DREW SPENCE is looking to bring a title-winning attitude to Tottenham after leaving Chelsea as a free agent.  The former Kingsmeadow ace joins Spurs – who finished fifth in the WSL last term – on a two-year deal.

And the contract includes an option for the Jamaica international to extend her Tottenham career for another year.
The move sees Spence become the first summer signing for Rehanne Skinner’s team, who have aspirations to finish in the league’s top three.
And her transfer comes after a 14-year spell as Chelsea’s longest-serving player, a club with whom she won ten trophies – including five league titles.
Spence said: “It’s a new chapter for me. I’ve seen how much the team has progressed over the past few seasons, challenging teams at the top.

Kerr’s award win sees the Women’s Player gong go to a Chelsea star for the second season in a row.
The Matildas skipper’s success follows Fran Kirby’s win last year.
It comes off the back of a series of stunning performances in Chelsea’s frontline which saw the striker claim the WSL’s Golden Boot.
The Blues star, 28, played a key role in a domestic trophy double win for Emma Hayes’ side last season.

And the forward bagged four goals in back-to-back FA Cup triumphs in 2021 and this year including an extra-time winner against Man City in May.  
Of her win, Kerr said: It’s a massive honour I think, whenever you’re voted by your peers.
“That’s the highest honour as a player so, it’s an amazing feeling.”

CHELSEA have boosted their defensive ranks with the signing of France right-back Eve Perisset on a three-year deal. The defender, 27, joins from Bordeaux becoming the club’s first new addition following Todd Boehly’s £4.25 billion Blues takeover.

Perisset helped the French giants win a league title and four France Women’s Cups
She later sealed a Paris Saint-Germain move in 2016 before joining Bordeaux in 2020.
And the Rhone-born defender, who is first the French player to join the WSL champions, is relishing the chance to play in front of Blues fans next season.
Perisset said: “It’s a fantastic honour to join Chelsea and to be the first French female player to become a Blue.

‘The time was right for me to make this big move to London and join the English Super League.
“I cannot wait to meet the team and the fans later this summer at Kingsmeadow and at the famous Stamford Bridge.”
Perisset, who has 34 France caps, made her senior debut for her national side in a 1-1 draw against Brazil in 2016.
The defender made 45 appearances for Bordeaux and 125 in her country’s top-flight before her Chelsea move.

Perisset will be part of the France squad taking part in the Women’s Euros with West Ham’s Hawa Cissoko and Everton’s Kenza Dali also in the squad.
The player helped her national side to win the She Believes Cup in 2017 following defeats of England and the USA and a goalless draw with Germany.
Emma Hayes believes the defender’s style of play will be a welcome addition for her side next season.
