      UFC star Francis Ngannou calls out Tyson Fury AGAIN and believes he can ‘make some damage’ switching to boxing

      UFC superstar Francis Ngannou has challenged Tyson Fury to a fight again as he considers switching to boxing.Ngannou suggested that it is only a matter of time until he swaps the Octagon for the squared circle and has big plans as he wants to “make some damage” against a top heavyweight.

      The reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion has called out the undefeated Fury once more and would also love to lock horns with Deontay Wilder.
      Ngannou told TMZ: “It’s always been down the line. This is something I’m not taking my eyes off of.
      “It’s gonna happen, either way. Even if, when the UFC and I finalise a deal, the boxing part has to be into it because I can’t see myself retire without boxing.
      “Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder. I would like to test myself to that level. It’s not the same sport, although I’m the champion, I’m in the top in this division.
      “At the end of the day, it’s just about like trained hands, trained punches, having a good delivery system to produce bombs and I’m sure that if I deliver my own punch, it’s pretty good, I can make some damage.”
      Ngannou has been vocal about his desire to face British superstar Fury in the near future.

      And the 35-year-old Cameroonian’s coach Dewey Cooper believes he can end the Gypsy King’s undefeated streak.
      Cooper previously said: “Tyson Fury right now is the best boxer in the world.
      “Tyson is difficult for any heavyweight because of the attributes, the speed, the boxing ability, the good defence, the confidence and swagger. Tyson’s a real one and Tyson is a tough fight for anybody in boxing.

      “Because an MMA glove is only 4oz while a boxing glove is 10oz so that makes a difference. A lot of little intangible things.
      “Of course he can box and of course he could eventually beat someone like a Tyson Fury, for sure.”

      EDDIE HEARN has revealed his big fight wishlist for 2022 – with dream bouts featuring Jake Paul against Conor McGregor and Deontay Wilder versus Derek Chisora on it. The promoter had a hand in making some of the biggest events in 2021, involving stars such as Anthony Joshua, 32, and Canelo Alvarez, 31.

      And no doubt he will want to pick up where he left off when boxing resumes next year.
      But Hearn is also a fan of the sport at heart, so like the rest of us hopes to see boxers outside of his stable in big fights.
      Two mega-stars outside of his Matchroom Boxing banner are YouTuber Paul, 24, and ex-UFC champion McGregor, 33.
      And he believes for Paul – whose professional debut was promoted by Hearn – a match-up with Irishman McGregor is the one he wants to see.
      He said on DAZN: “For Jake Paul personally, the fight to make is Conor McGregor.
      “This is a mega-fight and a really good fight as well, got to get the catchweight right in the middle, although Conor McGregor looks huge at the moment.

      Paul issued the following caption on Instagram: “I got what I wanted for Christmas.”
      Paul’s merry Christmas came after he extended his undefeated streak to five fights since swapping YouTube for boxing – although he’s yet to face a professional boxer.
      The Problem Child defeated Woodley, who only had two weeks to prepare after replacing the injured Tommy Fury, with a sixth-round knockout earlier this month.
      The YouTuber-turned professional boxer was quizzed about his relationship right after his knockout against Woodley.
      And asked when he will pop the question to model partner Julia, Paul responded: “ASAP.”

      His girlfriend has been supporting him for much of his unbeaten 5-0 boxing career.
      But the fact he has never locked horns with a pro has left many pundits unimpressed.
      Among them is Stephen A. Smith, who branded Paul a “joke” and claimed he is conning the public.
      Smith insists he now needs to actually step in with a bonafide boxer to prove his worth in the ring.

      But Hearn is also a fan of the sport at heart, so like the rest of us hopes to see boxers outside of his stable in big fights.

      According to DAZN’s Steven Muehlhausen, however, less than 65,000 people watched the YouTuber’s second fight with the MMA hero on pay-per-view.
      That is less than professional wrestling promotion AEW’s Full Gear show from last month.
      Muehlhausen tweeted: “Sources: Have learned that Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2 “bombed” on cable/satelitte [sic] PPV.
      “Numbers are below November’s #AEW Full Gear which did under 65,000 buys on terrestrial TV. Streaming numbers are unknown.”
      Paul boasted about his PPV numbers after his first victory over Woodley in August.
      The YouTuber claimed it made 1.5million buys, but it actually didn’t make it past 500,000.

      TOMMY FURY has been called out by Nate Diaz’s team-mate Chris Avila. Avila recently beat Anthony Taylor, a former sparring partner of Jake Paul’s who also lost to Fury in August.

      And now the former Bellator lightweight – who is 1-1 as a boxer – wants to fight the 2019 Love Island star.
      Avila, 28, told TMZ Sports: “Tommy Fury got beat up by the guy I beat tonight, which is funny.
      “He obviously won, but he did get beat up in that fight. It’s light-work, it’s just another fight.
      “Tommy Fury, don’t be scared, he’s a bitch, so is AJ McKee.”
      Fury, 22, was meant to fight Paul, 24, in Florida but pulled out with a broken rib and bacterial chest infection.
      Tyron Woodley, 39 then signed as a late replacement but was knocked out in the rematch, just three months after losing on points.

      Fury recently claimed he is in talks to reschedule his fight with Paul, who is still yet to face an opponent with prior professional boxing experience.
      He said on Instagram: “I do believe the fight is even bigger now. It’s unfinished business.
      “My team have reached out to his team to try and sort a date out for early next year.
      “My recovery process is underway I’ll be ready to go in March, so let’s get this fight back on track and let’s get it sorted.”

      DANA WHITE has ruled out letting Jorge Masvidal or Nate Diaz face Jake Paul, as he told the ‘goofball’ YouTuber to ‘go fight a boxer’. 5-0 Paul called out the UFC welterweight pair after knocking out one of White’s former champions, Tyron Woodley, in the boxing ring earlier this month.

      But their contracts with the UFC would prohibit them from fighting outside of the octagon, unless given special permission.
      And that scenario has been shot down by White, who has feuded online with Paul this year.
      He told boxing trainer Teddy Atlas: “You notice how he wants to fight f***ing everybody that’s not in his weight class, guys that are older and all this bulls***.
      “Go fight a boxer. Go hump somebody else’s leg, you goofball.”
      Paul, 24, was set to face Tommy Fury, 22, this month until the British former reality TV star pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.

      Fury’s fight withdrawal means the social media sensation is yet to face an opponent with prior professional boxing experience.
      But former WBC middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 35, revealed he has been in talks with advisor Lupe Valencia to face Paul next.
      Chavez Jr said to Fight News: “Jake Paul and his people contacted me regarding a fight.
      “I said ‘yes,’ but then again Lupe Valencia, who is with Paul now and used to be with me a few years back, said they offered me $1-to-$3 million dollars (£744,000 – £2.2m) plus pay-per-view.
      “When it’s a fight that can sell millions and can break records because he is popular and I have a name, I’m a former world champion, so I made it clear that it has to be a 50/50 split for me to take the fight.
      “Take into consideration that I have to go all the way up to 190 pounds. Jake Paul is a big guy and weight matters, so it’s a risk.
      “Their people may want to see me lose and take advantage, but he doesn’t know how to box. I know I can knock him out.”
