Jake Paul admits he is ‘tired of beating these old dudes’ after being called out by Conor McGregor’s ex-opponent

JAKE PAUL admitted he is “tired of beating these old dudes” after being called out by Donald Cerrone. The YouTuber-turned prizefighter is 6-0 in his boxing career, most recently beating UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47.

That came after a pair of wins over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 40, and retired welterweight Ben Askren, 38.
So Paul, 25, has no interest in facing “Cowboy” Cerrone, 39, who retired from the UFC last year.
He told The Schmo: “I mean I don’t know, I’m kind of tired of beating these old dudes up like that.
“You know what I’m saying? So, I’m just trying to get someone in there who is younger.

“But they’re all scared, honestly. They’re just trying to protect their records.”
Paul has already confirmed he is set to return in February, following his points win over eight rounds against Silva.
And 8-0 Tommy Fury, 23, remains a possible opponent with the pair of celebrity boxing rivals still in talks to fight.
Twice Fury has been forced to pull out of the grudge match before, due to a rib injury and US visa issue, but negotiations to once again reschedule are ongoing.

Meanwhile Cerrone, who lost to Conor McGregor, 34, in 2020, has thrown his name into the hat to fight Paul.
He said on the Thiccc Boy Studios: “Would I like to fight him? How could I say no to millions of dollars?
“I would definitely go out there and do it, but I’m not sitting here saying, ‘Jake you’re a YouTuber, you’re not worth a f***, blah blah blah.’ No, man.
“You’re making money and if you want to throw some money my way, I’m with you. The Jake Paul phenomenon is kind of crazy, it’s got everyone calling him out.
“It’s kind of like the big Conor push. I feel like that’s happening with Jake Paul. Everyone wants in, and I don’t see why they wouldn’t, that’s a big money fight.
“You can’t take it away from him. Everyone is saying those are rigged fights, and I think he’s hitting hard.
“I really do think those are legitimate shots and strikes, and he’s been practicing boxing, and he’s whipping their asses.
“I don’t think there’s any missed hype, I think he’s got something going.”

He continued: “But I’m not sitting over here and saying, ‘Jake, you’re a f***ing YouTuber, ain’t worth a f**k.’
“Nah, man. You’re making money. Make the f***ing money. And if you want to throw some of that money my way, I’m with you.”

He said: “The Jake Paul phenomenon is kind of crazy, it’s gotten everybody calling him out and it’s kind of like the big Conor [McGregor] push [from early in McGregor’s career].

“Everyone is wanting to fight him, and I don’t see why they wouldn’t because that’s a big money fight.

“So, guys like Conor McGregor and guys that don’t really hit hard such as YouTubers or UFC guys.
“I don’t really mind colliding with those kinds of individuals but nothing where I am going to put myself in a position where I am going to harm myself or hurt myself.”
McGregor responded by tweeting a picture of himself uppercutting Mayweather with the accompanying caption: “#notinterested.”
Boxing legend Mayweather was last in action in November in an exhibition bout with YouTuber Deji.

Wild scenes in the Argentine dressing room followed after they kept their qualification hopes alive after they lost their first group match 2-1 to Saudi Arabia.
A clip was shared of the joyous scenes, but it showed a Mexico shirt on the floor near Messi, and as the Paris Saint-Germain man took his boot off, his foot brushed the jersey – which boxer Canelo found disrespectful.
And that led to the Mexican boxing legend saying Messi “better pray to God that I don’t find him”.
Canelo tweeted: “Did you guys see Messi cleaning the floor with our jersey and flag. He better pray to God that I don’t find him.
