    Fans all say same thing at Jude Bellingham’s incredible reaction to Theo Hernandez NOT being sent off for brutal shove

    JUDE BELLINGHAM summed up the thoughts of a nation as France’s Theo Hernandez escaped a red card against England. The left-back shoved Chelsea’s Mason Mount with the reigning champions 2-1 up in Qatar.

    And amazingly referee Wilton Sampaio waved off England’s initial penalty protests.
    After a VAR check, Sampaio then went over to the monitor and awarded a penalty after a second look.
    But the official had no interest in sending Hernandez off – leaving Bellingham stunned.
    The midfielder clearly believed Mount was denied a goalscoring opportunity – and so did many online.

    One said: “That’s a red card, it’s shocking Bellingham has to teach the ref his job.”
    Another said: “Bellingham’s reaction is all of us. That’s a red card.”
    One added: “As Bellingham is asking, how is that that not a red?
    “The rule is ‘no clear intention to play the ball as a last man, is a straight red card’.”

    Hernandez was eventually given a booking while England and Harry Kane had a nervous wait for the spot kick.
    Kane had levelled from the spot earlier in the second half but on his second attempt he blazed over the bar.
    England failed to pull one back again and were dumped out of the World Cup in the quarter-final stages.

    Footage showed fans going mental from their seats as the England skipper fired past Tottenham team-mate Hugo Lloris.
    Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions went behind after Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni put the reigning champions ahead on 17 minutes.
    But England fightback was rewarded when a good phase of play saw Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka brought down, giving Kane the chance to level.

    England fought hard to go ahead but former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud headed France 2-1 ahead leaving hearts in mouths.
    The heartache intensified when England were rewarded a second penalty, after Theo Hernandez brought down Mason Mount.
    But this time Kane blazed over the bar, squandering England’s chances of levelling again.
    Marcus Rashford was inches away from scoring a late free-kick but his effort sailed over the bar.

    The final whistle soon followed, dumping England out of the World Cup in the quarter-final stages.

    WILTON SAMPAIO’s Wikipedia page has been changed by pranksters following his first half performance in England’s game against France.The Brazilian referee was heavily involved as the holders had several decisions go in their favour.

    But their lead came in controversial circumstances.
    That’s because moments before the Real Madrid midfielder beat Jordan Pickford from distance, Bukayo Saka appeared to have been fouled up the other end.
    Despite a lengthy VAR wait, the goal was given.
    But there was more controversy later into the half as England were denied a penalty.

    Dayot Upamecano looked to have committed a clear foul on Harry Kane.
    VAR was once again needed, but the decision went against Gareth Southgate’s side.
    England players were visibly frustrated at half-time, with several players running to Sampaio once he blew up.

    And ahead of England’s crunch World Cup quarter-final with France, Keane revealed that he had recently met-up with the Anfield skipper.
    However, he teased the North East ace for leaving him to pay for the grub.

    Fans felt Mbappe must have tried to offer his goalkeeper some last-minute advice, despite Lloris being Kane’s team-mate at Tottenham.
    It made no difference as Kane stepped up to blast the ball past Lloris and draw England level.
    Supporters were baffled why Mbappe felt the need to dish out advice to the keeper.
    One fan said: “Mbappé wants to give advice to Lloris who has been playing with Kane for 10 years he is MARBLED.”

    Another added: “Nah why did Mbappe go up to Lloris to give him advice as if he doesn’t train with Kane everyday🤣.”
    And a third said: “Mbappe walking over to Lloris like Hugo doesn’t train with Kane day in day out. Move man.”

    Mbappe decided not to speak to Lloris ahead of Kane’s second penalty.
    But he was quick to congratulate the shot-stopper after Kane blazed his spot-kick over the bar before England crashed out 2-1.

    Penalties are needed when the scores are still level after extra time, with the team who scores the most, winning the match.

    Is there extra time and penalties at the World Cup?
    During the group stage of the tournament, extra time and penalties are not used.
    If the score is level when the final whistle is blown, a single point is awarded to both sides.

    However, from the knockout stages onwards, teams are eliminated and therefore extra time and penalties can be required.
    A whopping 66 matches have gone to extra time in the tournament’s history, with 30 of those leading to penalty shootouts.
    During the 1998 and 2002 world cups, the ‘golden goal’ rule was in place, meaning the first team to score in extra time would in the match.
