it over the wall and it went the other side.

“To be fair I like both sides. Continuous. It’s important (routines and repetition), so important.
“You’re obviously doing it, so yeah. Keep doing whatever you’re doing because you can cross a ball.”
Despite his attacking brilliance, his defensive fragility means Alexander-Arnold has played just once during the World Cup so far.
He came off the bench to play 33 minutes during the second half as England sent Wales home.
While the England camp have enjoyed visits from the likes of Beckham, they have also been treated to a secret gig from former Take That star Robbie Williams.

But just two days after Luis Enrique and his squad landed back in Madrid following their frustrations in the desert, the coach was handed his marching orders by Spanish FA chiefs.
In a statement issued by Madrid bosses, they said: “The sports management of the RFEF (Spanish FA) has transferred to the president a report in which it is determined that a new project should start for the Spanish Soccer Team.

That generational change – with the retirements of the remaining members of the squad that dominated European and world football from 2008 to 2012 – was not enough to save Enrique.
Spain have now gone out of their last three tournaments on penalties, losing to Russia in 2018 and Italy in the Euro 2020 semi-finals with criticism that Enrique’s teams controlled possession but lacked a cutting edge.
His successor has been named as current under-21 coach Luis de la Fuente, who has been in charge of development and youth teams since 2013 and who won both the European under-19 and under-21 titles in that period.

The other major contender is believed to be ex-Athletic Bilbao boss Marcelino Garcia Toral but that is thought to be unlikely as his playing style is a marked departure from Luis Enrique’s brand of possession football.
Enrique first took charge of his country in 2018, after Fernando Hierro had managed La Roja at the World Cup following Julen Lopetegui’s dramatic sacking.
He stepped down for four months the following year, after the tragic death of his nine-year-old daughter Xana.
Upon his return he guided Spain to Euro 2020, where they were unlucky to lose to Italy on penalties in the semi-finals.
During his reign he also took his country to the 2021 Uefa Nations League final, losing 2-1 to France.
Enrique managed 45 games in charge of his country, winning 25, drawing 11 and losing nine.
