      But the keeper has endured a nightmare start to life at the Theatre of Dreams, making several gaffes.
      His poor form continued in the Red Devils’ Premier League clash with Brentford on Saturday.
      The former Ajax stopper allowed a tame shot from Mathias Jensen to squeeze underneath him in the 26th minute to give the Bees a shock lead.
      And scores of United fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their frustrations with the 27-year-old’s latest error.
      One wrote: “Remember when they said Onana was De Gea’s upgrade.”
      Another said: “Onana is terrible.”
      And another said: “I used to think United’s defence was exposing Onana – but it seems he’s just bad.”

      Sancho, 23, hit back at his gaffer on X (formerly Twitter) last month after the Dutchman claimed he didn’t train adequately ahead of United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.
      The former Borussia Dortmund man has been forced to train away from his team-mates until he apologises for his public outburst.
      But that hasn’t stopped him from keeping up with his own regime to stay match fit.
      And to ensure he stays sharp, United have granted Sancho permission to train with their Under 21s.

      Sancho arrived at the club’s Carrington training ground on Friday morning in his custom-made Mercedes Brabus 4×4.

      Ten Hag has refused to be drawn on the ongoing saga, recently saying: “I don’t talk about personal issues.

      Sancho wasn’t the only United star to arrive at training in style this morning.

      Skipper Bruno Fernandes turned up to Carrington in a slick all-black Bentley as he looked to get back on track following Tuesday’s horror home loss to Galatasaray in the Champions League.
      Defenders Diogo Dalot and Victor Lindelof opted to take their respective Ferrari and Mercedes Benz motors for spins on an overcast day.
      Porsche 4x4s were the cars of choice for wingers Facundo Pellistri and Antony, while fellow wideman Alejandro Garnacho turned up in an all-white Merc.
      Midfielders Christian Eriksen and Casemiro rocked up in a Porsche 911 and Audi 4×4 respectively.
      Strikers Anthony Martial and Rasmus Hojland turned up in luxury motors too, with the former arriving in a black Mercedes G Wagon and the latter in a black Range Rover.
      Injured Luke Shaw won the award for the swankiest motor of the day at Carrington, turning up in a 4×4 Rolls Royce worth a cool £250,000.
      United will look to get back to winning ways in the league tomorrow afternoon against Brentford.
      Erik ten Hag’s strugglers welcome the Bees to Old Trafford without a win in their last three Premier League matches.
      The Red Devils are currently toiling in TENTH place in the Premier League table having lost four of their seven matches this campaign.

      A prickly Moyes responded: “Well I’m not going to answer anything about Jarrod getting in the England team before a West Ham cup game tonight so let’s keep to the West Ham questions please.”
      A bemused Rhind-Tutt responded: “But just the qualities he’s shown in your team then.”
      Moyes – who has form for snapping at journalists – then gave a more normal response and said: “He’s a really good player. He can play many positions and we’ll use him in different positions tonight.”
      Rhind-Tutt took to Twitter after to say: “David Moyes had a go at me and I’m still not sure why” as he shared the interaction.

      He also had an angry exchange with his own player last year.
      After the latest outburst, Moyes was then asked about the fact that West Ham had to play without any away fans owing to a ban they received for throwing missiles during last year’s Conference League final.
      He said: “It’s really difficult because part of getting your team in Europe is you really want your supporters to enjoy the trips and I think over the last few years we’ve hopefully given them a few trips they’ve enjoyed.
      “Especially last year, winning in Prague. But for them not to be here tonight is disappointing.”
      Those fans would have laid their eyes on more Europa glory had they been there, with West Ham winning 2-1 thanks to headed goals from Lucas Pacqueta and Nayef Aguerd.
      The away win leaves them top of the group and in pole position to progress to the Round of 16. More

      The snap was taken during the Captain’s Day meeting between the 10 participating teams. 
      Soon after the picture started to trend, fans on X, formerly called Twitter, started to believe the South African skipper was sleeping on stage.
      The player then came out to clear the air for himself, attributing it to a misleading camera angle. 
      Replying to the viral picture, the captain wrote: “I blame the camera angle, I was not asleep.”

      Despite Bavuma’s denial, a wide group of fans remained unconvinced – and several of them continued to affirm he appeared to be in a “relaxed” state during the captain’s meet. 
      The picture created a lot of memes – and fans from the world of cricket took several comical digs at the skipper. 
      However, this is not the first time Bavuma broke the internet with a funny incident. 
      During a three-match test series against India in December 2021, Bavuma sparked hilarious memes when he batted alongside Marco Jansen.

      The pair had a 1ft 4in height difference and it made a comical viewing as they came together between the wickets. 
      Bavuma, the vice-captain then, was patiently trying to golf the wicket for a draw during the first game.  
      But as his team-mates fell, Bavuma 5ft 4in, was joined in the middle by debutant Marco Jansen who stands at a whopping 6ft 8in. 
      TV camera operators struggled to even get them in the same shot when they chatted at the end of overs.
      Fans were left in stitches after seeing the massive 16-inch height difference between the two batsmen. 
      One fan wrote: “Bavuma Jansen together in one frame,” followed by a series of crying emojis.
      A second said: “How will Bavuma and Jansen hug each other if they pull off a win for SA here?”
      Temba Bavuma is now set to captain the Proteas for the first time in an ICC ODI World Cup. 
      South Africa will commence their 2023 World Cup campaign playing against Sri Lanka on Sunday, October 7.

      The mystery leaker has stopped posting on match days.
      But the account most recently issued injury updates regarding the fitness of Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Sergio Reguilon, who are all sidelined.
      Much of the information is accurate, and confidential.
      And, according to The Mail, the account has raised immense suspicion at Old Trafford.

      And United chiefs believe someone connected with the club must be behind it.
      Now the Manchester giants are said to be investigating in a bid to root out any possible moles.
      The profile was created earlier this year, often beating the Red Devils’ official accounts in revealing the latest news.
      This has led to plenty of traction online and a large number of followers.

      “United fans should be hounding out these accounts that routinely leak this kind of information, and questioning what is their motivation for doing it.”
      United return to action tonight against Galatasaray in the Champions League.
