The Welsh national team finished second in their qualifying group – five points behind table-toppers Belgium – after eliminating the Czech Republic, Estonia and Belarus.
Robert Page’s men won four out of eight matches and only lost once, to the undefeated Belgians.
Gareth Bale led his team to Qatar with some stunning performances in both play-off matches against Austria in the semi-finals and Ukraine in the final.

Who will Wales face?
Wales have been drawn in Group B in the 2022 World Cup, which kicks off on November 21 with Senegal vs Netherlands and ends on December 18 with the final at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
The Dragons will face England, Iran as well as the United States of America in the group stages and will be challenging for the first two places.

But talisman Bale will lead his team-mates against arch rivals England, Iran and USA in Qatar.
Now the big question will be where does the five-time Champions League winner play at club level next season?

This was not one of Bale’s finest performances in a Wales shirt but he still got a standing ovation when he was replaced by Harry Wilson with eight minutes left.
But as he said himself on Saturday at his pre-match press conference, “Even if I play terribly, as long as we win I do not care.”

And it was star man Bale that helped seal the big win as Andriy Yarmolenko inadvertently headed the forward’s free-kick into his own net on 34 minutes.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Co were determined to give their nation some rare joy amid the ongoing war in their homeland.
Ukraine have been trying to fight off Russia’s unjust and illegal invasion since February 24, which has led to around 46,000 deaths, and the visitors wanted to boost morale with World Cup qualification.

Bale, 32, enjoyed one of the greatest nights of his career in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv when he scored a bicycle kick in Real Madrid’s 2018 Champions League final win over Liverpool.
