Light-heavyweight prospect Fury – brother of The Gypsy King Tyson – threw his name into the hat to face the social media star but was ultimately snubbed.
And the Love Islander reckons Paul is doing a stellar job of steering clear of real fighters, saying: “If he gets in the ring with me, it’s going to be dangerous for him then.
“Keep fighting these clowns that he’s always fighting and it’s not going to be dangerous for him.
“He’s a very cunning man. He’s earned a lot of money in his career, he’s a very smart man.
“I’ve heard a lot of talk about this guy that he’s fighting, this Tyron Woodley. He’s a five-time UFC champion.
“What everyone has got to understand is that if there was any point of Tyron Woodley beating Jake Paul, that contract wouldn’t have got signed.

“Why would Jake Paul put himself in a situation where he’s gonna get knocked spark out or even have a foothold in the fight?
“It isn’t going to happen. All you’re going to see is another Jake Paul victory. Somewhere down that contract or something, you’re going to see Jake Paul W.”
Fury is adamant Paul will never test himself against a seasoned pro, adding: “He’s not going to fight anybody who can put a test up because he doesn’t need to.
“He’s making a fortune off of YouTube, he’s doing this boxing thing so he can make a bit more money.
“Why’s he’s gonna get his teeth knocked in for nothing? He’s not a stupid man.
“Whatever he does in his career, you can almost guarantee that he wins at the end of it because he’s the sole thingy.

“You grab these MMA guys that are used to fighting for three hundred of four hundred grand and you say, ‘Come here, mate, I’ll pay you five or six million’ – which is nothing to him – they’re going to take it all day long.
“Because they’ve fought their whole career for four or five hundred grand and then they’re going to fight a YouTuber for three or four million, it’s going to happen every day of the week, isn’t it?”
Fury, 22, would love to share the ring with the former Disney star but is refusing to fixate himself on the fight.
He said: “Jake Paul is what he is, you know. Like Frank [Warren] said: if the fight comes, it comes. And I’ll take it with both hands because it’s easy money.
“People ask me, ‘Why are you getting involved with him? Why is Floyd Mayweather, one of the best to ever do it, fighting his brother Logan?’ It’s easy money.

“At the end of the day, I’m not going to focus myself on Jake Paul.
“I’ve got my own career, I’ve got my own path to take and my own journey to follow.
“But if he comes into that somewhere along the line, of course I’m gonna take that. I’ll butcher him for nothing.
“It’s an easy fight to make. But calling my name is the wrong move for him.
“So whenever that fight happens, it happens. But until then, he doesn’t even come into my mind.
“Saturday night is where my mind is on. I’ve got a job to do and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
Fury will be back in action on Saturday night, taking on the 2-0 Jordan Grant at the Telford International Centre.

The pair, 24 and 39 respectively, have been embroiled in a war of words ever since Paul’s brutal first-round KO of Woodley’s good friend Ben Askren.
And The Problem Child has lit the blue touch paper by sharing a mock-up Dumb and Dumber poster featuring Woodley and Askren.
The photoshop of the iconic poster featured Woodley and Askren arm-in-arm with the classic ‘I’m with stupid’ t-shirts.
The caption emblazoned on the bottom of the poster read: “For Tyron and Ben, every day is a no-brainer.”
    Paul’s accompanying caption read: “Bff’s!”
Paul stretched his professional record to 3-0 in April with his 119-second demolition of ex-Bellator and ONE Championship ace Askren.

And Woodley, who was recently released by the UFC following his fourth consecutive loss, is relishing the opportunity to avenge his fallen friend.
He told ESPN: “Easiest fight of my career & biggest purse of my career all in one night.
“Basically, they brought me in to take out the trash. Can’t wait to shut this b***h up.
“This is getting done for the culture, the whole MMA/boxing community, to rid this guy of combat sports.”

Paul is looking forward to the step-up in competition and is confident of adding Woodley’s name to his list of victims.
He said: “It’s official. I have a list of people I plan on knocking out and as I enter my fourth pro fight, I am excited to cross the first one off the list by challenging myself against @twooodley a 5-time UFC Champion known for his knockout power.
The Chosen One later added: “Dear @jakepaul keep the Billed cap I’m taking your head clean off your neck! #GotchaSoul.”
He said: “Tyron ran his mouth a little too much in the locker room when I knocked out his best friend Ben and earned himself a top spot on the Problem Child death list.
“Tyron’s a seasoned striker who has fought the best MMA fighters in the world but will be dropped by a Disney teen star in 2 rounds.
“Maybe this time Dana White will actually be a man of his word and put his money on his former champion instead of trying to undermine my success like a jealous ex.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley CONFIRMED with fight date scheduled as YouTuber prepares to take on former UFC star

JAKE PAUL will face former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match on August 28.On Monday night, it emerged a clash between the social media star and the MMA vet was in the works for later this summer.

And on Tuesday afternoon, Paul announced to the world his fourth professional outing will see him share the ring with The Chosen One.
He wrote: “It’s officialI have a list of people I plan on knocking out and as I enter my fourth pro fight, I am excited to cross the first one off the list by challenging myself against @twooodley a 5 time UFC Champion known for his knockout power.”
Paul, 24, stretched his professional record to 3-0 in April with a brutal first-round KO of Woodley’s good friend Ben Askren.
Woodley, 39, was furious with Paul’s pre and post-fight antics and vowed to make him pay for his words.
And The St Louis slugger’s trash talk has served as added motivation for Paul to put on a show in his maiden outing on Showtime.
He added: “Tyron ran his mouth a little too much in the locker room when I knocked out his best friend Ben and earned himself a top spot on the Problem Child death list.

“Influencer vs MMA….let’s get it on. It’s Showtime.”
Woodley – who was released from the UFC in April following four consecutive losses – is relishing the opportunity to silence the younger Paul brother.
He said: “Easiest fight of my career & biggest purse of my career all in one night.
“Basically, they brought me in to take out the trash. Can’t wait to shut this b***h up.

“This is getting done for the culture, the whole MMA/boxing community, to rid this guy of combat sports.”
Paul has made waves in the combat sports world since making his professional boxing debut in January 2020.
The outspoken YouTuber has ruffled the feathers of boxers and mixed martial artists alike with his brashness and supreme confidence.
Woodley is among those irked by the former Disney star and can’t wait to get his hands on him.
Last month, he told TMZ: “Some people just need to be taught a lesson.
“Like at the end of the day, you just can’t sit here and think that real motherf*****s have put their time in this.
“Yeah if you want get in here and get a couple fights and make some money because you’ve got so many subscribers and you did something dope in another lane, I’m all for that.
“But when it comes down to [it], you gonna parade around and act like, ‘Oh, I’m a boxer, everybody is scared of me. I’m this, I’m that.’
“And then, you’re talking s**t about my dog. Now we gotta go.”

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley tale of the tape: How YouTuber and out-of-form UFC star compare ahead of fight

JAKE PAUL and Tyron Woodley are set to go toe-to-toe in the boxing ring after they agreed to fight, according to reports.YouTuber Paul, 24, holds a 3-0 professional record early in his career, while 39-year-old UFC star Woodley has lost his last four fights in the octagon.
How Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley compare ahead of their boxing match
Woodley called out Paul in April – but insisted he wanted any fight to be under MMA regulations.
However, The Athletic now claim the pair will face off in the boxing ring.
The Problem Child is also said to have recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime.
And they plan to use Friday’s clash between Jake’s older brother Logan and Floyd Mayweather in Miami to promote the latest contest.
But how do Paul and Woodley compare ahead of their proposed fight?
Paul holds the edge in boxing, having fought – and won – three times in the ring.
Woodley has never boxed, but is streets ahead of his American rival in terms of fighting experience.
The veteran MMA star has been fighting in UFC since February 2009 and has a career record of 19-7-1 following a recent slump in form.

Woodley most-recently lost to Vicente Luque, following losses at the hands of Colby Covington, Gilbert Burns and Kamaru Usman.
Meanwhile, Paul will go into the fight fresh from his quick-fire mauling of ex-MMA star Ben Askren, having already beaten former NBA star Nate Robinson and YouTuber AnEsonGib since turning pro.
Paul, standing at 6ft 2in, holds the height advantage over 5ft 9in Woodley, while boasting an extra stone in weight and additional two inches on his reach.
Despite that, Woodley should provide the sternest test of Paul’s fledgling career.
The Chosen One claimed the UFC welterweight belt at UFC 201 then defended it four times.

And he recently revealed his desire to ‘f***ing hit Paul’s face’ – although Woodley had initially hoped to fight in the octagon.
Woodley roared: “You had a lot to say in the locker room, let’s fight.
“I wanna hear what [Jake Paul] gotta say about it. You wanna fight me? He could fight me.
“I’ll fight in MMA, because I wanna elbow his ass. I don’t want no little boxing, the p**fy gloves.
“I wanna elbow, I wanna f***ing hit his face. I wanna almost break his arm and just let him out.
“So if his boy wants to fight me, he’s gonna have to come and see me in the cage.”

“So if his boy wants to fight me, he’s gonna have to come and see me in the cage.”
Paul started his boxing venture with an early TKO of YouTuber AnEsonGib then took out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson.
In his recent fight with Ben Askren in April, the retired MMA man was KO’d within two minutes of the first round.
But Woodley should provide a sterner test for Paul.
The 39-year-old American claimed the UFC welterweight belt at UFC 201 then defended it four times.
He beat Darren Till in September 2018 but lost his latest contest to Vicente Luque in March.
That defeat ensured he has four losses in a row, including to Kamaru Usman – when he relinquished the belt – and Colby Covington.

Speaking to TMZ, Liddell said: “He’s [Paul] not good enough to fight me.
“It just doesn’t make sense for him. None of it makes sense for this guy. He’s going to risk getting hurt like that?”
Liddell’s beef with the 24-year-old began after Paul defeated MMA star Ben Askren in April.
A fan asked the MMA legend to ‘shut’ the professional boxer up on Twitter, to which Liddell replied: “I’m ready any time for that clown.”
Paul has enjoyed a good start to his boxing career with a 3-0 pro record, stopping Askren in his most recent bout.
The YouTuber has been called out by countless fighters – including journeyman Andy Bishop and Love Island star Tommy Fury – as his internet fame will guarantee him huge pay-per-view figures.
Paul was named in the top three richest boxers on the planet in 2020, behind only Anthony Joshua and Canelo Alvarez.
The internet star is yet to fight any credible boxers, although he maintains his desire to succeed in the ring.

Paige VanZant hoping to bounce back from Bare Knuckle debut defeat when she fights former UFC rival Rachael Ostovich

PAIGE VANZANT will rematch Rachael Ostovich – but this time in bare-knuckle boxing as the two ex-UFC rivals signed to fight. VanZant debuted in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in February but was beaten by Britain Hart.

But the result has not affected her star power having been lined up for a second consecutive headliner on July 23.
This time it will be against a familiar face in Ostovich, 30, who she beat in the octagon in 2019.
Ostovich, like VanZant, was also released by the UFC with the news confirmed in December after three straight losses.
She then penned a deal with BKBFC, leaving MMA with a 4-6 record.
Announcing the fight, VanZant, 27, posted: “Come for the boobies, stay for the violence.”
The American, who recently launched her own raunchy fan website, was beaten on points by Hart in her first BKBFC fight.
Her husband Austin Vanderford, a Bellator middleweight, helped her train for the sporting switch but admitted it was a hard watch.
He told MMA Fighting, he said: “It honestly felt like an MMA fight.

“Of course, there’s a little more at stake with the damage and it being a new venture, and whatnot.
“I was extremely proud, especially her last round I thought she really turned it on and it kind of showed what she can go forward and do in the fights to come.
“More than anything, her spirit wasn’t broken. We learned from it and there was definitely a learning curve.
“One of the biggest advantages in bare knuckle is just the experience, going in there and doing it because it’s different than what we’ve grown accustomed to.
“But I’m really confident, excited for her next fight and I was extremely proud.
“Of course we were both bummed out [about the result]. It felt like it was a fight she could win but going into it, Britain had the experience over her – I think it was her fourth or fifth fight – and it just was a big eye-opener.
“Even just the round lengths being so short, and just knowing how much we could put on the gas pedal from the opening minutes to the rest of the fight.
“But it was kind of hard to watch, for sure.”

Jake Paul warned he would be KOd by UFC legend Conor McGregor’s sparring partner Dillon Danis with fight in works

The jujitsu champion has not lost hope of facing the 3-0 social media star-turned boxer and continues to tease a venture into the ring.
And after a recent sparring session with gym-mate Peter Queally, Danis was backed to take the bragging rights home.
Queally, 34, posted: “Hadn’t sparred @dillondanis in ages and honestly was just gassing him up about the Jake Paul fight the past few months because he is my friend.
“This is exactly what you should be doing by the way, if your friends aren’t gassing you up every chance they get then they aren’t your friends.
“But anyway, after what I witnessed from him today, I have now seen enough empirical evidence to say he beats Jake in a boxing match.
    “Set it up!!”
Paul, 24, offered Danis, 27, a fight in March but the unbeaten MMA contender was ruled out with a knee injury.
The social media star instead went on to face retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, in April, winning in the first round.

Paul has since signed for Showtime, the same network who televise Danis’ MMA promotion Bellator.
But the internet celebrity ruled out ever fighting his rival, as he insisted it would not be a challenge and unfair for the fans to pay for.
Paul told SunSport: “If I were to fight Dillon the excuses would pile in even before I destroy him.
“They’d say, ‘He’s only had two fights, he does jiujitsu and he’s not a striker’.
“I’m not challenging myself, I’m almost letting the fans down and the community as I’m literally going to go in there and knock this guy out in one or two rounds.
“I’m tired of my fans paying $50 and they only get one minute. I want a challenge. I want someone to punch me in the f***ing face.
“This is fighting and I haven’t been hit yet in my three professional fights.
