I double checked this lock and my mate said it was locked.”The hotel had no clue how he got in. They were trying to say that we left the door unlocked. But I didn’t. “I 100% locked that door I know I did. The cleaners had gone back in so they could’ve left the door unlocked.”Sam admitted the friends were “lucky” not to have their belongings stolen, but had no concerns after they realised the man was a Lions fan. He said: “As soon as we knew he was an England football fan we thought he was alright.”We were really lucky. It could’ve been a lot worse.
