Shocking reason Shakira put witch doll on balcony after Pique split REVEALED ‘following cruel comments by ex’s parents’

THE shocking explanation behind Shakira’s creepy witch doll on her balcony has been revealed. The singer placed the terrifying figurine on her balcony in January – following the sour split from her ex Gerard Pique in 2022.

Shakira’s witch raised eyebrows as it was photographed looking out onto the home of her in-law’s.
The Hips Don’t Lie singer did take the doll down briefly, but it was put back up on the balcony just last week.
And now, the shocking reason behind the Halloween decoration has been revealed.
It is believed that Shakira is taking petty revenge after finding out the nickname her mother-in-law and Clara Chia, Pique’s new girlfriend, both gave her.
    READ MORE ON SHAKIRA
The Twitter account JLOAccess reported that both women called the Colombian artist a “witch”.
To score the perfect revenge on the pair, Shakira placed the frightening doll on her balcony, ominously glaring towards the house shared by Pique’s parents.
According to the Twitter account, it was their children who informed Shakira about the cruel nickname.
“Pique has the nerve to say he wants to protect his children while allowing his family to insult Shakira in front of them,” the Twitter account wrote.
    Most read in Football
Pique’s mum, Montserrat Bernabeu, reportedly stormed over to Shakira’s house and told her to turn the witch doll around in January, but the singer refused.
This came days after Shakira’s footballer ex was seen coming face to face with her creepy doll as he arrived at the singer’s property.
As well as putting up the doll, neighbours reported she also blasted out her diss track — BZRP Music Sessions #53 — on repeat so Pique’s mum could hear.
The singer’s explosive song, left little doubt that she was referring to her former partner and his younger lover.
In the track, she took a swipe at Clara’s age with the lyrics: “I’m worth two 22s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded a Rolex for a Casio.”
And Pique responded to the song by turning up to work in an £8,000 Renault Twingo.
He also boasted that his new seven-a-side project the King’s League had landed a sponsorship deal with Casio – adding that the cheaper watch would “last a lifetime”.
Shakira, 45, and Pique, 35, split last year after the Spaniard left her for 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti.
It was reported that Shakira recruited a team of professionals to snoop on her ex before their messy break-up.
She is said said to have hired a private investigator to trail Pique to confirm her suspicions.
The super sleuth spotted the Spaniard frequently visiting the nightclub where his now girlfriend worked, Marca reported.
Rumours had also swirled that Shakira first smelt a rat after taking a look in her fridge at their five-storey Barcelona property.
The songstress is said to have returned home from a period of travelling to find her strawberry jam had been eaten.
    Read More on The Sun
It’s been claimed that Pique follows a strict diet and would not have tucked into the jam – and neither would her children.
The pair have been engaged in a sour falling-out since they parted ways after a 12-year romance.

Man Utd icon Gary Neville urges Spurs chiefs NOT to fire Antonio Conte sparking blazing row with Jamie Carragher

GARY NEVILLE completely disagrees with Jamie Carragher and says Tottenham should keep Antonio Conte so he can help deliver a top four finish. And that led to a blazing Twitter row between the much-loved Sky Sports pundits.

The Italian delivered a damning ten-minute rant after his team drew 3-3 at relegation threatened Southampton on Saturday.
Spurs were leading 3-1 before they were pegged back late on to suffer a huge blow in their quest for a top four finish as James Ward-Prowse equalised with a penalty in stoppage time.
Conte, who is out of contract at the end of the campaign with talks over an extension almost non-existent, has so far failed in his quest to end the club’s 15-year trophy drought.
And after his angry tirade against both his players, the owner and chairman, it seems highly-unlikely that he will be given another opportunity next season with Carragher urging the club to sack him now.
    READ MORE ON FOOTBALL
Manchester United legend Neville then took to Twitter this morning to say: “Many saying Conte should go this morning. I’d keep him right where he is and make him do his job.”
However, that led to a long back-and-forth on social media between him and Carragher which ended up with Neville having to defend his record as part-owner of Salford City.
Liverpool icon Carragher accused Neville of double-standards after Richie Wellens was sacked at Salford after publicly blasting his players.
But when he asked why the same should not apply at Tottenham, Neville hit back with: “Errrr Conte and Spurs can finish top 4 . We couldn’t!”

Tottenham are currently fourth in the Premier League, a point behind United, and know their only route back into the Champions League is with a top four finish.
Carragher then posted a shot of the League Two table at the time Wellens was sacked which showed them just outside of the play-offs as he disputed the claim that they could not be promoted at that time.
That led to Neville replying: “Conte is in 4th place we were in free fall 6 points off play offs in 9th with largest budget in league! I do know I was watching.”
Neville then continued to defend his Salford record, which included four promotions and winning the EFL Trophy, before taking a backseat.
He also highlighted United’s lack of silverware during that time period too, only for Carragher to say: “Battering Man Utd to win an argument with me about Salford & Ed Woodward.” More

“Well done Gary – the license fee is now toast.”
The presenter, on £1.35million a year was blasted for his criticism of Suella Braverman’s migrant boats plan.
He hit out at the Illegal Migration Bill, which bans people who arrive on small boats from settling in Britain, on Twitter.
Lineker wrote: “This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the ’30s, and I’m out of order?”
The bill will see migrants detained and removed to their home country, or a safe third state within 28 days.
Tory MPs slammed the tweet as “foul, ill-conceived and disgraceful”, while Downing Street said his language was “not acceptable and disappointing to see”.
Energy secretary Grant Shapps wrote on Twitter: “As a Jewish cabinet minister I need no lessons about 1930s Germany from Gary Lineker.
“Like Gary, I am hosting refugees in my own home, but unlike Gary, I do not believe it is either right or moral to tolerate criminal gangs trafficking vulnerable people across the channel.”
Home secretary Suella Braverman branded the TV presenter’s comments “irresponsible” and immigration minister Robert Jenrick said he was “out of step with the British public”.
Following Lineker’s tweet, the BBC “decided that [Lineker] will step back from presenting Match of the Day” after the post was found to have breached the BBC’s strict impartiality rules.

Lineker’s failure to say sorry himself also attracted criticism.
He today marked his return to the popular TV show by tweeting a picture of him and teammates Shearer and Micah Richards.
And it came minutes after Lineker posted a selfie with the caption: “Ah the joys of being allowed to stick to football.”
Opening the show, Lineker told viewers how thrilled he was to be back at his “Saturday job”.
And Shearer – who also pulled out in solidarity with Lineker – apologised to fans for missing last week’s show.
He said: “I want to say how upset we were that all the audiences missed out on last weekend.
“It was a really difficult situation for all concerned.
“For no fault of their own some great people in TV and radio were put in an impossible situation.
“It’s good to get back  to some sort of normality and talk about football.”
Lineker responded: “I echo those sentiments.”
Since the controversy exploded, the BBC have come under fire for their handling of the situation.
Mr Davie said in a statement the corporation has commissioned an independent review of its social media guidelines and apologised for the impartiality row.
He described the BBC’s commitment to freedom of expression and impartiality as a “difficult balancing act”.
He added: “The potential confusion caused by the grey areas of the BBC’s social media guidance that was introduced in 2020 is recognised.
“I want to get matters resolved and our sport content back on air.”

It comes as the BBC’s highest-paid presenter, on £1.35million a year, had been suspended from his Match of the Day presenting duties, following a tweet criticising Suella Braverman’s migrant boats plan.

Lineker took to Twitter to hit out at the Illegal Migration Bill, which bans people who arrive on small boats from settling in Britain.
Lineker faced a wave of fury over the crisis after he failed to apologise himself for his tweet comparing the Government’s new migrant plan to 1930s Germany.
The comment attracted criticism from MPs and was branded “offensive” by the Home Secretary.
Lineker’s words were considered in breach of the BBC’s strict impartiality rules which state that staff must avoid taking sides on political controversies and remain impartial.
In a statement, the BBC previously said it had “decided that he will step back from presenting Match of the Day until we’ve got an agreed and clear position on his use of social media”.
Lineker’s co-hosts on Match of The Day, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer also stepped back from the show in support of their colleague.
Wright tweeted: “Everybody knows what Match of the Day means to me, but I’ve told the BBC I won’t be doing it tomorrow. Solidarity.”
Alan Shearer quickly followed suit and said: “I have informed the BBC that I won’t be appearing on MOTD tomorrow night.”
Alex Scott, Jermaine Jenas, Micah Richards and Mark Chapman also banded together in support of Lineker, meaning Match of the Day went ahead without a presenter, pundits or commentary on the broadcast.
It meant Match Of The Day ran for just 20 minutes on Saturday – without commentary or even the iconic theme tune.

Disruption caused by the sudden staff uprising also saw Football Focus, Final Score, the Fighting Talk podcast and 5Live’s 606 football phone in cancelled.
And Match Of The Day 2 ran for just 14 minutes, again with no commentary or presenters.
