But Barton, 41, took to X/Twitter to blast her appearance saying “you’re dreadful as a pundit”.
Alongside the TikTok live video, Barton wrote: “Cry me a f***ing river… I was waiting for the victim card to be played.
“Eni, sorry luv, you’re dreadful as a pundit. Tone deaf, can’t count and most importantly you know next to nothing about men’s football.
“You should have ran off to a desert island after your ‘Arteta phoning Pep to put a bid’ in nonsense. Everyone is laughing at you. Not just me.”

But he was blasted online, with commenters taking aim at him for his sexist claims.
One wrote: “You’re just trying to drive women out of the game.”
Another added: “But you dislike her because she’s a woman, not because she’s a bad pundit.”
A third said: “Let me ask you a serious question: when does fair comment become bullying?”

It comes after Aluko revealed she has left the UK fearing for her safety after being bombarded by online abuse, in a 15-minute video posted on her Instagram account.
The star said she had not left her house until Friday but is “now abroad” after feeling “genuinely scared”.
The post also included a stark warning that the online abuse of women working in football was in real danger of ending in tragedy.
Barton sparked fury earlier this month when he took aim at Aluko and Lucy Ward.
He dubbed them “the Fred and Rose West of football commentary”.
Fred and Rose West were two of Britain’s worst serial killers.
Barton made the comparison as he questioned their legitimacy as pundits after they covered Crystal Palace’s FA Cup draw with Everton.
But instead of apologising after the backlash, the ex-Manchester City footballer launched another foul-mouthed tirade, likening Aluko to communist dictators Joseph Stalin and Pol Pot.

She wrote: “I’ve genuinely been scared this week. I didn’t leave my house until Friday, and I’m now abroad.
“Because it’s really important to say that online abuse has a direct impact on your safety and how safe you feel in real life. I felt under threat this week. I felt like something was going to happen to me.”

The former England striker also suggested she is taking legal action following Barton’s disgusting rants.
She continued: “If you come out and are racist, or sexist or misogynistic and threaten people online, there are laws for that and that govern that behaviour. It’s not free. It’s not freedom of consequences, either.
“There are consequences for that. And over the past week I’ve taken advice from lawyers and a course of action has now been decided upon.”
The former England striker did not mention Barton by name but branded him the “loudest critic right now, who used to play for Man City”.
Fellow pundit Ward is also set to take legal action over the disgraceful posts, according to the Telegraph.
Barton was already facing Government and legal action over his “dangerous” posts on X, with Stuart Andrew, the sports minister, last week announcing he would “look at” what could be done about the former footballer’s rants about women.
While Barton’s rants appear an attempt to gain publicity ahead of the launch of his podcast, Mr Andrew insisted he must be held accountable.
He said: “These are dangerous comments that open the floodgates for abuse and that’s not acceptable,’ Andrew said at a Department for Culture, Media and Sport select committee.
“I’m slightly wary that these sort of people want the oxygen and I don’t want to fuel that.”
Barton was called out on social media by the likes of Laura Woods, Bianca Westwood and Piers Morgan as well as thousands of fans following his controversial comments.
And ITV Sport also hit back at Barton in a statement on X, formerly Twitter.
The ITV post said: “For Joey Barton, an ex-professional player with a significant social media presence, to target two of our pundits, Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward, with such vindictive remarks based on gender and to invoke the names of serial killers in doing so is clearly contemptible and shameful on his part.”
Gary Neville backed the statement of ITV, his former employer, in a post on X.
But Barton threatened the former Manchester United star saying he would “get emptied”.
Barton then responded to ITV’s post with a foul-mouthed tirade.
He wrote: “Shut up you f***ing idiots. Keep them off the telly. They’re ruining the game for everyone of us.
“It’s what happens when you force under qualified, under prepared, tokenistic people onto us.
“I will be calling them all serial killers from now on.”
He then doubled down on his remarks, including likening Aluko to dictators Joseph Stalin and Pol Pot.
Stalin was the supreme ruler of the Soviet Union for a quarter of a century, including throughout World War II and is known for his totalitarian communist regime.
Pol Pot, meanwhile, was another communist dictator who ruled Cambodia as Prime Minister of Democratic Kampuchea in the 70s.
And on January 7 he then continued on his sexist rant against women footballing pundits with another vile accusation.
The former Bristol Rovers manager alleged the experienced stars have used “pillow talk” and their “sexuality to get an advantage”.
The post, on X, formerly Twitter, made several sexist accusations at unnamed women pundits.
“We all know whose marriages you have violated. What info you got from the pillow talk to get ahead…”
“I also, don’t blame you using your sexuality to get an advantage. It’s a big tool and everyone should use all there tools wisely in the game of life.”

Brutal Boxing Day message Lauryn Goodman sent Kyle Walker’s wife Annie revealed – as love rat issues grovelling apology

HEARTBROKEN Annie Kilner discovered hubby Kyle Walker had fathered a second love child with Lauryn Goodman when she got a Boxing Day message — from Lauryn herself. The model and influencer is understood to have bluntly written: “I don’t have two baby daddies — I have one.”

Annie dumped Walker after a series of sex scandalsCredit: BackGrid
England and Manchester City ace Kyle, 33, was then dumped by his  wife after admitting he was indeed the father.
Lauryn had also forwarded a photo of Kyle enjoying a playdate with both their children in a park.
Annie, 30, had long suspected he was the dad of Lauryn’s daughter, born in July, after he bought the model a £2million mansion.
The Boxing Day exchange between the two confirmed her worst fears.  Annie banished the £160,000-a-week player from the family’s £2.4million home and has since ditched her wedding ring.

Kyle moved to an apartment nearby and is said to be battling to save his two-year marriage.
His apology yesterday comes after Annie — who has sons, Roman, Riaan and Reign, with the player — announced she was “taking time away” from him.
He wrote on Instagram: “Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I’ve caused her.”
She had previously been humiliated after Kyle was unmasked as the father of Lauryn’s  son Kairo, born in April 2020.
    Most read in Football
He had promised to have nothing more to do with Lauryn  or his son.But in September 2022 he met her in secret at a lawyer’s office.
The pair resumed contact and weeks later Lauryn was pregnant with their second child.
Remarkably, as his complicated personal life threatened to unravel, Kyle’s performances on the pitch went from strength to strength.
One pal said he had been living a double life while “playing the best football of his career”.
In November, he was even handed the England captaincy for the first time for the 1-1 draw with North Macedonia.
But on Boxing Day his betrayal finally caught up with him.A source said: “Lauryn had  had enough of the lies so told Annie everything on Boxing Day.
“Annie was stunned but knew ultimately that Lauryn was telling her the truth. There is no hiding that fact. She thought she deserved to know the truth.”
Another source told how the marriage had been on the rocks for months after Lauryn taunted her online about the identity of the baby’s father.
They added: “The message she sent on Boxing Day confirmed what Annie already knew deep down. She didn’t want to believe it, but she knew. Kyle had bought her a house for more than  £2million.
“There was no need for him to do that  unless he had something to hide. That raised suspicions.
“Annie didn’t find out for a month and was livid.
“Then on Boxing Day, Lauryn messaged Annie out of the blue.
“They exchanged two or three messages and Annie was left in no doubt. Lauryn told her that her children had the same father.
“She even sent her a photograph of Kyle with the two kids in a park. Annie confronted Kyle and he admitted it before being told to leave the house for good. The ground was shaky already after months of arguments over Lauryn but this was the final straw.”
Annie hired Coleen Rooney’s victorious Wagatha Christie lawyer Paul Lunt and PR guru Rachel Monk as she plotted a fightback. And on Wednesday she fired the first shot by announcing her split from the love-cheat ace.
She said on Instagram: “I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.”
The couple met as teenagers in their home city of Sheffield.
But their troubles began after he made a £50million move from Tottenham to Manchester City in 2017.
In 2019 it emerged he had romped with Ex On The Beach star Laura Brown in his Bentley.
Model Annie kicked him out but gave him another chance.
He was moving his stuff back in when he had a brief fling with Lauryn and she fell pregnant. Kyle moved out of the family home and began renting a luxury £8,000-a-month apartment in nearby Hale, Cheshire.
He pleaded with Annie to take him back but was then exposed for breaking Covid  rules by hosting a £2,200 orgy with two hookers.
Lauryn gave birth to Kairo in April then publicly unmasked Walker as his dad.
Annie took him back again and he proposed with a £250,000  ring. The couple wed in December 2021 at Mottram Hall, Cheshire.
It comes as the player romped with Ex On The Beach star Laura Brown in his Bentley 4×4 and was caught having a Covid busting orgy with two hookers.
Last March the City star was seen on CCTV exposing himself in a bar and snogging a woman.

SACKED Formula One chief Guenther Steiner will speak in a bombshell interview just days after his dismissal from Haas.Steiner, who became an F1 fan favourite thanks to his starring role in popular Netflix show Drive To Survive, was sacked from his role of Haas team principal ahead of the new season.

Steiner is said to have wanted to go in a different direction to owner Gene HaasCredit: Splash
The move was put down to differences in direction between Steiner and team owner Gene Haas.
It has been claimed the American had grown frustrated by the lack of progress since the team arrived in F1 in 2016, culminating with them finishing bottom of the constructors championship last season.
Meanwhile, Steiner is said to have wanted more investment in the team, feeling there had been a lack of money pumped in compared to rivals.
These differences of opinion ultimately led to Steiner departing from Haas.

His replacement has already been announced in the form of Ayao Komatsu, who was promoted from his previous role as Director of Engineering.

“Should be an interesting chat as it always is. Good luck for the future to Haas, Ayao Komatsu & of course Guenther.”
Reports from Sky F1 have also suggested that Steiner was not allowed to say goodbye to the team, leaving many people “disappointed.”
In a statement Haas said: “I’d like to start by extending my thanks to Guenther Steiner for all his hard work over the past decade and I wish him well for the future.
“Moving forward as an organisation it was clear we need to improve our on-track performances.
“In appointing Ayao Komatsu as team principal we fundamentally have engineering at the heart of our management.
“We have had some successes, but we need to be consistent in delivering results that help us reach our wider goals as an organisation.
“We need to be efficient with the resources we have but improving our design and engineering capability is key to our success as a team.

Joey Barton comments: What has he said on Twitter?

JOEY Barton is very active on social media, regularly making the headlines since early December 2023 for voicing his opinions about women commentating on men’s football. But what exactly has Barton said, and who has reacted to his incendiary comments?
Joey Barton has made repeated claims that women should not commentate on men’s footballCredit: PA:Empics Sport
    What has Joey Barton said?
Former Manchester City and Newcastle star Joey Barton has repeatedly taken to his keyboard to complain about female players talking about men’s football.
Barton has repeatedly responded to men taking issue with his comments by calling them “eunuchs”.
He’s also posted images of children’s dolls such as Action Man without any genitalia to emphasise his point.
    Here’s what Barton’s been saying…

On December 6, 2023 Barton started the controversy by tweeting: “Women shouldn’t be talking with any kind of authority in the men’s game. Come on. Let’s be serious.
“It’s a completely different game. If you don’t accept that. We will always see things differently.
“The women’s game is thriving. Fantastic to see.
“I cannot take a thing they say serious in the men’s arena.”
    Most read in Football
His tirade on X, formerly Twitter, included saying that women commentating on men’s football was the same as him “talking about knitting or netball”.
Barton, 41, defended his comments on Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV — slamming former England and Arsenal footballer Alex Scott.
During her footy career she won eight league titles, three WSL Cups, seven FA Cups, the Champions League once, and two Community Shields.
When quizzed about her commentating he said, “she hasn’t played in it”.
“One is 200 years old and one is about 40 years old… it’s the same rules but football is about a lot more than rules… The games are at two different speeds,” he said in his rant.
Barton said it was the same as him commentating on Formula One just because he can drive a car.
He then took to X once again to call out Bianca Westwood and Laura Woods for a debate on his new Common Sense podcast, after the pair both shared their views on his remarks.
The former midfielder wrote: “Both of you follow me. And not the other way around. So, Why the silence?
“Do you both have something to hide?
“You can come and debate. Just make sure you’re ready.
“I’ll take your silence as a sign you know it’s not for you. Screaming from the rooftops yesterday. Tumbleweeds blowing across the vast expanse today. Says it all…”
Neither Woods nor Westwood responded to Barton’s taunt — so he increased his efforts by questioning why they chose to remain silent.
He added: “Laura Woods and Bianca Westwood won’t come on the show. They’re not brave enough. Lots to say yesterday?
“You should have kept your heads down. Something to hide girls?
    “Cat got your tongue today!”
On December 7, 2023 Barton tweeted: “The Women’s game is absolutely thriving. Great to see. It’s a fantastic sport in its own right.
“Really entertaining. Good to watch. Technically and tactically not that much difference.
“Physically. Complete different planet. Until you have experienced that. You cannot say what you would have done in said position at said time. No.
“It’s got a great England team (that wins stuff!) it’s got its own Premier League. It’s got its own Champions League.
“Please for the love of God, go and commentate on that!
“You can say what you want. You will be qualified to. You have actual experience of what is taking place.
“The eunuch’s might not agree. But somebody had to say something. Hate it having to be me…”
On December 8, 2023 he wrote:” If any top male players, ex-players think I’m wrong. That Women are overkill and under qualified in the Men’s punditry and commentary space.
“The floor is open to you all as well.
“As I said, anywhere, anytime and any place.
    “Send me Location.
    “2 hours. No edit.
    “Gloves off. Conkers out.”
On December 16, 2023 Barton continued his social media tirade by slamming Football Focus.
Barton said: “36 minutes. Football Focus turned off. Sorry, it’s just terrible.
“Drivel and nonsense served with a side of boring. No wonder it’s getting canned.
“Well done to all involved. Another flagship destroyed by The Tokens.”
He next took aim at SPOTY winner Mary Earps.
On December 20, 2023 Barton tweeted: “So the best sports person this year is… A Women Goalie. Lost in a couple of finals this year. Not won a sausage.
“So popular that Nike didn’t even sell a replica jersey before tournament.
“You telling me all those who jumped on that bandwagon, haven’t voted in the BBC nonsense?
“Good luck to Mary. Hope she makes a few quid.”
Joey then added: “To win before Ronnie O’Sullivan and Frankie Dettori…? Well, that’s just madness to me.
“Both almost genius like in their respective fields. They’ve lost to a big sack of spuds that plays in goal for a girls team.”
On December 26, 2023 he tweeted: “Is this women pundit (Finnis-Brown) an international goalie.
“She’s at least a foot shorter than Tortoise head and McManaman…
“I’d Chip her on her line.
“Why is she talking about the men’s game???
    “Please stop this nonsense”
On December 31, 2023, Barton reposted a tweet from Amazon Prime managing director for sport Alex Green, along with the comment: “Well done Alex.
“Can you now remove the terribly under qualified, tone deaf, tokenistic women currently all over your broadcasts.
“They’re ruining the experience for most of us.”
On Jan 1, 2024 Barton posted: “How can we not call this out for what it is?
“Women who are under qualified, under prepared and over opinionated.
“It’s ruining the experience for millions of Football addicts, like myself.”
On January 5, 2024 Barton compared two female commentators to serial killers.
He called  pundits Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward “the Fred and Rose West of football”.
Speaking about Aluko, Barton tweeted: “How is she even talking about Men’s football. She can’t even kick a ball properly.
“Your coverage of the game EFC last night, took it to a new low.
“Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward, the Fred and Rose West of football commentary.”
And on January 7, 2024 Barton alleged women use “pillow talk” and their “sexuality to get an advantage”.
He posted: “We all know whose marriages you have violated. What info you got from the pillow talk to get ahead…
“I also, don’t blame you using your sexuality to get an advantage. It’s a big tool and everyone should use all there tools wisely in the game of life.”
He added: “Don’t take me for a fool. Lawyer up. Sue me. Get me cancelled. Pressure my employer’s, my sponsors.
“I’ve got plenty to fight you back with. I’ve deeper pockets than most.”
Who has reacted to Joey Barton’s comments?
TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods slammed Barton’s comments in a Twitter post.
She said: “Usually avoid these conversations as I don’t like adding more oxygen.
“But throwing young vloggers to the wolves is wrong.
“I started my career vlogging and I’ve always got on with Joey. He also sent me a lovely good luck message for TNT in June.
“Does that make him a eunuch too?
“Joey’s entitled to his opinion. If he feels that strongly about women in the men’s game he could ask for a private conversation with the broadcasters & state his case.
“These tweets only encourage a pile on for the women getting on with their jobs. Or was that the intention?”
Barton’s outburst triggered ex-Sky Sports veteran Bianca Westwood to ask him: “Who is qualified to speak on football then?”
Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored show on TalkTV on December 6, 2023 Bianca added: “I’ve been watching football for 40 years, my first game at West Ham was before Joey was even born.
“I’ve been watching hours and hours of football. I worked behind the scenes at Sky for 10 years before I was even given a shot on camera, watching my male colleagues who maybe weren’t as good as I was, getting chances I was never given.
“I don’t really understand what we need to know, how long we need to work behind the scenes before we are allowed on camera. To be a pundit, the laws are the same.”
She then drew on Chelsea women manager and ITV pundit Emma Hayes and Lioness boss Sarina Wiegman, asking Barton: “Are you saying they can’t offer an insight?”
In an Instagram story posted on December 7, 2023 Alex Scott and an unknown colleague can be heard laughing about Barton’s comments.
In the clip, Scott asks: “Who are you interviewing?”
The colleague replies: “I’m interviewing you actually.”
Scott says: “Oh are you? What are we talking about, Joey Barton?”
The quick-witted joke made Scott’s colleague burst out laughing.
On December 8, 2023 Scott then spoke out on X while sharing an article in which she opens up about her charity work.
She wrote: “Only thing I want to give oxygen to today on this platform & raise my voice to right now is this article below and how I’m so honoured to have spent the day yesterday with Refuge Charity who continue to do such incredible vital work for women & children.”
On December 16, 2023 presenter Dan Walker defended Scott, posting: “Hi Joey. Hope you’re ok. One of my Christmas wishes is that people with a big platform on here wouldn’t use it to drag others down.
“Alex WAS a great pro and IS a top television presenter — and a lovely person.
“Women who love football already have too many hurdles to climb over and too many doors slammed in their face. You have a big voice… use it to encourage.”
On January 5, 2024 ITV Sport hit back at Barton comparing its pundits to serial killers, with a spokesperson saying: “For Joey Barton, an ex-professional player with a significant social media presence, to target two of our pundits, Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward, with such vindictive remarks based on gender and to involve the names of serial killers in doing so is clearly contemptible and shameful on his part.
    “Football is for everyone.”
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville supported ITV’s statement, posting: “Well done ITV. It’s gone too far this and mentioning serial killers is quite simply incredible.
