The club has supposedly already made an offer to the former Real Madrid manager.
Moyes has come under fire amid an intense relegation scrap and West Ham are reportedly on the lookout for his successor ahead of next season.
And some fans mostly joked that Mourinho could be set to end their suffering.
However, that might not be the the case as the 60-year-old could have simply been showing off the bracelet and the watch.

West Ham flop Gianluca Scamacca lined up for shock move to European giants just months after £30.5m transfer

STRUGGLING West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca could reportedly be offered an escape route out of London by a European giant. The Hammers forked out £30.5m to Sassuolo for the 24-year-old last summer.

However, the Italian international has struggled in the Premier League and has scored just seven times in 26 outings.
Despite his struggles, La Gazzetta Dello Sport claim that Inter Milan are targeting a move for Scamacca.
The Serie A side are looking to replace veteran frontman Edin Dzeko, 36, at the end of the season.
The publication claims that talks between the former Manchester City ace and Inter over an extension have stalled.

He wants a two-year deal once his current one expires in June but Inter are only willing to offer him one-year.
And if no agreement can be reached then they already allegedly have a target identified in West Ham’s Scamacca.
Only three of his goals have come in the top-flight for David Moyes’ struggling side and that has led to him losing his place.
He made his first appearance since January when coming off the bench in last night’s 2-0 Conference League last-16 first-leg win over AEK Larnaca.

Michail Antonio, who scored both goals, is currently ahead of him in the pecking order.

How West Ham could line up under Jose Mourinho with Paulo Dybala among four stunning transfers

How West Ham could line up with Mourinho as manager
Mourinho is believed to be happy at his current side Roma but, according to reports, could soon receive an offer from the Hammers.
Mourinho has another season remaining on his contract at the Stadio Olimpico and it would be a shock if he left.
But should he be convinced for another spell in England he could attract some of his Roma stars to follow suit.
One player that the 60-year-old has been full of praise for since his time in Italy is Chris Smalling.

He believed that the defender should have gone to the World Cup saying that he “would do anything to have someone like him at my disposal”.
The 33-year-old would not break the bank and could be a decent option to replace the injury-prone Kurt Zouma and aging Angelo Ogbonna.
The next option would be a short-term fix to replace Declan Rice, should he be sold in the summer.
As Mourinho loves to have some big men in his team, a reunion with Nemanja Matic would not be that big of a shock.

The prospect of the Serbian lining-up with Tomas Soucek would be right up Mourinho’s street.
But if Rice is sold then there would be plenty of money to strengthen West Ham’s squad.
The club has struggled for goals this season, scoring only 23 in 25 Premier League games as Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca have failed to be regular goalscorers.
Antonio has even been linked with an interest in the MLS so the club could need another striker to compete with Scamacca and Danny Ings.
Mourinho could look to bring Tammy Abraham back to London to bolster the frontline.
The former Chelsea striker excelled in his first season in Rome, but has slowed in his second campaign.
If West Ham were to offer enough they could tempt Roma into a sale and give Abraham another crack at the Premier League.
The final signing would be an exciting one for Hammers fans.
Paulo Dybala is believed to have a £10.7million release clause in his contract.

The London club would easily be able to afford that and the Argentine could add some extra quality in the frontline alongside Abraham and Jarrod Bowen.
Since joining Roma last summer he has scored 12 goals and assisted six more in 25 appearances in all competitions, so if he could do that at the London Stadium he would quickly become a fan favourite.

There was a cacophony of boos and chants aimed at the 59-year-old at the Amex in what was the Hammers heaviest defeat in four years.
But SunSport understands chairman David Sullivan and the board are sticking by their manager despite them now plummeting further into a relegation fight.
West Ham are now winless in 11 away matches in the Premier League and just two points above all three teams in the drop zone.
And Moyes faces a crucial few weeks which could go some way to deciding his imminent future, with a trip to Cyprus’ Aek Larnaca coming up in the Europa Conference League last 16.

They then host Aston Villa in the league before a huge clash with fellow relegation scrappers Southampton before the international break.
Things appeared to have taken a timely upward trend after a 4-0 win at Nottingham Forest.
But a week on, holding four to no reply themselves has seen the mood dip once again.
The Hammers have picked up just six wins in the league all season.

However, a lot has changed since the Czech’s arrival in East London.
Despite a summer transfer splurge to the tune of £160m, the Hammers are fighting relegation.
And late co-owner, Gold, sadly passed away in January.
Gold owned a 25 per cent share in the East London club alongside business partner David Sullivan – who remains on the board at the London Stadium.

The pair bought into the club in 2010.
According to Football Insider, billionaire Kretinsky wants to buy Gold’s 25 per cent, which would make him the majority shareholder at West Ham.
A £150m+ deal for Gold’s 25 per cent would take Kretinsky’s stake to 52 per cent, surpassing Sullivan’s 38.8 per cent.
Kretinsky – who owns shares in Royal Mail – has previously stated that the strong Hammers fanbase was one of the driving factors in him investing.

He said in 2021: “The fan base is one of the reasons why I wanted to become part of the club.
“West Ham supporters are among the most passionate and knowledgeable about their club and their football anywhere.
“I understand that the move to London Stadium was initially difficult for some, but the atmosphere is incredible.
“Gradual evolution is, in my opinion, the most healthy way to build a strong club on a firm basis and with the right attitudes and culture.”
Whether West Ham’s uncertainty in the Premier League would play a role in Kretinsky hoovering up the shares is yet to be seen.
The Hammers are sat two points above bottom after 25 games played.
They were humiliated by Brighton on Saturday, running out 4-0 losers.
Moyes’ men turned in a lacklustre, low-energy performance, leading to chants of: “You’re getting sacked in the morning.”
However, according to various reports, despite West Ham’s shocking form, Moyes has the backing of the ownership. More

I’m a former England star who opened a pie ‘n’ mash shop that has fantastic Tripadvisor reviews

PAUL KONCHESKY was capped by England and played nearly 350 Premier League games for Liverpool, West Ham, Charlton, Fulham and Tottenham.Yet on a grey Tuesday in Brentwood, the now-West Ham women’s manager sat in one of Essex’s finest pie ‘n’ mash shops and told SunSport of his love for the East End delicacy.

The Dagenham boy has actually owned ‘Konch’s Kafe’ for seven years and his mum Carol runs it with aplomb.
With its rave reviews and four-and-a-half Tripadvisor stars, SunSport had to go down and check it out.
We arrived to find the walls adorned with memorabilia and memories from Konchesky’s decorated career.
A signed Pablo Fornals shirt takes pride of place alongside a ‘Konchesky 3’ jersey from West Ham’s famous run to the 2006 FA Cup final – a defeat to Liverpool in which the former skinhead put his beloved Hammers 3-2 up before missing a penalty in the shootout.

And the opposite wall features shots of the friendly EastEnder posing alongside his childhood heroes Julian Dicks and Paolo Di Canio.
When we arrived, Carol and her friendly staff were beavering away in the open plan kitchen preparing mountains of pies for the roomful of Sun-reading regulars.
And after helping his mum dish out SunSport’s steaming portions of single beef and onion pie, single mash and liquor (cameraman Kieran Benn had gravy instead – much to the whole Kafe’s disgust), this is what the twice-capped England left-back had to say…
“When I first took over the Kafe I used to always pop in but now I am a manager it’s harder.

“But I come in when I can to see my mum and the customers.
“I don’t really like to too much though as mum gets me working which I do NOT like.
“I was in here last week and it was busy so she wanted me to start serving stuff to the tables which isn’t my game.
“But pie ‘n’ mash used to be my diet!

“I went to Eastbrook School in Dagenham and there was a pie ‘n’ mash shop round the corner called The Brook.
“I used to have it every other day at school. I was about 15 and I was playing then but luckily I used to burn it off.
“My normal order is double pie, double mash and liquor. But I have to have loads of salt and pepper and chilli vinegar.
    “I love it.

“My mum used to work in catering so towards the back end of my career it became something I wanted to get into.
“I took it over so mum could run her own business and not have to work for somebody else. It keeps it in the family and it’s what she’s good at.”
    SunSport ratings:
SERVICE: 5 STARS (Out of 5). Our server delivered our lunch with astonishing accuracy and also happened to have two England caps and nearly 350 Premier League appearances. The manager Carol was chatty and welcoming and remained down to earth despite revealing she once had dinner with David Beckham!
FOOD: 5 STARS. The pies were cooked to perfection, crusty on the outside, well filled and piping hot on the inside. The mashed potatoes were light and the liquor the perfect temperature and consistency. SunSport camera man Kieran Benn (born in Bristol, not London!) had gravy instead of liquor which he insisted was much nicer.
VALUE: 5 STARS. A top drawer hearty lunch and a drink for less than a tenner. Plus the staff have some amazing stories about playing on football’s biggest stage.

Winning the Europa Conference league, however, could make them an attractive club, as they would gain qualification for the Europa League.
And according to Football Insider, West Ham and Moyes are keen on three Man Utd stars to bolster their ranks.
Red Devils Carabao Cup-winning captain Maguire, midfielder Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial are all transfer targets for the Hammers.

Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are preferred in the heart of the defence to Maguire.
Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Marcel Sabitzer, Bruno Fernandes and Fred are all competitive in the midfield, which come the summer could leave little room for McTominay.
And once highly rated Martial has struggled with injuries again this term despite a promising pre-season.
Marcus Rashford has rediscovered his form and Wout Weghorst is Ten Hag’s go-to up front, with Antony and Jadon Sancho fighting for a spot on the right-hand side.
