A National League statement said: “The fixture will be rescheduled in full.
“The matter was considered thoroughly, with the outcome decided in line with National League regulations and previous occurrences of this nature. A new date for the game will be announced by the clubs in due course.”
But Buxton have disputed the decision and said they should be awarded all three points as they led with just four minutes of added time remaining.
Buxton boss Craig Elliott said the 10 minutes of added time was in part due to interruptions caused by objects allegedly thrown at their goalkeeper.

Boss Elliot told BBC Radio Derby that the game was ended “abruptly” without consultation with either manager.
He said: “[The referee] literally had a quick word with his linesman, blew the whistle and ran down the tunnel.
“I think that was the most disappointing thing for me, the lack of communication, he could easily have had a word with us both.
“He could even have called us into his room after the game and said this is what’s happening or this is what we’re going to do moving forward.

“For us all to be left wondering what was going on was really disappointing.”
The manager continued by saying that he felt that the postponement was unnecessary, saying: “I think the referee could have played the last few minutes, bad as the conditions were, or at least said ‘let’s give it 15 minutes’.
“The rain did stop and we could have played the remaining four minutes.
“The fans were still in the stadium 10, 15 minutes after the game because no-one knew what was going on.
“It’s absolute madness what happened. I’ve never been involved in anything quite as bad as that.”
Fans on Twitter fumed at the decision to call the game off with just four minutes left to play.
One fan said: “Absurd, whoever made the decision needs to be fired.”
Another wrote: “Most nonsensical thing I’ve ever heard in football. Ridiculous.”
A third commented: “What’s happening to the referee? Having read both sides he absolutely made a complete farce of it, no communication no try and finish with a break.

“No doubt he took his fees and will be on duty again shortly.”
A fourth chimed in by saying: “Absolute disgrace.” More

The Seasiders are totally behind their winger and have found a creative way to help him win Player of the Month against Taiwo Awoniyi, Jarrod Bowen, James Maddison, Bryan Mbeumo and Rodri.
The Japan international’s stunner against Wolves is also a favourite for Goal of the Month, but faces competition from Bukayo Saka, Bowen, Alexander Isak, Gustavo Hamer, Luis Diaz, Raheem Sterling and Kevin Schade.
Brighton have enlisted the help of Swift’s fans, who have proven to carry a lot of influence in many different areas – including football, even though the singer has no association with the beautiful game.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side took to Twitter and declared Mitoma is a “massive Taylor Swift fan” hoping that the American singer’s millions of supporters worldwide will vote for him.

Brighton tweeted: “Did you know… @Kaoru_Mitoma is a massive @TaylorSwift13 fan?
“In totally unrelated news, he’s also nominated for #PL Player of the Month and #PL Goal of the Month. Vote here!”
This comes after Swift’s fans backed England international Jude Bellingham to win the 2023 Kopa Trophy in the upcoming Ballon d’Or awards.

Spotting the comment, one die-hard Swift fan wrote on Twitter: “Hey Swifties! we can’t let this Balde guy win the golden boy award Vote for Jude Bellingham here.”

Fans in uproar as referee ABANDONS non-league clash five minutes into stoppage time – and even teams didn’t realise

A NON-LEAGUE clash between Scunthorpe United and Buxton was bizarrely abandoned in the final minutes of stoppage time due to a waterlogged pitch, leaving both teams baffled.Visitors Buxton were leading the match 2-1 when the referee decided to suspend play at Glanford Park.

The premature end came shortly after a torrential rain storm on the hottest day of the year so far.
Both managers were left completely perplexed at full-time, with Scunthorpe boss Jimmy Dean admitting: “It just wasn’t clear at all.”
Dean told BBC Radio Humberside: “I went on to the pitch to ask him [the referee] what was going on after he blew the whistle and I don’t think he knew himself. It was when we got inside that he said it was abandoned.
“There was no dialogue, or coming over to talk to us, and he only confirmed it was abandoned when all hell broke loose in the tunnel.

“He said the game was over when I went on the pitch and I asked what that meant because there was at least five minutes of injury time left.
“The game should have been abandoned earlier than it was because we missed a penalty, but the player couldn’t see the ball.
“If I were Buxton I would want the game finished today. I’d want to go in, wait for 20 minutes and see if it dried out. The way the referee blew his whistle… it just wasn’t clear at all.”
Scunthorpe’s social media admin was also left confused.
    Most read in Football
After tweeting that Buxton had won the match, they followed-up with a short statement that read: “We have been informed that the referee has abandoned the game, rather than blown the full-time whistle. As soon as we have further information, we will let you know.”
Buxton had a similar social media mishap when they thought the final whistle had been blown.
A tweet from the club’s Twitter page read: “The referee has blown up early due to the poor weather conditions. WE HAVE PICKED UP ALL THREE POINTS GET INNNNNNN! Goals from McBurnie and Hunt means we go back to Derbyshire with the win!!”
However, they then added: “The referee has in fact abandoned the game, rather than blown the full-time whistle. As soon as we have further information, we will let you know.”
The National League North has said that no determination will be made on the outcome of the game until the referee’s report is received. More

Premier League champion reveals he was attacked, nearly run over & received death threat in wake of Keane headbutt drama

CHRIS SUTTON has revealed he was attacked in a hotel and nearly run over on a pavement – because of his punditry. The ex-England star also says he received a death threat in the post as he spoke out after a fan was accused of headbutting Sky Sports’ Roy Keane.
A fan has been arrested following an incident shown online involving Sky Sports duo Roy Keane and Micah Richards
Chris Sutton has told of the extreme abuse he has faced as a punditCredit: Getty
Sutton, 50, has been “abused on an airplane by mobs” – but his main concern is how the shocking treatment affects his family.
The former Premier League title-winner with Blackburn partly blames “vitriolic” social media.
But despite a 42-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of assaulting Keane, Sutton is refusing to tone down his own “open, honest and blunt” opinions on air.
Manchester United legend Keane and TV colleague Micah Richards were caught up in an incident at Arsenal’s 3-1 home win over the Red Devils on Sunday.

Footage of the confrontation was shown on social media.
And it has focused attention on the reaction pundits can face – in person as well as online.
Sutton outlined the extreme threats he has faced.
He told The Mail: “Somebody tried to attack me before in a hotel bar. I’ve had a death threat. I’ve had a car mount the pavement and career towards me.

‘I’ve been abused quite badly. I’d say possibly three times over the years, on an airplane by mobs. There’s not like you can do much about it.
“The concern for me would be the effect things have on my family.
“Social media is a really vitriolic place and you know there’ve been certain things which have been posted about my about my dad who you know has dementia which were upsetting, stuff about my daughter.
“I try and be open and up front. I’m not on Instagram so I post a lot of things on Twitter (now X) and most people I think are nice, decent people who understand what Twitter is and you can have a bit of back and forth.
“But it’s society, isn’t it? There’s always that minority of stupid people who spoil it for other people.” More

MMA fighter Danis has shared numerous photos of Agdal with her previous partners in what many have called a “slut-shaming” campaign.
And Agdal – the former girlfriend of Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio – has had enough, suing and filing a restraining order against the New Yorker.
Agdal claims to have “suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm” from Danis’ incessant tweets about her.
She also accuses Danis of sharing a 10-year-old X-rated photo of her from a “romantic encounter” with a former partner.
    READ MORE IN SPORT
In the suit, Agdal claims that one of Danis’ posts “violated federal and state law”.
An excerpt of the suit read: “Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent.
“Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.”
Agdal claims Danis only removed the photo after Misfits Boxing threatened to cancel his social media clash with Paul.

Danis also shared a six-year-old video of Agdal talking about wanting physical intimacy after a period of celibacy.
She suggests “Danis had hacked [her] personal account or had obtained the private video from someone who had done so” as the video was stored in her Snapchat archive.
Agdal is seeking damages of £120,000 per federal violation and has asked a judge to ban Danis from posting further sexually explicit images which could potentially harm her reputation.
Danis – a long-time pal of UFC superstar Conor McGregor – broke his silence on the lawsuit on Twitter but sensationally made light of it.
He said: “Nina Adgel has filed a massive lawsuit against me.
“She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail.
“This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*** the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.” More
