    CONOR McGREGOR has been called out to brutal bare-knuckle fight by Mike Perry after their shock face-off in the ring. McGregor was a surprise ringside guest at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s event in Denver.

    He watched as ex-opponents Chad Mendes, 37, and Eddie Alvarez, 39, put on a brutal barnstormer with the latter winning.
    And McGregor, 34, stunned all when he went into the ring to confront BKFC champion Perry, 31, before teasing a bare-knuckle switch.
    Now the Irishman has been called out to take the gloves off and fight it out.
    Perry told TMZ Sports: “I think a fight looks very entertaining. The build-up. The s*** talk.

    “We’ve both been professionals in this business a long time, everyone knows who he is, he’s been at the top that list of professional fighters and athletes.
    “Big business marketing standpoint from that, I’ve got some big, big people pushing behind me who would want to make something like this happen.
    “They believe in me and my attributes and my capabilities in the sport of bare-knuckle boxing.”
    McGregor is set to make his UFC return later in the year against Michael Chandler, 36, having been out injured since July 2021.

    Meanwhile, Perry moved to 3-0 in BKFC after beating Luke Rockhold, 38, having punched the ex-UFC champion’s TEETH out.
    McGregor has one before crossed over to boxing, losing in a lucrative bout against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
    But he needed special permission from the UFC to do so, something they have not granted a signed star since.
    Although Perry is hoping McGregor wins his comeback bout against Chandler so they can set up a blockbuster in the ring.
    He said: “You know he’s still in with the UFC.
    “Let’s hope he beats Michael Chandler, then we can really make the biggest fight date in the world, Platinum Mike Perry versus The Notorious Conor McGregor.”

    CHAD MENDES announced his retirement from fighting after a brutal bare-knuckle boxing bout with Eddie Alvarez. The former UFC pair put on a hellacious show over five rounds in Denver, both scoring knockdowns against each other.

    But Alvarez emerged with a split-decision victory, which left a battered and bruised Mendes to call it quits.
    He said: “I just wanted to say thank you to all the fans.
    “This has been a lifelong career for me, I started wrestling at the age of five years old, never taken a year off up until this now.
    “I’m officially hanging them up tonight guys. Thank you very much for all the awesome memories through all my UFC career, coming into bare-knuckle.”

    Mendes, 37, left the UFC in 2018 after retiring from MMA.
    But in 2022 he crossed over to sign for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and stopped Joshuah Alvarez in his debut.
    Ex-UFC lightweight champion Alvarez, 39, faced Mendes in his first BKFC fight after leaving MMA promotion ONE Championship.
    And the two slugged it out in front of old rival Conor McGregor.

    McGregor knocked out Mendes for the interim UFC featherweight title in 2015 and repeated the result against Alvarez a year later for the lightweight belt.
    The Irishman, 34, was seen ducking and dodging during the bout, shouting advice to his former opponents.
    And he later faced off with BKFC champion Mike Perry, 31, who beat Luke Rockhold, 38, in the main event.

    And post-fight, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president Dave Feldman revealed the extent of the American’s injury.
    Feldman said: “Luke Rockhold got some of his teeth got cracked, so that is why he was unable to continue.
    “His teeth definitely got messed up pretty good. You know, but what a great start to that fight.”
    Perry, 31, moved to 3-0 in BKFC since leaving the UFC in 2021.

    And he did so with Conor McGregor, 34, as a surprise ringside guest and the Irishman opened the door to a shock bare-knuckle switch.

    Alvarez, 39, beat Mendes, 37, on points before Mike Perry stopped ex-UFC champion Luke Rockhold in two rounds of the main event.
    And McGregor, 34, looked to be enjoying himself as he was captured sipping his limited edition Irish Apple whiskey.
    But it left some fans fearing the worst with the MMA legend, who is set to make his UFC return later this year against Michael Chandler, 36.
    One said: “There is no way this dude is fighting Chandler.”

    It’s not yet known if Diaz’s imminent legal issues will impact his Dallas dust-up with Paul, but that hasn’t stopped Brit YouTuber KSI from offering up his services.
    KSI – real name Olajide Olatunji – tweeted on Monday: “Well, if that mean[s] Jake won’t have an opponent in August.
    “Then I’ll gladly come as the replacement after I KO Joe Fournier in May.”
    It didn’t take long for YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul to get wind of KSI’s offer – which he gladly accepted.

    He said: “Great. I accept you as the backup opponent. Fight is at 185 [lbs].
    “There are no rehydration clauses. Stay in shape and we will give you a call if needed.
    “Thanks buddy for being so humble and committed.”
    The agreement didn’t go unnoticed by Diaz, who issued an X-rated response to the social media sensations.

    Future UFC Hall of Famer Diaz found himself involved in a mass brawl following Misfits Boxing’s show in New Orleans – where he nearly clashed with Chase Demoor.
    Diaz didn’t throw any punches, opting instead to choke out his attacker OUT COLD with a standing guillotine after being rushed upon.

    McGregor appeared to praise Mayweather’s padwork and professed that he would like to train with the former professional boxer.
    He said: “I’d love to do work with you. Would love to do work with you some day.”

    Mayweather in 2018 offered to bring McGregor into his Las Vegas boxing club for training.
    But McGregor responded: “F*** the Mayweathers, except Senior and Roger. There is no peace here kid. Step up or step down.”
    Mayweather, 46, officially retired after beating McGregor, 34, but has continued to box in exhibition bouts.
    And he last year opened the door to rematching the UFC icon, in either an exhibition or professional bout.

    McGregor has also expressed his interest in a rematch having claimed Mayweather failed to follow up on a promise to fight him in MMA.
    He said on Fox News: “That was the original, it was a verbal agreement, I box him, he fights me. But he didn’t honour it.
    “He didn’t honoured it yet you know, who knows? I would go against him in another boxing bout. I’d like another crack at it.”
    Mayweater’s last exhibition was over eight rounds against reality TV star-turned boxer Aaron Chalmers at London’s O2 Arena.
    And he later announced he would box five more times in five different locations, including America, Asia and Europe.
    McGregor meanwhile is set to face Michael Chandler in his UFC return – his first fight since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
