Chelsea outcast Emerson Palmieri ‘wanted by West Ham and Inter Milan’ with full-back eyeing transfer exit

WEST HAM have joined Inter Milan in the race for Emerson Palmieri, according to reports.
The Italy international has played 55 times for Chelsea since a 2018 move from Roma – but was nowhere to be seen in Monday’s season opening win at Brighton.

Ben Chilwell’s arrival at Stamford Bridge has dropped Emerson back to being the third-choice left-back in Frank Lampard’s pecking order.
And The Independent report on West Ham and Inter carefully monitoring his situation.
Antonio Conte’s Inter have been linked with Emerson over a number of transfer windows.
Last month, reports in Italy suggested the player had already accepted personal terms to move back to Serie A.

However Inter focused their efforts on completing a deal for fellow full-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
The deal for the 34-year-old is not thought to have halted their interest in Emerson, 26.
Instead, they are reportedly keen to open talks over a loan switch with a permanent transfer costing in the region of £23million.
West Ham’s interest comes amid Chelsea’s own desires on Hammers star Declan Rice.

A possible players-plus-cash deal involving the pair has been touted but David Moyes is determined to hold on to the homegrown midfielder.
Bolstering the defence is understood to be key for the West Ham boss in the final month of the window, amid reports of rejected bids for Burnley’s James Tarkowski.
The club will be desperate to secure some incomings after the much-criticised sale of Grady Diangana to West Brom for an initial £13million.

Arsenal outcast Sead Kolasinac wanted in West Ham transfer with David Moyes keen to land new left-back

ARSENAL outcast Sead Kolasinac has become a transfer target for West Ham as David Moyes attempts to land a new left-back.
The Bosnian has fallen out of favour at the Emirates and could be moving across London if the Hammers boss gets his way, according to the Athletic.

    1

Sead Kolasinac is being linked away from North London after three years at Arsenal

Kolasinac has fallen down the pecking order after the signing of Kieran Tierney and chances of first team football appear limited with the Gunners out of Europe.
The left-back signed for Arsenal on a free in 2017 but has failed to stake a regular claim in the first XI.
David Moyes is believed to be keen on new signings after a quiet transfer window for the club.
They have so far only signed Tomas Soucek on a permanent deal after his loan move last season impressed club bosses enough to commit £19.1million to retain his signature.

But Hammers fans are crying out for reinforcements – a plea that will have only grown louder after an underwhelming performance against Newcastle on the opening day of the season.
David Moyes is also believed to have been monitoring Chelsea’s out of favour left-back Emerson Palmieri.

The Italian international’s hopes of first-team football are slim after the Blues swooped for Ben Chilwell.
He is also believed to be behind Marcos Alonso so a move away from Stamford Bridge may be considered.

The move may also benefit Chelsea, who are reportedly still keen on midfielder Declan Rice and could use Palmieri as a bargaining chip. More

David Moyes admits he has ‘heard nothing’ over Jack Wilshere’s contract as ex-Arsenal star nears West Ham exit

DAVID MOYES has no idea if West Ham are planning to cancel Jack Wilshere’s contract.
Wilshere’s deal at the London Stadium expires at the end of the 2020-21 season and the Daily Mail claims the Hammers hierarchy have explored the idea of terminating it a year early.

    1

David Moyes has heard nothing about plans to cancel Jack Wilshere’s West Ham contract

However, Moyes insists he has heard nothing of the sort from West Ham’s owners and is expecting to have Wilshere on board for the start of the new season.
Moyes said: “I have heard nothing about it.
“Jack has a year to go, he’s here, I have really enjoyed working with him.
“He has trained through all of his injuries since lockdown, he hasn’t missed a day. He is available for selection.”

Wilshere played just 35 minutes under Moyes last season due to groin trouble and has made just 18 appearances for boyhood club West Ham since a free transfer from Arsenal in the summer of 2018.
In an apparent response to the rumours surrounding his future, Wilshere took to Instagram to say: “Work hard in silence and be ready for what happens next.”

Last week, Wilshere made known his disapproval of West Ham academy graduate Grady Diangana being sold to West Brom for £18million.

Commenting on an Instagram post from Diangana, Wilshere said: “Go and do your thing in a club that respects you.”
Mark Noble was also critical of the club letting go of a talented youngster, saying he was “sad, angry and disappointed” to see Diangana go but Moyes was quick to defend his captain’s reaction.
Moyes said: “It showed a real togetherness with the players and what Grady meant to the players and the club.
“Mark has been in that situation for about 20 years and he just showed how he felt.

“I was disappointed to see Grady go, but I understand.
“I think that was down to spending on Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek in January.
“We might have spent a lot of our summer budget in the January window to keep us up.”

Chelsea and Arsenal transfer boost as West Ham refuse to meet £20m valuation for Brentford’s Said Benrahma

CHELSEA and Arsenal received a transfer boost after West Ham reportedly refused to meet Brentford’s £20million valuation of Said Benrahma.
David Moyes have been chasing the Bees attacker all summer as they look to bolster their options going forward.

But according to The Telegraph, the Hammers are unwilling to match Brentford’s asking price.
That is despite the Championship side dropping their demand from £30m to £20m and the East Londoners selling Grady Diangana for £18m.
West Ham fans – and captain Mark Noble – were fuming on Friday night when the club confirmed the exciting young prospect had gone.

The report adds that West Ham are hoping to raise funds from selling the likes of Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini.

To make matters worse, they are still paying off part of the club-record £45m spent on Sebastien Haller.
And West Ham’s reluctance to stump up the cash for Benrahma could spell good news for two other London clubs.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal are tracking the Algerian winger, whose stock rose considerably last season.
He scored 17 and assisted ten in 46 appearances as Brentford narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta and Frank Lampard will know he is comfortable on both wings and could provide a fine alternative out wide in the upcoming season.
Leicester and Newcastle have also been linked with Benrahma, as have promoted Leeds, while Aston Villa have cooled their interest to pursue his team-mate Ollie Watkins.

Said Benrahma proves he has the right moves in Brentford training More

Fulham and West Brom in four-way transfer battle for West Ham starlet Grady Diangana with England U21 wanting game time

FULHAM have joined the race for Grady Diangana.
The West Ham starlet, 22, spent last season on loan at West Brom.

The Baggies want to sign him permanently.
But they face competition from their fellow Premier League newbies the Cottagers, who went up via the play-offs.
Ajax and Celtic have also been monitoring the midfielder.
He caught the eye after playing a significant role in the Baggies clinching promotion.

Diangana is reluctant to return to the Hammers unless he is guaranteed first-team football.
The England Under-21 ace is keen for regular playing time at this stage of his career.
And he would see a season spent on the fringes as a year wasted.

Diangana was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but moved with his family to London when he was four, growing up in Woolwich.

He joined West Ham aged 12 and made his senior debut in September 2018, scoring twice in an 8-0 win over Macclesfield Town.
The ace has played 17 top-flight games for the Hammers since before he featured 30 times in the Championship last term. More
