      Jordan Henderson looks set to START for the Three Lions and there could be even more to come on the personnel front.
      A win for England tonight would see them top Group B, while Wales need to win and hope USA vs Iran ends in a draw for them to qualify.

      Wales’ mouth-watering clash against England will get underway from 7pm UK time TONIGHT – Tuesday, November 29.
      The game will be played at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar.
      And it opened in 2003 and can hold up to 50,000 spectators.

      Following Wayne Hennessey’s red card for a dangerously high tackle on Mehdi Taremi, Wales succumbed to injury-time strikes from Roozbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Razaeian to leave supporters devastated.
      Bottom of the group with one point to their name, Wales must beat England and hope that Iran’s game with the USA ends in a draw to secure a place in the knockout stages.
      A win for Iran of the USA will eliminate them unless they can thump the Three Lions by a four-goal margin.
      It will be a little closer to home
      The Three Lions will qualify as group winners with all three points, while Wales must win and hope that other results go their way to stand a chance of going through.
      Before the Baddiel and Skinner tracks start playing up and down the country, victory would certainly bring some closer to home if not heading its way back completely.

      Against Iran, national team heroes Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey were practically anonymous in the game.
      Page is unlikely to consider dropping the duo however in such an important fixture.
      Both players need to put in performances of a career for Wales to stand any chance of pulling off the unthinkable tonight.
      Bring back the Phil-good factor
      Gareth Southgate was reluctant to bring on Phil Foden for Mason Mount in the number 10 role on Friday, but with Bukayo Saka have an off night against the USA, Foden could push for a start out wide.
      Pundits are baffled by the absence of one of the most naturally gifted footballers in this squad, not being utilised whatsoever.
      Foden brings a creativity that can unlock defences that was much needed against USA.

      As for England, Southgate could be working with a near fully-fit squad for tonight’s game after welcoming James Maddison back to training from a knee injury.
      Ben White could miss out due to illness, and he is facing plenty of selection dilemmas.
      Kyle Walker’s return to fitness could see the Man City man return on the right over Kieran Trippier, in spite of calls for Southgate to introduce Trent Alexander-Arnold.

      Wales number one Wayne Hennessey will serve a one-match suspension for his red card against Iran, opening the door for Danny Ward to start in between the sticks after some recent good form for Leicester.
      Page has no new injury concerns, where Joe Allen was able to come off the bench following his hamstring injury, but the Swansea City man was largely at fault for Cheshmi’s long-range effort with his poor clearance.
      Daniel James and Brennan Johnson should be considered for starts, though Kieffer Moore provides a much-needed physical presence in the final third.

      Hello and welcome to England vs Wales at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar!
      It’s a massive game for both sides tonight as the two home nations battle it out for a spot in the last-16 at football’s most famous tournament.
      England are sitting pretty at the top of Group B, while Wales are rock bottom.
      But BOTH can still qualify.
      The task is simple for the Three Lions, who have four points to their name after two games.
      Win and they top the group, with their last-16 game to come on Sunday, December 4 at 7pm against the runners up of Group A.
      Wales need to win, by any margin, and hope that USA vs Iran finishes in a draw for them to qualify in historic circumstances.
      The only way England can be knocked out of the tournament tonight, is to lose 4-0 to Wales.
      Manager Gareth Southgate could make FOUR changes to the side which drew against USA on Friday night, with Jordan Henderson likely to start.
      Kyle Walker could also make his first appearance in Qatar.
      And all eyes will be on Phil Foden, who England fans pleaded for Southgate to bring on against the Americans last week.

      Man Utd ‘in talks with Cody Gakpo’s agents with PSV Eindhoven to demand £43m for Holland World Cup star transfer’

      MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly in talks with Cody Gakpo’s agents as they look to swoop for the PSV star. The 23-year-old has underlined his status as one of the most exciting players in Europe with his World Cup performances for Holland.

      Gakpo has two goals in two games so far ahead of tonight’s clash against hosts Qatar where he will hope to add to his tally.
      United are believed to have had interest in the striker before the tournament and his showing on the big stage will have done little to dissuade the Premier League club.
      And transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the club are in discussions with the player’s agents over a potential move.
      While he confirms they are yet to contact PSV, the news will increase speculation that the Red Devils are edging closer to the Dutchman.

      But it will not be cheap to land him.

      In an interview with the United Stand, Romano added: “Now I think they [PSV] want €50 million [£43m] guaranteed for Cody Gakpo.”
      Gakpo admits he is flattered by any interest from the Premier League.
      He said: “I’m 100 per cent focused now on the World Cup. It’s always nice to hear but I just focus here and do my best.”

      At club level, they are tearing it up as team-mates for Athletic Bilbao as the Basque side sit fourth in LaLiga ahead of Atletico Madrid in the race to qualify for the Champions League.
      However, after representing Spain at youth level, they made their independent decisions regarding senior international football.
      Nico, 20, opted for Spain and his sudden breakthrough over the last 12 months saw him earn a call-up for La Roja’s World Cup campaign.
      But older brother Inaki, 28, decided in July to make himself available for selection by Ghana having made one friendly appearance for Spain in 2016.

      The pair were eligible to play for the West African nation through their parents.
      Mother Maria and father Felix fled Ghana while pregnant with Inaki – who was born in June 1994 – as war ripped through the nation.
      The couple left home and made a staggering 4,000km journey from Ghana to Melilla, the Spanish enclave in northern Africa on the Mediterranean coast.
      Temperatures soared as high as 50C as they made the trip which included large sections walking with no shoes and others in crowded truck trailers.

      Felix even has damaged soles to this day as a result of the treacherous conditions before they were arrested.
      Inaki – who played in a record 236 consecutive LaLiga games and almost scored the dramatic equaliser against Portugal – said: “Hearing my parents’ story makes you want to fight even harder to give back everything they sacrificed for us.
      “I couldn’t ever repay them – they risked their lives – but the life I try to give them is the one they dreamed of giving us. And, in some way, we can say, ‘We’ve done it.’
      “You’d watch the news and see boats arriving from Africa, people climbing the fence [into Melilla] and I realised I didn’t really know how we got to Spain.
      “It’s something I always asked but my mum avoided it because I was just a kid.
      “And maybe she then thought if she’d told me when I started at Athletic at 18 it would have been a weight on my back.
      “I knew my life was different to my friends’ and I could imagine, but when you hear the details …
      “Details like: I didn’t know they had crossed the desert by foot.

      “I knew my dad had problems with the soles of his feet but not that it was because he had walked barefoot across the Sahara sand at 40, 50 degrees.
      “They did part in a truck, one of those with the open back, 40 people packed in, then walked days.”
      Inaki added to The Guardian: “People fell, left along the way, people they buried. It’s dangerous: there are thieves waiting, rapes, suffering. Some are tricked into it.
      “Traffickers get paid and then halfway say: ‘The journey ends here.’ Chuck you out, leave you with nothing: no water, no food.
      “Kids, old people, women. People go not knowing what’s ahead, if they’ll make it.
      “My mum said: ‘If I knew, I would have stayed.’
      “They reached Melilla, climbed the fence and the civil guard detained them. They didn’t have papers and came as migrants, so you get sent back.
      “When they were in jail a lawyer from [the Catholic aid organisation] Caritas who spoke English said, ‘The only thing you can try is tell them you’re from a country at war.’

      “They tore up their Ghanaian papers and said they were from Liberia to apply for political asylum. Thanks to him, we arrived in Bilbao.”
      That priest who helped the Williamses gain asylum and settle in Bilbao and then Pamplona was called Inaki Mardones – hence the Athletic star’s name.
      Inaki scored the winning goal in the Spanish Supercopa final against Barcelona in 2021 – then Nico followed suit by scoring the winner in the semi-final this year, prompting mum Maria to celebrate by jumping into a swimming pool fully clothed.
      The pair have now played 51 times together for Bilbao – who only allow players born and raised in the Basque region of Spain – and are starting XI regulars now, linking up directly together for two goals.
      Both of those came in a 4-0 win over Almeria in September, with Nico assisting Inaki for the opener and then Inaki returning the favour for his brother later on.
      Now in Qatar, though, they are on opposite sides – and could face off in the quarter-finals.

      And Nico had no doubts they would relish the opportunity.
      He told AFP: “Above all I’d like to face Ghana.
      “It’s that sibling rivalry, we always had a bit of a needle in the parks when we were little, and I hope we can do it as professionals.
      “The truth is that we could never have imagined that we would reach this level, two brothers playing for the same club, each one in a national team and at a World Cup.”

      Man Utd star Antony blames air-conditioning for fitness issues at World Cup 2022 after missing Brazil training

      MANCHESTER UNITED star Antony has revealed that the air-con inside Qatar’s World Cup stadiums made him feel unwell.The Brazilian winger has come off the bench in his country’s victories over Serbia and Switzerland to help them reach the knockouts with a game to spare.

      And during an interview with streamer Casimiro, he blamed the Middle East nation’s air-conditioning for making him sick.
      Antony, 22, said: “It was a bit difficult. I ended up having a bad feeling there for a few days that complicated me a bit.

      “I’m recovering well and getting 100 per cent. It was more of a sickness, throat. It was the air conditioning.

      “Not only me, but other players also had a cough and a bad throat.
      “It’s very difficult for me to get sick, but I’m happy to be an important part of the team.

      TENSIONS are high ahead of the World Cup’s first home nations clash between England and Wales. The historic match, dubbed the ‘Battle of Britain’, could eliminate the Dragons from the tournament after they qualified for the first time in 64 years.

      The Three Lions are under the cosh too after a dull 0-0 draw against the USA, but have been finding plenty of ways to unwind ahead of tonight’s showdown.
      Yesterday, team members including John Stones, Eric Dier and Jude Bellingham were snapped soaking up the sun at the beach, while others lapped up luxury in the palm-tree-laden Souq Al-Wakra Hotel.
      But it’s not the only way England’s World Cup squad have let their hair down – here we reveal what they’ve been up to… when they’re not trying to bring it home.
      Posh grub and massages
      The Three Lions are staying in an opulent five-star resort, just 10 miles south of Doha and it’s been kitted out to tailor to their needs.

      Jack Grealish shared behind-the-scenes snaps showing off a lush swimming pool at night with illuminated palm trees, comfy recliners and a couple of floating seats in the water.
      Another showed forward Bukayo Saka tucking into a delicious-looking meal with tomato ketchup and a side.
      The Arsenal midfielder has also been snapped preparing and drinking a blended fruit smoothie, which the England team have used to keep cool in Qatar.
      After lengthy training sessions in the plus 40-degree heat, the players also had massages – one snap showed Grealish and Jude Bellingham receiving one.

      And of course, any England campaign wouldn’t be complete without the now-famous inflatable unicorn, which has accompanied them since the 2018 Russia World Cup.
      Harry Maguire shared a snap of the rainbow-haired blow-up, which he captioned: “Nice to meet you again.”
      The unicorn was sat on a small diving board alongside an inflatable crocodile by an impressive-looking indoor pool with a water polo net.
      Darts, video games and basketball 
      Between training sessions, the England team have found fun ways to compete without kicking a ball.
      John Stones was captured in action as he tried to throw a ball over another player during a game of water polo. 
      The team also have a pool table and game consoles which were hauled in especially to their hotel. 
      Former England star turned pundit Ian Wright revealed they had also been playing darts.
      The ITV star, who joined them for a game, said it kept them “upbeat” and in good spirits.
      In one darts challenge, Declan Rice, Luke Shaw and Mason Mount all scored 66, which was some dubbed a “good omen” conjuring up memories of the 1966 World Cup win.

      Another sporting pastime has been basketball, with Kalvin Phillips claiming he was “the best in camp” and “Jack [Grealish] is definitely the worst”.
      To kill time, Phillips also revealed the team had been playing a “wolf card game” – believed to be called Werewolf, a murder strategy game.
      In his World Cup diary, he wrote: “At first, it was a small group and now there’s probably a group of 12 or 13 of them involved.
      “It’s definitely one you can watch, as it’s quite funny and even if I’m not around there, when they get somebody out, you can hear them cheering by the pool.”
      Beach dips and stray cats
      Yesterday, a handful of the England team were seen walking down to the beach ahead of their clash with Wales.
      The gang included Maguire, John Stones, Jude Bellingham, Eric Dier, Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale, Conor Coady, Calum Wilson and Kalvin Phillips.
      Later, Stones, Dier and Bellingham took off their tops while strolling on the beach and edged close to the water. 
      Before England’s first game, it was revealed they had befriended a local cat, who Stones named ‘Dave’, and another that was missing an eye, nicknamed ‘Paul’.

      TV shows and yoga
      Recently, Harry Kane and Dier recently revealed the essential items they bring ahead of a major tournament.
      Among the skipper’s choices were a leather diary, fluffy slippers to soothe his achy feet and facial cleanser.
      Describing the product, which he branded his “nighttime beauty essential”, Kane said: “You’ve got to keep yourself looking young nowadays! Well, that’s what the wife says.”
      Opening up on his TV downloads, he said: “I just finished House Of The Dragon, I’m still watching Formula 1: Drive To Survive.

      When Dier was asked what show he was into, he sheepishly confessed: “The Crown… the new season just came out, so I’m into The Crown. I love it.”
      Away from their viewing habits, the players have been practising yoga poses to unwind.
      Personal hotel touches
      During the World Cup, the players have rarely seen their families – some of whom are 6,700 miles away back in the UK.
      However, to help the Three Lions deal with being away from their nearest and dearest, the hotels have added a few personal items. 
      James Maddison told talkSPORT: “The set-up we got to the hotel it’s been absolutely brilliant. It is all down to the finer things, like the little touches.

      Police in Denmark announced that Hamida was hit from behind by a digger as she was driving home from the gym to watch her daughter.
      Southeast Jutland Police claimed the accident happened near her home in the town of Uldum, west of the Danish capital Copenhagen.
      Incredibly, just seven days after her loss, Nadia returned to ITV ahead of Netherlands’ game against Qatar.
      And host Laura Woods gave her the chance to speak about it.

      She said: “My mum unfortunately passed away last Tuesday, very unexpectedly in an accident.
      “She was a very strong women, who not only inspired me, but a lot of people around her.
      “I’m obviously sad, but she raised us to be strong and we’re showing how to be strong.

      She told Newsflash in an interview: “I currently work exclusively producing 18+ content. In addition to OnlyFans, I work with other platforms in the same industry.
      “Before the pandemic, at the suggestion of some friends who were already working in and were managing to earn a lot from content production, I decided to start selling too.
      “The pandemic and social isolation ended up suiting this online work. I was working in the HR department of a company and I was fired due to court issues.
      “So I decided to focus 100 per cent on content sales and it worked.”

      On her latest, eyebrow-raising pledge, Daiane added: “I have a group on Telegram where I keep in close contact with my followers.

      “I talk a lot, I reply to everyone, and I realised that people weren’t that excited about the games.
      “So I thought of creating a way to encourage everyone to better support the national team.

      “As soon as I pitched the idea, many thought it was a lie and that I wasn’t going to send them.”
      Daiane continued: “Even so, the majority started backing and sharing messages of support for Brazil.
      “They asked for photos even for balls that hit the crossbar during the game. As the goals took a while and only happened in the second half, people got anxious.
      “But as soon as Richarlison scored the first, the group was thrilled! And, of course, I sent the first photo completely uncensored.
      “Of course, with the second goal, people were even happier.
      “And since it worked out, in the next games I will keep and expand my pledge. Who knows? Maybe even with videos. Anything for the Brazil’s sixth title!”
      Commenting on Brazil’s performance in the World Cup so far, Daiane said: “Our team shone on the field.
      “There was the nervousness of the opening game that’s always common, especially for those with five stars on their shirt.
      “But the team soon found themselves and secured their first victory.”
      Daiane also spoke of her love for the beautiful game and named Spurs and ex-Watford and Everton striker Richarlison a second time.
      She said: “I think it’s impossible not to be a football fanatic in Brazil. It’s very connected to our culture. I love it!
      “And even before the call-up, my fans were already very fond of Richarlison, who scored the goals in the opening game.
      “He has cool opinions off the field and he has the Brazilian joy of playing football.”
      She is not the only Brazilian fan to talk up the attacker as Mayara Lopes believes Richarlison will be a superstar.
      Daiane wants to reward Brazil’s squad the same way she rewards her followers.
      She said: “I want to send the same incentive I send to my followers to the national team players and the entire coaching staff.
