And a third replied: “How is that not handball 😂”.
The controversial decision came after West Ham were denied a late winner for offside on Declan Rice.
And earlier on this season the Hammers thought they had earned themselves a point at Stamford Bridge, only for Maxwel Cornet’s late strike to be ruled out for a soft foul by Jarrod Bowen.
The result leaves Chelsea ninth in the Premier League table, nine points adrift of the top four.

Gary Neville’s apology in full after liking tweet about Mason Greenwood as Manchester Utd striker has charges dropped

GARY Neville has said he was “clumsy” for liking a tweet about Mason Greenwood after the striker’s charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control were dropped. The football pundit, 47, insisted it is being misinterpreted, adding: “I obviously condemn any violence against women.”

He caused a storm last night for liking a tweet by former CPS director of public prosecutions Nazir Afzal, which said Greenwood was “an innocent man, that’s all we need to know”.
The tweet insisted “you are innocent till PROVEN guilty”, adding: “We don’t have trial by media. We don’t have evidence that any witnesses were lying.
“We don’t do ‘victim or complainant blaming’.”
But Neville had to back-track last night, writing: “I liked a tweet relating to the Mason Greenwood news this afternoon from Nazir Afzal. (the former director of public prosecutions).

“This like is being misinterpreted. It was a clumsy like as I obviously condemn any violence against women.”
He also removed his likes from any tweet to do with Greenwood.
It came after striker Mason Greenwood, 21, had all charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control dropped on Thursday.
But angry Man Utd fans said the club should boot him out.
    Most read in Football
Greenwood said he was “relieved” yesterday after all criminal charges against him — including attempted rape — were dropped by prosecutors.
The Man United star was informed that the Crown Prosecution Service had also withdrawn charges of actual bodily harm and coercive or controlling behaviour.
The move came after 12 witnesses — including the woman at the centre of the allegations — refused to co-operate.
Striker Greenwood, 21, said: “I am relieved that this matter is over and I would like to thank my family, loved ones and friends for their support.”
But United bosses announced the club is now conducting its own probe into his behaviour surrounding the claims — which surfaced online in January 2022.

Greenwood — who the club suspended following his arrest — will be unable to train or play for the Red Devils for the duration of the season.
A spokesman said: “The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps.
“We will not make any further comment until that process is complete.”
Last night dozens of United fans urged the club to get rid of Greenwood — who is on a £75,000-a-week contract.
Others said they should stick by him as he had not been convicted of any crime.
He was arrested in January 2022 after harrowing images were posted on social media, along with video and audio footage, suggesting he had been physically abusive towards a woman.
He was charged last October and had been due to stand trial this November.
The charges came despite the alleged victim telling cops in April 2022 she no longer wanted him prosecuted and would not give evidence  in court.
Police continued the case as they regarded her as a “vulnerable victim”.
Last Friday The Sun told the CPS that we understood it was struggling to build a case.
It confirmed our information at 2pm yesterday, when the end of proceedings was announced.
A CPS spokesman said: “A combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.
“We have explained our decision to all parties.
“We would always encourage any potential victims to come forward and report to police and we will prosecute wherever our legal test is met.”
Greenwood has made 129 United appearances, scoring 35 goals and has one England cap.

He last played on January 22 last year against West Ham.
Prior to his arrest, he was valued at around £50million and regarded as one of European football’s hottest young talents. More

Fury erupted online when Neville engaged with a post from Nazir Afzal, the former CPS director of public prosecutions.
Mr Afzal said Greenwood was “an innocent man, that’s all we need to know” adding “You are innocent till PROVEN guilty”.
He went on: “We don’t have trial by media. We don’t have evidence that any witnesses were lying. We don’t do “victim or complainant blaming”.
The comments sparked fury with many referencing the photos and audio clip that saw Greenwood arrested and charged for attempted rape, assault and coercive control.

The claims, now dropped, related to one woman and are said to have taken place between November 1, 2018, and October 15, 2022.
Neville, 47, swiftly removed his engagement with the post, before issuing an apology.
The former Man U right back said: “I liked a tweet relating to the Mason Greenwood news this afternoon from Nazir Afzal. ( the former director of public prosecutions).
“This like is being misinterpreted. It was a clumsy like as I obviously condemn any violence against women.”

After the charges were dropped by the CPS, Greenwood said: “I am relieved that this matter is now over and I would like to thank my family, loved ones and friends for their support.
“There will be no further comment at this time.”
    ‘DETERMINING NEXT STEPS’
It follows a statement from his club where they said they are now “determining next steps” for the player.
They added: “Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped.
“The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps.”
Greenwood was first arrested in January last year after police swooped on his mansion.
He was due to stand trial in November accused of attempted rape, assault and coercive control.
A spokesperson Crown Prosecution Service said today: “We have a duty to keep cases under continuous review.
“In this case a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.
“In these circumstances, we are under a duty to stop the case.

With Chelsea moving to complete the last-gasp deal for Enzo Fernandez’s £107million record-breaking transfer, Morgan decided to laud over his club’s position at the top of the table instead.
Sharing a picture of the current Premier League table, he said: “Reminder to Chelsea fans: we’re top of the League, you’re 10th, and we’re 21pts ahead of you with a game in hand.
“So spend all the gazillions you want but what you REALLY need to buy is a telescope🔭 to look up at Arsenal.”
However, Chelsea legend John Terry refused to take the dig lying down.

The former Blues skipper responded: “You have gone missing for 20 years! And you still have a long way to go…👀 💙.
“I have won more trophies since I retired playing golf than Arsenal have.🏌🏻‍♂️🤣.”
Morgan then hit back with another post.
He remarked: “Pipe down ‘Tiger’ Terry… it was only 18 years ago that Arsenal went unbeaten in a whole League season (incl stuffing Chelsea, led by you, home & away…).

“So the only thing that’s ‘missing’ is the word Invincible’ on your CV….”
So far Terry is yet to respond again.
One club-man Terry, now 42, won 17 trophies at Chelsea, including the Champions League and five Prem titles.
And Chelsea could sure use his defensive prowess as they aim to drag themselves back towards the European qualification spots from a poor opening half of the campaign.
However, a massive outlay across the winter market has seen Chelsea spend a whopping £325m on eight transfers.
Meanwhile, Arsenal had a far more shrewd window, completing a deadline day deal for Jorginho as they sent Albert Sambi Lokonga out on loan.
Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior also arrived for a combined £48m earlier in the window. More
